Turkish English Tafsir Lesson 254-260
Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 254
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The reason behind me reminding you of this often is this: We live in the era when the sharia (law) of Islam has been brought forth, that is why Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim narrates us the past. However, as the sharia (law) of Islam is the one that renewed the past entirely, it will be the sharia (law) of whole humanity until the Hour. Therefore, the sharia (law) of Islam is the Quran and the Islam that Prophet Muhammad practiced. That is why the world should know that. This is for the benefit of everyone, it is to everyone’s detriment if they do not accept it. Allah has brought forth a saviour in every setting. Islam came to save humanity until the Hour. That is why when a person denies Islam it means that he has destroyed himself. Any other expression of this would be misleading.
Zechariah, Yahyā (John), Isa (Jesus), and Ilyas (Elijah), ʿalayhī mus-salām, had become distinguished examples in regards to detachment (zuhd) and self-devotion because both Zechariah and Yahyā (John) were martyred. As for Isa (Jesus), they wanted to crucify and kill him. Among them, Ilyas (Elijah) had also become a distinguished and exemplary Prophet in regards to detachment (zuhd) and self-devotion. Some refer to Ilyas (Elijah) as Idris. See, some call Ilyas (a.s.) as Idris. It is also said that he is a descendant of Harun (Aaron). And some claim he is actually Khidr. See, some say Ilyas (Elijah) was Khidr (a.s.). Some sources say just like Isa (a.s.) and Khidr (a.s.), Ilyas (Elijah) is also alive. Some say just like Isa (a.s.) and Khidr (a.s.), Ilyas (Elijah) is also alive.
Ilyas (Elijah) has been mentioned close to Isa (Jesus). Abu Hayyan says they are partners in not-being-dead. Abu Hayyan says that Isa (Jesus), Khidr, and Ilyas (Elijah) are partners in not-being-dead. That is, Abu Hayyan says it. But who is Abu Hayyan? Well, he is one of the greatest âlims of Islam.
Then again, Rafidhis say: Elijah. The Rafidhis have applied the name Elijah as Ilyas, to the name Ali. Even though some call Elijah, Yūšaʿ ibn Nūn, the name is applied as Elijah ibn al-Ajuz. In the recitations of Hamzah, Al-Kisa’i, Khalaf, and in the ten recitations, it is recited as Elyesea.
That is why in the word, iq’tadih which means follow the way of guidance, the “h” is not a pronoun, rather it is a mujarrad letter that holds the harakat of dâl as an al-sakta (pausing) letter.
Sākin is recited without vowels. It is a pronoun in the recitation of Ibn Amir. They said that the word Huda is râci. It is said that it is not recited and removed in wasl form in the recitations of Hamzah, Al-Kisa’i, Yaqoub, Halefül Aşir. About them, there are various kinds of recitations of these in Surah al-An’am [6]. We are mentioning these as preliminary notes, because there is benefit in pointing to these matters regarding our exegesis (tafsir) and discovery of the Quran.

Acknowledge the jalal (majesty) and jamal (beauty) attributes of Allah. The humanity needs to thoroughly acknowledge Allah’s attributes of jalal (majesty) and jamal (beauty) in order to know Allah Ta’ala. You need to acknowledge the attributes of jalal (majesty) and jamal (beauty) with a complete faith (iman), and know the power (qadr) of bounty (nimat) and mercy (rahmat) with a complete faith (iman). That is why Al-Quran Al-Karim brings forth becoming acquainted with Allah first. That is why you should know the power (qadr) of bounty (nimat) and mercy (rahmat), and pay respect to Allah’s glory.
So, how does one pay respect to Allah’s glory? How can one pay respect to the glory of Allah Ta’ala? Well, that can be done by having true faith (iman), true good deeds (amal-e-saleh), and abiding by the sharia laws of Allah, and not transgressing them. Sceptics and others say, “Allah does not intervene us.” See, sceptics and others who are like them say, “Allah does not intervene us.” They deny the Book and the Prophets. There are also those who say Allah has not sent anything down. These complete deniers and deviants. So, when you deny the Book and the Messenger of Allah Ta’ala… When you deny Al-Quran Al-Karim, the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad, Islam, and the sharia (law) of Islam; then you have already denied the entire past and future. Those who die with this denial before renouncing it have ruined themselves. We wish Allah to bestow guidance (hidayat) upon all humanity. That is the content, extent, and goal of our subject. It has been wished that all humanity will be saved with Islam which is a manifestation of mercy (rahmat) of Almighty Allah. Those who deny the Prophet and claim that Allah has not revealed anything have ruined themselves and their faiths (imans). People whose faiths (imans) are lost shall stay forever in jahannam (hell), and they will never be able to enter janna (paradise). Malik ibn Sayf, a Jewish rabbi, made the same mistake. This man was talking in the presence of our Prophet one day. This man called Malik ibn Sayf, a Jewish rabbi, was a big and fat fellow. After taking an oath by Allah, our Prophet asked the following to this rabbi after making him take an oath. See, he took an oath, and asked the following. Our Prophet (asw) asked, “I swear by Allah who has sent down the Torah to Musa (Moses), does it not say, ‘Allah (c.c.) hates fat scholars,’ in the Torah?” That is what our Prophet asked. See, the Torah says, “Allah curses fat scholars,” and the word “hates” is used here. Pay attention, it says, “hates.” Our Prophet asked him about this, and asked this to the rabbi by swearing by Allah. He made him swear he will tell the truth. See, then our Prophet said the following to him: “Look! You are a very fat scholar, and you got fat by what the Jews made you eat.” This rabbi was stuck in disbelief (kufr) so bad! May Allah shield us and all humanity from disbelief (kufr)! This rabbi, and he was the head of rabbis, and he claimed that Allah has not revealed anything. That is, he had denied Musa (Moses), the Torah, and everything.
Time Stamp: 10:55
As for the Jews, they said, “Shame on you!” Then, they dismissed him and assigned Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf to his place. This is another circumstance of revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl). There are circumstances of revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl) of every verse. This is the view of majority. They used to make the Torah into parchments. See, what did they do to Torah al-Sharif? They used to make it into parchments, conceal and distort it. Al-Quran Al-Karim has informed us of what they used to do to Torah, the enormities they have done. People who have done that to their own book naturally do not want to become Muslims. This is such a misfortune, and they have been throwing themselves into frustration. That is the gravest misguidance (dalalah), the gravest deprivation.
According to Ibn Kathīr and Abu Amr, the word “يَجْعَلُنَ” is recited with third-person pronoun. Al-Quran Al-Karim’s success (fayiz), light (nur), soul (ruh); its life-giving soul (ruh) has encompassed the universe. Whether they deny it or not, Al-Quran Al-Karim is such a holy book that its success (fayiz), light (nur), and its life-giving soul (ruh) has encompassed the universe because it is a completely pre-eternal (azali) utterance (kalam), and a guide of life. It is both the acknowledger of truth (musadiq) and guardian (muhaymin) of all true Holy Books of the past along with all Scriptures, and all Prophets of the past. That is why denying Al-Quran Al-Karim is equal to denying all values of the past, and denying the signs of the future as well. Ummul-Kura is a name of Makkah al-Mukarramah. The centre of the universe is Baitullah, which is Kaaba Shareef. It is the centre of the universe; both a centre and the qiblah. Thus, we have clarified the 92nd verse of Surah al-An’am [6] in Al-Quran Al-Karim that says ʾumma l-qurā. And we also see the truths when we take a look at the 28th verse of Surah Saba [34]. A group among the Jews claimed he is the Prophet of Arabs. He claimed that about our Prophet. They claimed Hz. Muhammad is the Prophet of Arabs. They are called Isawiyya madhab, and we say the following to those who claim that: Hz. Muhammad is the Prophet of all humanity, all ages, all nations, until the Hour. He is the last, and eternal Prophet. The sharia (law) of Islam… The last sharia (law) is that of Islam and the Quran.
