Turkish English Tafsir Lesson 171-174

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 171

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

That’s why right knowledge is out there, and the sources of Ahlus-Sunnah are truly intact. Al-Quran Al-Karim will not be distorted until the Last Day. The right and real understanding of Al-Quran Al-Karim is manifest. Even though there are some who oppose to Ahlus-Sunnah here and here, it is clear that Ummah-i Muhammad will not be affected much by them, and we have to work. We need to work well, and put our effort in spreading the truth. We need to work hard, and spread the truth, and this is the way of endearing each other. Love means being beneficial to each other. You are not beneficial to anyone, and you love people, this is not good either. When I say “I love you people very much,” I need to present you the truths to the extent of my ability for your benefit. I have to deem you worthy of the beauties that I deem myself worthy. I also have to my utmost in order to protect you from the things which I consider harmful for myself and you. Even if your ability is as limited as that of an ant, do your duty. What should you do? You should try to do your duty. That is, you need to do as much as you can.

See, tayammum is to be practiced when you can’t find any water as explained. Our Almighty Rabb wants to make life easier for us servants (qul). We don’t want to neglect our respect, love, and obedience to Allah not for a single second. We always try to follow Allah’s rules, and in order for us to prove this, we have the option to do tayammum when we can’t find water. We’ll do tayammum, and then worship.

In the verse, the word مِّنْهُ is used for tayammum. It is said that when the word مِّنْهُ is an iptida, it is sufficient when hands touch clean earth. That is, when the word مِّنْهُ is considered to mean iptida. That is the understanding of iptida that the Hanafite mujtahids book from here. It is said that when the مِنْ in the word مِّنْهُ is an iptida, touching clean earth with hands is enough. This is the opinion of the Hanafite mujtahids, and Hanafite Islamic scholars (âlim). However, it is said that some of it should be wiped over hands, face, and arms when it is teb’iz. That is the view of Imam al-Shafi’i. He says the مِنْ in the word مِّنْهُ means teb’iz, and he says that is necessary to wipe some of it over the hands, face, and arms. This is the view of Imam al-Shafi’i. May Allah bestow rahmat (mercy) upon them all.

The divine offers are not hardships, rather they are blessings. Whatever Allah has offered to the servants (qul) in Islam are sacred and holy bounties for they are the commands of the Almighty. They are not hardships at all, rather they are blessings. They are for nothing other than happiness in life. The more the servants (qul) fulfil the divine commands the more life they will find, and life will become easier for them, and they will live a blissful life. Because these are all nimat. So, what is nimat? Nimat is the holy blessings that adorn you with beneficial things and protect you from all that is harmful. Every command of Islam is a nimat. Your mind may or may not comprehend it, that is different. However, shouldn’t you know that Allah is All-Knowing, and that Allah does everything in the best possible manner?

Besides, what is left when you know that Islam is an offer of Allah. What will be left to misunderstand? Allah is All-Knowing, and has made everything well, and offered all that is good to the servant (qul) so that they may happy. So, what is the duty that befalls on you and me? It is to understand those holy commands well, learn them well, implement them well, and do the necessity of worship of obedience. This is why the divine offers are not hardships, rather they are nimat, bear this in mind!

Time Stamp: 5:55

The Most Exalted, Peerless, our Rabb, Almighty Allah (c.c.) says the following in the 7th verse of Surah al-Ibrahim [14]:

The hodja is reciting a part of the verse.

“If you are grateful, I will surely increase my bounty on you”

See, Allah says, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase my bounty on you.” That is, if you are grateful, the bounties will be increased, and you will be given more. Light upon light, bounty upon bounty, life upon life, bliss upon bliss, and paradise upon paradise. Is there such a thing as paradise upon paradise? Let us see what is said in the 46th verse of Surah al-Rahman.

The hodja is reciting a part of the verse.

“For him who fears standing before his Rabb, are two gardens (jannah),” says the verse. There are such gardens (jannah) that there are paradises (jannah) that are wider than the heavens and the earth. There are such paradises (jannah) that they are wider than the width of the heavens. They are endless and boundless, and this is why we narrate how beautiful they are, but they are even more beautiful than what we narrate. Allah’s commands are more beautiful than what we narrate, they are unique and beautiful. This is why Janâb-i Haqq said that, “I will increase, if you show shukr (gratitude).” So, what is shukr (gratitude)? First, your need to have a real faith (iman). And you need to have good deeds in order to fulfil shukr (gratitude). You need morality (akhlaq), and be just. You also need zuhd (detachment) and taqwa (piety). The gates of marifat will open once you have established these properly. And then, the graces will start to penetrate you. The divine grace and divine manifestations will penetrate you, and admit you into nūr (light). Islam prepares you so that you belong in Janna (Paradise). It is our obligation to be good Muslims. We shall supplicate to our Rabb day and night, and we shall work. That is why it is said that namāz (prayer) is servitude to Almighty Allah, which is speaking to Allah, and being received into Allah’s presence. Allah receives you into Allah’s presence. You know what they say when a statesman receives a minister into the presence or something like that. Almighty Allah receives the servant (qul) into Allah’s presence in the five times of daily namāz (prayer), and the servant (qul) stands in the presence and is ready for servitude, and speaks with his Rabb. Why and how does he speak? Well, he recites the Quran. Isn’t the Quran utterances of Allah? The servant (qul) worships Allah with Allah’s own words. He stands respectfully by putting one hand above the other, and speaks by reciting the Quran. A person who recites the Quran is one who speaks with Allah. As for those who listen to Quran, they are those who listen to Allah. Get your head straight! Namāz (prayer) is a miʿraj (journey). A person must be conscious, and clean inside and outside. This is because we come into the presence of Allah, and because we stand in the presence. A person who performs namāz (prayer) should endeavour to stand in the presence by being clean and pure inside and outside. He may not do this the first time or the next, but one day he will have done it perfectly, and insha ‘Allah he will receive reward. He will be free of debt, and Allah Ta’ala will forgive his flaws, and considers your namāz (prayer) a real one, and admits you among the abid (devout) and zahid (ascetic) servants (qul). Allah’s mercy is endless and boundless, as long as you endeavour, be sincere, and act with pure love (ihlas).

Time Stamp: 10:50

Moreover, in the 185th verse of Surah Ali Imran [3], “You will be paid your full rewards.” Allah likes to give.

My beloved friend!

Allah likes to give, bear this in mind! As long as you be a servant (qul)… Let’s say you tried to buy a palace in the Janna (Paradise), and give this world and others as payment. You will not be able to buy a single room in Janna (Paradise). You can’t even afford a single scarf for the ladies. You will not be able to buy a pearl from the pearls of that place. Even if you give all the jawhar (precious stones) of the world… The life there is immortal. Blissful life is there. How does Allah give these to you? Gives you out of Allah’s grace. Allah made earning faith (iman) and being Muslim means but you are not given those because you earn them or you will earn them.

You need to obey Allah, and follow Allah’s commands with your faith (iman) as a Muslim. It is by using your power you were given in Allah’s way that Allah gives you the Janna (Paradise) out of Allah’s grace, and bestows upon you everlasting and endless bounties. These are not things you or me can earn. We need to do our duties as servants (qul). It is Allah who gave us power, and everything. Allah graces us when we use what is given to us in Allah’s way. “You have humbly used what I have given you for Me. And here is my Janna (Paradise) for you,” says Janâb-i Haqq, and gives Allah’s Jamal (Beauty). This way you reach the ultimate meeting, and become recipient of everlasting bounty, and Allah gives you immortality. Yes, we are mortals, but Allah sustains us forever. See, we are mortals, but makes us immortal, and gives us everlasting life. That is, does not kill us and makes us happy. Allah has removed sadness and sorrow, and filled Janna (Paradise) to brim with pleasures and joys and said, “Earn this place,” the world is a place to earn, and a field of test. Yes, this is the situation, may Janâb-i Haqq make us all hear well, listen well, understand well. Always ask for guidance (hidayat) from Allah. Always ask for Allah’s grace, generosity, and companionship. Ask everything from Allah. Ask for Allah’s divine assistance. Always ask from Allah. Use your head, and ask from Allah. Don’t you ever leave Allah’s door of rahmat (mercy), and only bow down before your Rabb. Extend your heart to Allah as if you are a beggar. Supplicate by saying, “I am your servant (qul). I am in need of you. I am forever in need of you.”

Dearest friends!

So, it means that none of the rewards go in vain. They will be given in full, and more, and much more. The greatest bounty (nimat) and bliss is shukr (gratitude). Giving thanks is equal to being grateful. See, those who are grateful know the favours of Allah. Allah’s favours are endless and boundless, and have no end. Besides, doesn’t whatever we have in our body and soul belong to Allah? Is it not Allah who gave them to us? Isn’t all that we eat and drink belong to Allah?

