Turkish English Tafsir Lesson 104-111
Al-Quran Al-Karim Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 104
Surah Ali ‘Imran – 153rd – 163th verses.
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most Merciful.
[3:153] “ʾidh tuṣʿidūna wa-lā talwūna ʿalā ʾaḥadin wa-r-rasūlu yadʿūkum fī ʾukhrākum fa-ʾathābakum ghamman bi-ghammin li-kay-lā taḥzanū ʿalā mā fātakum wa-lā mā ʾaṣābakum wa-llāhu khabīrun bi-mā taʿmalūn.”
[3:154] “thumma ʾanzala ʿalaykum min baʿdi l-ghammi ʾamanatan nuʿāsan yaghshā ṭāʾifatan minkum wa-ṭāʾifatun qad ʾahammathum ʾanfusuhum yaẓunnūna bi-llāhi ghayra l-ḥaqqi ẓanna l-jāhiliyyati yaqūlūna hal lanā mina l-ʾamri min shayʾin qul ʾinna l-ʾamra kullahū li-llāhi yukhfūna fī ʾanfusihim mā lā yubdūna laka yaqūlūna law kāna lanā mina l-ʾamri shayʾun mā qutilnā hāhunā qul law kuntum fī buyūtikum la-baraza lladhīna kutiba ʿalayhimu l-qatlu ʾilā maḍājiʿihim wa-li-yabtaliya llāhu mā fī ṣudūrikum wa-li-yumaḥḥiṣa mā fī qulūbikum wa-llāhu ʿalīmun bi-dhāti ṣ-ṣudūr.”
Sadaqa Allah al-‘Azem (Allah Almighty has spoken the truth).
Our dear and revered audience,
Janâb-i Haqq sent down the Holy Quran as a mercy upon all humanity, all souls who have set their heart on the Real (al-Haqq), and all the servants of Allah (c.c.). Allah sent Quran as a guidance and as a nūr (light) so that we may find endless life, and that we may be blissful forever, and that we may attain Rahmat al-Rahim and Rahmat al-Rahman. This is why Allah (c.c.) sent Al-Quran Al-Karim, Islam, and Muhammad.
How happy is he/she who believes and finds life!
Janâb-i Haqq said the following in the above verses that I have recited:
“As the messenger was calling you from your backs, you were fleeing ceaselessly, and you weren’t looking back at anyone. For this, Allah gave you grief upon grief so that you will neither grieve for what you lose or what happens to you. Allah is aware of what you do.”
“Then, following that grief, Allah descended upon you such an inner peace, and such a sleep that it was overtaking a group among you. Another group was worrying about their own lives. They were nourishing a false notion about Allah, like notions of the jahiliyyah, and they were saying, ‘Have we any part in this affair?’ Say, ‘The whole affair belongs to Allah.’ They were hiding that which they cannot disclose to you. They say, ‘If we had a say in this affair we would not have been killed here.’ Say, ‘Even if you were in your homes, those of you who are destined to be killed would have surely gone out to the places they are destined to be killed.”
Death will find you no matter where you are.
“Allah did this to test that which is within your chests, and to purify what is in your hearts. Allah knows what lies in the chests.”
My dearest friend, listen close to every word of your Almighty Rabb.
Our Almighty Rabb commanded:
Time Stamp: 4:45
[3:155] “ʾinna lladhīna tawallaw minkum yawma ltaqā l-jamʿāni ʾinnamā stazallahumu sh-shayṭānu bi-baʿḍi mā kasabū wa-la-qad ʿafā llāhu ʿanhum ʾinna llāha ghafūrun ḥalīm.”
[3:156] “yā-ʾayyuhā lladhīna ʾāmanū lā takūnū ka-lladhīna kafarū wa-qālū li-ʾikhwānihim ʾidhā ḍarabū fī l-ʾarḍi ʾaw kānū ghuzzan law kānū ʿindanā mā mātū wa-mā qutilū li-yajʿala llāhu dhālika ḥasratan fī qulūbihim wa-llāhu yuḥyī wa-yumītu wa-llāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna baṣīr.”
Sadaqa Allah al-‘Azem (Allah Almighty has spoken the truth).
Dearest and revered audience,
Almighty Rabb commands: “On the day when two hosts met, those of you who turned away and fled – Shaitan wanted to make them slip because of somethings they earned, but Allah still forgave them. Indeed, Allah is most-forgiving, most-forbearing.”
Allah is Halīm (most-forbearing).
“O, believers! Do not be like the deniers who say of their brothers when they travel in the earth or go into battle: ‘Had they been with us, they would have died nor been killed.’.”
Death finds you at its hour (ajal) no matter where you are.
“Allah placed this into their hearts as a (wound of) longing. Allah brings to life and kills. Allah is seeing what you do.”
“If you get killed in the way of Allah, or die – Allah’s forgiveness and mercy are better (for you) than what they amass (of worldly things).”
“Verily, whether you die or get killed, you will be mustered in the presence of Allah.”
Dearest friends,
[3:157] “wa-la-ʾin qutiltum fī sabīli llāhi ʾaw muttum la-maghfiratun mina llāhi wa-raḥmatun khayrun mimmā yajmaʿūn.”
[3:158] “wa-la-ʾin muttum ʾaw qutiltum la-ʾilā llāhi tuḥsharūn.”
[3:159] “fa-bi-mā raḥmatin mina llāhi linta lahum wa-law kunta faẓẓan ghalīẓa l-qalbi la-nfaḍḍū min ḥawlika fa-ʿfu ʿanhum wa-staghfir lahum wa-shāwirhum fī l-ʾamri fa-ʾidhā ʿazamta fa-tawakkal ʿalā llāhi ʾinna llāha yuḥibbu l-mutawakkilīn.”
[3:160] “ʾin yanṣurkumu llāhu fa-lā ghāliba lakum wa-ʾin yakhdhulkum fa-man dhā lladhī yanṣurukum min baʿdihī wa-ʿalā llāhi fa-l-yatawakkali l-muʾminūn.”
[3:161] “wa-mā kāna li-nabiyyin ʾan yaghulla wa-man yaghlul yaʾti bi-mā ghalla yawma l-qiyāmati thumma tuwaffā kullu nafsin mā kasabat wa-hum lā yuẓlamūn.”
[3:162] “ʾa-fa-mani ttabaʿa riḍwāna llāhi ka-man bāʾa bi-sakhaṭin mina llāhi wa-maʾwāhu jahannamu wa-biʾsa l-maṣīr.”