Time Stamp: 15:05
Islam calls all ages to follow it, and it encompasses all ages. It incorporates newer provisions (hukm) than the innovations of every age. That is, as long as we value our mujtahids and be enlightened with their ijtihads, which is necessary. As you see, Isawiyya madhab claimed that our Prophet Muhammad was the Prophet of Arabs, and they even tried to spread this rumour to Europe. It is known that some people tried to spread this. That is a wrong opinion, a complete deviance. Hz. Muhammad is the Prophet of all nations for eternity. He has renewed all past sharias (laws). The religion of the world in the past is Islam, however Allah brought forth new sharias (laws) as conditions of time changed. That said, with Islam, the sharia (law) of the Quran, and Muhammad, Allah has renewed all.
That said, the word badī in the 101st verse means the creator of unprecedented. That is, Janâb-i Haqq created the universe out of nothing, in an unprecedented manner. Allah is the Creator of everything. The 105th verse says, “nuṣarrif” which means “to diversify”. Allah knows all methods and kinds of creating, and that is why various creatures have been created. Naturally, there have been impostors who tried to repel people from the Real (al-Haqq) by getting ahead of the truth in every era, and Musaylimah al-Kadhdhāb is among them. There have been impostor and liar “prophets” in every era, such as Al-Aswad al-Ansi, Amr ibn Luhay, and others. The sharia (law) of Islam and Al-Quran al-Karim have spoiled the games of all liars and impostors as Hz. Muhammad is the Last Prophet. Islam and the Quran will continue to spoil their games. Islam is a reality (haqiqa), and misguidance (dalalah) cannot take shelter next to it. Nadr ibn al-Harith of Ta’if is another driveller. He also spoke non-sense. Every age has its Nadr ibn al-Hariths. Every age has its Kadhdhābs (liars). Every age has its Amr ibn Luhays and those who are like them. However, Islam shall continue to enlighten all humanity forever and ever with reality (haqiqa) against all misguidance (dalalah), pitch-black darkness of disbelief (kufr) and deviancy. If people turn their backs to Islam, then they only harm themselves. One cannot harm neither Allah nor Islam. If you kill a Muslim, then he becomes a martyr, or a ghazi if he survives. A true Muslim will have lost nothing, nor will he be harmed because death is as real a law as life. You will die soon or later, and death does not happen until one’s specified term (ajal), or hour of death (ajal) comes. If death has come, then the term (ajal) has ended no matter the cause. Those who claim the contrary must have not comprehended the understanding of term (ajal) in the Quran. Unless one’s specified term of life comes to an end, he does not die. Regardless of the cause, if death has occurred, then a person’s term (ajal) has ended. Precautions were valid before death has occurred, no matter the cause, and if death has occurred, then it is over.
Time Stamp: 20:35
The term (ajal) has come, and that is why if precautions of humans could affect the exact hour of the term (ajal), then what would all doctors, physicians, sociologists, and states people, along with those who have the means would do? Those who had taken every precaution has died, right? Those whose term (ajal) is up die. His hour has come; and other people have different hours (ajal) but they always come. Everyone who has ever lived has either died or will die.
Therefore, in the 31st and 32nd verses of Surah al-Anfal [8], Janâb-i Haqq is narrating the broken psychologies of the faithless. They stand up to Al-Quran Al-Karim, and claim they are able to bring forth something like it, and they say, “Rain down upon us stones from the sky,” and they are requesting an immediate disaster from Allah; and they want to be destroyed.
Every should know this well: Allah’s laws are in effect in the universe. Their time of destruction has also been set to a law. Allah has designated everything with an ordainment (taqdeer) from pre-eternity (abad) to eternity (azal). The deniers are obliged to be struck by the laws of Allah according to their own circumstances, and believers are also obliged to strain through the justice of Allah according to those laws. The divine ordainment (taqdeer) has encompassed everyone. Nobody can get away with what they have done. They cannot get away no matter what. No matter who you are, you will not get away with what you have done. You will receive a reward if you have done good, and you will also get its requital if you have done evil. This is how divine laws have been arranged. The laws that are in effect in the universe are all divine laws. You cannot distort the divine laws no matter what you do. Come and try! Allah is telling you that you were given 50 to 100 years of a life-time. So, make it 101 if you are brave enough? Azrail (a.s.) takes your life instantly when that hour comes. Come and say you will not die, and do no die. Stand against death? Well, you cannot. You cannot object to that law. Now, you have been given free-will. Allah has given you a free-will, and placed you in a field of test. You may fill the paper however you want, with rights and wrongs, and Janâb-i Haqq has left you free. However, there is a set of laws that Allah has ordained (taqdeer), and there is a design of Allah. So, the moment the life-time you have been given comes to an end, nobody can afford doing anything even if the entire world stood against Azrail (a.s.) and said they will not let you die. Therefore, nobody should deceive themselves. Nafiʽ, Hafs, Al-Kisa’i, Abu Jafar, and others have recited it as, “baynakum” with the harakat of nūn.
Moreover, the 94th verse says that all links between you, and your polytheism (shirk), and everything you sought benefit from, have all been cut for eternity. See, whoever people pin hope on by leaving Allah, whether it is his lord, general, position, chair, leader, or pioneer; it is said that the links between whatever they pinned hope on, partners they associate, and everything they sought benefit from, have been cut for eternity. The links will be cut. Who were you following? Azrail (a.s.) will cut the link between you and that, and he will take you away. The links between you and those whom you pinned hope on besides Allah, regardless of who they are, will be cut for the eternity. That said, disputes and arguments will arise at the gates of Jahannam (Hell) between the leaders of the wrong path and those who follow them.
Time Stamp: 25:58
Those who followed them will say, “You had led us astray,” to those pioneers. And they will reply, “You had followed me with your own free-will.” What will Janâb-i Haqq do to them? “You are united in punishment. So, do not try to do anything vain,” and then the gates of jahannam (hell) will open, and everyone will be pushed into it. That is, you should be a man of right and reality in the world. You cannot escape by denying Allah, Al-Quran Al-Karim, Prophet Muhammad, and the divine order brought by him, the laws of Allah, and by attacking Allah. As nobody has any chance of escape by doing these, they also prepare their own eternal destruction by doing these. Is it not a pity? That is why the verse says that the link between them, the partners they associated, and everything they sought benefit from will be cut for eternity,” and they will be destroyed. Just take a look! How beautifully Janâb-i Haqq created this universe. Allah, the Creator of this universe, has placed you in the world which is a test field. Allah has placed you into bounties (nimat), and sent down Prophets to meet with us servants (qul), and gave us intellect (qul), gave us body and soul, gave us a will, gave us freedom, sent us down a book from the presence of Allah, and sent us down the ageless word (azali kalam). Are you denying all of these, or are you denying them partially? Do you know what some do? They believe in some of it, and disbelieve the rest. Al-Quran Al-Karim is not a playbook. It is not a book written by this or that either. It is not jigsaw puzzle of a person. It is the Book of Allah. Believe in it correctly! Believe correctly so that you may benefit yourself and others. Give your life to Azrail (a.s.) by having faith (iman) and Islam. Do you know what Yūsuf (Joseph) and all other Prophets say? They say, “My Allah! Make us live as Muslims, and take our lives as Muslims.” Do you think being a Muslim happens by empty talk?
You are a Muslim when you fully believe and practice Islam which has been brought forth by Allah in regards to belief (itiqad), actions (amal), morals (akhlaq), and law (huquq). That said, let us hear the prayer (dua) of all Prophets.
They say, “My Allah! Make us live as Muslims, and take our lives as Muslims.” Everybody knows certainly that they will die. Prophets wanted to live as Muslims, and die as Muslims.
The hodja recites original text of the prayer (dua) of Prophets in Arabic.
That is a prophetic prayer (dua).