Time Stamp: 15:20

That said, if you don’t show gratitude then you can’t give thanks to Allah. Can one not give thanks to Allah? Allah introduced Allah to us as Most Gracious (Rahman) and Most Merciful (Rahim). Allah manifested with the rahmat (mercy), perpetual rahmat (mercy). So, should we not say an “Alhamdulillah” at the very least against all these blessings and mercy (rahmat)? That is why in the second verse of Surah al-Fatihah [1] is written, “All praise belongs to Allah, Rabb of all the worlds,” Allah is Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim. So, what do we do in return of all these favours Allah has done for us, and for the beginningless (azali) and endless (abadi) mercy (rahmat) of Allah? We meet Allah, and without sense of gratitude, we give thanks with every fibre of our beings. With what? We give thanks by knowing Allah, having faith (iman), and fulfilling all commands of Islam. We stand respectfully, and recite Fatihah al-Sharif in each rakʿah. Let us see its contents, we have already explained Surah al-Fatihah in our first lectures. If you go back, you will have remembered it and learned it well, insha ‘Allah. Let us go back to the first lectures, and listen well. Especially those who forget should go back right now, and remember that verse. Allah has given endless and boundless favours, should we not say “Alhamdulillah,” and be good Muslims? Praising Allah is equal to being a good Muslim. That is, to know Islam, to live it, and to not forget Allah’s command. These are the essence of praise, and gratitude (shukr), dhikr (remembrance), muhabbat (love).

A person will have deceived himself when he does not do these. He may give thanks verbally, but where is his heart? Where are his physical worships? Where is his spiritual and physical service? You soul is in debt to Allah, and your heart, and your entire body. Aren’t they all in a debt of service to Allah? Allah has informed about how to fully repay these debts in all offers and provisions. Namāz (prayer) is a worship to Allah that is done physically, spiritually, with the heart, tongue, body and the soul. As for fasting, it is a spiritual and physical worship. And hajj (pilgrimage) is a financial, spiritual, and physical worship. As for zakāt (poor-dues) it is financial, but purifies the souls. It makes a bridge between the world and hereafter, to Janna (Paradise). And it meets all social needs in the world, and closes the gap between the poor and the rich, and establishes justice, and meets the social needs. You see, you can’t list all their beauties and benefits simply by counting them, we cannot. That is why Janâb-i Haqq says the following in the 285thverse of Surah al-Baqarah [2].

The hodja is reciting a part of the verse.

Do you see, “We seek forgiveness, and towards You is the return,” bear this in mind!

The hodja is reciting a part of the verse.

“We hear and obeyed. Forgive us, and towards You is the return.”

Time Stamp: 20:10

We all came from Allah, and we will go to Allah. We will answer to Allah. We will gather in the great gathering (mahshar). Besides, our return is to Allah, not anywhere else. Let us supplicate to Allah so that we may get our heads straight. Let us ask for Allah’s guidance (hidayat), and assistance. Now, the covenant, as you know we have mentioned the covenant verses. On the night of Akaba, in bayʻat ar-riḍwān, this pledge with our Prophet, an agreement is ascribed to Allah. Pay attention. It is said in Al-Quran Al-Karim that obedience to the Prophet is obedience to Allah. That is, do not forget that a pledge or promise given to the Prophet, and following him is equal to the promise given to Allah, and submission to Allah! For the Prophet (asw) is the Messenger of Allah who conveys the commands he receive from Allah. And don’t forget that you don’t obey Allah Ta’ala when you don’t obey him! For denying an envoy is equal to denying the one who sent him. Don’t you ever forget this!

That’s why in the 10th verse of Surah al-Fath, an allegiance is mentioned.

The hodja is reciting the 10th verse of Surah al-Fath.

What is that allegiance? See, “Actually, they swear allegiance to Allah.”

To you, the Glorious Prophet! O, glorious Muhammad (asw). Indeed, those who swear allegiance to you, actually swear allegiance to Allah.

This is an agreement where you agree with Muhammad, and accept the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad, and that Islam is the right (haqq) religion, and that there is no god other than Allah; you also believe in the laws of Islam which Allah set forth from a to z. This becomes an agreement the moment you accept these, bear this in mind! Do not ever return from this promise of yours. Once you say you are a Muslim, become a Muslim forever and ever. Even if they tear you apart, and slice you into pieces, don’t you ever make concessions to your faith (iman) and Islam. When you spend one life in the way of Allah – it is Allah who will give you millions of lives forever. Don’t you ever return from your promise, and adhere to your allegiance.

Once you say, “lā ʾilāhe ʾillāllah muḥammadun rasūlullah,” this word includes all covenants of Islam. This is what we call, al-īmān al-ijmalī (faith in general). So, adhere to this agreement, and fulfil the necessities of the religion, and do not neglect. See, Surah al-Fatihah incorporates the creation of the universe and the creation of Adam as well! This is actually a really fine matter.

The hodja is reciting the 5th verse of Surah al-Fatihah [1].

This is the obedience, faith (iman), and allegiance of all Muslims. This is a beginningless (azali) covenant. What did we say in the eternal covenant to Allah?

The hodja is reciting a part of the 172nd verse of Surah al-A’raf.

Do you know what we said in the 172nd verse of Surah al-A’raf? We said, “My Allah! We only we only worship you. We ask all types of help only from you.”

You see, servitude comes first, and help comes later.

Time Stamp: 25:00

You see, we need to do all types of servitude to Allah, and ask for all types of help from Allah. What did we say to Allah in bezm âlem (the realm of spirits) and qalu bala? We made an agreement with Allah, and we gave a promise to Janâb-i Haqq. Our promise was reminded to us when Prophet Muhammad, and was placed before us.

Remember when Janâb-i Haqq took a promise from you when you were created in azal (past-eternity). An agreement was made with Allah. We only worship You, and we only seek Your help.

The hodja is reciting a part of the 172nd verse of Surah al-A’raf.

“Am I your Rabb,” when this was said we said the following.

The hodja is reciting a part of the 172nd verse of Surah al-A’raf. There are those who did not forget this promise, and still remember today. Just like there are those who forgot, those who are stuck in polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), and side against Islam; there are those who remember their promises, who don’t forget at all and will never forget forever. There are those who remember that promise every time they recite the kalima shadada and every time they recite tawhid (monotheism). There are blissful (bahtiyar) people who remember their promise, and they will never forget their promise.

There are such fortunate people. May Allah make us among them.

Dearest friends!

So, let us not forget this! By incorporating the creation of the universe, and the creation of Adam; Surah al-Fatihah says: “We worship only You, and we only turn for help to You.”

The hodja is reciting the 5th verse of Surah al-Fatihah.

This is a beginningless (azali) agreement, and Muslim’s obedience, faith (iman), and allegiance. With whom was this agreement made? Don’t forget! This is was made with Allah (c.c.). We said, “You are our Rabb,” and what did we do once we came to earth? We clearly showed that we were Muslims, and we said, “We are Muslims.” We clearly showed that we did not return from our promise, and today, being a Muslim means forever keeping your word. As for those who break their words, their situation is very dangerous, and terrible fates are waiting them. See, not being a Muslim means breaking your word, all dangers are here.

“Am I not your Rabb?”

“Yes,” they said, “You are our Rabb.”

This is Allah’s sharia (law). It is complete with scholarly and juridical documents, and tawhid (monotheism). Pay attention to this part! This agreement is Allah’s sharia (law). With scholarly and juridical documents, it is the entirety of tawhid (monotheism) and sharia (law). Don’t you ever approach not even one of these commands that Allah brought forth with suspicion, rather confirm all of them. And if you are in doubt regarding the divine commands, the juridical rules that the Law-Maker brought forth, then you will ruin your faith (iman). Don’t you ever do that. Be pleased with death but don’t you ever ruin your faith (iman), do not show consent to your faith (iman) being harmed.

Alaihissalatu wassalam is the imam (leader) of the Prophets. He is Sultan al-Anbiya, Sertac al-Anbiya. He is the crown jewel of all awliya. That glorious Muhammad!

The hodja is reciting the 6th verse of Surah al-Azhab [33].

What is being said here?

Says, “Muhammad is more for the believers than their lives.” Almighty Allah personally says that it is necessary to love Prophet Muhammad more than your life.” As it is necessary to love Muhammad more than your life, it is clear that it is necessary to do this for Allah, for it is Allah who commands it. For Allah says, “You shall love My Beloved Muhammad more than your life.”

Time Stamp: 30:00

Muhammad is Allah’s Beloved, and we need to love him more than our lives for Allah. That is what Janâb-i Haqq says. Says, “وَأَزْوَاجُهُ”.

Muhammad’s wives are the mothers of Ummah-i Muhammad. They are the mothers of entire humanity. Muhammad’s wives, azwaj mutaharrat,   raḍiya ’llāhu ‘an-hā. It is said that the wives of our Prophet are the mothers of all people, and they are more to us than our own mothers. Every mother is most important, superior, and most valuable. In Islam, parents are invaluable. One can’t even say as much as an ‘uff’ to the parents, you can’t frown upon them, and you speak to them using kindest and best words. Therefore, Prophet Muhammad’s wives are out mothers, and more than our mothers. The attentions have been drawn to this matter as well.

