Turkish English Tafsir Lesson 17-18

Turkish English Tafsir Lesson 17-18

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 17

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most Merciful. Dearest listeners! May Almighty Allah’s eternal bliss and peace be upon all believers. Allah’s eternal bliss and peace be upon those who believe in Allah in a way that suits Allah, Allah’s sifāts (attributes) and Almighty Allah’s glory. Allah’s eternal bliss and peace be upon those who know Allah correctly. May they be upon those who believe in the peerless order of life; who believe in Allah’s laws and rules. The name of that peerless order is Islam. Greeting upon all of our brothers who fully believe in Islam. May all sorts of happiness, goodness, and blessings be with them. The values that give this divine and blissful life are the Islamic values. May the belief (iman) of Islam be granted to all humanity. What we desire is everybody’s happiness. Islam calls everyone upon the life-giving divine values. Islam introduces the true life-style. Our lesson continues with this topic. This is the sequel of our last lesson. We continue with our 17th lesson. May Janâb-i Haqq grant us being the most beneficial to the humanity and earning the consent of Allah. May Janâb-i Haqq bestow us a life that Allah approves. Our endeavor is towards that. Otherwise, we do not have any ulterior motives against anyone. We cannot have any ulterior motives anyway. This is because the idea of Islam, or rather the spirit of Islam means salvation for everyone. Islam calls to salvation. Islam calls to the true life-style. Islam calls to the life-giving divine values. You see, Al-Quran Al-Karim, and Prophet Muhammad comes first when it comes to calling. There are many valuable figures who had achieved success in this way. May Allah bestow rahmat (blessing) upon their souls. Because, they had also worked for the better good of humanity. The endeavors of our grand âlims, our martyrs, murshids and mujtahids have always been towards this direction. The entire humanity is being warned. We call people to the true life and the life-giver. But also, it is also our duty to warn those who go to wrong ways. This duty also comes from the life-giving values. We call people to the life-giving light. We are making the talks about the life-giving light. We are making its lessons. We are trying to be helpful to each other. Most valuable friends! The life-giving light and the life-giving order is the order established by Allah. The constitution and laws of this divine order is Al-Quran Al-Karim. The addressee here is the entire humanity. The call here is to all humanity. They come to Islam with pleasure. They live in this life-giving and blissful order of life. Moreover, they prepare themselves for Janna (Paradise). The religion of Islam, this life-giving order, and its laws is for establishing a blissful order of life in this world and then take people to Janna (Paradise).

Time Stamp: 5:14

The name of this world is Dar al-Islam (house/abode of Islam) and the name of afterlife is Dar es-Salaam (Palace of Peace). It is Allah who established this order. So, Allah (c.c.) personally created this order. This is not the order of an ordinary folk. This is the order established by Allah. We are servants of Allah. Indeed we should obey the Creator. We should be in the service of our Creator. We should acknowledge the rulership of our Rabb (Lord). We are citizens under Allah’s homeland. We should be Muslims, a citizen of this homeland, and a servant of Allah. The innate nature (fitrah) of all humanity is being Muslims. We are not talking about the innate nature (fitrah) of the easterners or the westerners. The innate nature (fitrah) of humans is Islam. You can either develop this innate nature (fitrah) of yours via these lessons that come from arş-i ala (the ninth heaven) and al-Lawhu ‚l-Mahfuz and the ecole (school) of Islam, and the laws of the life-giving order. You can either go up or down. Islam takes you up, it advances you. Islam is ahead of all ages, and the skies. Islam incorporates all of these holiest values and all of these lessons which are not present in Universities for they come from arş-i ala (the ninth heaven) and al-Lawhu ‚l-Mahfuz and the entirety of all ilm (knowledge), and irfan (wisdom). This is because the ecole (school) of our Creator is Islam. We should study in Islam. We should graduate from Islam, and get a diploma. In the eternal religion of Islam it is a duty for every servant to be on duty, to participate in Islam, and get a diploma from Islam. It is the reality of servitude. That is why we are commissioned here. People may or may not obey, that is up to them. Those who obey will get the rewards of their obedience. Also, those who do not obey but revolt will get the returns of their rebellion. With these talks we have made an entry to our lesson. Our lesson will continue now. They could not become Muslims due to their conceit. You see, the entire humanity is being warned. The Jewish scholars could not become Muslims due to their conceit and envy. Whereas Islam is the religion of all humanity. The religion brought by Musa (Moses) was also Islam. The religion of Dawud (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), Yūsuf (Joseph) Ya’qub (Jacop), Ishmael, İsaac, and Abraham was Islam. There was tiding of the coming of Prophet Muhammad in Torah. There was tiding of the coming of Prophet Muhammad in Bible. Prophet Muhammad was known in the Torah clearly and even his eyes and brows were defined. Prophet Musa (Moses), and all prophets used to give tidings of Prophet Muhammad. In the Torah, and Bible, they knew Prophet Muhammad just like they know their own children. Yet such a shame that people are doing wrong to themselves. It is not just the wrong they have done to themselves. They reflect this wrongdoing to the humanity.

Time Stamp: 10:00

That is why Jewish scholars could not become Muslims due to their conceit and envy. Janâb-i Haqq has driven Iblis to the ranks of the disbelievers (kāfirs). Allah counted the disbelievers (kāfirs) among the nation and religion of Iblis. Allah said entirety of all disbelief (kufr) is a single nation. Dearest friends! Disbelief (kufr) is a single nation. Whoever has it, belongs to the nation of disbelief (kufr). You see, Islam wants the humanity to become a nation of belief (iman). Islam wants you to become a servant of Allah. Islam wants to save you from tyrannical and evil powers. Islam conveys the life-giving truth so that no one may go to Jahannam (Hell) while there is Janna (Paradise). That would be such a pity. A person must not be within the nation of Iblis. Everyone should be within the nation of Islam. I’ll say this again, belief (iman) in Islam are the innate nature (fitrah) of humanity today. There are people who disrupt this innate nature (fitrah). There are people who disrupt their own innate nature (fitrah) and seek other innate nature (fitrah) other than the divine innate nature (fitrah). You see, they fall into the situation of Iblis. They become citizens of the nation of Iblis. They are now from the religion of Iblis. So, if you look into the meanings Janâb-i Haqq gave to the verses these can be seen clearly. The entirety of all disbelief (kufr) is a single nation. Iblis means being utterly hopeless from what is good. When a person abandons hope from the rahmat (blessing) of Allah fall into the situation of Iblis. One cannot abandon hope from the rahmat (blessing) of Allah. It is a must to meet with Allah, or rather it is a must for a meeting of creator and creature in order not be abandon hope from the rahmat (blessing) of Allah. Especially the creature is eternally in need of the creator. In that case, we should understand and comprehend the values that Allah Ta’ala revealed and Prophet Muhammad introduced. We have to recognize our Rabb (Lord) howsoever our Prophet (saw), and Al-Quran Al-Karim narrated us. We shall believe. We accept that Allah is Rahman (most Gracious), and Rahim (most Merciful). We accept Allah is attributed with almighty sifāts (attributes). We know Allah’s rahmat (blessing) surpasses Allah’s wrath. We know that Allah is not someone from whom we can abandon hope. We know that it is necessary to be hopeful eternally. Moreover we know that Allah’s wrath against those who revolt is too severe. So, we should love Allah with a divine affection. We should love Allah with a peerless affection and fear Allah with every fiber of our being. As for cruelty, that is stepping out of the line and putting someone else in the place of Allah. You see, Janâb-i Haqq created everything properly. And Allah gave the proper commands for everything. It is cruelty when you not acknowledge Allah’s justice .and place someone else instead of Allah. This cruelty is inflicted upon the person himself. When this cruelty is inflicted upon someone else it is even worse. However, the cruelty inflicted upon someone else is much bigger. There is also the word ‘shajarat’, you see one of the words present in these verses is ‘shajarat’. It is the name of a tree in Janna (Paradise). They also called this word meanings such as wheat, grape, and fig. They said these are the meanings of the word. Ibn-i Abbas (r.a.) had called hyacinth as ear of grain.