So, what does Janâb-i Haqq say while introducing Ibrahim? Allah says that he is a hanif Muslim. We look at other Prophets, and they are all Muslims. They all pray (dua) to Allah to live Islam and die by having Islam. Today, some people came forth and they misunderstand and misrepresent a valuable Prophet who had lived in a period of time in past ages, who was sent to a period of time in the past. They worship a servant (qul) of Allah, calling him Allah. Is that even possible? Allah sent that Prophet entirely open and honest, and he has done his duty correctly, but you are misunderstanding that Prophet.
Time Stamp: 30:30
Whoever deviates from the way of the Real (al-Haqq) and go astray will have ruined himself, and he will have slandered the Prophet whom he misrepresented, and associated a partner with Allah. One of the gravest slanders is to associate partners with Allah. There is no god but Allah! You are divinizing a beloved servant (qul) whom Allah created, and you are worshipping him. That is slander to Allah, and slander to that Prophet. This is nothing but throwing yourself directly into frustration. That is to ruin yourself for the eternity because there is no amnesty to polytheism (shirk) or disbelief (kufr). The possessor of polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), and hypocrisy (nifaq) will never be able to get out of jahannam (hell). Can one deny Allah? Can one associate partners with Allah? Allah has no equals or comparables, and is the only Being who is One in every regard.
That is why we will understand the past when we understand the glorious Quran well because the fundamentals (amantu) of Islam include all past Prophets. The fundamentals (amantu) of Islam include all holy books of the past along with angels, belief in afterlife (ākhira), resurrection upon death, qada (decree), and destiny (qadar). The real values of belief that narrate you who the Creator is; who is the Creator of all that is good and evil are all present in the fundamentals (amantu) of Islam. Islam is universal faith (iman). Islam is a pre-eternal (azali) and eternal (abadi) faith (iman). Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), Ibrahim (Abraham) are all present in the fundamentals (amantu) of Islam. It is Islam that understands and represents them correctly. The notions of those who misunderstand them are non-Islamic notions, and they have no correlation whatsoever with the truth. Now, let us continue giving certain notes regarding the 95th to 101st verses. From Ibn Kathīr, Abu Amr, and Yaqoub; in the Ravh recitations or qiraat, the word فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ is recited as fe-müstegirrun with ism al-fāʿil. This note of ours is about the 98th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].
Then again, dear friends, the word fāliqu means to split, to crack. The word l-ḥabbu means grain, hayseed. The word ennevatü is tree seeds, kernel. Nüveyye, which is called in the West as nuvoyya. This is how the West adopted these from Islam. The Westerners adopted it from here. Now, there is an unknown truth that has been veiled. Today, the fundamental origin of the real sciences that are in the West are the hints in the Quran and discovery notes of Islamic scholars (âlims). The West adopted it from Islam, even up to this nuvoyya thing. That is why ennevatü means tree seed, and Al-Quran Al-Karim calls it ennevatü. As for nuvoyya, the West adopted it from here, and they call it nuvoyya.
Time Stamp: 35:00
A seed falls to the ground, and who created the essence (asl) of all seed? Just think! There is a Creator who created the essence (asl), and that is Allah Ta’ala, who created everything out of nothing. Just take a look at a single seed! A single seed falls to the ground, and the movement starts, and it starts sprouting. It cracks itself from below and above, and it cracks. Pay attention! The seed starts cracking from below and above, and it sprouts, then from the crack above two seed-leaves starts rising up. See the trees that rise up. The crack from below extends below the soil, and fringes occur. This time, roots go below the soil. They go up, and rise to heavens, and some of it stays above the soil while some of it continues to extend below. Those fringes are tiny and soft. Just think, the soft and puny seed that has cracked, a single grain, a single seed that cracked reveals a delicate green. See that soft and delicate crack for a moment. Its fringes are able to crack even most solid rocks. Those delicate fringes that come out of that seed; look at the delicate cracks that form on that seed. See how it penetrates solid rocks, and extend towards the heavens. There is a harmony, an order. Just take a look and see what they are doing. They sustain their function, and this harmonious order continues its process. The crust of tree, essence, streak, root, body, branches, leaves, flowers, lights, colours, odours, tastes, fruits and so much more come from that crack, and these all show an omnipotence (qudrah) that is above the forces of the nature. These are signs of the proofs of the holy omnipotence (qudrah) that influence, execute, and reign over the forces of nature, which show us that we are incapable. These are all manifest proofs of the holy omnipotence (qudrah). That is, from that single seed to the depths of the world, and the planets and galaxies in the space, just contemplate. These are all manifest proofs of the holy omnipotence (qudrah). They were all created, and what do they do to prove the Creator? They say, “We have been created, and we are works and documents of the Creator.” The entire universe says the name of Allah; everyone and every atom is calling us to Allah. They say, “We have been created, acknowledge the Creator and bow down to the Creator.” The voice of meaning has been resonating throughout the universe. Let them study the anatomy and fabric of it, and the fruit emerges with all its properties. Pay attention! If you are able to study a single seed, then do it. Study the anatomy of a single seed. Study its fabric, and what will happen when you study it? The fruit will emerge with all its properties.
Time Stamp: 40:00
However, humanity is unable to do that, but is trying to do something to the extent of their ability. It would benefit if they do it by believing, but some people live in the dominion (mulk) of the Creator and eat from the bounty (nimat) without believing and by denying. See, they take shelter in the dominion of the Creator, but they deny the Creator. There will be heavy repercussions of that. There has been heavy repercussions, and there will be in the future as well. Fruits are born, and these are indeed ordainment (taqdeer) of Allah.
Dearest friends,
In the 22nd and 23rd verses of Surah al-Qiyamah [75], it is said that those who long for Allah Ta’ala and long for the Beauty (Jamal) will one day see the Beauty (Jamal) of their Rabb (Lord).
Now, we clearly see this universe Allah has designed along with the bounties (nimat), works that have been created, the Book, the Messenger, and the order that Allah has established. First of all, we see that we have been created, and then we will also see the Beauty (Jamal) of Allah. There will be souls who enjoy seeing the Beauty (Jamal) of Janâb-i Haqq the way you see the moon at day. So, let us give this glad tiding as a side note here. People other than Aasim, Hamzah, Al-Kisa’i, and other imams of other ten recitations have recited this as, “ve câ ilülleyli sekenen.” We are referring to other recitations (qiraat) here as well so that we remember them as notes here.
Allah (c.c.) is al-Qadir (The Omnipotent One), and is without a partner, an equal, nor a rival. Allah is the unique âlim, the All-Knowing. How could Allah create this universe had Allah not knew everything? Allah knows everything, and knows all methods of creating, and Allah is all-able to do anything. These are not some random natural occurrences. If you see this creation, universe, order, and occurrences are naturally occurring things or as a coincidence, then you have lost your eyes, you have lost your ears, and you have lost your intellect (aql). You should reactivate your spiritual and physical abilities, and try to get to know Allah, and ask Allah for guidance (hidayat). Don’t you destroy your spiritual and physical abilities and deny Allah, or you will make yourself blind, deaf, and mute for eternity, and you will topple yourself down, which will be a pity. Just take a look into botanic, zoology, arithmetic, astronomy, meteorology and others and learn them. The universe is filled to the brim with knowledge (ilm), and even a single hair has knowledge that can fill thousands of books. A single hair, a single grain, a single seed, a single leaf has so many divine books of knowledge, and that is if you can study them and carry out scientific research. Do you know what kind of divine knowledges are in a single hair? There is so much knowledge in even a single hair that if you were able to calculate its creation, then you would have written so many books to narrate its content that their pages would cover the East and the West. Its pages would have extended towards the heavens, and books would extent towards hearts.