“You (at that time), acted lenient to them only by mercy of Allah. Had you been rough, hard-hearted, then they would have dispersed from around you. Now, you forgive them, wish from Allah forgiveness for them. Consult them in the affairs (that you will conduct), and once you have decided, hold fast to Allah. Surely, Allah loves those who hold fast to and trust only to Allah.”
“If Allah helps you, then there is none who can defeat you.” Now, please pay utmost attention to this verse. “We see here we need true faith, truly good deeds, and true jihād (struggle) to receive the help of Allah.
Time Stamp: 10:04
“If Allah helps you, then there is none who can defeat you; and if Allah leaves you without help, then who else can help you? The believers should hold fast to and trust only to Allah.”
“It does not suit any Prophet to withhold the spoils of war (to misappropriate state-nation property). Whoever misappropriated shall bring what he misappropriated by carrying it on his neck, on the day of Qiyamah. Then, everyone will be repaid in full for what they have earned, and they will not be wronged.”
Those who devour that which belongs to the nation will go bankrupt on that day, there are losers, and they are in loss. Do not ever – not even slightly – devour a right that belongs to someone else. If you did, repay them and ask for their blessing.
“Is the one who abides by the pleasure of Allah like the one who incur Allah’s wrath and whose destination is Jahannam?”
Jahannam is such an evil destination!
“They (people) have various degrees in the sight of Allah. Allah sees what they do.”
You see, dearest friends! Al-Quran Al-Karim continues to shed nūr (light). It sheds nūr (light), and gives life.

Al-Quran Al-Karim Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 105
Certain hints and exegetical notes on the aforementioned verses.
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most Merciful.
Let us give you certain hints and exegetical notes on these verses of Quran. We’ll present you notes in this lecture.
Our Prophet (asw) was shouting:
[00:15 – 00:21] The hodja is reciting an excerpt from the 18th verse of Surah al-Dukhan [44].
“The servants of Allah, (come) to me!
Of course, Prophet Muhammad (asw) was calling to jihād (struggle) in the way of Allah, of which he himself is the guide. We should never forget that If Allah wills, He (Allah) can make the losers triumphant in a moment. If Allah wills, He (Allah) can make the losers triumphant in a moment. Allah may give protection in the most terrifying moments, and may give any kind of protection however He (Allah) wishes.
For example, Allah had secured some people by making them sleep. This has been seen in Badr and similar occurrences.
[01:23 – 01:28] The hodja is reciting an excerpt from the 56th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].
Janâb-i Haqq said the following in the 56th verse of Surah al-Maidah: Verily, those on the side of Allah are superior, and always victorious.
You should pay close attention to this verse of the Quran.
Verily, those on the side of Allah are superior, and always victorious.
Do not ever forget this!
Now, how can one be on Allah’s side? This is possible by abiding by the divine commandments, and all the laws and rules of Islam. With that said, if a person obeys Allah’s commands and abides by them – then all commands of Allah make you on Allah Ta’ala’s side. Whatever command you disobey, you’ll drift apart from Allah’s side, and you’ll turn to the side of taghuts (i.e. false gods), you’ll turn to Iblis’s side; and if you turn, think about the afflictions that may befall on you.
Allah also said (3:118-120), “Do not take hypocrites as your confidants.” This was said to our Prophet. “Do not take hypocrites as you confidants, and do not let them in your advisory council.”
See, our Prophet knew the hypocrites. There are many signs of hypocrisy. Al-Quran Al-Karim shows them one by one. The hadith-i sharifs also mention them one by one.
The biggest sing is that the hypocrites cannot reach an agreement with Islam and real Muslims. They will take disbelievers as friends, and become distant to Muslims. Actually, both disbelievers and hypocrites are unsound.
He who befriends disbelievers behave like them when they are with them, but when they return to Muslims, they behave like Muslims.
They do not behave the way they are, and they are not sincere in worship and in practicing Islam. There are many signs of hypocrisy. As Muslims get to know Al-Quran Al-Karim, they will recognize the hypocrites better.
On the other hand, one should check himself if there are signs of hypocrisy in him or not, and then he should check others in order to protect Islam and Muslims from harm’s way, or rather to protect the humanity from harm’s way. The hypocrites are harmful and evil people who are worse than disbelievers, and every disbeliever is bad but the hypocrites are even worse than disbelievers.
See, obedience leads to more obedience, and sin leads to more sins. This is important, please remember this. Obedience leads to more obedience, which leads to reward (sawāb), and sin leads to more sins.
Time Stamp: 5:00
Sin leads to disbelief. It is a precursor of disbelief. As for sawāb (piety, good deeds etc.) it leads to the truth, and it is the way that leads to Janna.
Let us talk about the Battle of Uhud. Now, let us see the state of the Muslims in the Battle of Uhud. One third of them had held their ground. One third of them had fled. One third of them had been wounded.
Now, in this regard those who held their ground and the wounded make two thirds of the army on that day, and they are the victorious. That said, 300 or so people had fled the battle.
You see, Ibn Salul who was the chief of the hypocrites had withdrawn his 300 men. The hypocrites are very dangerous. They will find your weakest point and then leave you alone with the disaster that befell on you. They will leave you alone in your hardest time, and they are opportunists, they observe your weaknesses.
You should be watchful of hypocrites, for they behave like Muslims. They may look like Muslims but they are worse than disbelievers. You have to be wary of hypocrites because they cause trouble for Muslims, and they are the ones who misrepresent Islam to the world.
That said, we had heroic women in the Battle of Uhud. The women were throwing soil to the deserters. They were insulting the deserters by saying, “Go, do chores and sew dresses.”
Do you see? Heroic women are braver than lesser men and hypocrites.
Now, let’s talk about the perseverant (sabr) ones. Let me count some of the names that were fully perseverant (sabr) in the Battle of Uhud. First and foremost, Abu Bakr, Ali ibn Abi Talib, ‚Abd al-Rahman ibn ‚Awf, Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas, Talha ibn Ubaydullah, Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah, Zubayr ibn al-Awam, these are among the muhajireen. Mind that they are seven people!
Radeyallahu anhum wa ardahum ajmain.
That said, among the Ansar (helpers) were: Al-Hubab ibn al-Mundhir, Abu Dujana, Asim ibn Thabit, Haris ibn es-Simma, Sehl Bin Huneyf, Useyd ibn Hudayr, and Sa’d ibn Mu’adh.
Radeyallahu anhum wa ardahum ajmain.