Time Stamp: 15:06

There are also some who call it as grapevine. It is such a tree that the angels scratch themselves with it in order to attain immortality (ḫuld). As for the Christians, they say intercourse is forbidden for the clergy. They say it is forbidden for the clergy to get married. Whereas it is clear that Adam and Hawwa (Eve) were married. It is also clear that their idea is against the innate nature (fitrah), and so wrong. Janâb-i Haqq had created marriage as an essential. Marriage is a necessity of our innate nature (fitrah). People are created as males and females. No one can stand against this innate nature (fitrah). Allah does not place a law that contradicts another law of Allah. The boundary here means prohibition. A boundary has been set for the test, and servitude). In other words, in relation to free and endless bounties given by Janâb-i Haqq in relation to all the endless freedom given a boundary is set so that we may not draw near what is prohibited. It is a pity that this was a test. And this test was a necessity of servitude. In order to see whether they obey to Allah, or not. Or do they revolt? This was done in order to test humanity. What was done here was this. Talaqqi means ’to meet, and learn. Now, let us look into the talaqqi (one-to-one learnings) of Adam. After eating from the prohibited tree Adam performed talaqqi as it was mentioned in the verses. So, what did Adam Alaihissalam say? He begged to Janâb-i Haqq. Talaqqi means ‘to learn, and to embrace what you learn. In other words, he learns from Allah, and embraces what he learns. The words Adam Alaihissalam had learned. There is the 23th verse in Surah al-A’raf. The following words are in addition to those in Subhanaka. “velâ ilâhe illâ ente zalemtü nefsi fağfirlî innehu layağfiruzzünübe ve illâ end” He learns the afore words, and there is also the begging of Adam in the 23th verse of Surah al-A’raf. [7:2] “qālā rabbanā ẓalamnā ʾanfusanā wa-ʾin lam taghfir lanā wa-tarḥamnā la-nakūnanna mina l-khāsirīn” O, Rabb (Lord), if you do not forgive us and have mercy on us and if you do not feel pity for us, we will surely among the losers. Adam started begging as you have read. He embraced complete repentance, and asked for forgiveness. He learned these words. And he presented his regret. The following is reported by Ibn-i Abbas (r.a.). “O, my Rabb (Lord)! Did You not create me with Your own hands?” said Adam. “Yes,” said Janâb-i Haqq. “O, my Rabb (Lord)! Does your rahmat (blessing) not surpass your wrath?” said Adam. Janâb-i Haqq said, “Yes, it has surpassed.” “O, my Rabb (Lord)! Would you take in Your Janna (Paradise) again if I repent and chasten this state of mine,” said Adam. “Yes, I will take you in My Janna (Paradise) and I will have you return,” said Janâb-i Haqq. O, people! What we see here are such grand lessons/warnings given to the humanity.

Time Stamp: 20:07

You should stand up against evil with your heart and your tongue. In other words, with your speech, and your actions, and repentance. Your first objective is to perform jihad (struggle) against Iblis, the shaitans, and their evil. You must perform jihad (struggle) with your nafs (self). May your nafs (self) not side with Iblis. Make your nafs (self) obey Allah. And see the struggle against the shaitans as a duty upon yourself. Be in the side of Allah, under the command of Allah with all your power of belief (iman) and Islam, against all evil. Almighty Allah (c.c.) does not abandon a servant eternally. If you do not insist like Iblis, Allah will look at you again as you repent. Allah eternally looks at you. Allah does not say one strike, two strike, or three strike. Allah looks at you infinitely. Allah is Rahman (most Gracious) and Rahim (most Merciful). Allah is Ghaffar and Ghafur (most Forgiving). Allah is Tawwab (ever Returning, ever Relenting). Allah is the most Merciful. Almighty Allah’s wrath turns into rahmat (blessing) as the servant repents and returns to his original state, a sinless state. In other words, Allah will look at you with rahmat (blessing) rather than wrath. Allah renounces his wrath. So, if you truly and sincerely repent and ask for forgiveness Janâb-i Haqq renounces from wrath. So, what does Janâb-i Haqq do? Janâb-i Haqq looks at you with rahmat (blessing), and forgiveness. Then, Allah shows mercy on you. This is because Allah is the most merciful. Rahman (most Gracious), Rahim (most Merciful) and Ghaffar and Ghafur (most Forgiving). Allah incorporates all almighty sifāts (attributes). There is no limit of Allah’s power (qudrah). There is no resisting the will of Allah. When a servant regrets and endeavors to stay away from committing sins that is a repentance. At the same time Almighty Allah accepts the repentance and forgives the sins. This is the beginning of the fundamentals of repentance. I shall repeat now. Repentance is when a servant regrets and endeavors to not commit a sin. At the same time Almighty Allah accepts the repentance and forgives the sins. The humanity came from the lineage of Adam Alaihissalam. We are the children of Adam and Hawwa (Eve). Therefore, humanity is actually a brotherhood. This is what we mean by the brotherhood of humanity. For the entire humanity descended from the lineage of the same father and mother. As humanity we have a brotherhood here. Our brotherhood is innate (fitrah). Because, all of us are actually Muslims in our innate nature (fitrah). For all innate natures (fitrah) are the Islamic. People disrupt their innate nature (fitrah) later. People break the promise they gave to Allah. People revolt against Allah. People fall into disbelief (kufr), practice polytheism (shirk) and cause corruption (nifaq). These are the people who returned from their promise. And they are the ones who switched to the evil side, the side of shaitan. You see, people did not come from any other species. All people are from the same species. Those who lost their humanity became something else.