May Janâb-i Haqq make us all understand and listen Al-Quran Al-Karim well, and become good servants (qul) to Allah. May Janâb-i Haqq make us become a real ummah (people) to Muhammad Mustafa (asw). May Janâb-i Haqq make us follow the principles he brought, and become good followers to Allah’s Beloved Muhammad. May Janâb-i Haqq make us stand against the wrong (bātil), and live the truth forever, and make us happy with it, and make us find the real life.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 172

On the 8th to 14th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The hodja is reciting the 8th, 9th, and 10th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“O, you who have faith (iman)! Be maintainers of truth for Allah, and be just witnesses.” You see, our dearest friends! Almighty Allah wants justice in the entire universe.

“Do not let your hatred against a people lead you to injustice. Be just, it is nearer to the piety (taqwa). Fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of your doings. Allah has promised those who have faith (iman) and do good deeds (amal-e-saleh): ‘For them there is forgiveness, and a great reward.’ And for those who disbelieve and deny Our signs (ayat),” meaning those who reject the verses or signs (ayat), “those are the inmates of Jahannam (Hell).”

See, Allah has promises here. Allah promises the believers! But what? Allah promises forgiveness and a great reward. As for those who deny Allah’s verses/signs (ayat), and those who reject them – Allah surely promises them the punishment of Jahannam (Hell). See, the waʿad (promises) and wa’īd (threats) continue.

The hodja is reciting the 11th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“O, you who have faith (iman)! Remember Allah’s blessing on you when a people tried to extend their hands towards you (to violate you), and Allah restrained their hands from you. Fear Allah. And let the believers put their trust in Allah (tawakkul),” let them trust Allah and seek shelter in Allah. Janâb-i Haqq says, “My servants (qul), put your trust in Me.” See, that is putting your trust (tawakkul) in Allah by doing your duty, and entering the protection of Allah, and being in the protection of Allah.

The hodja is reciting the 12th and 13th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Time Stamp: 5:25

What does Janâb-i Haqq do to the world? Gives examples. Gives the Children of Israel as example here, and says, “Allah took a covenant from the Children of Israel. We had appointed among them twelve chiefs. Allah had said, ‘Indeed, I am with you as long as you establish the namāz (prayer) properly, and give the zakat (poor-dues), and you believe in My Messenger, and you assist them, and you spend your good in Allah’s way goodly. (As long as you do these), I will surely cover your sins, and admit you into gardens (jannah) with streams running under them. But whoever among you disbelieves after that,” and falls into denial, disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), or corruption, “has certainly strayed from the straight path.”

“We cursed them and hardened their hearts for they broke their covenant.”

You see the curse that came here when one does not fulfil the promise given to Allah. Allah’s curse hardened their hearts and started the journey to the worse.

“They distort the words from their places,” they were distorting the Torah, and giving it false meanings.

“They have forgotten to take a part of what they were reminded. You will always see treachery from them, except for a few.”

See, Janâb-i Haqq narrates the parable of Bani Isra’il, who are given as an example here. Says that except for a few among them, you will always see treachery from them.

Says, “You forgive them still, and overlook,” but who is addressed here? Well, on that day these were being said to Prophet Muhammad. See, the qualities of Ummah-i Muhammad are superior until the Last Day. The only friendly people in the world are Ummah-i Muhammad. For Allah loves those who behave good. That said, Muslims are obliged to bear these attributes as all that is beautiful is in Islam.

Janâb-i Haqq also gives an example with regards to the Christians, and says:

The hodja is reciting the 14th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says about those who say, “We are Christians, we are Nasranis.”

“We took a pledge from those who say, ‘We are Christians,’ as well, but they forgot most of what they were reminded,” meaning the Nasrani or Christians forgot the promise they had given, and did not fulfil it. “So, We stirred up enmity and hatred amongst them that shall last until the Last Day.”

You see, a type of trouble is ready in return of every sin and every crime committed. What we see here is that enmity and hatred occurred among them.

“Soon, Allah will inform them of what they have been doing.”

You see, my dearest friends!

Al-Quran Al-Karim sheds light, and announces the truths so that mankind may derive lessons, and not repeat the mistakes that were made in history. Today, renounce from every evil deed you have done. May your future be bright, and happy; this is why Allah preaches admonition to the worlds with the Quran. Allah is giving advice, and life. Allah presents the life-giving lessons to mankind with Islam and the Quran.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 173

On the 15th to 19th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Astaizu billah.

The hodja is reciting the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Almighty Rabb says, “O, ahlul kitab!” That is, Janâb-i Haqq specially addresses the Jews and the Christians. “Clarify much of what you used to hide from the book.” You see, directly tells them to explain the Torah correctly, and explain the Bible correctly. Muhammad is written, but you hide it. You hide many truths. “Our Messenger came to you, excusing many.” That is, Prophet Muhammad came.” Besides, “Indeed there has come to you a nūr (light), and a clear Book.” That is, Al-Quran Al-Karim came, and the nūr (light) came which is Islam. Al-Quran Al-Karim is a nūr al-mubīn (distinguishing light), a clear light. “Allah guides those who abide by Allah’s pleasure (riza) with that Book to the ways of peace, and brings them out to light from the darknesses, and guides them to the way that leads straight to Allah, which is sirat al-mustaqim (the straight path).” That is, Islam itself. Or, the way of Islam.

“Surely, those who said, ‘Allah is the Isa Messiah, son of Maryam,’ have become disbelievers (kāfir),” says Almighty Allah. Pay attention! “Say, ‘Who can prevent Allah had Allah wish to destroy Isa Messiah, his mother, and everyone on the earth?’.” Say this to them, says Allah. “The kingdom of the heavens and the earth belong and everything in between belong only to Allah.” Isa (Jesus) is a servant (qul) of Allah, and son of Maryam. Allah is the creator of all the worlds, and it is Allah who created Isa (Jesus) and all Prophets. Isa (Jesus) is son of Maryam. “Allah creates whatever Allah wishes, and Allah is al-Qadir (All-Powerful) over all things.”

“The Jews and the Christians say, ‘We are Allah’s children, and beloved ones.’.” You see, what did the Jews and the Christians say? They say, “We are Allah’s children, and beloved ones.” “Say, ‘Then why does Allah punish you for your sins?’ Say this to them, for many disasters visited them because of their sins. Allah punishes them, but why?

Time Stamp: 5:00

“No, you are human beings from among those Allah created.” See, it is Allah who says, “O, the Jews and the Christians!” “You are servants (qul) of Allah, from among those Allah created. That is, you are human beings, you can’t be Allah’s children.” “And you need to be true Muslims in order to be a friendly servant (awliya), and to be Allah’s beloved ones. “Allah forgives whom Allah wills, and punishes whom Allah wills.” Allah knows best whom to forgive and whom to punish. It is Allah who knows what punishment is to be given against every crime. “The kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between belongs to Allah. And to Allah is the final return.”

The hodja is reciting the 19th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“O, ahlul kitāb!” O, the Jews and the Christians. “Our Messenger (Muhammad) has come to you after an interval of cessation of the Messengers, and revealed the truths lest you say on the Last Day, ‘A bearer of good news and a warner has not come to us.’ Surely, a bearer of good news and a warner has come to you.” And that is Prophet Muhammad, who is a Prophet of Mercy upon all the worlds. “Allah is al-Qadir (All-Powerful) over everything.” Muhammad is the Prophet who was sent to all humanity, all eras, and all nations.

Insha ‘Allah we will continue to present you the discovery and notes of these verses in the next chapter. And we will also try to make them clear by explaining them so that you may understand them better easily.

–          The End        –

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 174

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Dearest listeners!

In the 135th verse of Surah al-Nisa [4], “Observe justice even if it is against yourself, your parents, or your relatives,” says Janâb-i Haqq. Says, “Be true witnesses whether it is someone rich or poor, and don’t deviate from justice.” The religion of Islam is a complete divine justice. It does not let anyone cheat anyone. It is a complete environment of trust, a complete social justice, and a complete peace. The entire humanity will find peace when Islam becomes predominant in the world the way Almighty Allah wants, and then all creatures in the heavens and the earth will find peace, and the ecosystem will never be distorted. True science will advance rapidly, and we will make discoveries after discoveries. The discoveries in the heavens and the earth, and the right and real science will be brought for the better good of humanity.