Mind that there are also seven people from the Ansar (helpers). These names are the foremost perseverant ones. There are great and glorious stars, or rather heroes in every society, and the revered people whose names I’ve recited are some of them.
Eight of them had made an agreement that they would fight until they died, but nothing happened to any of them.
In the Battle of Uhud, eight of these people had made an agreement with one another, saying they would fight non-stop until they were martyred. They fought bravely, but nothing happened to any of them.
You see, he who deserts from a war will succumb to any calamity.
War is fought to prevent disasters, to establish peace, and to prevent the superiority of tyrants and despots, and to establish the rule of the Real (al-Haqq), and the aim is to accept the sovereignty of Allah.
Time Stamp: 10:00
War is fought in the cause of exalting the religion of Allah.
Now, the council in which counselling is made by the board is the congregation (jama’ah), and the purpose of this council is voting. The following traits are apparently obligations (fard) on the advisory committee: moral perfection, godly gnosis (irfan), education (tarbiya); to follow the manifestations of divine will, and to explain the decree (hukm) of the Real (al-Haqq). This is why a consultation committee or an advisory council is needed.
This is why Islamic consultations should be held until Qiyamah. First of all, there has to be mujtahid imams in the advisory council. Mujtahid imams should be present along with other authorities.
Analogical reasoning (qiyās) with personal opinion (ra’y) is wrong (batil) when there is a canonical document (nass). You should not forget this!
So, what will you do when you cannot find something in Al-Quran Al-Karim, and in Sunnah? What will you do for the things you cannot find in ijmā (consensus) and qiyās (analogical reasoning) of the Islamic scholars?
See, in such cases new human efforts (ijtihād) are needed. Mevrid-i Nas: It is obvious that there is no permission or license for human effort (ijtihād) where there is canonical document (nass). Now, please pay attention to Mevrid-i Nas: There is no permission for human effort (ijtihād) where there is canonical documents (nass), for you cannot utilize human effort (ijtihad) where there is canonical evidence (nass). Now, what does nass mean? The nass, or rather the canonical documents are the verses of Quran, hadith-i sharifs, ijma al-ummah (community consensus); these are the primary canonical proofs and essence of Islam.
Now, our mujtahids utilize deductive analogy (qiyās) when these canons are unavailable, they utilize human effort (ijtihād).
As for analogical reasoning of the jurists (qiyās-i fuqahā), it is the fourth canonical document, but not everyone can become a jurist (faqīh).
Now, about becoming a jurist (faqīh) and a mujtahid in Islam: The mujtahids come together and utilize human effort (ijtihād), and they make a community consensus (ijmā al-ummah). Every mujtahid may utilize ijtihād, but he must be a real mujtahid and a jurist (faqīh).
So, utilizing human effort (ijtihād) where there is canon (nass) is not valid. People cannot utilize analogical reasoning (qiyās) by themselves where there is a clear command from Allah. Do you know who does that? Clearly, none other than the rejected Satan.
Let me tell you about those who utilize human effort (ijtihād) where there is canon (nass), those who actually throw the canon (nass) out the window, those who do not accept the commands of Allah, those who do not accept the verses of Quran, the hadiths, and consensus (ijmā). It all started with the accursed Satan who made his own analogy (qiyās) by utilizing his own personal opinion (ra’y). It is clear that this is a work of Iblīs.
That is why, the Muslims should first and foremost follow our real mujtahids and jurists of Ahlus-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah, who always deduced decrees (hukm) from canonical documents (nass). They have endeavored to understand the canonical documents in the best possible manner. They have utilized deductive reasoning starting off with the canonical documents (nass).
They have never utilized human effort (ijtihād) where there is canon (nass). The canons (nass) are certain commands of Allah, and next to those certain commands there are mutawātir (successive) hadith-i sharifs, and after them there are sahih hadiths.
So, the Quran comes first, and then there are the mutawātir and sahih hadiths. With that said, the Islamic scholars (ālims) of Ahlus-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah had surely utilized the sahih or authentic hadiths, and even if there was a single one, they would still utilize it.
Time Stamp: 15:02
They have also established this in the Islamic world. And when they could not find what they were looking for in canon (nass), they had utilized excellent human effort (ijtihād). So, people should not make the same mistake with Iblīs.
Nowadays, lots of people who are not specialized in Quran, sunnah, ijmā and those who cannot properly recite Quran are trying to utilize human effort (ijtihād), but they do not even know the meanings of the verses. These people are like toys for Satan. Do you know what Satan does with them? He uses them to perplex the ignorant people in the society who do not know the truth.
Nowadays there are lots of false mujtahids who are out of Ahlus-Sunnah, they follow innovation (bid’ah) and misguidance (dalalah). They are fake mujtahids, and frauds who give wrong legal opinions (fatwā). Those who polish the apple for others, and those who act according to frame of mind of others, and those who disregard Al-Quran Al-Karim, and those who act by disregarding the sunnah have deviated from the way of Ahlus-Sunnah and they are now in the way of deviant innovators (ahlul bid’ah) and misguidance (dalalah).
We should be really careful about such people. Those who do not accept Allah Ta’ala, and could not discover Al-Quran Al-Karim will surely admire someone else, be at their disposal, and become their servants. But had they known Allah, Quran, Muhammad, and Islam well, they would not have been servants to anyone, and they would have attained the honor of becoming a servant (qul) of Allah Ta’ala; and they would be proud of the holy values.
We’ll not praise ourselves but we cannot say we have praised Islam enough no matter how much we praise it. Islam is truly divine, for it is the divine order established by Allah. The divine order that has no beginning (azali) and no end (abadi) is Islam. The Islamic order is the order that Allah established, which is the order of Islamic sharia (law).
Now, about Ilm’ul Usul. Our Master (asw) would wait for revelation (wahy); he would wait for divine revelation (wahy-i ilahi) from Allah, and if it did not come, he would utilize human effort (ijtihād) and his personal opinion (ra’y). So, the pioneer of human effort (ijtihād) is again, Prophet Muhammad.
With that said, the mujtahid ālims are praised in the 83rd verse of Surah al-Nisa [4]. We see Janâb-i Haqq praising the mujtahids, and ālims. Now, what does Allah say?
[18:19 – 18:25] The hodja is reciting an excerpt from the 83rd verse of Surah al-Nisa [4].
Interpretation: “Those among them who investigate and reveal the truth of the matter would have known what it is.” Our istinbāt (deductive) ālims are our mujtahids.