Time Stamp: 45:00
That is why you should learn botanic, zoology, arithmetic, astronomy, meteorology and others well, and compete in science. The religion of Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim invites people to compete in science. Tells them to compete in science. That is not by denying Allah, but by obeying Allah with a complete faith (iman). We are not talking about a materialist system of education, rather with a system of education that has been acquainted with Allah and is at Allah’s command. The world is but a nation, and what is national education here? It is to be educated by knowing Allah by holding the Book that Allah brought forth in high esteem, and treat it with great respect. Your work will go in vain if you do it by neglecting the Book that came from Allah. Your endeavours and beneficial work will be left in the world, and they will not reflect to the grave or great gathering (mahshar), rather your disbelief (kufr) and denial will reflect to the great gathering (mahshar). All your endeavours and beneficial work will be left in the world because you came to the presence of Allah with disbelief (kufr) and denial. He who denied has lost everything. The following reminds us that.
Hodja recites a part of the 98th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].
The word istiqrar is settlement or establishment. The word istida is to entrust. The cause is not the cause is not the essence (asl), the Creator is. It is Allah Ta’ala who creates everything, and every cause. The first cause of all causes is Allah, because it is Allah who created every cause. Do not forget that the cause is not the essence (asl), the Creator is! That said, the sole Creator of all universe is nobody but Allah Ta’ala. Allah has no partners, no equals, no rivals. Allah is the sole creator without a partner, equal, or rival. That is how Allah is introduced to us by Allah. We have to know Allah the way Allah introduced Allah to us.
Saying that there are two Allah’s by reading someone’s made-up book and divinizing creatures is nothing but slander to Allah. Everyone besides Allah have been created, and they are all creatures. Creatures cannot be deities, not partially nor in any other way. The creatures are creatures, that is it. As for the Creator, there is only One. That is why fiqh is the name of understanding the divine laws well.
Dearest friends! The divine laws must be understood well. Fiqh is to understand something with its cause and wisdom, and to know your soul (nafs). O people! O servants (qul) of Allah! O humanity! In order to understand something with its cause and wisdom, you need to listen to what Allah has narrated at first, and understand it.
See, Allah personally narrates Al-Quran Al-Karim. Allah has sent it down, and it is Allah’s own utterance (kalam). It is a beginningless (azali) and eternal (abadi) utterance (kalam). So, listen and understand Al-Quran Al-Karim well so that you may get your share of fiqh. Our Prophet is the best person who understand, narrate, spread, implement, and establish Islam. He did what he did according to the command he received from Allah Ta’ala. The person who primarily understood the cause and wisdom of everything and narrated it to people of the world is Hz. Muhammad. That said, as he knew himself and his soul (nafs) well, he was always humble, and he was prostrating (sajdah) while worshipping Allah. You see, he worshipped the Rabb (Lord) with every fibre of his being, and lived in the poorest setting that poorest man has lived, and he worked for the better good of all humanity, and he implemented the real justice to every person on the planet and all creatures, and established the principles of Allah. See, he stayed in the world and fulfilled the divine values, and then walked towards Almighty Allah.
Time Stamp: 50:40
That is why it is not possible for anyone to go in the right path by denying and ostracizing the Prophet, and or by denying the holy laws and the book that Allah (c.c.) brought forth. You may do something in the world, and do certain beneficial work in the world just like you have harmful work. Yet, nothing you did will be useful in the grave and in the great gathering (mahshar) if you don’t have faith (iman) and good deeds (amal-e-saleh).
Just like the 22nd verse of Surah Ali Imran [3] says, “their works have failed.” So, do not ever deny the holy values Allah brought forth. That said, you need to correctly know whatever is in jurisprudence (fiqh) whether it is for or against you, along with the laws in the order of Allah Ta’ala whether they are for or against you; or you should abide by someone who knows. The keys of tahqiq (inquisition) and tahlil (analysis) along with synthesis; they keys of all these have been given. The keys of tahqiq (inquisition) and tahlil (analysis) have been given. Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam has given all the hints. The analysis is out there, the synthesis is out there, and what befalls humanity is to work on faith (iman), good deeds (amal-e-saleh) and justice. Humanity should work honestly and correctly. They need to progress from discovery to discovery, advancement to advancement, development to more development, growth to more growth. They need to make moves upon moves, and work with an utter dynamism. Scientific studies must be sped up, and scientists should be attached the greatest value. Scientists should not never be left under the influence of imposers and tyrants. Scientists should carry out their research properly in an objective manner, and the groundwork must be laid for them.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 255
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Humanity has progressed when proper respect and value is given to knowledge (ilm), science, Islamic scholars (âlims), scientists, mujtahids, explorer ulama, experts of fiqh (faqihs). Nations and states have progressed. Social justice gained wide currency. It is when incompetent and ignorant tyrants became predominant that humanity started losing a lot. Humanity had been harmed. That is where reactionism, bigotry, and tyranny (zulm) resides. That is where charred souls blossom, and the enlightened ones are destroyed. Just take a look at history! See those who sided with science, the real experts of fiqh (faqihs) and mujtahids, and the settings that supported discoveries, and how progress came with them. It is when Muslims withdrew from Al-Quran Al-Karim they tumbled down into pits of ignorance. Right now, if the Muslims are in misery, then it is because they drew away from Al-Quran Al-Karim, sciences of Islam, the religion of knowledge. It is because they drew away from Al-Quran Al-Karim in terms of creed (itiqad), deeds (amal) morals (akhlaq), and law (huquq). Other nations rise if they relinquish the wrong. That said, as the holy values of Muslims are right and reality, when they relinquish those holy values and turn their back on the Quran and its holy values, then that nation will topple over and become miserable. Why? Because others has risen because they relinquished the wrongs, and they progressed materially in the world. Yet, spiritually, they rapidly rot from inside. There is such a situation with them. Meaning, they are rotting from inside. They are rotting humanity. Why? Because humanity needs true justice, true morals (akhlaq), and true belief before bread, water, or air. You cannot neglect the spiritual aspect of a person, belief is necessary. You need to nourish the body, but you should also nourish your soul. A soul is nourished with true science and true belief.
That is the faith (iman) of Islam that Allah Ta’ala brought forth, along with the good deeds (amal-e-saleh) of Islam, and the sacred morals (akhlaq) of Allah, and Allah’s beautiful social justice and law system. See the crop farms that stand like cavalry troops, pointing their spears, as if they are in battle order! The circumstance of crop farms… See the crop farms, as though as if they are in battle order, as though they were designed like cavalry troops, pointing their spears. See other creations of Allah such as vegetables and fruits! See the seas and what is beneath them, inside the oceans, and to skies, stars, planets, and galaxies! It is apparent that they emerged by the creation of an Almighty Creator. Education (tarbiya), progress (taraqqi), and success (fayiz). Just take a look, you can see these in the universe in proper fashion. Everything has been created with laws of tarbiya, taraqqi, and fayiz. Do you see the progress? Life is renewed non-stop, and progress continues. Think about the phases a zygote goes through before a baby is born! See the growth and development of a child! See the growth of the grains and seed of all botanical products! See the renewal and development in this universe!

One cannot shut his eyes to all this, and scientist are those who work closest to reality or haqiqa in order to observe this truth through scientific research. They are the closest ones to reality. Scientists who carry out scientific research on truth by believing in the Real (al-Haqq) shed light to the world. However, those who become obsessed with materialism by denying Allah will stay as materialists, atheists, naturists, etc. They cannot find the Real (al-Haqq). You will be late if you have not primarily met with the Creator, become obsessed with material and deny the Creator of material and meaning. On top of that, woe to you if Azrail (a.s.) comes early while you are late, and if he comes before you adopted faith (iman). Do not while away the time, rather have full faith in Allah and Islam.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 256
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Naturally, people do what is due when they believe in the truth and reality. Now, some say there is similarity between date and living creatures, some philosophers say that and Fakhr al-Din al-Razi had announced this circumstance. Just conduct a through research on date-palm, it has human-like aspects. Also, let us see the revelation-based aspect of this. Let us see what our Prophet, Glorious Master (asw) says about date: “Show respect to the date tree, which is your aunt. For, this tree was created from the soil that remained (tiynet) from the creation of Adam.” There is al-Jaami‘ as-Sagheer among the sources of this narration. So, it means that there were remains (tiynet) from the creation Adam (a.s.), and date was created from the soil that remained after. That is, our Prophet calls date out aunt because it was created from the remaining soil (tiynet) from the creation of our father Adam (a.s.). See, the narration goes, “Show respect to the date tree, which is your aunt. For, this tree was created from the soil that remained (tiynet) from the creation of Adam.”