It is not like one side will eat all they want and others will look at them hungrily and miserably, because Islam will establish justice. One side has eaten too much and their bellies are about to explode while the others grow pale because they don’t have enough vitamins in their bloodstreams, they don’t have enough blook in their system, and they have grown pale. See, it is Holy Islam will place all innocent, poor and deserted people along with orphans under its wings of mercy, and embrace them, and become their abode and shelter. Islam does not let anybody cheat anybody off their rights. It does not let anyone exploit the world, rather ensures justice. He who lives it lives well, and dies well; resurrects and comes to the gathering (mahshar) with a pure and clean face and heart. Islam is a nūr (light), for it is a reality (haqiqa). You see, we are talking about the verses instead of the sayings of our fathers, ancestors, leaders, or this and that person. We are not among those people who speak what they say. We are only trying to say what Allah says, what Prophet Muhammad says, what Al-Quran Al-Karim, Sunnah, whole community consensus (ijmā al-ummah), analogical reasoning of the jurists (qiyās-i fuqahā), our mujtahids, and grand Islamic scholars (âlims) say. We are trying to spread (tabligh) them. We are trying to interpret Allah’s teachings (irshad). If everybody simply advocated what their leader or pioneer said, and others came forth and spread the teaching of this and that person, then do you know what will happen when someone enters between the servant (qul) and Allah? The divine order that Allah brought forth will disappear. The real life would be distorted. The real justice would be distorted. The social balance and order would be distorted. Had people abided by real science, and the rights and realities Allah brought forth, then we say that the soul of the Quran and the soul of the Islam are universal souls that incorporate all human consciences. The heart of Islam incorporates all hearts. It does not discriminate. It encompasses all souls, and does not make a distinction between them. The faith (iman) of Islam is the real faith (iman). It summons all faiths to itself. It calls those disbelieve to faith (iman), to the rights (haqq) and the realities (haqiqa) in order to save them. That is why Islam itself is science, real faith (iman), along with marifat, nur (light), and reality (haqiqa).

The sharia (law) of Islam that the Law-Maker brought forth is the laws and rules of Allah.

“Observe domestic and international politics.” Well, the politics in Islam are that of Allah, and they are for the better good of humanity. Otherwise, tyrannical politics have all types of cheat, robbery, theft, mafia, and terror. That kind of politics can only be a vile and humiliating politics. So, what is divine politics? Well, it is just, and it is for the better good of everyone. This is just politics we’re talking about, and its opposite is tyrannical politics. The political setting in Islam is for finding what is best for the better good of humanity and do it. It is to find what is most beneficial. The entirety of Islam is divine politics. They say Islam does not get involved with politics. Yes, it does not meddle in vile politics, but it is divine politics. The religion of Islam is Allah’s politics. What does Islam do to vile politics? It stands against it. Islam itself is a just politics, social justice, pace and safety of humanity. That is why the always observe domestic and international politics. Rewards and requital are unchanged laws of Allah. What are they? Well, you will surely receive a reward in return of your good deeds, this is an unchanged law of Allah. You will also receive punishment as requital of your evil deeds. You will receive the punishment that is for the crime you commit. This is an absolute law of justice. This is an absolute law of divine justice. As for those whom are not forgiven by Allah – Allah implements justice for them. Allah may forgive the ones whom Allah wills, that is different. But Allah never said that you can become disbelievers (kāfir) and be forgiven, there is no amnesty for that. There are certain crimes for which there is no amnesty. There is no amnesty for disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), corruption (nifaq), and people’s rights. What is the remedy for these? Well, you need to renounce from disbelief (kufr) and come to faith (iman), to monotheism (tawhid iman), to the faith (iman) that Islam brought forth, not the wrong and non-sense beliefs that people fabricated. You need to come to the real faith (haqq iman) that Islam brought forth. The remedy of this is when you renounce from disbelief (kufr) and come to faith (iman) and repent. You need to renounce from corruption (nifaq) and become a straight-up righteous Muslim. You need to become a believer (mu’min). You need to leave everything about being a hypocrite, and come to wahdat (unity), tawhid (monotheism), honesty, and loyalty. You can’t portray yourself as a Muslim and live as a disbeliever (kāfir). That is what we call hypocrisy or being a munafiq. They look like Muslims but live like disbelievers (kāfir). Many signs that give them away have been listed in Al-Quran Al-Karim. There are many signs of hypocrisy. That is why reward and requital are unchanged laws. These are Allah’s vaad al-subhān (holy promise). The verses of the Quran that I have recited these matters were listed one by one.

Now, the polytheists (mushrikun) were predominant in the world at the beginning of Islam. Islam was new at that time, and the world was in the hands of the polytheism (shirk). There were powerful states stuck in polytheism (shirk). There were super imperialist states. There were also idolater states. The Magians were worshipping fire. The circumstances of Byzantium were known. The Arabian Peninsula was dominated by idolatry. This was also the situation in other parts of the world. There were no more than a handful of people who had the hanif (monotheistic) religion. They had all deviated from the ways of the Bible, the Torah, Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses).

Time Stamp: 10:00

An interregnum had occurred according to the 19th verse. A gap of appearance of prophets is mentioned in it. That said, polytheism (shirk) was predominant in the world. The polytheists were in the lead. However, the tawhid iman (monotheism) was born. The world needed to be saved from polytheism (shirk). A military detachment (seriyye) was sent to Bani Amr, according to Ibn-i Abbas and al-Muqatil. Now, there is Ibn-i Abbas and al-Muqatil in the source of this news. Our Prophet (asw) had sent a military detachment (seriyye) to Bani Amr. They were all martyred in Bi’ri Maûne. Our military detachment was betrayed here. Three people were able to stay alive. The survivors found two people whom they thought was the enemy, and they had killed them. See, they were under protection, and Bani Salim asked for blood money (diyāt). Our Prophet (asw) and his four caliphs were sitting, then they got up and went to Bani Nadir. They had an agreement to not to fight and to help with regards to blood money (diyāt). They had an ongoing agreement. Our Prophet (asw) informed them of the situation, and they said: “Come, let us eat, and then we will help with the blood money (diyāt).” This is what this “Bani Nadir” occurrence seems like at first, but they actually tried to assassinate our Prophet. They secretly decided to assassinate our Prophet by throwing a grindstone on him.

Who are they? Well, they are Jews of Bani Nadir. They had an ongoing agreement with our Prophet. A peace treaty had been made between them. Such a shame that they were preparing to assassinate the Prophet of Mercy who was sent for all the worlds. They wanted to crush him by throwing a giant rock on him.

Jibril (a.s.) came right away and informed him of their preparation. See, a Prophet was sent to the entire humanity as a mercy (rahmat) of Allah. He was sent down as a manifestation of mercy. Do you see what mankind does to their greatest friend, the manifestation of grace and mercy of Allah? They want to betray him. Mankind is cruel and ungrateful. The exceptions do not break the rule.

In the end, Jibril (a.s.) informed him about their treason. Our Prophet had left the premises with haste. They asked him, “O, Muhammad! Where are you doing?” See, they said the meals are about to finish. Our Prophet, who is the Prophet of Mercy sent upon all the worlds, who came for the salvation of the entire mankind, who calls everyone to Jannah (Paradise), who only calls to the unity of Allah, who calls to peace and happiness – that Prophet who called everyone to the life-giving divine commands said, “I have been informed of your intention.”

You see, how kindly and delicately he said it? “I have been informed of your intention.” That is, “you wanted to assassinate me and kill me but Allah sent Jibril (a.s.) to me, and I have been informed of your doing.” See, this is what happened to the Jews of Bani Nadir. This is a narration that came from Ata, and is known as the rock incident. That said, this news is based on authentic sources.

Time Stamp: 15:00

That said, our Prophet still forgives them for all their evil doings and treasons. He wanted to maintain his friendship with them forever, this was the divine message, but until when? Well, if the treason continues, then the traitors will choke in their own treason, and they will be destroyed. In the end, what happened has happened. The goal is to reach the bounty (nimat) and the good, and be saved from evil. Islam itself is but a bounty (nimat) and mercy upon all the worlds. Prophet Muhammad is a bounty (nimat) and mercy upon all the worlds. So, what is nimat? Well, if they ask it means – to reach what is good and be saved from evil. All that is good is a nimat, and everything that saves you from evil is a nimat.

So, it means that the religion that will protect people from evil and ensure an environment of peace for you is Islam. It is also Islam that will make you reach all that is good, for Islam is nothing but mercy (rahmat) and bounty (nimat). Islam is all that is good. Evil has been ostracized by Islam. Islam calls people into this khayr (good). Islam calls people into the truly blissful setting, and the environment of safety. It is Allah’s place of safety, for Islam is the order established by Allah.

There is also the matter of naqīb. The twelve naqīb were sent for supervision. Well, naqīb means – to supervise. So, twelve chiefs, one from each grandson had been sent. They were sent to Damascus, Jericho, which was the homeland of the Jabbars at that time, and the Kenanians were there. Prophet Musa (Moses) had sent these twelve supervisors there, and told them: “Do not tell your secret to anyone.” He had sent the supervisors, but told them to keep their secrets and not tell it to anyone except him.

They set out, and got scared, except for two of them. What did they do? They told their secrets. That is, except these two: Kalep ibn Yunanna, and Yusa ibn Nun. They kept their secrets, but others disclosed theirs.

They did not fulfil the word of a Prophet such as Musa (Moses). They could not fulfil the command. Musa (a.s.) is one of the ulu’l azm prophets of Allah.

Dearest friends!