Human effort (ijtihād) finds strength in conversation and discussion.
That is, the mujtahids conversate among themselves and they find strength in each other. These disputes are a blessing (rahmat), a contest of knowledge (ilm), a contest of human effort (ijtihād), and a contest of discovery.
There is comprehension (dirayat) in human effort (ijtihād). At first, the source of narration (rivayat) should be known along with the narration (rivayat) itself. Then, comprehension, or rather dirayat begins. That is why there is a scholarly contest here. Mutual conversation, scholarly discussions, and disputes are blessings (rahmat) for the nation (ummah), do not forget this! These mutual conversations, scholarly discussions, and disputes are between the Islamic scholars and mujtahids; these disputes are blessings (rahmat) for the nation (ummah). This way they can accomplish the best result, but those who act on their own may not free themselves from lapses, because you cannot counsel yourself.
Time Stamp: 20:04
The human effort (ijtihād) is available until the Last Day. The mujtahids cannot be neglected. The highest positions and ranks should be given to mujtahids, and they should be gathered and they should always utilize human effort (ijtihād).
“Allah and the Messenger of Allah are free from consultation,” this is a narration from Mahmud al-Alusi and Fakhr al-Din al-Razi.
Now, why would our Prophet (asw) consult? He would consult with his people in order to further implement the important divine commandment and to settle it in them. Otherwise, he is a Prophet of Revelation, and his own ijtihād is enough.
You see, Janâb-i Haqq does not consult with anyone, and so is a Prophet who receives revelation (wahy) from his Rabb, but he wanted to show all the truths to his people by personally implementing them. Thus, he placed the reality (haqiqa) in them.
On the other hand, it is necessary (wajib) for the ummah. So, consultation is necessary (wajib) for the ummah. The ummah should never give up consultation. Following the period of Ashab al-Ghuzin (distinguished people) advisory councils and human effort (ijtihād) among the mujtahids were not sufficiently supported. Mujtahids were not given enough attention. This has been the fault of some rulers in the Islamic world.
[22:07 – 22:11] The hodja is reciting an excerpt from the 38th verse of Surah al-Shura [42].
Now, let us see what Janâb-i Haqq said in the 38th verse of Surah al-Shura: “And their affairs are by counsel among themselves.”
So, their affairs are by shura – consultation. The elders of Islam or rather the grand ālims need to come together and make a shura, consultation boards, and advisory councils, and they need to shed light unto the public with the decisions they make there.
The word “خذلان” here is used for abandoning someone when they need you most. You see, one of the worst signs of hypocrites is “خذلان”. They abandon you when you need them most, and at your weakest time. They leave you, and stop helping you.
See, in the Battle of Uhud the hypocrites abandoned our Prophet. The women threw soil in their direction, and said “We’ll give you threads and go weave your cloth you dishonorable men!”
They had taught them their place by saying, “Why did you desert from battle, and why did you abandon the Messenger of Allah?”
Our women are also heroic, and this heroism will be present in them until Qiyamah. Besides, all men of Islam or rather Muslim men are very brave, except the hypocrites. And the women of Islam are very honorable.
Of course, those among them who are toys of others, who became puppets, who deviated from Islam, and who switched to the enemy side are exceptions. See, young people of Islam are excellent, the sons and daughters of Islam are excellent, and so are the men and women of Islam. It is just that they should be equipped with the values of Islam.
Now, secret misappropriation of booty is among major sins. One of the matters mentioned in these verses is the matter of booty. We see here that those who misappropriate government property are major sinners.
Time Stamp: 25:00
The booty belongs to the nation, and the 1/5th of the booty is reserved for Allah and the Messenger. Allah Ta’ala reserved it for the Messenger, his relatives, the poor, the needy, the orphans, and the poverty-stricken folk, in the person of the Messenger.
That said, the 4/5th of the rest is reserved for ghazis (warriors) and the relatives of the martyrs, and all the families of martyrs have been given monthly pay.
Just look at Islamic history from Umar and forward. You’ll see that all families of martyrs have been given monthly pay, and 4/5 of the booty has been given to the ghazis (warriors).
Then again, a hadith-i sharif narrated on the authority of Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Al-Darimi, and Ahmad ibn Hanbali goes: “He who gets free from conceit, pride, and debt shall enter Janna.”
Please pay attention!
“He who gets free from conceit, pride, and debt shall enter Janna. Pay even the smallest things, such as a needle and thread. Such is shame, and nār (fire) in Qiyamah.”
See, it is said that we should pay or return even the smallest things to their owners. These are nothing but shame and nār (fire) in Qiyamah. The world nār (fire) here means fire, and great shame.
In other words, not even the smallest thing should bring harm to the dignity and honor of a Muslim. Small or big, all haqq al-nas (rights of the people) must be given; and Muslims should not have conceit and arrogance. You must not die in debt, and you must not devour anyone’s right.
Let us talk briefly about those who consume what belongs to this nation, and those who exploit the world. They say the wealth of the state is like an ocean, and those who do not eat from it are gullible, but they themselves are gullible, for they consume what belongs to the nation. The wealth of the state is like an ocean, but it belongs to Muslims, all people, the poor and needy, and the entire nation.
I am addressing those who say the wealth of the state is like an ocean, and those who do not eat from it are idiots! Those who eat from it are worse than the creatures in the mountains, but why? Because, that creature has a duty. It will loosen the soil below the three, and eat some of the harmful things and clean dirt. It has a duty in the ecosystem, but those who devour the state property are viler than the creatures in the mountains because they bleed the nation and the poverty-stricken people white.
The religion of Islam will not allow anyone cheat anyone off their rights due to its divine justice, and everyone will be given their rights in the next world. People’s rights, even the smallest ones, will be given back. No one’s right, even the smallest thing, will be left in anyone. The rights will be paid in full, and those who went bankrupt will be thrown to Jahannam.
[29:13 – 29:21] The hodja is reciting the 7th and 8th verses of Surah al-Zalzalah [99].
Do not ever forget this verse!
“Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil you will see it.”
Will the one who sees the smallest good not see the whole of it? You will surely see it.
Now, what did our Prophet say to the archers in the Battle of Uhud? He told them to remain on duty no matter what, and the price of forgetting, ignoring, and opposing the order came at a heavy price.