Time Stamp: 25:03

But no other species turned into humans. The entire humanity is a single species that do not come from any other species. But those who lost their humanity became something else. This is important. Human species did not come from any other species, that is not possible. But those who lost their humanity became something else. You see, in zoology, the evolutionary theory is erroneous and wrong. When you observe animals they go from imperfect to perfect. Yet a species giving birth to another species have never been encountered. Each animal have their own, particular species. Each species give birth to their own species. Some may be degenerates but the same species will continue. You see, the humanity have descended from the lineage of Adam and Hawwa (Eve). We will see the situations of those who lost their humanity in our upcoming lessons. There were people who descended to the level of pigs and monkeys. A human gives birth to a human. A lion gives birth to a lion. A money gives birth to a monkey. A dog gives birth to a dog. The theory of evolution says a money gave birth to a human. They say humans descended from monkeys. That opinion is skeptical about the brotherhood of humanity but acknowledges that we are a brotherhood of animals and monkeys. Those who acknowledge that view accept being a money and an animal. As for humanity, it is the noblest of the creatures. It is not possible for a human being to fall into that situation unless he loses his humanity. People are created with an innate nature (fitrah) of Islam. And they did continue to advance via Islam. Those who do not believe and ignore Islam, Quran, Allah, and the Prophet are the ones who threw themselves in the deepest of holes. Besides, the return of disbelief (kufr) is Jahannam (Hell). Disbelief (kufr) is entrance to the lower layers of Jahannam (Hell). But of course, this happens gradually. Jahannam (Hell) has various stages in return of disbelief (kufr). Going deep into Jahannam is lower-ranking, these stages lead you down. Going down is lower-ranking. Going up is a degree. There are degrees in Janna (Paradise). Also, in Jahannam (Hell) there is only lower-ranking because you go down. Wahdat, or unity is a correct term. In other words, there is wahdat, there is unity. That is correct. It is Allah Ta’ala who created the matter, earth and Adam and Hawwa (Eve) and their offspring and the entire world of humanity. The theory of evolution also contradicts the Pastor’s empirical theory. Al-Quran Al-Karim, which is wahy-i ilahi (divine revelation) rejects evolution. The true ilm (knowledge), and the true science which is above all sciences is the ilm (knowledge) of Al-Quran Al-Karim. For those are Allah’s own words, which is kalamullah (speech of Allah). It is Allah’s book.

Time Stamp: 30:02

It completely came from Allah and settled into the heart of Prophet Muhammad. Then it was committed to paper via clerks. Then it was compiled into books. Thus, the Quran became a book. There are no words of people, angels, prophets or words of someone else in Al-Quran Al-Karim. Also, the Quran will not be changed until the Last Day (Qiyamah). It will be protected because it is the last book. Al-Quran Al-Karim is he book of the entire humanity. Whether people believe in it, or not. Allah is the Rabb (Lord) of the entire world. As for the Quran, it is Allah’s book. That is why the Quran is the book of the entire humanity. And Allah is the Rabb (Lord) of the entire humanity. Prophet Muhammad is the Prophet of the entire humanity. This is also because he is the last Prophet. For it is Allah Ta’ala who gave this duty to Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad was not commissioned by a state, an establishment, or a nation. Only Allah selects the prophets. Allah commissions them. Allah gives them duties. Also, Allah wants the implementation of Allah’s laws and decrees via the prophets. After the Prophet, those who carry that belief who acknowledge Allah’s decrees and implement them will continue to implement it until the Last Day (Qiyamah). You see, Al-Quran Al-Karim is wahy-i ilahi (divine revelation). It rejects the theory of evolution and all things that are wrong. All truths are within Al-Quran Al-Karim. The essence of every truth in the world no matter where it may be, is within Al-Quran Al-Karim. Al-Quran Al-Karim also rejects every wrongdoing no matter where it may be, or from whom it may occur. What Al-Quran Al-Karim accepts benefits humanity and what it rejects is to save people from loss. So, Islam, the shining Quran, the life-giving and glorious Quran, demands and orders doing what is right and wards off what is harmful, and prohibits it. Al-Quran Al-Karim gave news of the people who dropped to the level of monkeys. In other words, they lost their humanity and dropped to the level of monkeys. That is what we call lower-ranking. The moneys did not evolve into people but some people lost their humanity and dropped to the level of monkeys. Al-Quran Al-Karim informs us about this. There are people who lose their humanity and become like pigs. Al-Quran Al-Karim gave news about this . In another report there are people who became like rats. As for evolving from animals to people, Al-Quran Al-Karim rejects this. Quran says that we are people, and we should live like people. Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq said. [95:4] “la-qad khalaqnā l-ʾinsāna fī ʾaḥsani taqwīm” [95:4] “We certainly created man in the best of forms.” In the best traits, and form. I created man as the most honorable of all creatures (ashrafi makhluqat), says Janâb-i Haqq. So, be a human. As a human your innate nature (fitrah) is Islam. Thus, you should advance via Islam, says Janâb-i Haqq. Do not let people deceive you by speaking ill about Muslims, and Islam. Those ill ideas belong to no one but themselves. Those are their slanders, and lies. They are work of the outdated and charred mindsets, and poison spreading tongues. Islam is the fadeless and eternal light that is over the sun. It is the light that lights the sun itself. It is the light of all lights. It is the entirety of all life-giving lights.

Time Stamp: 35:04

It is the truth and reality itself. That is why Janâb-i Haqq tells us to just be humans. Janâb-i Haqq tells us to be brothers. Allah does not tell us to become monkeys or other animals. The entire humanity is from the lineage of Adam. The innate nature (fitrah) is one, but habits are different. Islam wants to remove all types of hostility between people. Islam wants the happiness of all humanity. Islam wants all hearts, souls, souls, anfusi and afaqi world, to live in a complete peace, and social justice. Islam is the name of the order established by Allah. Allah has no equals or comparables, so does Islam. Even if the entire humanity gathered, can they make one divinity? Even if you incorporate the intellect and ilm (knowledge) of all creatures, you cannot make a divine entity with its own earth and heavens and Jannah and Jahannam. For Allah (c.c.) is the One who creates all worlds out of nothing. The creatures cannot be like the Creator. They cannot be creators for they are all creatures. As for Allah, Allah is the Creator. You see, Islam is the order established by the Creator. If only we could discover Al-Quran Al-Karim well just like Prophet Muhammad understood it. If only we could understand Islam like our mujtahids, and the sahabah (companions) have understood it. And if only we could enter under the command of Allah, and surrender to Allah. Islam has a meaning that meaning is a complete submission to Allah, and that submission is universal. In other words, one cannot show half or quarter submission to Allah. You are a servant of Allah, and you belong to Allah. All of us must show a complete submission to Allah. So, is it possible to ensure the peace of all hearts and souls? Yes, that is possible. If the humanity refuses to do what is possible and compels to do the opposite, they shall bear the consequences. Endeavors to divine the eastern world, or the western world or to be like eastern or western people or to be fascists or communists or liberalists or to be an enemy of wealth or to be an enemy of labor, or whatever comes to your mind; all of these are completely fake next to the Islamic justice, Islamic belief (iman) and wisdom (irfan). That is similar to nothing more than a fake plastic baby sucking milk from plastic breasts. Therefore, they are not real. For the order established by Allah is the primary order. The others are human-made. You may ask about the difference between what is divine and what is human-made. That difference is as much as the difference between Allah and the servants. Dearest, and most venerable friends! Some people are friend or successor of Shaitan while they look like they are successors of Adam. The humanity should never fall into this situation. Those who have fallen must be saved. The savior is no one but Allah. And Islam is the religion of Allah. Islam is the savior. Islam came to save the humanity, and convey them to serenity. Islam consists completely of serenity, justice ilm (knowledge), irfan (wisdom), brotherhood, and mercy.