It is written in the Bible. Abu Hayyan says, “A group of people claimed Isa is Allah.” This is the situation of the Jews and the Christians. “Now, a group of people claimed Isa is Allah’s son.” Never, never in ever! “Another group believe in the third person of a trinity.” There are also certain wrong (batil) beliefs in tariqats (schools) that seem Muslim that ascribe shapes to Allah. These were adopted from the Christian belief. Some say Allah has incarnated into Jesus. These are the people of wahdat al-wujūd (unity of existence). It is said that Hallaj, Saffar, Lebbac, and others are among these. It is Abu Hayyan who said these in Bahru’l Muhît.

Time Stamp: 20:00

Abu Hayyan is one of our greatest Islamic scholars (âlim). Now, pay attention to the Islamic schools (tariqats), the Muslim schools (tariqats). There are some tariqats (schools) that look like Muslims. Some of the ascribe shapes to Allah, such as Müşebbehe. They are those who ascribe shapes to Allah, some of the are Buddhists. They were influenced from Buddhism, Hinduism, and Christianity. See, they were adopted from the Christians belief, they are all wrong (batil) beliefs. They have no correlation whatsoever with Isa (Jesus) or Musa (Moses). Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses) with the Bible and the Torah are all Islamic Messengers. They are all Muslims. And the Bible we’re talking about is the real one, not the fabricated one, the real one; and the real Torah, these are Allah’s Book. And Al-Quran Al-Karim has renewed them all. What did they do to them? They could not protect it, they gave them false meanings, they distorted them, and ruined them with false meanings. That is why Allah renewed the past with the Islamic sharia (law).

See, jizya and heavy taxes and so many things emerged. Ta’zir punishments, tarbiya (disciplining) punishments in order to defy evil. Janâb-i Haqq applies tarbiya (disciplining) methods first. What does Janâb-i Haqq do? Warns from the ground and the heavens, gives famine, sickness, misery, and sadness. Enemy assaults happen. All of these are for those who don’t wake up with the Book and admonition. Allah wakes them up with disasters. That is why people should listen to Allah’s Book the Quran, and Muhammad. This is beneficial for them. Otherwise, the share of ahlul taqwa (pious people) is Janna (Paradise). The share of ahlul dunya (worldly people) is the disasters sent by Allah. So, is it not better to wake up and he happy with Allah’s right and real admonitions that shed light, instead of waking up with disasters? We are telling you, Allah Ta’ala is always ready with ilm (knowledge) and qudrah (omnipotence) for everything about all the worlds. Arş-i ala (the ninth heaven) is always ready and prepared. The heavens and the earth have always been and will always be ready and prepared with every atom in their structure, this is how they will manifest. There has been nothing or will never be nothing neither in the worlds nor in the heavens that can escape Allah’s knowledge (ilm) and be saved from Allah’s omnipotence. Know Allah correctly! Allah Ta’ala is always ready and prepared with the knowledge (ilm), for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Seeing, All-Encompassing. Allah has encompassed everything with the qudrah (omnipotence). You have been encompassed inside and outside; our souls have been encompassed. If you have faith (iman) in your heart, and good deeds, and love of Allah that we call muhabbat, then in return of these graces and blessings will come to your heart. Do you know what awliya calls that? They call is cem-ul cem, which means, “The bounties and graces infesting you.” Whatever the heart has earned will be given by Allah. As long as your heart is filled with polytheism (shirk), corruption (nifaq), and disbelief (kufr), disasters, troubles, sadness, and a mood that will crack you from inside and explode will come to your heart. You will feel depression as if you are climbing a high mountain. There is no change of being happy in that case. See, you should ask help from Allah in order to remove polytheism (shirk) from your heart, and come to the real faith (iman).

Time Stamp: 25:02

You see, not everyone in the world will tell you these. The entire mankind is servants (qul) of Allah, and we must say these. Those know our language get it, and let people translate these for those who don’t. Let them spread (tabligh) these to the world properly. Listen to these realities (haqiqa) again and again. Let your lineage and nation listen to these, from 7 to 70, so that everyone may be saved, which is the point. Islam came to save mankind. Islam is a saviour but if people are not narrating Islam correctly, then they themselves are guilty. They will be wearing gag-bits made of fire.

Islam should be narrated objectively, without mixing anything else into it. One should not be under the influence of an ideology or a group while narrating it. One should be able to shout out the truth (haqiqa) only for the Real (al-Haqq), under the sovereignty of the Real (al-Haqq). We are humbly trying to do just that, and it is not like we are doing anything else. We are only trying to do that.

Now, about driving away from the mercy (rahmat). The disasters that befall on some people drive them off Allah’s mercy (rahmat), but why? Because they don’t believe. They don’t accept Allah’s principles and laws. There have been those who were driven away from the mercy (rahmat), such as the Shaitan. Those who follow the Shaitan’s footsteps have all been ostracized from the mercy (rahmat), and they were driven off. Allah turned some of them into monkeys and pigs. See, there have been some turned into monkeys and pigs. Janâb-i Haqq rained down upon them disasters and miseries, and gave them many troubles, such as jizyah and heavy taxes.

In the sources of this news there are the trustworthy Islamic scholars (âlim) and Al-Quran Al-Karim. Ata, Hasen, Muqatil, Ibn-i Abbas are among those Islamic scholars (âlim). Radeyallahu anhum wa ardahum ajmain.

They distort the divine decrees. Don’t you ever try to distort Allah’s Book, or you yourself will be distorted. They have betrayed the Torah and the Bible in the past, and they were ruined. There is no chance of distorting Al-Quran Al-Karim, but people distort themselves. They may get it wrong, and interpret it wrong. Or, they may polish the apple for someone in order to procure unearned income. Then what happens? They will be turned into monkeys and pigs.

The Quran will strike them, those who don’t believe, and those who betray. The possessor of the Quran is Allah. The possessor of Islam is Allah. Islam, the Quran, and Muhammad are holy values, and they can’t be betrayed. Those who betray will be struck. Disasters sent by Allah will find them right away, or some bomb will explode in them, in their heart and their brain. Each and every sin is like a bomb. You don’t know when they will explode. Explosions will occur according to the punishments that are given to the crimes that are committed. The explosions will be worse and more numerous than volcanoes.

O, humanity! Get your mind straight! The entire humanity is from me, and I am from them. We are all servants (qul) of Allah. Should we not say the truth to each other? There is a holy book such as Al-Quran Al-Karim, so why don’t people know it well and narrate it correctly? Those who do are excluded.

They are all men of the same cadre, those who betray Prophet Muhammad today, those who portray themselves as Muslims, those who neglect Muhammad and interpret the Quran according to their desires, and those atheists are in this class. You cannot save anyone or yourself unless you speak the truth, and you will not be helping anyone. The way of being beneficial, and reaching salvation is to understand Al-Quran Al-Karim correctly, and narrate it to people correctly.

Time Stamp: 30:00

Even against all these treasons you will see a general amnesty. Prophet Muhammad would still forgive. A general amnesty, and treating people with morality (akhlaq), and an Islamic indulgence have been shown throughout history. Throughout history, Islam has protected every nation. Islam has put them into its own protection, and protected the lives of other nations as if they are from its own. The Christians, Jews, fire worshippers, Magians, this, that, and no matter what their beliefs are Islam has to protect those who live under its rule. Muslims have been protecting them to this day. If there have been people who committed crimes, then those are personal, not Islamic. Today, those who try to portray Islam as a source of terror are the biggest terrorists of the world today. They are those who don’t know Islam.

Islam is the peace of the world, the souls, the hearts, and the universe until the Last Day. It is Islam that will establish the peace. Those who destroy the peace are those who invent terror. The enemies of Islam are trying to destroy the peace. Why? Because they want to strike someone with the power they have, they want to exploit a part of the world. This is their goal; this is the red mindset which is the arch enemy of humanity. Yes, today you have the weapon in your hand and you are striking someone, but what will you do when the other side gets hold of that weapon start striking you? Is it a conscious act to shed blood? There is the peace of Islam, and the social justice, and the divine mercy that has encompassed all the worlds, but you want to destroy it and destroy the peace. And then impose upon people your own tyrannical rule because you have this or that power. Tomorrow, the power you have may pass on to the other side, or it may already have. Would that not be pity for humanity? What will happen when someone armed enters your house and takes the weapon in your hands, and now you are unarmed? Is this not a pity? Did you not see many mafias who destroyed each other while you were the head of the mafia?

See, this is what we need to do in order to establish justice on earth, come and let us decide this. Now, in the 29th verse of Surah at-Tawbah, “Fight ahlul kitab until they pay jizyah and become degraded.” Who are they? Well, this is the verse of the sword. Who is it? They are the mindsets that betrayed the Bible, the Torah, Isa (Jesus), and Musa (Moses), and the Quran, and Prophet Muhammad. What will you do against them? Well, you need to take the means from the tyrants and hand over the world to justice, social justice, and mercy. Every command and jihad (struggle) of Al-Quran Al-Karim is for establishing peace and justice in the world.