Time Stamp: 30:00
If you ask about the disaster that befell the Islamic world today, this is my answer. They oppose the Quran; they do not fulfil its necessities. They do not fulfil Allah’s commands. They do not fulfil the commands of sunnah. They do not truly obey Allah and the Rasul. They abandon the divine commandments, and the price of this is being paid in the world today, and this is the nightmare that befell the Islamic world.
Muslims should hold fast to the religion (din) of Allah, and obey Allah and the Rasul, and then they should observe the world and see the world find happiness; and the entire humanity will find salvation. They will see how social justice will manifest itself.
Unless the Muslims adhere to their divine cause, unless they raise up, unless they unite and become one, unless they become a single first and a single heart, they will not be able to save neither humanity nor themselves from exploitation and the tyrants.
The world is in the hands of the Imperialists and the Zionists. They have been shedding blood, and exploiting the world.
See, that is what our Prophet (asw) said to the archers in Uhud. He said this to about 50 archers: “Even if you see birds picking us up…” Do you hear the words of our glorious Prophet? Every word of his is a miracle; every action of his is a wonder. Let us hear what our glorious Prophet (asw) said: “Even if you see birds picking us up, do not abandon your posts.”
Then, upon seeing the routing enemy, they thought they had won the battle, and they abandoned their posts. Then, the enemy returned and it all went sideways.

Al-Quran Al-Karim Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 106
On opposing the command of Allah and the Messenger.
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
It was due to their disobedience they were face-to-face with danger of losing the battle that has been won. In the end, they neither won nor lost but an emergency had occurred. The loyal friends of our Prophet had to face a situation they did not deserve.
The lesson that we should draw from this is that no one can oppose Allah, the Messenger, the Quran, and the Sunnah. They should not, but if they do then the price will be paid both in this world and the next.

Al-Quran Al-Karim Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 107
On the 164th to 180th verses of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
[00:07 – 00:28] The hodja is reciting the 164th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Interpretation: “Verily, Allah has done the faithful a great favor by sending from among them a Prophet who recite to them the ayat (signs/verses) of Allah, who purify them, and who teach them the Book and the hikmat (i.e. wisdom).”
See, Prophet Muhammad (asw) is the greatest favor Allah has done to all the worlds. Janâb-i Haqq has done the greatest favor to the humanity in the person of Prophet Muhammad with Quran and Islam.
Interpretation: “For before, they were in a manifest heresy.”
See, Islam is the divine order and set of divine rules that remove all that is wrong and establish the sovereignty of the Real (al-Haqq). Islam is completely right and reality (haqq – haqiqa).
[01:30 – 01:48] The hodja is reciting the 165th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[01:48 – 01:59] The hodja is reciting the 166th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Let’s see what our Almighty Rabb said:
“Or is it when a disaster struck you, twice of which you had struck them (the enemy in Badr), do you say, ‘From where is this?’ Say, ‘What befell you is from yourselves.’ Indeed Allah is All-Powerful over everything.” Janâb-i Haqq says here that what happened in Uhud happened because they disobeyed the command, and this happened because of themselves.
Editor’s Note: The below quote is interpretation of the 166th verse, but the last part is from the 167th verse.
“The disaster that befell you on the day when the two hosts met was also by permission of Allah. This was to make the believers evident; and that Allah may make evident those who are hypocrites.”
My brother who believes in Al-Quran Al-Karim! Please, pay close attention to these verses.
The believers and the hypocrites were made evident in Uhud.
“And it was said to them, ‘Come, fight in the way of Allah, or at least defend.’ They said, ‘If we knew how to fight (or that there will be a fight) we certainly would have followed you.’ On that day, they were nearer to disbelief (kufr) than to faith (iman). They were saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. Allah is Most Knowing of what they conceal.
O, dearest friend! Let us give ear to Almighty Rabb.
[03:49 – 03:59] The hodja is reciting an excerpt from the 167th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[03:59 – 04:12] The hodja is reciting the 168th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[04:12 – 04:23] The hodja is reciting the 169th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Almighty Rabb says:
“They said about their brothers while they sat, ‘If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed.’ Say: ‘Then avert death from yourselves should you be truthful (in your claim).’.”
“Do not ever think of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive. They are given provision (rizq) near their Rabb.”
Please, pay close attention!
Time Stamp: 5:09
[05:09 – 05:24] The hodja is reciting the 170th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
In this verse, our Almighty Rabb says, “They are rejoicing in what Allah bestowed them of His (Allah’s) bounty,” this is what our Rabb said.
“They wish to tell the good news to those who have not yet joined them but are left behind that there will be no fear for them nor shall they grieve.”
[05:50 – 05:59] The hodja is reciting the 171st verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
“They rejoice in the favor and bounty of Allah, and that Allah does not let the reward of the believers go to waste.”
[06:16 – 06:29] The hodja is reciting the 172nd verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[06:29 – 06:46] The hodja is reciting the 173rd verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[06:46 – 07:01] The hodja is reciting the 174th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Almighty Rabb commands: “They responded to the call of Allah and His (Allah’s) Messenger even after the injury that befell them.”
There were heroes who did not hesitate to go to another battle even though they were injured. There were such heroes in the Battle of Uhud.
“For those who did good among them, and feared Allah there is a great reward.”
“When people said to them: ‘Your enemies have amassed an army against you, so fear them,’ this only increased them in faith, and they said, ‘Allah is sufficient for us, and Allah is the best trustee (wakīl).’.”
They said: “نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ”.
My dearest friend! Pay attention to these verses! It is the Satan who brings you that word. It is the Satan who brings Muslims waswas (whispering).
“Thereon they returned with favor bounty of Allah and grace, untouched by any evil, and they submitted to the pleasure (riza) of Allah. Allah is the possessor of great bounty.”
Dearest friends!
[08:39 – 08:50] The hodja is reciting the 175th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Let us see what Almighty Rabb commands here: “It is only the Shaitan (who bring you that word), and he can only frighten his own allies.”
O, Islamic world! Pay attention to this verse! Satan is only capable of frightening his own allies with his waswas (whispering). He cannot frighten the believers at all. A believer is one who rejects the waswas (whispering) that comes to his/her heart. The believers reject the waswas (whispering) by means of their knowledge of sharia (law), and ilham (inspiration of a good thought). The believers know and sense the footsteps of the Iblīs.
“Do not fear them, and fear Me, if you are believers.”
Dearest friends, these are the words of Almighty Allah.
[09:46 – 10:05] The hodja is reciting the 176th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Time Stamp: 10:05
Almighty Rabb says, “Those who hasten in disbelief (kufr) should not upset you, they cannot harm Allah in the least. Allah wants to not give them a share in the afterlife. There is an agonizing punishment for them.”