Time Stamp: 40:07

It is Prophet Muhammad who said, “A man is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbor is hungry.” It is Prophet Muhammad, who understood, implemented, and carried out on earth. It is Prophet Muhammad who implemented all of the life-giving values on earth. The law in his hands is the divine law which is Al-Quran Al-Karim. Also, with his sunnah (customs), and implementation he showed us how to implement Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam on earth. Thus, he laid the foundation of this. Thus and so, dearest friends! It is not necessary to wonder if the sun that has risen yesterday will rise today, it sure will rise. Islam has been enlightening the world for fourteen centuries. Moreover, it shall enlighten the world eternally. The humanity is to blame; there is no guilt or flaws in Islam. If a caliph (successor) did not perform his duty properly this is a human-made error. Or, if he assumed that position looking like a caliph (successor) while he is not, this is also a human-made error. If this thing turned into a sultanate, this is a human-made error. Also, if there are rightdoings and wrongdoings of those who turned this into a sultanate then these are all human-made errors. These are related with people, and their own acts/deeds. Islam’s righteousness is always clear; for there are people who implement it correctly. We will raise the staff that will implement Islam correctly. We will raise the staff that Allah wanted. We will raise the eyes, ears, hearts and souls that look upon the universe via Islam. We will raise the staff that looks to the world from the perspective of Al-Quran Al-Karim. We will raise the staff that looks to the world via the divine perspective, and Allah’s consent. If you place those who look at everything from the perspective of their nafs (self), money, exploitation and cruelty to the head of all positions, then you will see the banks being ransacked. When grand thieves emerge, you cannot say anything to the lesser thieves. You think you can exploit one side of the world. You think you can make one side rich to the amount that they won’t even know the value of the capital. You think you can leave one side poor. You think you can make this great gap in between two sides. Then, when the world starts trembling and rolling to the end of the cliff you try to find a way to take precautions. That is, after it too late. However, it is not too late. Islam shall be present as long as the world is present. Allah’s justice, and social justice is the true concept of justice. True mercy is the mercy of Allah. Allah has manifested to the world via Islam. Allah’s rahmat (blessing) has manifested to the worlds via Islam. That is why Prophet Muhammad was sent upon the worlds as prophet of rahmat (blessing). He is the Prophet of all people, including the djinn. You may not accept such a justice, such a mercy, such divine order and laws and choose a human-made system. However, when we rule the humanity with human-based systems and orders in which one person says one thing and the other says the opposite; that would not be enough.

Time Stamp: 45:05

It may please a few people. It will please the ones who are fed by the system. On the other hand, the system does not please mass of people, and the humanity in general. The system cannot please them. The truth must take its place in the hearts and the souls first. At the very least, the legacy of humanity should be given to able people. Otherwise, the rights of the orphans, the poor, the innocent and the victims will be taken, and they will continue to be exploited. And this exploitation continues. Caring for the happiness of a minority group and ignoring the others is mercilessness and remorselessness. That would also mean not knowing or seeing Allah Ta’ala. Those who do not see, know, recognize Allah do not want to acknowledge Al-Quran Al-Karim, Prophet Muhammad and the divine order. Azrail Alaihissalam shall come and jump down your throat. He will say, “Give me your life.” What will you say then? Will you say that you were a judge, and tell them to leave you alone? Will you say that you were a prosecutor, a president or a commander of chief, a general, or a rich person? Will you tell them to leave you alone because of your former title? Azrail jumped down your throat, he took you. He is taking you to the grave and then he will take you to the Great Gathering (Mahshar). What will you say? It does not matter even if you say you were rich or poor. Janâb-i Haqq wants belief (imam), and Islam from you. Allah asks you, “where are My laws and rules?” “You acknowledged pharaohs as rulers but you did not acknowledge Me.” “You acknowledged the laws and philosophies of the fake, fabricated and human-made systems but you did not acknowledge the truth and reality that I manifested with My laws.” “Did I create you, or did those pharaohs, and tyrants create you?” So, what will you say when Allah asks these to you? Come brother, do not be deceived. We are brothers. B Our father Adam is one. Our Creator, our Rabb (Lord) is One. Our mother, Hawwa (Eve) is one. We are people. You should not act ideologically. You should get rid of obsessions and tabus. Those who do not accept Allah has the biggest tabu, and obsession. You have bigotry, you are backward headed. Can there be progressivism in those who refuse to accept Allah? Can there be modernism in those who replace Allah’s laws and belief (iman) with disbelief (kufr)? Ilm (knowledge), irfan (wisdom), the mercy and blessing that lights the souls and justice erupts from the bosom of Islam. in order to give life to the world. You escape from the true life-giver and think that the habitat that destroys you is life. That environment is not a place to live. All of the life-giving and true values are the values of Islam, Quran, and Allah. There is such an able leader who convey and implement these properly. That leader is Prophet Muhammad. Many siddiqs (trustworthy), and faruqs (wise) people have been raised. Many zinnurayn (bearer of two blessed lights) and murtaza (chosen) people have been raised. Many heroes have been raised. Many bahadir (brave) people have been raised. This staff is the one that works for the better good of humanity. As for the idols, and their followers; they have declared war to this staff that works for the better good of humanity. This war continues in this day as well. As long as this world, and humanity is within the hands of these tyrants there will not be peace in the world.

Time Stamp: 50:10

Islam is completely peace, belief (iman), justice and mercy; from a to z. You should read Quran and see what Allah says. You should discover the verses of Quran. Discover the verses of Quran, and discover the laws of the universe. That is how you can work for the better good of humanity. Yet they made the atom bomb and fired it upon the humanity. Did Janâb-i Haqq give skills to people so that they cause corruption on earth and the seas? Did Janâb-i Haqq place intellect into the brains of people for that? Whatever Allah has given you is given so that you may work for the good. You should work for your own good, and the greater good of humanity. You should give up this malice. Janâb-i Haqq shows examples to the universe. Look, Janâb-i Haqq gives exemplary lessons. And Janâb-i Haqq draws attention to the actions of the Israelites and the environment they were in. For many prophets have emerged from Israelites. However, it is such a pity that they did not listen to the prophets. Now, let us have a brief look into the verses. Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. [2:40] “yā-banī ʾisrāʾīla dhkurū niʿmatiya llatī ʾanʿamtu ʿalaykum wa-ʾawfū bi-ʿahdī ʾūfi bi-ʿahdikum wa-ʾiyyāya fa-rhabūn” [2:41] “wa-ʾāminū bi-mā ʾanzaltu muṣaddiqan li-mā maʿakum wa-lā takūnū ʾawwala kāfirin bihī wa-lā tashtarū bi-ʾāyātī thamanan qalīlan wa-ʾiyyāya fa-ttaqūn”. [2:42] “wa-lā talbisū l-ḥaqqa bi-l-bāṭili wa-taktumū l-ḥaqqa wa-ʾantum taʿlamūn” [2:43] “wa-ʾaqīmū ṣ-ṣalāta wa-ʾātū z-zakāta wa-rkaʿū maʿa r-rākiʿīn” [2:44] “ʾa-taʾmurūna n-nāsa bi-l-birri wa-tansawna ʾanfusakum wa-ʾantum tatlūna l-kitāba ʾa-fa-lā taʿqilūn” [2:45] “wa-staʿīnū bi-ṣ-ṣabri wa-ṣ-ṣalāti wa-ʾinnahā la-kabīratun ʾillā ʿalā l-khāshiʿīn” [2:45] “alladhīna yaẓunnūna ʾannahum mulāqū rabbihim wa-ʾannahum ʾilayhi rājiʿūn” Sadaqa Allaah al-‚Azeem (Allah Almighty has spoken the truth). Dearest, and most venerable friends! O, the humanity! Al-Quran Al-Karim warns you about dangers in order to unite you with the life-giving, eternal, and blissful life. Al-Quran Al-Karim shows you many examples. And presents you the true life on a silver platter. Al-Quran Al-Karim shows you the true life, and directs you towards it. Al-Quran Al-Karim says that you shall be saved if you acknowledge with your own free will. It does not force you. Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq said in these verses. [2:40] “O Children of Isrā’īl (the Israelites)! Remember My blessing that I conferred upon you and fulfill the covenant with Me, and I shall fulfill your covenant and have awe of Me alone.” So, what did Israel promise for? They promised to acknowledge Prophet Muhammad (asw). Also, to properly protect the divine values brought by Musa (Moses), and other prophets. Also, to believe and do good acts/deeds (amel) First and foremost among these were tidings of Prophet Muhammad. The coming of the last prophet, which is Prophet Muhammad was heralded in Torah. And a promise has been obtained from them. Janâb-i Haqq tells them to believe in the Quran that Allah sent down to affirm Torah, which is already with them. This is clearly stated in the 41th verse of Surah al-Baqarah. [2:41] “…and do not be the first to deny it…” [2:41] “…and do not exchange My signs for a small price…” [2:41] “…and fear [only] Me….” There is only one fear in Islam. That is fear of Allah. There is also a single type of love. That is love of Allah. We cannot do evil to the entire humanity, why?