Now, in the 58th verse of Surah al-Anfal, those who betray and those who break the covenant are mentioned. The 58th verse of Surah al-Anfal mentions those who break the covenant and commit treason. Now, when we take a brief look, we see that there have been people who say this verse have been abrogated. Moreover, Sâbûnî said this is the majority who has that opinion. On the other hand, it is necessary to say that not every crime is punished just like not every crime is forgiven.

Time Stamp: 35:08

This is justice. Justice itself evaluates these in its own mechanics. Not every crime is forgiven, and not every crime is punished. The saying that goes, “There are no flawless human beings in the universe, so not every flaw should be seen,” has been said in relation to that. Now, nobody should forget that the gates of repentance are open. The entire world needs to repent and ask for forgiveness and come to faith (iman) and embrace this peace, and enter into the peace. Islam is nothing but peace, justice, right faith (haqq iman), divine order; and the divine mercy’s encompassing of the world. Islam is a divine mercy. It is the mercy, rahmat, and justice of Allah who encompasses all the worlds. Do not understand Islam in any other way. The religion of Islam has come to people in order to make people reach salvation by their own free-will. You can declare faith (iman) by your own free-will, and be of service to Allah by your own free-will; and then Islam will take you to a blissful fate. That blissful fate is Janna (Paradise), and the Jamal (Beauty) of Allah. It is also Islam that turns the world into a paradise to the extent of the means of the world. It is also Islam that establishes a happy life for the souls, by giving them life. Islam is the one that draws the way of aql-e-saleem (sound intellect) in the hearts.

Now, a haqq ruh (righteous soul) is mentioned here. The haqq ruh (righteous soul) is Prophet Muhammad. You see, this haqq ruh was in the Bible and the Torah but they denied. Prophet Muhammad is mentioned as haqq ruh. They denied Prophet Muhammad, and this is not for the better good of humanity, for he is the Prophet of Mercy upon all the worlds. How can you deny this?

Now, about those who are skilled in evil, and those who brag about industry, and those who are in love with trade. Their negligence of Allah and the afterlife has ignited evil. See, being skilled in evil is called istidraj (gradual destruction).

They brag about industry. Industry is present because Allah has given you skills, and as long as you utilize the industry for the better good of the world, it is a bounty of Allah, but do not use it for evil. Rather than bragging about industry, give thanks to Allah, and utilize the industry for the benefit of all people.

About those who are in love with trade. Yes, do commence trade but do it justly, don’t exploit people, do not cheat anyone. Earn and spend in the way of Allah for the better good of humanity and be happy, and then start working to make other people happy. Is a conscience that says, “I am happy, so let others be unhappy,” a righteous conscience? That is a conscience that belongs to creatures. That said, even the creatures have an innate nature (fitrah), which is created in accordance with the ecosystem. You were created as a human being, and a human being should not fall behind creatures in terms of conscience. A conscience that says, “Let me have it all, and others should get nothing,” is not a human conscience, it is not a conscience of a creature it is even lower than that. Why? Because even the animals share between themselves.

They forget about the afterlife and Allah. Is it possible to forget about Allah? Everything belongs to Allah. It is Allah who gave us everything. We belong to Allah. Is it not Allah who created our bodies and souls? Is it not Allah who keeps us alive? Can Allah be forgotten? About the afterlife, you will die and be resurrected. The real universe is that one, and this world is a temporary world created for a test, and for working, and for earning. The world in which we will be rewarded for our work is the Janna (Paradise). That is, the afterlife is the real life, and this world is but a test.

Time Stamp: 40:00

Why does man waits in the test saloon? Because, when the test ends in the test saloon, the winners go to their homes or businesses, and just like that when humanity passes the test in the world, the winners will go to Janna (Paradise).

Can Allah be forgotten? Can the hereafter (ākhira) be forgotten? Can there be such a world? It is obvious that you will go to the grave when you die. That is more certain than two plus two equals four. Has there even been an immortal person? Is there a person among the landlords, generals, rich or poor people who has not died? Well, the generals have all those guns and they are shielded by their armies; but Azrail comes and takes them away, does he not? The doctors have all those medicines in their hands; but Azrail (a.s.) takes them away, does he not? The judges who rule justly or unjustly; Azrail (a.s.) descends down upon their throats and takes them away, does he not? Who could escape from Azrail (a.s.)? Is there a rich person who was left alone by Azrail (a.s.) because he is rich? Is there a poor person whom Azrail (a.s.) left alone? Azrail (a.s.) takes them all and brings them to Allah. You shall answer. You shall answer to Allah. Get your head straight! I am telling this to myself, and I love you. This is why I say, “Let us share these truths together,” also because this is our duty.

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq (c.c.) said in the 7th verse of Surah al-Rum [30].

The hodja is reciting the 7th verse of Surah al-Rum [30].

“They only know the apparent (ẓāhir) aspect of the worldly life, but they are completely oblivious to the afterlife (ākhira),” and they do not see the afterlife (ākhira).

It is like they know it when they are physically hungry, but have no idea about their souls. Yes, they see their bodies, but they have no idea about their aql (intellect), heart, and ruh (soul). They see the world, but they are oblivious to the afterlife (ākhira). They see the matter, but they don’t know the meaning. Can you call that person wise? Is it suitable for a person who has aql (reason), conscience, and faith (iman) to see the creature and deny the Creator (al-Khaliq)? That is why Janâb-i Haqq says, يَعْلَمُونَ ظَاهِرًا in the 7th verse of Surah al-Rum [30], “They only know the apparent (ẓāhir). Says, “مِّنَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا” which means, “they only know the apparent (ẓāhir) aspect of the world.”

The hodja is reciting the last part of the verse. “But they are oblivious to the afterlife (aqhira).”

“O, pasha! You need to know the afterlife (aqhira). At first, you must know of your heart and soul. Look at your heart and soul, and see if they have faith (iman). See if they have Islam. See if your heart and soul have the conscience, right and reality, and faith (iman) that Allah wanted and Prophet Muhammad brought, and all Prophets brought? Just take look, and let us start with ourselves. Let us not try to find flaws in others, let us first look at our inner worlds. See, the measure of right and wrong is Al-Quran Al-Karim, and Prophet Muhammad (asw). Janâb-i Haqq brings forth many realities (haqiqa) that shed light, and we are trying to announce.

Now, when the Babylonians invaded… Now, the Babylonians once invaded Bani Israel. Torah was lost, and nobody had it in memory. After so many years, they wrote a Torah at their whim. You can study the interpretations that mention side notes with regards to the 13th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5]. You may find this information there, and in many other sources.

There are various interpretations, distortions, and things that they try to conceal in the books of the Jews and the Christians. For example, the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad was informed in the books. There are various interpretations, distortions, and things that they try to conceal in the books of the Jews and the Christians. For example, the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad was informed in the books. So, the most important news that they try to hide is Prophet Muhammad. That is, Prophet Muhammad in the Torah and the Bible. Isa (a.s.) had come only to herald the coming of Prophet Muhammad. This was one of the most important missions he had, but they conceal it.

They all were invited to the straight way. It is desired for them to be saved from darkness and misguidance, along with all humanity. Islam, the Quran, and Prophet Muhammad had come for the salvation and happiness of the entire humanity. Whether they believe or not, this is the truth and the reality.

Now, in the 73rd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5]:

The hodja is reciting the 73rd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let us see what is said by the Yakubiyyah tariqah (school) of the Christians. What happened to those who say, “Indeed, Allah is the third of a trinity,”? It is said that they became disbelievers (kāfir). They are those like Chaldeans. Then again, there is the tahqiq ulama, who are the critique ulama and exegetes who conduct the academical studies in these matters perfectly have this opinion. This is the wrong that all those who say, “We are Christians,” adopted. Some of them say third of a trinity, some believe in all three, and some say first of a trinity, and some say two of them incarnated into Isa (Jesus), and they claim Isa (Jesus) is a god. These are all slanders to Isa (a.s.), the Torah, the Bible, the Quran, Allah, and Prophet Muhammad. These are all lies, fabrications, and polytheism (shirk). Isa is a great Prophet of Allah, and he is a servant (qul) of Allah, a Messenger. He is son of Maryam. This is what is right. The critique ulama and the exegetes say, this is the belief all those who say, “We are Christians” adopt, by this we refer to the third of the trinity matter.

They think that the Father and the Holy Spirit was incarnated into the Son. They say, “Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.” They say the Father and the Holy Spirit was incarnated into the Son. They say they incarnated into Isa (Jesus), and they say Isa (Jesus) is Allah. Never, never in ever! They say Allah is nothing but Maryam’s son, Isa the Messiah. See the 17th verse, it is said that they all became disbelievers (kāfir). This is disbelief (kufr), and polytheism (shirk) that they call Allah third of a trinity. They also claim things like incarnation and say Allah is a person.

Indeed, Allah has no partners or equals. Allah is One in terms of every quality, attribute, and name. As for others, they are servants (qul) created by Allah. They are all servants (qul) of Allah. They are all creatures that Allah created.