[10:28 – 10:38] The hodja is reciting the 177th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[10:38 – 10:54] The hodja is reciting the 178th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Almighty Rabb says, “Let disbelievers (kāfirs) not think that the respite We give them is good for them, this respite is only given so that they may increase their sins. There is a humiliating punishment for them.”
[11:22 – 11:51] The hodja is reciting the 179th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Then again, our Almighty Rabb who is Master of all the worlds say: “Allah is not to leave the believers in this state you are in.”
O, Islamic world! Hold fast to Islam and you will be saved from this situation!
See, “Allah will separate the bad ones from the good ones. Nor will Allah acquaint you with the unseen (ghaib). But Allah chooses from His (Allah’s) messengers whomever He (Allah) wills (and informs him about the unseen). So, believe in Allah and His (Allah’s) Messengers. If you believe, and abstain from sin, then for you there is a great reward.”
Let us see what our Almighty Rabb said next.
[12:47 – 13:13] The hodja is reciting the 180th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
“Those who act miserly about the bounties that Allah gave them out of His (Allah’s) grace, should not think it is good for them. No, it is bad for them.”
Those who do not spend in the way of Allah should listen to the Quran well, and listen to Allah well.
“What they were miserly about, all the wealth they did not spend in the way of Allah, will be encircled to their necks on the Day of Resurrection. The heritage of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah. Allah is All-Aware of what you do.”

Al-Quran Al-Karim Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 108
On some exegetical notes.
Dearest audience!
When it comes to the Book, we need to give an eye to the apparent (zahiri) aspect of the sharia (law) right away. With that said, when it comes to hikmat – wisdom, we need to remember right away that it denotes the beauty, divine knowledge (ilm), mysteries, aim, and the benefit of the Quran. See, the esoteric (bâtini) and exoteric (zâhiri) of the Book is filled to brim with sharia (law) and hikmat (wisdom).
Now, in the Battle of Badr, the enemy losses were 70 casualties, and 70 prisoners. In the Battle of Uhud, the believers did not give any prisoners. The Battle of Uhud was a most troublesome fight for the believers but they did not give any prisoners, yet 70 believers were martyred. The losses of the believers were half of the losses of the polytheists.
In the Battle of Uhud the believers had routed the enemy at first. As for the Battle of Badr, it was a decisive victory. The hypocrites would exaggerate the enemy force, for they did not want Muslims to prevail, and they were assuming an attitude towards the polytheists.
Now, let us talk about the cause of what befell on Muslims. The Muslims of the world should pay close attention to this! The leading causes were that they disobeyed the command, they abandoned their posts and went after booty, and other causes. There are also other reasons.
“Unseen hikmat (i.e. wisdom) may manifest its grace as suffering, and vice versa.” The hikmat (i.e. hidden causes, wisdom) is folded in multiple layers.
“Tahliye” means -to release.
Pay close attention to the hikmat (wisdom) of Janâb-i Haqq! You have to submit yourself to Allah and polish your heart with the nūr (light) of tawhid/monotheism in order to love the hikmat (wisdom).
Let us talk about a narration that comes from Ahmad ibn Hanbali, al-Muslim, and Ibn-i Abbas.
Radiyallahu anhum wa ardahum ajmain.
“The souls of the martyrs go to the qanādīl of the Throne (ʿArsh) via green birds.”
Do you see?
“The souls of the martyrs go to the qanādīl of the Throne (ʿArsh) via green birds, and they drink from the streams of Janna (Paradise), eat from its bounties, and rest. They say, ‘If only our brothers in the world knew of what is given to us, then they would not hold back from battle.’.”
Allah Ta’ala said, ‘I will announce (tabligh) them,’ and revealed these verses.
See, Janâb-i Haqq revealed these verses, whose core meanings we have given.
With that said, the following narration is from Jabir ibn Abd Allah, and it is present in the collections of Al-Tirmidhī, Ibn Majah.
Radiyallahu anhum wa ardahum ajmain.
“Our Master (asw) told Jabir (r.a.), ‘I see you are upset.’
He said, ‘My father is martyred, he left his wife, children, and debt.’
Our Master (asw) said: ‘Good news to you! Allah (c.c.) has raised your father and asked him, ‘O, Abdullah! Ask whatever you wish from Me,’ said Janâb-i Haqq.
Abdullah (r.a.) said, ‘I wish to go back to the world, and be a martyr again and again.’
Rabb Ta’ala said, ‘O, Abdullah! There is no going back.’
He said, ‘My Rabb! Convey this wish of mine to those in the world.’.”
Then, Allah sent down these verses (i.e. 3:169-170-171), so please pay close attention to these verses.
Time Stamp: 5:19
Our Master (asw), and seventy people including those who got injured in the Battle of Uhud, went after Abu Sufyan. They were wounded, some of them carried others on their backs. They went about 8 miles. They were carrying and supporting each other along the way.
They were enduring this misery only to not miss the sawāb (reward), and to be martyred.
They had routed the enemy and broke their fighting spirit. The believers pursued them until they reached Hamra al-Asad but the enemy ran nonetheless. Then our Prophet arrived at Lesser Badr with 70 people and called Abu Sufyan to battle in Lesser Badr, but he could not come out of fear, and ran back towards Mecca.
Their own people called them names and insulted them when they got back.
These verses revealed.
Our Prophet (asw), Prophet Muhammad Mustafa, is the most honourable, superior, most generous, most articulate, and most humble human being. You need to explore Quran in order to know about Prophet Muhammad. The moment you explore Quran you’ll come to realize that Prophet Muhammad is manifested as an embodiment of Quran, a living Book, and a living Islam.
The verses revealed about disbelievers (kāfirs), hypocrites (munafiqs), apostates (murtadd), and the Jews, and assurance was given to our Prophet.
[3:159] “Allah loves those who fully trust (tawakkul) in Allah.”
They are under the protection of Almighty Allah.
Go, and read the 3rd verse of Surah al-Talaq.
“Whoever puts his trust in Allah, then Allah is sufficient for him.”
Now, Al-Tirmidhī reported the following narration from Abu Zar (r.a.). “Allah Ta’ala said, ‘Those who were before and after, all the humans and the jinn – had all of you had the heart of the man who feared Allah most, this would add nothing to my Mulk (i.e. kingdom).” Allah also said, ‘If the opposite of this happened, it would not lessen anything from my Mulk (i.e. kingdom).” They cannot harm the closer servants (awliya‘). Harming them is like attempting to harm Allah.