Time Stamp: 55:02

For we fear Allah. We love the entire humanity, why? For we love Allah, and they are servants of Allah. However, there is a distinction here. We like the people whom should be liked. These are the people loved by Allah. We do not like the people whom should not be liked. These are the people disliked by Allah. The measure here is given to us by Allah and the Prophet, Quran, and the sunnah (customs). As for the mujtahids, they guide people here. [2:42] “And do not mix the truth with falsehood nor conceal the truth while you know.” That is one of the greatest evil acts. They hid and manipulate the verses that mention Muhammad in Torah. They did the same to the verses in Bible as well. They inflicted the greatest evil act against the humanity so that they may not become Muslims. They did this to their books, their nations, and themselves. They also inflicted this cruelty to the humanity. [2:43] “And be steadfast in namāz (prayer), and pay zakāh (alms-giving) and bow down (rukū) with those who bow down (rukū).” [2:44] “Do you preach righteousness and forget to practice it yourselves…” [2:44] “…although you read the Scripture (Torah)?” O, Israelites! [2:44] “Then will you not reason?” [2:44] “Seek help through patience and namāz (prayer). It is indeed exacting, but not for those who respect Allah.” Allah’s command is not exacting for those who respect Allah. On the contrary, it gives them life, and pleasure. However, the commandments of Islam is too hard for those who do not have respect nor belief towards Allah. For they do not like Allah’s commands. They consider it outdated. Moreover, they use many ill words that suits their own glory but does not suit the glory of Islam. We do think that such actions are not suitable to anyone. As for Islam, it is the embodiment of truth (haqq) and reality. Such ill words are not suitable to any true Muslim. We do not find them suitable to anyone either. Those who turn their back on the life-giving values and envy the life of other creatures are exceptions. [2:46 “[They are those] who bear in mind that they are to meet their Rabb (Lord), and that to Allah they are to return.” You see, they are the people to whom Islam gives pleasure. Those who know that they are to meet Allah. They know they will be called to account. They are the ones who are certain that they will return to Allah’s presence, and they will give an account to Allah. Dearest friends! Al-Quran Al-Karim calls the entire humanity to the true life, to the immortal and blissful life. Al-Quran Al-Karim calls you to Janna (Paradise), and the jamal (beauty) of Allah. Al-Quran Al-Karim had renewed the entire past, and has put forth Allah’s own laws, constitution, and book as ageless reforms. Moreover, Janâb-i Haqq said the following verses. [2:47] “yā-banī ʾisrāʾīla dhkurū niʿmatiya llatī ʾanʿamtu ʿalaykum wa-ʾannī faḍḍaltukum ʿalā l-ʿālamīn” [2:47] “wa-ttaqū yawman lā tajzī nafsun ʿan nafsin shayʾan wa-lā yuqbalu minhā shafāʿatun wa-lā yuʾkhadhu minhā ʿadlun wa-lā hum yunṣarūn” [2:47] “O Children of Isrā’īl (Israel)! Remember My blessing that I conferred upon you and that I gave you excellence over the worlds. On that day I gave them excellence as well. But you did not appreciate.” [2:48] “Guard yourselves against the Day on which no soul will be of help to another. Such a day is ahead of us. That is the day of Qiyamah, the Great Gathering (Mahshar) and Ruz-i Cezâ (the Last Day).

Time Stamp: 1:00:03

No intercession will be accepted either. No ransom taken either. And no help will be given [to them].” Janâb-i Haqq says that such a day is ahead of us. Allah tells us to shield ourselves from that day. Allah warns us about the danger. Those who do not shield themselves from danger are jumping into the danger voluntarily. And says; [2:49] “wa-ʾidh najjaynākum min ʾāli firʿawna yasūmūnakum sūʾa l-ʿadhābi yudhabbiḥūna ʾabnāʾakum wa-yastaḥyūna nisāʾakum wa-fī dhālikum balāʾun min rabbikum ʿaẓīm” Sadaqa Allaah al-‚Azeem (Allah Almighty has spoken the truth). O, Israelites! [2:49] “(Remember) when We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh! They had been inflicting on you grievous torment slaughtering your sons [killing all young boys] and leaving your women alive [in order to use them and insult them]. In all that, there was a great trial from your Rabb (Lord).” Allah saved you from that torment. But the moment Allah saved you and you started looking for idols to worship. You worshipped a calf while they should obey Musa (Moses), and thank Allah. O, Israelites! That is what you are! Come to the truth (haqq). Come to reality. Believe in Prophet Muhammad whom Torah heralded. Believe in Al-Quran Al-Karim that heralded by Musa (Moses), for which you had given a promise. Believe in Islam, and become Muslims. For the religion of all prophets were Islam. Janâb-i Haqq commissioned the prophets respectively. In the end Allah commissioned Prophet Muhammad. He renewed the entire past. He removed the past. He established a new order that shall last until the Last Day (Qiyamah). The name of that order is Islam, and the sharīʿah (canonical law) of Islam. But of course, there are much more. We continue to narrate you the favors Janâb-i Haqq done to Israelites, and how Janâb-i Haqq saved them. Now, we continue our lesson by discovering some verses. Israel is the epithet of Ya’qub (Jacop) Alaihissalam. As you know Ya’qub (Jacop) Alaihissalam is the son of Isaac Alaihissalam. As for Yūsuf (Joseph) Alaihissalam, he is the son of Ya’qub (Jacop) Alaihissalam. Israel is the epithet of Ya’qub (Jacop) Alaihissalam. In Hebrew it means ‘saffatullah – excellent servant’. Now, let us talk about the loyalty of Israelites to the covenant. They had given a promise to Allah. In the Torah that was sent down to Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam their words about this covenant were written. So, what did they say? They promised Allah as regards to becoming Muslims. You see, let us see their loyalty to the covenant. There are Jews and Israelites who became Muslims. Those who did not became Muslims have returned from this covenant. Rehbet. Janâb-i Haqq says, “be in awe of Me [alone]” here. It means ‘to fear’ for the common folk. Rehbet is for the common folk. Ittiqa (avoiding) is for the educated-cultivated class. So, we say that rehbet is the first stage of fear. As for ittiqa, which means ‘avoiding’ it is a higher degree. Muslims should incorporate both rahmat (fear), and ittiqa (avoiding). Janâb-i Haqq wants these attributes in us. Allah tells us to be attributed with these attributes.