Now, about tiynet, you know of the earthenware vessels that are done with clay, let it cool down after you make it and it will make a “tin-tin” noise when you tap it. It is said that date was created from that tiynet. Therefore, the remaining soil and clay had become something that make the “tin-tin” noise when you hit it, therefore it was filtered out. It is said that Adam (a.s.) was created from that tiynet. It is said that date was created from what remained of it, which is your aunt.
As for grape, it is the best of creation fruit-wise, and its seed is also very useful. This is a medical view that Islamic doctors put forth. All the bounty (nimat) that is halal, and not made haram by Janâb-i Haqq including fruits, vegetables, plants and live animals are valuable. Those among them which are halal, that Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim called halal are all valuable. That said, some of them are higher in value than others. For example, date and grape are two of these, but not all. Doctors have a consensus in this matter, and this is due to properties of grape and its seed. Grape and its delicate and moist seed is good for stomach.
Then again, the jinn are mentioned. The word jinn means concealment, veiling, and they are hidden creatures. The 158th verse of Surah al-Saffat [37] says, “They have made kinship between Allah (c.c.) and the jinn.” This is another kind of polytheist, an idolater that fell into polytheism (shirk). There cannot be kinship between Allah and angels, jinn, nor anyone else. Hz. Muhammad is the greatest Prophet, and the most Beloved. He is a beloved servant (qul) of Allah. Yet, he is but a servant (qul), a Prophet. He is the greatest servant (qul), yet a servant (qul), a Prophet. This goes for Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), and others as well. The angels were created out of light (nūr), but they are servants (qul) of Allah. The jinn were created out of fire, but they are servants (qul) of Allah. Therefore, jinn, angels, Prophets, and others cannot be worshipped.
Time Stamp: 5:00
Nobody can be worshipped because Allah has no equals or comparables, and nobody else is a deity. Is it right to worship servants (qul) of Allah? Allah has servants (qul) who have high-degrees, but they are still servants (qul). Prophets are servants (qul) of Allah. Is it okay to worship a Prophet just because his position and rank are high? Let’s say someone fought well, had been a good commander, a good soldier, a good marshal; should we worship a marshal now? Let’s say another became a good wrestler who topples down whoever he lays his hands on, should we worship him now? Let’s say another became a well-versed scholar (âlim), should we worship an âlim now? The world needs to get out of this wrong perversion. There is no god besides Allah. Be a servant (qul) to Allah, and stop worshipping servants slavishly! Today, you and I may have heroes, but tomorrow another hero may become. Will you stop worshipping him and start worshipping the new one then? Those whom you worship besides Allah are all false deities (taghut), idols, and polytheism (shirk). If you worship dignified people, then you are slandering them as well. Do not do that! That is why there is a zindiqship going on, and zindiq is an epithet of all Magians or Majus. The 100th verse is also about zindiqs. See, we continue with the verses of Surah al-An’am [6]. The 100th verse is one that is sent down about zindiqs. It is about Magians and etc. Zindiqs claim Allah created the good, and the Shaitan created the evil, this is zindiqship. It is Allah who created good and evil, and everything. However, why did Allah create evil? Well, the servant (qul) earns and wants. So, unless the servant (qul) surely wants, and uses his means in evil freely it is not created. It is not created unless the servant (qul) freely endeavours in evil or good. That is, servant (qul) wants, and Allah creates. It would not be a test if it was not like this, there would not be freedom. The mindset that attribute creatorship to the Shaitan is exalting the Shaitan. Then, some of them do not attribute creatorship to the Shaitan, but they do that to humans, and say people create. People cannot create anything, they can only request, and Allah can create. The only means they have is to request, which has been given to humans by Janâb-i Haqq. Every creature has been given certain means. Now, a sheep for example, it uses his means to eat grass. Does it create the grass? Or does it utilize the ability it has been given to eat it? Well, humans perform actions, but they utilize the given ability in that action. They cannot create anything. The Creator is still Allah Ta’ala. Humans can utilize their ability either in sin or reward. Allah creates as the servant (qul) requests, and there is no Creator besides Allah in any regard. That said, the ahlul bid’ah views that deny free-will have also been wrong, and they went astray. Those who deny fate (qadar) have also went astray along with those who deny free-will. Those who claim people create their own actions have also been wrong. There is no Creator besides Allah. That said, the servant (qul) earns and Allah creates. This is a necessity of creation, and a necessity of the fact that servants (qul) have been left free.
Time Stamp: 10:00
If you attribute servant (qul) creatorship just because it has been left free, then you are divinizing human beings, and you are not even aware. Zindiqs divinize the Shaitan, they ascribe him with creatorship. Some people ascribe others with creatorship. These are wrong! That is why, my friends… The zindiqs claimed Allah creates good and Shaitan creates evil. The word ehremen means iblīs in Islam. The Magians call light (nūr) Allah. They say good is from light (nūr), and evil is from ehremen.
Dearest friends!
The address of every truth is Islam. If you wish to learn everything correctly, which you should, then you will learn it from Islam, the Quran, sunnah (customs), ijma (consensus), and the school (ecole) of Ahlus-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah. This knowledge came to us intact, and it will continue to be intact forever. You can’t abandon truth and look for it in wrong things, you can’t find it that way. You need to look for truth in truth. There are madhabs or schools like Maniheizm, and Mezdekiyye who accept two gods, along with Lisaniyye, and Marcionites who believe in Trinity. That is, there are different views among the Magians and Zoroastrians; there are these madhabs or schools. It is “zandik” in Persian, and “zindīq” in Arabic. Now, about zanādiqa (pl. of zindīq) and Sanawiyyah: Among zanādiqa (pl. of zindīq) and Sanawiyyah, there are even people who married their mothers and sisters, and they are surely perverts. They have deviated, they have been deceived and placed into their setting. As for Khurramites, they do not believe in halal and haram. This is important! Today, so many wrong things have got mixed-into the books written in the name of tasawwuf and they came from these people. These wrongs came from Hinduism, and Zoroastrianism, along with Western and Greek philosophies, and so many other places. Therefore, wrong is wrong whether it belongs to East or West. Islam rejects all wrongs. That is why the world needs to enlighten with the light of Islam, and find the truth.
They do not believe in halal and haram. That is, the Khurramites. There is also Ibahiyyah. Be wary of them! For the Ibahiyyah madhab, everything is the same. There is no halal or haram for them. As for Mezdekiyye and Ishtiraqiyyah, they claim goods and women are common property. Mezdekiyye and Ishtiraqiyyah madhabs claim goods and women are common property. They fancy this perversion. That is a terrible perversion, and they progress from one perversion to the other. Our discoverers said all Magians are under the category of zindīq due to the Zand-Avesta of Zoroaster. Those who know the truth of the matter well have brought forth these truths so that people may not fall into these wrongs. They have other madhabs or schools as well.
Time Stamp: 15:10
That said, what did Iblīs who was a jinn did regarding the divine and godly commands? He transgressed. Besides, he became the Iblīs because he transgressed the commands of Allah, and he also abandoned hope. He abandoned hope from the mercy (rahmat) of Allah. And in the end, he was driven away from the mercy. That is why there is Iblīs afront all wrongs in the world. Iblīs is afront every wrong. Iblīs is present afront polytheism (shirk), or he is hidden behind a veil. There are human devils and jinn devils. Those who follow an astray path are all there. Everyone in the wrong path are included in that group. In Persian it is called, “Yazdān”. They refer to light as Yazdān, and they refer to Ahraman as zulmat (darkness).