Allah ordered jihād (struggle) in the Battle of Uhud, and ascertained the believers and the hypocrites, and just like this the tests will continue until the Last Day. The tests will continue and the believers and the hypocrites will be ascertained, and they will come to light. Actually, life itself is a test.
The following will be separated from one another: right and wrong, those who obey and disobey Allah, and the believers and non-Muslims. Life itself as a whole is a test.
“The Shaitan frightens the believers via waswas (whispering) and iiwa (billeting),” this narration is from Abū Hayyān and Ibn Kathīr. Bear this in mind. The Shaitan frightens the believers via waswas (whispering) and iiwa (billeting).” Shaitan wants to frighten them but true believers will never be frightened in the least, for they only fear Allah. Fear of Allah and love of Allah will increase them in faith, and make their iman/belief stronger.
Time Stamp: 10:03
The Yehud had sought help against their enemies for Muhammad’s sake. They knew him in Torah, and they were waiting for the coming of Muhammad, and then they denied. They ‘bought’ disbelief (kufr); thus, they became apostates (murtadd).
O, Muslims! Always ask help from Allah.
The word istinṣār (ﺍﺳﺘﻨﺼﺎﺭ) means – to seek assistance all the time. So, always ask assistance from Almighty Allah.
[3:173] “حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ” – “Allah is an excellent trustee.”
Always recite this with your heart and tongue. Ibrahim (a.s.) recited this as he entered fire, and you should recite it too.
This is from the notes of Al-Suyuti.
May Janâb-i Mawla bring us to a perfect iman/belief, and make us among the servants who are always under the command of the Real (al-Haqq).

Al-Quran Al-Karim Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 108
On the 181st to 197th verses of Surah Ali ‘Imran.
[00:15 – 00:40] The hodja is reciting the 181th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[00:40 – 00:49] The hodja is reciting the 182th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[00:49 – 01:21] The hodja is reciting the 183th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[01:21 – 01:36] The hodja is reciting the 184th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[01:36 – 01:59] The hodja is reciting the 185th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Our Almighty Rabb has introduced this mercy (rahmat) that is endless and splendorous to all the worlds, and encompassed all humanity with this mercy (rahmat), and called all creatures to the immortal life that is the Islamic mercy. So, we continue our lectures in order to present you these holy signs/verses (ayat) of Almighty Allah along with their quintessence and certain exegetical notes on them so that all of us may find life. These lectures are beginningless (azali) and endless (abadi) life lessons.
“Almighty Allah (c.c.) certainly heard the saying of those who said, ‘Verily, Allah is poor while we are rich,’. We will record what they said, and their killing the Prophets unjustly, and we will say, ‘Taste the scorching punishment.’.”
See, the Zion Jews made these killings erstwhile, and today they continue shedding blood in Palestine. Do you see the doings of Zionism in the world? They even said that to Allah. They said, “Verily, Allah is poor, while we are rich.” They have seen the severe punishments of their wrongdoings throughout history but they did never drive a lesson.
We have no word against those who believe in the real Musa and the real Torah. We are not saying anything to the Jews who read about Muhammad in Torah. We’re referring to the those who did not believe in their own Torah, and their own Musa (a.s.); and this is the mindset of those who do not believe in Bible and Isa (Jesus), and then deny Quran and Islam.
“That is due to what your hands have done and sent forth. Allah is never unjust to His (Allah’s) servants (qul).”
You have deserved this punishment.
“To those who say, ‘Indeed Allah has promised us that we will not believe in any Messenger until he brings to us a sacrifice which fire will eat,’ say, ‘Surely before me some Messengers came to you with manifest signs and with what you speak. If you are truthful people, then why did you kill them?’.”
Time Stamp: 5:28
“If they deny you, then certainly were denied the Messengers before you who came with manifest signs/proofs, Scriptures full of wisdom (hikmat), and the enlightening Book.”
O, the glorious Prophet! O, Muhammad! The mindset that denied you have also denied others Messengers in history.
“Every living (soul) will taste death.”
See, every living soul will give its life to Azrail (a.s.), they will submit their souls. If that soul is deprived of belief (iman) and Islam, then it will be taken below to Sijjin, to Jahannam. As for the believing souls, they will raise to alâ-yi illiyyîn – the highest degree.
“On the Day of Qiyamah your rewards will be paid in full. Then whoever is drawn from Jahannam and placed into Janna, then truly he has attained salvation. The life of the world is nothing but enjoyment of delusion.”
My dearest friends! Submit your hearts to the glorious Quran, understand Al-Quran Al-Karim well, and listen to it well so that you may find life! It is Allah who will give you the immortal life who sent you the Quran, Islam, and Muhammad so that you may find life. The life-giver is the Creator. These are the utterances of the Creator. This is the Book of the Creator. These are the principles of the Creator. This is the order of the Creator. These are the laws of the Creator and you may find life in them.
If we wish to find life altogether, then we have to study these life-giving holy lessons altogether.
Let us see what our Almighty Rabb says:
[08:08 – 08:33] The hodja is reciting the 186th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[08:33 – 08:54] The hodja is reciting the 187th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[08:54 – 09:13] The hodja is reciting the 188th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Dearest friends, and the servants (qul) of Allah! O, mankind created upon ahsan al-taqwim – in the finest form! Janâb-i Haqq created the heavens and the earth, and all the worlds including Janna for men, and Almighty Allah created men so that we may know Allah and fulfil the commands of Allah, worship Allah, and serve Allah.
Time Stamp: 9:56
The mindset that does not accept Allah, that does not accept this faith/iman and mercy/rahmat that is fundamental has invented things by denying the Real (al-Haqq). And for the mindset that invented disbelief, polytheism, and nifaq – certain punishments were placed for the crimes they commit, as they have deserved it.
Allah has manifested the justice, due to this justice various troubles in the world, breakdowns and explosions in the souls and the minds of the people, various calamities, various disasters, the punishments in the grave were created. Also, in the next life (mahshar), the Day of Judgement and the Jahannam was created.
So, get your head together! Iman (belief) and rahmat (mercy) and Islam are fundamental. So, do not go after the polytheism (shirk) and disbelief (kufr) that you have fabricated yourself by denying the fundamentals, rather renounce them and give up taboos, taghuts (i.e. false gods), and other things.