Time Stamp: 1:05:03

Good morals and belief (iman) are obligatory attributes in Islam. So, what does Allah say? [2:40] “be in awe of Me [alone]” You should have this fear of Allah and ittiqa (avoiding). In other words, avoid incurring Allah’s wrath. Avoid doing something wrong. Understand Islam correctly, and implement it. And be among the muttaqi (pious) people. Follow the way of ahlul taqwa (pious people). Taqwa (piety) is ordered here. “Or they put forth their own writings as Torah.” “They would do the opposite of what they say.” This is important. They Jews had lost the Torah. Thereupon they started showing their own writings as Torah. Also, they would do the opposite of what they say. Throughout history, many plagues have visited the Jew. With a reason. Why does Allah narrate the past and the Jews to the humanity? O, Muslim! Allah tells you to bear this in mind and do not fall into same mistakes. Besides, Allah tells you to announce these to the humanity so that they may be saved. [17:1] “Glorious is Janâb-i Haqq Who made Muhammad Alaihissalam travel by night from Al-Masjid-ul-Harām to Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsā whose environs We have blessed so that We let him see some of Our signs. Surely, Allah is the All-Hearing, the All- Seeing.” Whoever, or whatever among the creatures are able to see; that ability is given to them by Allah. Allah is All-Knowing. Janâb-i Haqq announces this in the first verses of Surah al-Isra. Let us see what Prophet Muhammad said to a sahabah (companion) who asked him about his judgement as regards to Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsā. “That is the place of gathering and resurrection.” “Go there, and perform namāz (prayer) inside it.” “A namāz (prayer) performed there is equal to 500 namāz (prayer) performed elsewhere.” Then, one of the sahabah (companions) asked what if he is not able to go there. “If you cannot go there and perform namāz (prayer) you should supply them with oil for the oil lamps. Back then they would use olive oil to light the lamps. As for today, the situation of Palestine, its people and Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsā is known by the Islamic world. Israel, who did not even learn a single lesson from its past continue to shed blood. They had massacred the prophets in the past. They had massacred the just âlims and âlims who act upon justice who always spoke the truth. There was some sort of Zion Israel in the past. They continue to shed blood today too. Israel is doing the greatest wrong to itself. Israel thinks they are tormenting Palestine and the Islamic world, but it is actually doing wrong to itself. Allah will take revenge from those who shed blood. The verse that says, “whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land is as if he had slain mankind entirely” was also present in Torah. It was present in Bible too. And now, it is in Al-Quran Al-Karim. The verses says that killing a man is like killing the entire mankind. Also says that saving a life is like saving the life of the entire mankind. That is present in Al-Quran Al-Karim. It was also present in Torah. Had they believed in Torah, would Israel shed blood like this? Would they be the head of Zionism? Could they be Zions, Zionists? Could they be imperialists?

Time Stamp: 1:10:01

Could they put their signature on secret acts that would harm people in secret lodges? Would they participate in secret services in the world? O, mankind! You shall be called to account by Allah. You should abandon killing people. You should renounce from this cruelty. [14:47] “llāha ʿazīzun dhū ntiqām” [14:47] “Surely, Allah is Mighty, the Rabb (Lord) of Retribution.” In the end Allah’s justice shall be manifested completely. You will not get away with what you have done. No one will get away. You see, they did not keep the promise that they gave to Allah. They would contradict themselves. They would shoot themselves in the foot. There are incalculable number of people who are deceived by their games. The number of those who do wrong in this delusion is not a few. They are burning the house they live in, and they are not even aware. They are shooting themselves in the foot and are not aware. They are in such a state. They would warn people but at the same time commit the wrongdoings themselves. They were like that back then, and they are still like that today. This goes for all people who do wrong. The Muslims who deviate from Islam and the Quran are in that mistake as well. Those who serve the tawagit (tyrannical powers) are too in that mistake. Those who collaborate with tyrants are also in the same mistake. A Muslim is sided with the truth (haqq). And he is under the command of the truth (haqq). He cannot support tyrants. Moreover, it is reported by al-Bukhari and al-Muslim that Prophet Muhammad said: A man shall be brought in the Day of Judgement (Qiyamah), and be thrown into the fire. He shall start swirling in the fire like a millstone. The people of Jahannam (Hell) shall circle him. And say, “O, this or that person, wouldn’t you order us to do good things? Wouldn’t you forbid us to do evil?” He shall say yes, and add that he would not do what he ordered to them. “I used to forbid you to do evil, but I used to do evil myself.” In other words, he shall say that he used to do the opposite of what he told them. The âlims, chiefs, and judges should take this hadith into consideration. An âlim, or rather Islamic scholar should act like one. He should do acts/deeds based on true (haqq) ilm (knowledge). He should have belief (iman). Also, the chiefs should act justly. If an âlim, a chief, or a judge does the opposite of what they say, they shall also swirl in that fire. The judges should beware! All men and women should beware! Otherwise, you shall be thrown in Jahannam (Hell) and you shall swirl in that Fire just like horse pulling a millstone. Being an âlim (Islamic scholar), a chief, or a judge will do you no good on that day. O, humanity! Get your mind together! Almighty Allah shows us exemplary lessons in the person of Ali. Just like that, Allah shows us the situation of Israelites so that this may be a lesson for all people. There are lots of other people committing crimes except Israelites. There are lots of them, and whoever has guilt is guilty. Only the ones who nurture the truth shall be saved. Not acting upon the ilm (knowledge) they have is like the password of Israelites, and those who are like them. That is not only the password of Israelites. It is the password of those who are like them too. They could have attained a glorious future had they acknowledged Islam.

They would have blissful lives in this world and in the afterlife. Everyone would have blissful lives, including Israelites. They told they believed in Musa (Moses). They told they believed in Torah. But they acted contrary to Torah. But they acted contrary to Musa (Moses). They did not acknowledge Muhammad which Musa (Moses) heralded. We see an Israel that did not acknowledge Al-Quran Al-Karim. We also see a Christian world that did not acknowledge Al-Quran Al-Karim. There are also those without any religion. All of them are ruining themselves and the humanity. They are not doing any favors. El-birru means goodness. El-birru means abundant goodness. It means plentiful goodness. Belief (iman) in Islam, and all good deeds are el-birru (abundant goodness). Abundant goodness, and plentiful favors is within Islam itself. When a person believes and lives Islam, he attains birr (goodness). That abundant goodness should show itself in worship to Allah and in respecting the rights of relatives and in treating friends in a good manner. You see, the meaning of the word el-birru is abundant and plentiful goodness. It shows itself by means of belief (iman) in Allah, and worship. Allah has chosen Islam as the religion for us. Allah does not accept any other religion. Also, it is Allah who said that. Allah is One. And the religion of the mankind is only Islam. Islam had stated with Adam. Islam came to this day by means of all prophets. Moreover, with Prophet Muhammad the religion continues until the Last Day (Qiyamah). So, it means that it should show itself in belief (iman) and worship to Allah and in respecting the rights of relatives and in treating friends in a good manner. These are the fundamentals. As for the whole of it, that is living Islam completely. That would be believing in Islam as a whole. Patience is enduring pain. We should make our nafs (self) accustomed to patience. Patience means to resist and to bear against. Patience summons divine aid. Patience is the name of bearing the hardships that come while living in the world, and while living the truth. What they do while going on the wrong path is not patience. It is a cruelty upon yourself and others to do wrong and abide by the wrong way. Mankind attains grand manifestations by means of their patience. But of course, the strength of patience is linked to the strength of belief (iman). As for the strength of belief (iman) it is linked to the strength of yaqeen (certainty). As for the strength of yaqeen (certainty)i, it is linked to an intact understanding of Islam and the irshad (guidance) of Islamic sciences. These concepts nurture and strengthen one another. Patience takes its strength from belief (iman). Belief (iman) takes its strength from yaqeen (certainty). As for yaqeen (certainty), it takes its strength from ilm-ul-yaqeen (the knowledge of certainty). Then, ilm-ul-yaqeen (the knowledge of certainty) promotes and becomes ayn-ul-yaqeen (the vision of certainty). From there it promotes to haqq-ul-yaqeen (certainty gained through experience) and keeps on rising. The reason of suffering of people is due to batil (wrong) things gaining a reputation. If all people, the world of humanity is suffering, the first reason for that is batil (wrong) things to gain a reputation. If people give reputation to what is wrong and if cruelty gains reputation and if ignorance and inexpertness gains reputation and if disbelief, and grand theft gains reputation and if they are acknowledged as skills then you will see why people are suffering from all these different things.