They have a crazy belief that suggest there has been a battle between the armies of light and darkness, and angels participated in it. “There has been a battle between armies of light and darkness, and angels intervened. The inferior world (al-ālam al-suflī) was given to Ahraman. There has been an agreement that shall last 7.000 years, and then they shall hand it over to light (nūr).”
Now, Zarwaniyah and Zarwan had fallen into doubt, and Ahraman the Devil occurred from this doubt. This is another crazy belief and claim they make. Some claim Zarwan had groaned with grief for 9999 years for his son, and then an idea formed, and Ahraman came out from it. That is, he brought forth Iblīs (the Devil). And they claimed Ahura Mazdah came forth from his knowledge (ilm), meaning they were born as twins. See, this is another one of their perverse claims. They claim Ahraman cheated, meaning the Shaitan played a trick to Ahura Mazdah, and got out of his mother’s belly by opening it, and then conquered the world. That is, the Shaitan got out of his mother’s belly before and conquered the world.
These are zindīq ideas. There are madhabs or schools in Zanādiq, Zarwaniyah, and the Magians; these are their perverse views. We are giving hints as preliminary notes because these are related to the topic. They say Yazdān is a God, light. Ahura Mazdah, an angel. Zulmat (darkness) is jahannam (hell), meaning the Iblīs. They talk about a threefold management. Now, there is this type of threefold belief in them. They call Yazdān a God. They call light Ahura Mazdah, an angel. They call z̤ulmat (darkness) Ahraman, or Iblīs, and they bring forth a threefold deity.
Just like the “third of the trinity,” concept of the Christians. Zanādiqa (pl. of zindiq) suggest there is a creator of good and a creator evil, and the Sanawiyyah brought forth the belief of two gods that are brothers, and among the sources of this information there is Ibn-i Abbas, these are news we received from him. Radeyallahu anhum wa ardahum ajmain. If you ask who is Ibn-i Abbas, then he is son of Abbas who is uncle of Hz. Muhammad (asw); and he is one of the greatest Islamic scholars (âlims) of companions (sahabah).
Factual material has been presented by Janâb-i Haqq to us servants (qul) in the 158th verse of Surah al-Saffat [37]. This verse refers to all Magians. That is, short but to the point discovery notes have been given about Magians, and they have been referred to here. A great stupidity, and deviancy… There are these wrong views among the Magians that suggest Ahura Mazdah and Ahriman are sons of God.
Time Stamp: 20:35
It is nobody but Allah who created the first creature among every specie. It is Allah who created everything. Almighty Allah is the Almighty Creator. Ibda, mabda, maad, bedîun, and mûbdî is Janâb-i Haqq, who created everything out of nothing.
The word mûbdî is true inventor who always invent, Almighty Allah creates out of nothing. Allah has given abilities and skills to servants (qul) so that they may carry out scientific research. Every person has a different ability. Everyone should work in the direction of their ability, and do beneficial work. Besides, it is impossible for the nature to be by itself. It is impossible for anything to originate by itself. Nothing can originate by itself, and it is impossible for nature to originate by itself. Allah created nature and the entire universe. That is why an inventor is necessary for this nature and this universe; they are in need of a Creator. Al-Khalq (the Creator) is Allah Ta’ala.
The word baari also means creator, which is Allah Ta’ala. It means -to make -to construct. As for the word uful (ﺍﻓﻮﻝ) means -to set. Things like the moon and the stars rise and set, this is called uful (ﺍﻓﻮﻝ). The word hudus means that which occurs later. The word ceâl means -to make. The word imbat means -to grow from the earth. The word ismâr is -to give fruit. The word ikmal is -to fulfil. The word ismâr means -to give fruit.
See, it is Allah who created all laws and everything related with these. As for ikmal, it means -to fulfil. Everything has been created in a proper manner. That is, there is a fulfilment, therefore ikmal has occurred; and the laws of Janâb-i Haqq are in effect in the universe. Reproduction, progress, innovation, and life continues. That which reproduces with a mother is called monomer. For example, let’s say someone came into existence with a mother but there is no father, that is called monomer. Isa (a.s.) is a monomer. Now, Adam (a.s.) had no mother and no father. He was created completely out of nothing. As for souls (ruh), they are creatures of Almighty Allah. It is Allah who created all souls.
As for the word mâsivâ, everything other than Allah is called mâsivâ. That is, mâsivâ is creatures of Allah. Whatever there is in existence besides Allah is called mâsivâ. It is Allah Ta’ala who personally created the entire mâsivâ. That is why souls are creatures, they are Allah’s innovation, creation. That said, all mâsivâ are creatures, created by Allah, invented by Allah. That is, they are of Allah’s creation, and Allah’s innovation. As for Allah’s person, that is a necessity of Allah’s own being. Allah is eternally and pre-eternally wajib al-wūjūd (necessary existent). Allah Ta’ala is the Living, Al-Qayyūm. Allah is the Living, Al-Hayy Al-Qayyūm. Allah is the One who holds, protects, and sustains everything.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 257
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
It is Allah who protects everything. It is Allah Ta’ala who sustains the universe, and a partner for Allah is impossible. Allah has no partners, no rivals, no equals; that is utterly impossible. The Creator does not partner with creatures because what is created is in need of Allah. How can they become partners? That is why polytheists (mushrikun) have no intellect (aql) whatsoever. Those who associate partners are using their intellect (aql) for evil. Absolute perfection belongs to Allah. Absolute perfection, holy omnipotence (qudrah), all perfect attributes (sifāt), holy attributes (sifāt), and holy names along with absolute sovereignty, and absolute power (qudrah) belongs to Allah.
Hodja partly recites the 2nd verse of Surah al-Furqan [25].
Because intellect-wise Allah is an exception, because Allah is the creator of everything. That is why there is insight (basirat). Allah Ta’ala has given mankind insight (basirat). We see so many truths when we read the 111st verse of Surah al-An’am. People with blocked insights deny Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad even if angels are sent down to them, and the dead spoke to them, and all miracles were shown to them manifestly. They deny even if they witness all that. Why? Because their insight (basirat) has been blocked. If one’s insight (basirat) is blocked, then it means he has earned disbelief (kufr) himself.
That is, if his disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), hypocrisy (nifaq), and ignorance has blocked his insight (basirat), then he has taken the chance to believe from himself. That is why even if all miracles were shown to people with blocked insights, even if angels came down, even if the dead spoke to them, and even if they witness all these, they will still not believe in Al-Quran Al-Karim. They will still not believe in Prophet Muhammad. They will not believe even if you ascend them to heavens and show all the universe to them. Why? That is because their insight or basirat is close. Al-Quran Al-Karim mentions those whose hearts have been sealed. May Allah not make us among them!
Now, let us give our notes regarding the verses between the 102nd and 107th verses.
Your possessor, educator, and benefactor is the Most Holy, and Almighty Being, who is Allah Ta’ala (c.c.). Allah is our possessor. Allah is our educator. Allah is our benefactor. Allah Ta’ala (c.c.) is the Most Holy and Almighty Being. Allah created causes. It is only Allah Ta’ala who created the world of causes with truth and justice. This is important! It is only Allah Ta’ala who created causes, world of causes, with truth and justice. That is how Allah created. See the 22nd verse of Surah al-Mujadilah [58] and you will see so many truths. The confederates of Allah have found salvation. That is, those who are on the side of Allah.
Time Stamp: 5:00
Those who sided with Islam, the Quran, Muhammad, and Sunnah (customs) have found salvation. And those who are not on the side of Allah are all in misguidance (dalalah), disbelief (kufr), and polytheism (shirk). There is Islam on Allah’s side, there is Muhammad, there is Al-Quran Al-Karim, and there are true Muslims who thoroughly believe in these sacred values. Allah has sent Islam to invite all humanity here. Islam is the religion (din) of all nations. If someone is deprived of this reality, rahmat al-rahman, rahmat al-rahim, then it means he has deprived himself of it.
Now, pay attention to the following verse of the Quran and see what Janâb-i Haqq says in the 22nd verse of Surah al-Mujadilah [58].