Time Stamp: 50:00

There is no god but Allah. There is only Allah. There are not any sons or daughters of Allah, but Allah has servants (qul), and creatures. See, this is what all Prophets believe. What is it? Allah is One. Allah has had no partners, equals, overseers, and will never have. This is what all Prophets believe. If certain wrongs have emerged later, then some people have ruined themselves and those whom they led astray, but Islam came to save. The Quran has been crying out this reality (haqiqa) for 14 centuries. It has been saying, “Allah is One,” and this voice has been rumbling the entire universe, and is heard everywhere. The Quran is the interpreter of the voice of the entire universe. What is it? The voices of all the worlds have been heard, they all recite the name of Allah. The entirety of all the worlds have been shouting out, saying “Allah is One.” Had there were two gods, would the heavens and earth be such orderly? They would be distorted immediately. The sun rises from the east and sets in the west. If there were two gods, then a god of wars would emerge, and the order in the heavens and the earth would be disrupted. Let’s say one of them decided to create humans in our current shape, and the other decided to do something else. The order of everything would come down. Allah’s unity is clear. Allah is One. Janâb-i Haqq created so many things and various creatures in the worlds for Allah knows all methods of creating. Allah has created a great variety of creatures.

Now, one of the three Christian madhabs (schools) say that the Messiah is a human. That is, they say “Isa (Jesus) is a human.” Those who say he was a human were excommunicated and killed. Bear this in mind! These are terrible things. We will continue our lecture by explaining these. The second madhab (school) said Isa (Jesus) is the God. That is, they said that Isa the Messiah was Allah. As for the third madhab (school) they said, he is part god part human. Can one be part god and part human? Think for a second, can there be a god out of a man? Man is a servant (qul) of Allah, and a creature. People are created, that is it. Allah has good servants (qul); servants (qul) who are perfect. Prophet Muhammad and all the Prophets are utmost servants (qul) of Allah. And they are only servants (qul).

Now, among the priests of Alexandria, Arius… Now, pay attention to this section! Arius had founded the Arianism madhab (school), and they had believed in the unity of Allah. They said, “Isa (Jesus) is a creature (makhluq), a servant (qul); Isa is kalimatullah.” Then, they were excommunicated. They were killed later for they spoke the truth. Who are they? We are talking about Arius who was a priest in Alexandria, and he had founded Arianism, and they believed in Allah’s unity, and said Isa (Jesus) is a creature (makhluq), a servant (qul). They claimed Isa (Jesus) is kalimatullah. During the reign of the 1st Constantine, Samsatlı Pols who was the Patriarch of Antioch and his followers also had the same belief. See, 1st Constantine and the Patriarch of Antioch had the same belief. They were saying Isa (Jesus) is a servant (qul) of Allah, and a Messenger. This is the correct belief. Isa (Jesus) is a servant (qul) of Allah, and a Messenger. That is, he is a Prophet.

That said, during the reign of the 2nd Constantine, the Patriarch of Istanbul, Macedonius was accepting monotheism (tawhid) as well. See, this was the Apostolic Discipleship Madhab.

Do you know what befell on them later? Do you know what they did to those who had this belief? We will continue to narrate as the occasion arises.

Time Stamp: 55:25

During the reign of the 1st Constantine, in the year 325. That is, the year AD 325. In the year 325, bishops had convened in the First Council of Nicaea. Bear this in mind! Do you know how many bishops had convened? 2048 bishops had convened in the council. Arius was not included, and 318 people were chosen against Arius, and he was declared a heretic. They had accepted the trinity in the council, which is where it all went sideways. It all went sideways in AD 325. They had completely deviated from the way of Isa (Jesus). See, the way of Isa (a.s.) was the way of Islam. Isa (Jesus) is a Muslim Prophet, and the Bible was sent to him. Let us pay attention to this now. They had declared Arius a heretic. They had accepted the trinity. What was the trinity? That is, claiming Allah consists of three beings. Some say Allah is the third of the three. Some say Allah is the first of the three. There are various beliefs, and we had narrated them in detail but we will continue to narrate them. This was the first time they had set the laws of Christianity. See, this has no correlation whatsoever with Isa (Jesus). They said, “Allah’s son had descended from the heavens, and he was given birth by Maryam.” Pay attention! They claimed that Allah’s son had descended from the heavens and was given birth by Maryam. Do you see this belief? This is a slander to Allah, to Isa (Jesus), and to Maryam. Allah (c.c.), Isa (a.s.), and our mother Maryam are all free and away from their slanders. Allah is subhan (glorious), and has no partners or overseers. As for Isa (Jesus), he is a pure Prophet. Our mother Maryam is also a pure and chaste woman. Do you see the vile things they ascribed to valuable figures such as Isa (Jesus) and Maryam? Do you see how they ascribed partners to Almighty Allah? Isa (Jesus) is present in our fundamentals (amantu). Isa (Jesus) is a real (haqq) Messenger of Allah.

Moreover, “He was crucified during the reign of Pilate,” please pay attention now, “he was crucified during the reign of Pilate, and he was buried. He ascended to the heavens on the third day, and he sat right next to his father. We believe in the Messiah who will come again,” they say. That is, they claim that Isa (Jesus) was crucified during the reign of a ruler named Pilate. The Christians say Isa (Jesus) was crucified, and then buried. They say he was buried at that time, and he ascended to the heavens on the third day. They say he sits right beside his father. They say, “We believe in the Messiah who will come again.”

See, this is the Christian belief and it is a wrong belief. They say, “We believe in the Holy Spirit that will come out from the Father, and baptism, mahmudi, Catholic Holy Messiah Congregation, resurrection, and the everlasting life.” They said, “We declare those who say, ‘Allah has not begotten, and is not from a single jawhar,” heretics. Bear this in mind! They said, “We declare those who say, ‘Allah has not begotten, and is not from a single jawhar,” heretics. Then, the Mukarrerat Madhab was officially announced.

Time Stamp: 1:00:10

Pay attention! They said, “Allah is only the Messiah.” Never! They said, “Allah consisted of only Isa the Messiah.” They implemented this view. See the 17th verse. See the 17th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5]. The explanation of this was given in the essential source. Almighty Allah personally explains this in that verse. As for what they call Ruh al-Qudus, or haqq ruh (holy spirit), do you know who he actually was? Well, what they call Ruh al-Qudus or haqq ruh (holy spirit) is Prophet Muhammad. They ascribed a false meaning to him as well, in order to cover him up. They had found him.

Let us see what Isa (Jesus) had said in the Bible. He was saying, “I will go, and the haqq ruh (holy spirit) that will not speak his soul will come after me, paraclete haqq ruh will come,” pay attention now! That is, he said that the Ruh al-Qudus or haqq ruh (holy spirit) will come and teach you everything, and remind you the things that I have told you. Thus, Isa (a.s.) had heralded the coming of Prophet Muhammad. I shall repeat. Isa (a.s.) had heralded the coming of Prophet Muhammad (asw). That is, he said, “Believe in the Last Prophet.” Who said it? Isa (a.s.) said, “Believe in the Last Prophet.”

See the 14th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

These decisions were made in AD 325, and 3 centuries later Muhammad (asw) came to the world as a Prophet. See, they were making these decisions in AD 325, these wrong decisions, and what happens 300 years later? In the year AD 571 Prophet Muhammad was born, and becomes a Prophet. Muhammad, who is our Prophet came. Do you know what they did when Prophet Muhammad (asw) comes, even though they had seen him and believed in him beforehand? Well, they denied. Some of them became Muslims, but those who did not continue their denial. We all know how it is now. See the 17th verse. See the 17th verse of Surah al-Maidah. Janâb-i Haqq says the following in the 14th verse:

The hodja is reciting the 14th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Says, “We stirred up enmity among them.”  Because there is a great trouble and disaster reserved for denying the Real (al-Haqq). Your battle with the Real (al-Haqq) starts once you have denied the Real (al-Haqq). Do you think you can wage war against Allah and win?

Come to faith (iman). Come to Islam. Come to peace. Come to brotherhood. Come to justice. Come to the Real (al-Haqq). Come to the reality (haqiqa). Denial, polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), and slandering Allah are war against Allah. Can one win a war against Allah?

The enigma of misguidance: They mix Allah and the Messenger, the king and the kingdom, the creator and the created. A tangled deviancy, their hearts and eyes turned black, and they can no longer know Allah.

Let me recite the last part again due to its importance if you like.

The enigma of misguidance: They mix Allah and the Messenger, the king and the kingdom, the creator and the created. A tangled deviancy, their hearts and eyes turned black, and they can no longer know Allah.