Time Stamp: 1:20:22

The reason of this suffering starts with batil (wrong) things gaining reputation. That is what incurs Allah’s wrath. From then on Allah may shake the earth and the skies. For that society has earned the troubles that shall come for them. When batil (wrong) things gain reputation in a society Allah sends many troubles upon that society. They will not be able to elude the troubles. Trouble will come from right and left, from their souls and hearts. They will have stress and their spiritual structure will be disrupted. They will start looking for psychiatrists and doctors. The doctors will be sick as well. The psychiatrists will not be able to cure their advisees for they will also be troubled. There is such an intact and eternal life order now. That order of life is the spiritual structure that Quran introduces. Al-Quran Al-Karim is the abode of life-giving truths. These lessons of ours consist of nothing but the truth of the life-giving light. These lessons are embodiments of the truth (haqq). So, Allah’s wrath is incurred when batil (wrong) things gain reputation. Then, people will be struck by Allah’s wrath. So, if you ask for a cure, my advice is that people should start giving advice to their own nafs (self). Otherwise, the doctors will not be able to cure anyone because they will be patients too. You had become such a grand nation once. Where were you? And what became of you? Just think. Where? Where is that glorious nation, and where are their glorious days? You should only do servitude to Allah. The prophets, the wali (closer) servants, or no one may perform shafa’ah (intercession) without permission of Allah. You should never worship anyone except Allah. I shall repeat due to its importance. You should never worship anyone except Allah. Your Rabb (Lord) is Allah Ta’ala. Allah is One. Allah’s attributes are One. Allah’s actions are One. There cannot be two entities such as Allah. That is impossible, and out of question. Allah is the only sublime entity whose plurality is impossible, and out of question. When you read the 49th to 83rd verses of Surah al-Baqarah and you shall see these clearly. Just like you see these facts in other verses. Dearest friends! Dearest audience! You see, what happened to Nimrod and his modern followers? The good are indeed in Jannat-an Naim. As for the evil people, they are all in Jahannam (Hell). You may read the 13th and 14th verses of Surah al-Infitār. Please, pay attention now. Many sultans and rulers who trusted in their wealth, properties and armies who turned their back on Allah are gone. The rulers that ruled the world are gone. The Nimrud who wanted to burn those who mention Allah is gone. The pharaohs who wanted to oppress the truth (haqq) are gone. The Karun who had sat on enormous treasures is gone. The kisras who were struct by death are gone. The kaisers (emperors) who prostrated and begged when Azrail came are gone. Abū Jahl who tried to murder the beloved of Allah is gone.

Time Stamp: 1:25:02

The tawagit (tyrannical powers) who tried to stop Islam and Quran from being a life order are gone. And there are much more… Now, there is also the mater of bounties given to Israel. Dearest friends! Janâb-i Haqq counts there as well. So, what does Janâb-i Haqq say? At first there is the salvation from Pharaoh. Their freedom, and their salvation from captivity. The strength of the dead children had gathered in Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam. The Pharaoh had killed almost nine hundred and ninety thousand Israelite boys. Killing will not make the enemy gain anything. The strength of all the dead children had gathered in Musa (Moses). Today, Israel sheds blood in Palestine. The strength of all the dead will continue to gather in the people who have belief (iman). In the end, the good shall overwhelm the tyrants. For Janâb-i Haqq does not allow cruelty for too long. The cruel people should never think they are in gain, not even a second. That is why the epithet of the Egyptian rulers is pharaoh. Also, the following are their names. There is Velid ibn Mus’ab . There is Fantus (Mukâtil). There is Mus’ab b. Reyyân. There are also Mugîs and Kabus (Ebu Hayyân). So, with the destruction of the Pharaoh Janâb-i Haqq saved Israel from their cruelty. Janâb-i Haqq saved them from hard labor, tax for the weak. Janâb-i Haqq saved their women and daughters from being in the hands of them. Janâb-i Haqq saved them from abuse, for they abused even the ones in the womb. Janâb-i Haqq saved their boys from certain death. Janâb-i Haqq saved Israel from the tyranny of the Pharaoh. Janâb-i Haqq saved them from the cruelty of the State of Pharaoh. The Rûm kings were also called as kaisers (rulers). They were also referred to as hirakl which meant king. As for Negus, that was the name of the Kings of Abyssinia. They were referred to as Negus The Kings of Yemen were referred to as Tubba.

–          The End        –

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 18

Rulers in Persia were called as Kisra. The rulers in Turks were called as Hakan. As for the Egyptian rulers, they were called as Pharaoh. The rulers who tormented Bani Isra’il were Egyptian Pharaohs. Whoever has cruelty is a pharaoh. That is not special to Egyptians or someone else. A pharaoh is man of cruelty and disbelief (kufr). The word comes from the word ‘ferevan – to simmer with anger’. Janâb-i Haqq saved their boys from being killed. And saved Israel from all sorts of disgraceful things. They were saved. Isaf (help), bahri (river), kuzlan, the sea that swallows, and it is also the name of a city that used to be where Suez is. The Orient Sea which is what we call Red Sea has been divided. And with the demise of the Pharaoh and his people Israel was saved. They were saved by Janâb-i Haqq by means of Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam. Janâb-i Haqq does all these favors to Israel. So, what does Israel do in return of these favors? What did they do in the past? What are they doing now? They had leading role in many ill and evil acts. The good ones are exceptions. He was called to the miqat for forty nights in Mount Sinai. One time, Musa (Moses) performed miqat from the beginning of the month Dhu al-Qa’dah to the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah. The months start from the night of the first day. Divine manifestations are within Divine manifestations are in sahar and fecir (dawn). Düzenlenecek! The path of the people of tariqah, and their trial came from here. Such a pity that in this short period of time the tribe of Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam worshipped a calf. In other words, when Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam was in Mount Sinai Israelites immediately converterd to idolatry until their Prophet came back from Mount Sinai even though Harun (Aaron) Alaihissalam was in them. They worshipped a calf. And their salvation started when Yūsuf (Joseph) Alaihissalam entered Egypt.. and completed when Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam got out of Egypt. It is reported that this was 400 years. The following are from the lineage of Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam. Musai bn Imran, bin Yasir, bin Kays, bin Lev-i ,bin Ya’qub (Jacop), bin Ishak (Isaac), bin Ibrahim (Abraham) The fourth is that they were given Torah, and Furqan. The sharī (canonical) decrees. There are also the miracles of the staff of moses, the miracle of al-Yad al-Bayda and miracle of manna which gives strength and power when eaten. There are miracles like miracle of selvā bird, and rulership. You should kill your nafs (self). The acceptance of their repentances. The ‚bounty of city‘ in the 58th verse of al-Baqarah. Their repentance, and their chastenment. Loyalty to Bâri-i Ta’ala. It is reminded to them that the ‚bounty of city‘ in the 58th verse of al-Baqarah.. was not given to them in the beginning but given as divine bounty as a result of their chastenment. The ‚bounty of city‘ in the 58th verse of al-Baqarah was not given to them in the beginning, but when? It was given as a divine bounty as a result of their repentance and chastenment. The occupancy (tasarruf) of successorship (vekillik) is a divine favor given after getting better. In other words, when things get better, and when a nation educates its morals and go towards the truth (haqq), they will attain blessings again. At this time, the salvation of Islamic world is possible with returning to the life-giving divine order and embracing Quran and sunnah (customs).