Hodja recites a part of the said verse.
The verse says the confederates of Allah are felicitous. It is said that those who are felicitous are those who found salvation. That is, those who are on Allah’s side. Who are they? Well, they are those who thoroughly believe in the religion on Islam, and fulfilled their beliefs as is due, and obeyed Allah and not rebelled. Everyone shall endeavour to be a good Muslim to the extent of their ability. See the 56th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5]. “The confederates of Allah shall be victorious. They have always been victorious, and they will continue to be forever.
Hodja recites a part of the said verse.
Janâb-i Haqq says that in this verse. Indeed, the confederates of Allah have been victorious, and they will be victorious. Also, see the 5th verse of Surah al-Fatihah [1], what does it say? “You alone do we worship, and to you alone do we turn for help.” The next verse says, “Guide us on sirat al-mustaqim (the straight path)” As for sirat al-mustaqim (the straight path), it is Islam itself, and the Islamic nation itself, and their leader is Hz. Muhammad. Those who follow his lead are münamün-alayhim. They are people whom Allah blessed and favoured, and their leader if Hz. Muhammad (asw).
“I see the minaret itself even if I close my eyes.”
Just close your eyes for a moment, you see many things that you see while your eyes are open, and you can see them even with your eyes closed. We see that Janâb-i Haqq has bestowed so many things upon people’s inner worlds. See, “I see the minaret itself even if I close my eyes, and I perceive it in its place.” These are abilities, skills, senses, cognizance, contemplation, thought, understanding, and perfect mevhūm (visions) that Janâb-i Haqq has given to us servants (qul), and these are not illusions or misgivings, rather the truths.
It is said even the light becomes light the moment it reaches the eye. So, when does light become light? It is said the moment it meets the eye it becomes light. Only then it shines, and sight occurs at that moment. Otherwise… Well, this is important. Pay attention to when light becomes light, even the light becomes light the moment it meets the eyes, and only then it shines, and only then sight occurs.
Time Stamp: 10:02
You will understand many things if you contemplate on this a little bit. The mystery and nature of contemplation is beyond the comprehension of human intellect (aql). See, the mystery and nature of contemplation is beyond the comprehension of human intellect (aql). Just evaluate the intellect (aql) and comprehension you have been given. These things are beyond what? Well, the mystery and nature of human contemplation is beyond the comprehension of human intellect (aql). These are superhuman creations, and they have been given to us servants (qul) by Allah. That is, all creation is the work of the Creator who is above nature. This is work of the omnipotence (qudrah) and reigns over all things. You see a minaret that sits in its place with round eyes, how does that happen? Ask yourself, and you can perceive it when you close your eyes. Contemplate how this power of comprehension is given to you. At this point, stem fields, philosophies and philosophers are dazzled, and they are in deep fallacy. That is, exceptions never break the rule, and we are not referring to them. They are stuck in fallacies. Nobody can save himself from fallacies by denying the Creator. For one thing, you need to know the Creator the way it suits the glory of the Creator. You need to know the Creator the way the Creator describes oneself. That is not as this or that person introduces the Creator. That is the way the Creator introduces oneself. Al-Quran Al-Karim is Allah’s book. Therefore, Allah introduces oneself to us with the Quran. Allah introduces oneself with asmāʾ (names) and qualities (evsaf), you need to know correctly. Allah makes eyes perceive, and encompasses them. Allah encompasses the eyes. See, Allah makes eyes see, and encompasses them. As for the light of cognizance, it is a favour (lutf) of Allah. Pay attention! These are being explored and narrated to you. No science can explain these to you like this. There cannot be greater and more sacred discovery. That is when the world understands Al-Quran Al-Karim that they will understand true knowledge (ilm) is present in the Quran, because the Quran explores the universe. What do people do? Well, they know how to benefit from the entire universe in the best possible manner with the Quran. That is why Allah Ta’ala has given hints to us servants (qul) in Al-Quran Al-Karim. Allah established the order of true social justice with Islam. That is why Almighty Allah encompasses eyes and comprehension. Every favour (lutf) is from Allah. Cognizance ability is also a favour (lutf) of Allah, just like all favours (lutf). Cognizance belongs to Allah; it is a favour (lutf) of Allah. Allah has given us cognizance ability. See your cognizance, understanding, and contemplation! Just think about contemplating on an idea! Think about thoughts! See the operation of intellect (aql) on creatures. See the ability to contemplate for a second! Al-Quran Al-Karim has been calling and inviting every person to contemplation, and becoming a thinker.
Time Stamp: 15:03
Because Allah has given the abilities to the servants (qul) to think. As for seeking Allah with binoculars and telescopes, you cannot look for Allah using binoculars, nor can you find Allah with telescopes. If you set out to perceive Allah using telescopes or binoculars, then you will be stuck with material stuff, and you will not be able to find the meaning; and you cannot find the Real (al-Haqq) without finding the meaning. That is why one should not seek Allah using telescopes, rather one should fully turn towards Allah without thinking Allah is far from eye and heart. Allah knows of all the secrets of hearts. Allah is closer to you than yourself. So, get your head straight! That is why intellect (aql) has been given to you. Almighty Allah is closer to you than yourself. You are to believe that Allah sees you, not that you see Allah. Your ability is limited, you are incapable, and you cannot see Allah, but you are to believe Allah sees you. That is what is requested of you; because Allah sees you. Does the Creator not see? Does the sustainer of life not see? Can’t the One who created your heart be closer to it than you are? Can’t the Creator of this universe encompass it?
Why don’t you use your intellect (aql) properly? You need to have believe that Allah sees you, because Allah sees you. That is what is requested of you, otherwise you are helpless, you can’t even see what is beyond your flesh. Do you have the ability to see the holy omnipotence (qudrah) of the Almighty Creator of the worlds? Then, believe (iman) in the One who sees you, and stand humbly before the One, and tie your hands five times a day, and come to the presence, and fulfil your duties as a servant (qul). Show the deepest and greatest respect to Allah. Do not be foolish. Do not be ungrateful. Don’t you ever deviate to polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), or corruption (nifaq). Rather, do not abandon Islam ever. Rather, hasten to Islam. Do not ever abandon Islam, nor make concessions even if you are torn apart! We are helpless servants (qul), we are telling you, the decision is up to you. That is, no matter who you are. Are you a servant (qul) of Allah? Then, it does not matter whether you are a lord, a general, a scholar (âlim), or an ignorant fellow. Get your head straight no matter what you are! Worship Allah, and become a good Muslim. It is Allah who personally brought forth the sacred values of Holy Islam. Muhammad is Allah’s appointed Messenger. As for the Quran, it is Allah’s book. That said, sunnah (customs) is implementation and disclosure Al-Quran Al-Karim by Prophet Muhammad. Acquire the Quran, and the sunnah (customs), and ijma (consensus), and qiyas (analogy). As for qiyas or analogy, it is when grand scholars of Islam deduce what is unknown via what is known. Sight (basar) is important for the eyes, and insight (basirat) is equally important for the heart. Now, there is insight (basirat) in the heart, and the eyes have sight (basar). Basar or sight is what we see with our physical eyes, and we have basirat or insight in our hearts, which is our true eye, the heart’s eye. As for the physical eyes, they are a window to the outside.

We perceive things as is due with our sense, understanding, and discernment. In the event it is manifest and bright, it is called insight (basirat). Let us understand this one more time! We perceive things as is due with our sense, understanding, and discernment. In the event it is manifest and bright, it is called insight (basirat). That is a divine light (nūr). This insight is a divine light (nūr). Those who lost their insight (basirat) do not have this light (nūr), it has faded. See, the hearts, souls, and brains in darkness are of those who turn off this light (nūr). This light (nūr) of insight (basirat) does not come without faith (iman). Get your mind straight! You cannot even say otherwise! It is utterly impossible, and it won’t happen. Pity! Such a pity! How beautifully has Allah created humanity, equipped it, and brought forth a pre-eternal (azali) and eternal (abadi) life-giving light (nūr) that shall luminate and enlighten people inside and outside; and one name of Al-Quran Al-Karim is light (nūr), while its other name is spirit (ruh). It enlightens with its light (nūr) aspect, and gives life with its spirit (ruh) aspect. Do you wish to find life? Then, we are studying the lessons of the life-giving light (nūr). These are lessons of the life-giving light (nūr). We are not lecturing thoughts of just anyone, we are actually giving the original (asl) of Al-Quran Al-Karim, and discovery notes to clarify it.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 258
On the 102nd to 105th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Hodja recites 102nd, 103rd, 104th, and 105th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].