Time Stamp: 1:05:13

They forgot about the haqq ruh (holy spirit). That is, they forgot about Prophet Muhammad. The later Catholics added an article that says he must come from the Messiah. What does it mean? Well, it means that he must come from the Messiah. They say Muhammad should have came from among the Christians. The Jews did the same mistake as well. What did they do by seeing things from the perspective of racism and Zionism? They said that Muhammad should have come from among the Jews, but rather he became a Prophet from Mecca. Whereas he comes from Ismail (Ishmael) who is son of Ibrahim (Abraham). Where does Isa (Jesus) come from? Isa (Jesus) also comes from the lineage of Isaac who is son of Ibrahim (a.s.). Musa (Moses) also comes from that lineage, and also the other Prophets. They all come from the lineage of Isaac, Ya’qub (Jacop), and Yūsuf (Joseph). Look at this discrimination! Look at this segregation! Look at this denial!

You see, they had added an article that says he must come from the Messiah. They had fabricated this article about the haqq ruh (holy spirit) themselves. As for the Last Prophet, they say, “He should have come from among Christianity, but he did not,” and this is why they deviated into denying Prophet Muhammad. Today, the non-Muslims are either victims of that article, or they are ignorant and unwary. There is no salvation for anyone unless they become Muslims. There is no salvation for those who call themselves Muslims but not become real Muslims. The misguidance still continues, bear this in mind! The misguidance still continues, and the source of it is the First Council of Nicaea, and AD 325. The Pantheists, Monophysites, Yakubites, Melkites, meaning the Catholics and Orthodoxies are all responsible for this disbelief (kufr). The exegetes mention the schools (madhabs) of Melkite, Nestorianism, and Yakubiyyah.

Dearest and most revered audience!

Our goal is to protect Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), the Bible, the Torah, Prophet Muhammad, and the Quran from slanders and wrong ascriptions. Our goal is to preserve them and speak the truth. The truths are explained with the Quran. Al-Quran Al-Karim witnesses the past and holds the documents of the past. It is Allah’s Book. Allah removed the wrongs of the past and brought forth the truths. That said, all the documents of the future are also in Al-Quran Al-Karim. That is why nobody has the chance to reach the truth without the Quran. It is possible to reach the truth with the Quran and Muhammad. There is no other way. Because Janâb-i Haqq created it as the witness of the past and the document of the future. Janâb-i Haqq renewed the past with the sharia (law) of Islam.

The following view is in the tehsil (poem), “They start walking in the Tih Desert all night, only to find themselves where they started in the morning. They were stuck in the Tih Desert for forty years like this.”

Friends, the word “jerusalem” means “holy lands.”

Ibn-i Kathīr says, “Does not punish the friend of a friend.”

Now, let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says in the 18th verse. Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says to the Jews and the Christians who say, “We are Allah’s sons, friends, and beloved ones.” Allah says, “Say, ‘Then why does Allah punish you?” You see, they have been punished throughout history due to various crimes. This goes for everyone, there is a punishment for every crime. Or, a person may be forgiven. He may repent and ask for forgiveness, and come to the real faith (iman), or he will be sentenced to the punishment he deserves.

That is why our dearest friends! Janâb-i Haqq speaks the truth. Allah speaks the truth. As for the Quran, it is Allah’s Book.

Melkaniyye, Melikiyye, Melchites; m-l-k in Hebrew, king faction. The name given to Catholicism and Orthodoxy. To the Byzantium (Rum) Catholics, melkit – larus lugati. The name of the Catholics. They were given the name, “ötükenler.” As for the Greek Orthodoxias, in the kalmış beşerel lugati. In the AD 451, in the council. The name of those who were subjected to the decision made in the 4th council, “ötükenler,” this name was given to the Orthodoxias. In the hijri 4th century.

Ibn-i Hazm is one of the Islamic scholars (âlim). Ibn-i Hazm says that the Christians madhabs (schools)… Now, Ibn-i Hazm is from Andalus. He says, “The Christians madhabs (schools) are Melkaniyye, Nesturiyye, and Yakubiyye.”

That said, Ibn-i Hazm is from Andalus which was in Europe, in the centre of Spain, and the Islamic state had lived in Spain for 800 years; and because they lived together with the Christians there is a higher chance that they know the situation correctly. And this is a correct information, the common one is Melkaniyye. During the reign of Great Theodosius, 150 bishops had gathered in the 2nd Council in which Maktunios and his followers were excommunicated. Pay attention! After the followers of Arius, the Makdun’s were also excommunicated. So, whoever said Isa (Jesus) is Allah’s servant (qul) and Messenger, and Allah is One, they were all excommunicated. What happened to the little Tedos in the Armenian Independence? During his time, which is AD 428. Nestorius had founded Nestorianism. They tried to explain that it is like the Sun trying to rise up from a window. In Efsus, 200 bishops had excommunicated him and cursed him in the 3rd Council. Pay attention!

Time Stamp: 1:15:00

Whoever they found a little close to the truth they excommunicated. Thus, Nestorianism was abolished in the year 431. Even if there are some left, they were scattered across a few towns or cities. Today, in Mosul, a village consists of Nestorianians is known.

Otukez had founded the personal unity madhab. Monophysitism. Monophysism, they were Europeans. Otukez. In AD 451, 330 bishops had gathered in Chalcedon in the 4th Council. They had gathered to the detriment of Otuken. The Yakubites had objected. Greater Leon, Lesser Leon, Zenon, Nestas, they were Yakubites. They were members of Yakubi madhab (school). When Yustin took control, he had killed most of the Yakubites. And in the reign of Yustanos, there had been killings and revolutions between the Melkanites.

Yakubiyyah, is founded by Jacob Barda who is among Bishops of Istanbul, Patriarch of Antioch. Conservative Monophysism. These are the ones who say Allah is the Messiah. Never, never in ever! You can see this when you read the 17th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5]. They say it is like an angel appearing in the shape of a human. That is, they say Isa (Jesus), Allah is the Messiah. That is, Isa (Jesus) is Allah, they say. They say it is like an angel appearing like a human. They are slandering.

Two jawhar (substance) had become one, divine jawhar and humane jawhar, they say. That is, they say he is a human and a god at the same time. They call this, “zırhlanma,” and “incarnation.” They say, “incarnation,” “like reflection on a mirror.” These are polytheism (shirk) one by one. The Yakubiyyah Church of the Monophysites, the Armenian Church, Syrian Yakubiyyah Church, Egypt Kıpt Church. Pay attention now! The Yakubiyyah Church of the Monophysites, the Armenian Church, Syrian Yakubiyyah Church, Egypt Kıpt Church. They have ostracized the Arianists. Now, what does a muwahhid mean? The Arianists believed in the Oneness of Allah, and they excommunicated and ostracized them. They had incorporated other groups as well. We can count the Protestantism as well. With the influence of Islam, from the 2nd century to hijri year 145 – iconoclasts who understood that worshipping the pictures of Maryam, Isa (Jesus), and al-Hawâriyyûn (the Disciples) was idolatry, and Christians who broke idols came forth.

Time Stamp: 1:20:03

Pay attention! They were influenced by Islam. They saw people started worshipping the pictures of Maryam and Isa (Jesus). They were worshipping and praying to them and the pictures of al-Hawâriyyûn (the Disciples). It is said that they were influenced by Islam, and they saw this idolatry going on and some of the Christians among them who were called iconoclasts emerged.

The Conquest of Istanbul, and fall of the Eastern Roman Empire. At the end of the hijri 9th century, and the 16th century according to gregorian calendar. Luther in Germany. Now, bear this in mind! This was a priest, Luther in Germany. Reform movements against the Popes. Religious and political. Protestantism had emerged.

Friends, Protestantism had emerged with these movements that are partly political and partly religious. In the 19th Council, he was excommunicated in the latirant sinon. That is, what did they do to Luther? They excommunicated him.

After this political excommunication it developed. It became an official madhab (school) in Sweden, Denmark, Prussia, England, and America. That is, Lutherism. All those that emerge due to reforms are called Protestantism. This is important! All those that emerge due to reforms are called Protestantism. The factions of this Lutherism are: Lutherism, Calvinism, Presbyterianism, Anglicanism, Anabaptism. There are factions like this. Anglicanism is the official madhab (school) of England, and it is closer to Catholicism. The difference is that they follow the King instead of the Pope. However, the Pope can’t be single. The prayers are in English, or translated into English. The ranks of the spiritual leaders are always the same. That is, the ranks of the spiritual leaders are always the same. The trinity belief of all Protestants is the same of the Catholics. As you see, they still could not attain tawhid (monotheism). The reforms did not bring any benefit to them. The Protestants are Murji’ah, they say the sins do not bring harm. They don’t care about deeds. You see, there are unrealistic differences such as these as well. The Protestants are Murji’ah, they say the sins are harmless, and they don’t care about the deeds. This is what they say. In their wisdom, they make use of four Bibles and appendixes that are called Kitab al-Ahd al-Atiq (Old Testament) and Al-‚Ahd al-Jadid (The New Contract). They distribute the sovereignty to the council of spiritual leaders. They are called pastors. There are no idols other than Isa (Jesus)’s crucifixion idol in their churches. The sovereignty is distributed to the spiritual leaders. The authority is distributed to the council of spiritual leaders. There are no idols other than Isa (Jesus)’s crucifixion idol in their churches. They believe in the original sin.