The harm of polytheism (shirk) concerns the nation. Also, the damage in the nation harms individuals. Worshipping the calf caused a great disturbance and disorder in the tribe of Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam. That disorder caused many people to die in order to be restored. It caused loss of life. This is how the trouble was removed. The loss of life occured by means of suicides and murders. The majority of the mufassirs have this view. Sāmirī had made a calf out of gold. Then he said Musa (Moses) went to search for this idol and deceived people into worshipping it. Thus, disorder and ingratitude had begun. Harun (Aaron) Alaihissalam could not prevent this from happening. They waited for Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam to return. Moreover, they ordered the ones who kept silent against the idolaters to themselves, for they said there is no need to do anything, So, it means that the guilt belongs to those who keep silent as much as the idolaters who worship the calf. He is utterly guilty if his heart shows consent to that idolatry. Those who repent were killing those who did not. The civil war ended with victory, but around seventy thousand people were killed. Tawbah (repentance) is an abstract concept, it is the name of remorse. Save your lives from blood and grief with repentance (tawbah). You should restrain your nafs (self) from lusts. You should abstain. Sensual desires are what lead you to polytheism (shirk). We are informed of this by means of written text. Bāriʾmeans the Creator who is flawless and free from defects. It is a rather spesific word than al-ḵāliq – the Creator. Bāriʾis a name of Almighty Allah. Allah is the Creator who is flawless and free from defects. Also, the name al-Bāriʾis is a rather spesific name than al-ḵāliq – the Creator. The word furqan also incorporates meanings such as qudrah (omnipotence), domination, and government. It actually means the one who distinguishes between haqq (truth) and batil (wrong). But it has such meanings as well. [2:55] “We will not believe you until we see Allah visibly,” they said. Who are they? They are, again, the Israelites. They had left Musa (Moses) in a difficult situation. So, what happened next? So, a thunderbolt struck them while they were looking on. Thunderbolts began pouring down. They were resurrected after they died. It was as if they experienced ‘ba’sü ba’del mevt – resurrection after death’. There was trembling and rattling, the earth was shaking. It was like their waists were being broken. As they were destroyed Musa (Moses) started sobbing, and he prayed. Then they resurrected. There were 70 of them. Just like it was mentioned in the 155th verse of Surah al-A’raf. [7:155] “wa-khtāra mūsā qawmahū sabʿīna rajulan li-mīqātinā fa-lammā ʾakhadhathumu r-rajfatu.” [7:155] “Moses chose seventy men.” They wanted to meet and speak with Allah (c.c.). When they said, ‘O Moses, we will not believe you until we see Allah visibly,’ the earthquate had begun. The earth was shaking. Tur-i Sina was shaking. Musa (Moses) started begging. [7:155] “You could have destroyed them earlier, and me too. Would You destroy us for what the foolish among them have done? This is nothing but a trial from You. You send astray whom You will and guide whom You will,” he said, and begged. [7:155] “rabbiʾanta waliyyunā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-ʾanta khayru l-ghāfirīn” Then, Allah removed the disasters.

The word “khushū” means -to obey and humility. It means bowing down before Allah, and surrender completely to Allah. It means being in tawakkul (trust in Allah). tam tevekkülde bulunmak, That is the duty of every Muslim, and every person. Yet the humanity does such grand wrong things. Never worship to nabis (prophets) or wali people. As for shafa’ah (intercession), it happens with permission of Allah. The duty of the nabis (prophets) are clear. They call you to Allah, and the sharīʿah (canonical law). As for wali (closer) servants, they do not call you to themselves. They call people to Allah, and the Prophet. As for shafa’ah (intercession), it happens with permission of Allah. Now, those who worship anbiyāʼ (prophets) and awliyā (Islamic saints) should listen closely. In Islam there is no such thing as people of anbiyāʼ or awliyā. In Islam, there are the divine values that Prophet introduced. Those who abide by them well, and earn affection of Allah and those who do servitude to Allah well have become wali (closer) people. As a result of your servitude, you shall continue on this path. You cannot abandon Allah and worship a nabi (prophet) or wali. What would happen if you do? In that case, the Muslims will fall into the wrong that others had fell. The Budists and Hindus ae in that situation. That situation is also in the west, and other places. However, it is not present in Islam. And it should not be. Resurrection is mentioned in Surah al-Baqarah in five verses. These verses that mention resurrection are the 56th, 73rd, 243rd, 259th, and 260th verses. The death and resurrection occurence was narrated in the 259th verse. The parable of Uzair Alaihissalam and the bird pieces that resurrect and fly was narrated in the 260th verse. The incident where unsolved murder victim was struck with a piece of the baqarah calf, and got resurrected is narrated in the 73rd verse. The situation of the ones who died after thunderbolt seized them. That happened after they said they will not believe unless they see Allah. That incident was mentioned in the 55th and 56th verses. Now, as regards to the exegesis of the 42nd verse of al-Baqarah, you may read the 79th verse of al-Baqarah, 46th verse of al-Nisa and the 13rd and 42nd verses of al-Maidah. You should never confuse what is right (haqq), and what is wrong (batil). [2:79] “So, woe to those who write the Book with their hands and then say, ‘This is from Allah’.” They distorted the book. They had changed the places of the words. These are the treasons they had done on Torah and Bible. No one could touch a single dot within Al-Quran Al-Karim. And no one shall touch it. For it is the last book. It is a book that came with a sharīʿah (canonical law) that is ages ahead of all ages. They distorted the words. Then their hearts had become calcified. Then, they were cursed. Janâb-i Haqq is warning the Muslims. About what they did to Torah and Bible. Tevrât’a onlar Then what happened to them? You must protect your religion, and your book which is Quran. You must never betray it. Those who betray Quran shall themselves be ruined. They have no chance of distorting Quran. They have forgotten about the truth (haqq). Then, they betrayed it. That is why dearest friends one of the prayers of Musa (Moses) Alaihissalam is as follows. [7:151] “qāla rabbi ghfir lī wa-li-ʾakhī wa-ʾadkhilnā fī raḥmatika wa-ʾanta ʾarḥamu r-rāḥimīn.” [7:155] “ʾanta waliyyunā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-ʾanta khayru l-ghāfirīn”