Janâb-i Haqq says, “That is Allah, your Rabb (Lord).” Almighty Allah is introducing oneself in Al-Quran Al-Karim by saying, “This is Allah, your Rabb (Lord)! There is no god except Allah. Allah is the Creator of everything. So, worship Allah. Allah is a guardian (wakīl) on everything. The visions cannot grasp Allah, but Allah can grasp all visions.” Please, pay attention because even if you could incorporate all visions, the power of anyone’s eyes would not be enough to see the person (dhat) of Allah. That said, Allah can see all eyes because it is Allah who created all eyes, and gave sight to them. Can’t the Creator see what is created? Allah created the eyes. Allah created the ears. Allah placed those devices to their places by creating them. Allah is the possessor of favour (lutf). There is no possessor of favour (lutf) besides Allah. What others have is but bestowments of Allah. That said, Allah is all-aware of everything. There cannot be anything that Allah Ta’ala (c.c.) is not aware of. Allah knows pre-eternity (azal) same as eternity (abad), and vice versa. That is why pre-eternity (azal) or eternity (abad) have no influence on Allah because Allah is more pre-eternal (azali) than the very concept of pre-eternity (azal); and more eternal (abadi) than the very concept of eternity (abad). There is no difference between below ground or above ground for Allah because it is Allah who created and encompassed everything. That is why, Almighty Allah is introducing oneself here and saying, “This is Allah, your Rabb (Lord).” People need to know Allah correctly through Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam. Those who learn wrong about Almighty Allah have been worshipping creatures, and they became idolaters once they deviated, and they surely ruined themselves.
The 104th verse says, “Say, ‘Certainly, insights (heart’s eyes) have come to you from your Rabb (Lord).” See, the hearts have eyes as well, they have insight (basirat). Allah Ta’ala (c.c.) gives them. One’s true eye is his heart, his insight (basirat). Then, whoever sees the truth will benefit. One should be able to see the truth (haqq), reality (haqiqa). Islam is but a reality (haqiqa). That is, the sharia (law) of Islam is but a complete reality (haqiqa). That is why every ma’rifat (spiritual knowledge) is a reality (haqiqa), and so is every command of the sharia (law). Islam is reality (haqiqa) from a to z. Islam is Allah’s pre-eternal (azali) and eternal (abadi) laws. That is why Janâb-i Haqq says, “Then, whoever sees the truth then it benefits his own soul, and whoever is blind, then it is against himself.”
Time Stamp: 5:05
You have not seen the Real (al-Haqq). You don’t want to see, and you turned a deaf ear to it. Allah gave you a set of ears, and you turned a deaf ear to the Real (al-Haqq). You don’t want to see the reality (haqiqa) of Islam no matter what. Well, actually you are making yourself deaf. You are making yourself blind. Actually, you are depriving yourself of reality (haqiqa). And you are actually leading yourself to the wrath and anger of Allah.
O unwary! O ignorant! To whom are you turning a deaf ear to? Do you think you can turn a deaf ear to the One who gave you ears? Are you going to shut your eyes to the One who gave them to you? Allah sent down a holy book like the Quran, and you want to turn a blind eye to it, right? You want to turn a deaf ear to it, right? Do not do this enormity to yourself! Do not do this evil to yourself! See what Janâb-i Haqq says, “Say, ‘Whoever is blind, then it is against himself. I am not a guardian over you.’.”
See, Prophet Muhammad Mustafa has made a complete declaration (tabligh), but Allah has not left anyone a guardian over people. Why? Because nobody is forced to do anything. People have been left free, and the guarantor of this freedom is Allah. Do you think Allah has given this freedom and will for you to deny the truth and reality?
Do you think it was given to you that you go and serve this or that block? You need to listen well to your Rabb (Lord), understand your Rabb (Lord), and become a servant (qul) to your Rabb (Lord). Every rival group in the world that ever existed along with all philosophers, ideological theories, all the sociologists in the world, and the phycologists, and systems, the people of these systems, learned men (âlims) and ignorant people; even if you gathered everyone together, is there anyone who can create and place a single eye or ear for you? Is there anyone who can create a living cell? O people! Why don’t you get your mind straight!
Beloved friends,
Surely, the addressee of these words are me; they are primarily to my own soul (nafs). You and I are servants (qul) of Allah and brothers in terms of being human, we are brothers as humanity. Whatever I suggest for my own soul (nafs) I suggest to you the same thing, and that is a necessity of me being a human, and a servant (qul) of Allah. We are to present the truths to one another. First address of all sweet and bitter words is my own soul (nafs). I wish that the same values are offered to you, and everyone be safe from all danger the way I wish these things for my own soul (nafs). And that is such a faith (iman) and conscience that it is the faith (iman) and conscience of Islam. We are doing its necessity, but our starting point, our addressee is primarily our own soul (nafs).

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 260
On the 106th to 107th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“Thus, We paraphrase the verses variously, lest they you say to you, ‘You have read and learned these from somewhere,’ and that We may make it clear for a people who know,” said Almighty Rabb (Lord). To whom? Well, these are said to Allah’s beloved Muhammad (asw).
Dearest friends, Janâb-i Haqq said the following next.
Hodja recites the 106th and 107th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].
Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq said in these sacred verses: “Follow what has been revealed (wahy) to you from your Rabb (Lord).” Who is being addressed here? Well, these are said to Allah’s beloved Muhammad Mustafa (asw). That is, for him to follow what has been revealed (wahy) to him and abide by it.
The verse goes, “There is no god except Allah, and turn away from those who associate partners with Allah.”
See, Almighty Allah has no partners, no rivals, no custodians, no equals, no comparables. That is why Allah, who is One in regards to everything has revealed (wahy) the truth of Islam to him completely. So, it is said to Muhammad that he should follow what has been sent down to him from Allah. That is because there is no god besides Allah who sent him this revelation (wahy) which is Islam and the Quran. Allah has no partners, no comprables. Allah is One in regards to being (dhat), attributes (sifāt), doings (af’al), and everything.
The 107th verse says, “Had Allah wished, they would not have ascribed partners with Allah. We have not made you a guardian over them,” says Janâb-i Haqq. That is said to Allah’s beloved Muhammad. Because, it is said that had Allah wished, they would not have ascribed partners. On the other hand, as Allah left people free, those who used their freedom for evil have denied, some of them deviated to polytheism (shirk), and some of them deviated to hypocrisy (nifaq) and became hypocrites (munafiqun). Some became deniers (munkir), polytheists (mushrikun), flagrant sinners (fāsiqun), wicked evil-doers (faajir), or wrongdoers (zalimun).
That said, some of them bowed down to Allah. They have obeyed and became good Muslims. That is why Islam is the name of a divine order of submission to Allah, peace, tranquillity, and justice. It is a fully bright and eternal life filled with light (nūr). It is the name of a complete life-giving light (nūr), and it is a spirit (ruh). Al-Quran Al-Karim is the life-giving light (nūr) and spirit (ruh). That said, our lectures are lessons of the life-giving light (nūr) because one name of Al-Quran Al-Karim is light (nūr) while another is spirit (ruh). Therefore, all people who wish to be happy should follow its life-style because the life-stype of true happiness is the one that Allah Ta’ala brought forth. That is the life-style that Hz. Muhammad personally implemented by living Islam and the Quran.