Give ear to the glorious Quran! What does Almighty Rabb say in these ayat (signs/verses)? Allah says the following so that us servants (qul) may find life, so let us see what these ayat (signs/verses) of Quran say:
“You will certainly be tested in your wealth and your lives.”
Remember this! Almighty Allah tests you with your wealth, yourselves and your sons and daughters. Whatever you have; you are in a test. So, win the test and your Rabb will keep the promise. So, abstain from what Allah has forbidden, and this is actually a fundamental way of winning the test.
“You will certainly hear from those who were given the Book before you, from those who ascribe partners to Allah, many hurtful words.”
Now, let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says here. The word, ‘who were given the Book’ is the Jews and Christians who were given the Book, and the polytheists. It is said in the verse that we will hear many hurtful words from the polytheists. See, it is Almighty Allah who said it.
See, even in the time we live in, there are many modern deviants and modern betrayers who speak ill about Muhammad, our Prophet, who came as a mercy upon all the worlds. Some of them have incurred the wrath of Allah, and some have gone astray (are in dalalet), and others do not even know Allah anymore.
“If you are patient, and truly fear Allah, then verily this is of the matters of determination.”
“One-time Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Book, ‘You will certainly explain it to mankind, and not conceal (what is inside) it.’ Then, they turned a deaf ear to it, and exchanged it with a little worldly wealth. How evil is the exchange they did.”
See, what did they conceal most? They recognized Muhammad better than their own sons. Torah and Bible was introducing and explaining Muhammad in detail. They concealed these first.
As a matter of fact, Umar had asked Abdullah ibn Salam who was a Jewish scholar by giving an oath.
Time Stamp: 15:00
Umar asked, “Do you recognize Muhammad in Torah?” Abdullah said, “I recognize him better than my own son, I know him better than I know my own son. For my sons’ mother may have cheated me, and I may not be the father of my child, so I may doubt if he is my son but I do not have any doubts regarding Muhammad. In Torah, I recognize him better than my own son,” he said.
This goes for Bible too, for Isa (Jesus) heralded Muhammad, and Musa (Moses) informed his tribe about Muhammad.
This and many other things have been concealed. So, because they did not become Muslims, they did not want the society to become Muslims. They wanted to divide the world, and tear it to pieces. They wanted to transgress the commands of Allah who is One. With that said, to transgress beyond the commands of Allah who is One, and to cause global segregation as if there are multiple gods is betrayal to self and humanity.
“Do not think that those who want to rejoice what they have done, and want to be praised for what they have not done (will be approved)! Do not think they will escape from punishment! There is a painful punishment for them.”
You see, the glorious Quran has been explaining the truths one by one. Now, let us see how it is disclosed that Allah is the absolute, unique, and omnipotent (muqtadir) ruler of all the worlds.
[17:18 – 17:29] The hodja is reciting the 189th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[17:29 – 17:39] The hodja is reciting the 190th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[17:39 – 18:01] The hodja is reciting the 191th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[18:01 – 18:11] The hodja is reciting the 192th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[18:11 – 18:29] The hodja is reciting the 193th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[18:30 – 18:40] The hodja is reciting the 194th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
Let us give ear to the absolute and omnipotent (muqtadir) ruler of all the worlds, and hear what is being said to us; Allah is being introduced here.
Those who did not accept Allah, the absolute and omnipotent (muqtadir) ruler of all the real worlds, have invented idols on earth. They invented other rulers, and started divinizing the creatures (makhluq), and they could not see the Creator (al-Khalq).
See, it is because when people cannot see the Holy One, they start seeing humans as gods, and the idols become their gods, or themselves (nafs) become their gods, or wealth/property become their gods, or ranks/degrees become their gods. They start declaring people as gods when they demonstrate a little heroism. There are many gods of those who do not accept the Holy One. Then one day you’ll see, war of selves and gods, and rent wars.
Time Stamp: 20:00
The calamity that those who do not accept the sole and absolute ruler, and the disaster they bring upon humanity is this war of gods, and these rent wars. There is no faith/iman, no justice, no love, but there is a behaviour worse than that of hyenas.
That is why Janâb-i Haqq says, “The kingdom (mulk) of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah.”
You see, the kingdom/mulk and sovereignty belongs to Allah, along with all the worlds, without a beginning (azali) or an end (abadi).
“Allah has power over all things.”
See, could Allah create this universe otherwise? It is clear that Allah is al-Qadir (All-Powerful) by all the things He (Allah) created. Could Allah create you otherwise? Who can create such a nervous system that consists of billions of nerves? Who can create your cells, your flesh, the systems in your body; your soul, your body, those eyes you have, your tongues capable of speech, and the intellect that we all have? Who can create the heart and the soul and the contents that come with them?
See the omnipotent (al-Qadir) Allah has created this universe, and created it for men. Allah created men in the finest form (ahsan-i taqwim). Allah created men so that they may worship Him (Allah).
See, this Holy Ruler who created men is the Absolute Ruler. The kingdom (mulk) and sovereignty belong to Him (Allah). So, you shall know Him (Allah). You shall bow down to Him (Allah), and you will save yourself from idols, and polytheism. The monotheistic faith (tawhid iman) shall shine through your chest, and you shall glow with this faith/iman.
There is where modernity and enlightenment begin.
O, you who do not accept Allah, created from a drop of water, smelling worse than rotten flesh upon demise! You who do not accept Allah! You who do not accept His (Allah’s) laws! You will give your life to Azrail. You were created from nothing, and you will pass away, and come to the gathering (mahshar), and all the judges and all the rulers of the world will be brought to account by the Absolute Ruler, in the gathering (mahshar).
The judges of the world, make right decisions! The rulers of the world, do your duty right! The generals, do your duties right! O, the government employees, managers, labourers, employers, shepherds, and bosses, do your job right for you will answer to Allah!
My words are especially for those who do not explain the Quran correctly, and those with fake titles who submit themselves to others for rent! The impostor theologists, come and explain the Quran correctly to the public, and do not be scared of taghuts (i.e. false gods) and idols!
Fear Allah, and love Allah, and then by this love you will start loving the creatures, and by this fear you’ll abstain from doing wrong to the creatures. There is only one fear, and that is fear of Allah, and just like that there is only one love, and that is the love of Allah, and through this love the creatures of Allah are loved.
It is the measures set forth by Allah that define who you will love and who you will not. You cannot choose this according to your sweet will, this is defined by the divine measures.
That is why, “In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alteration of the night and the day, there are indeed clear and noteworthy signs/proofs for men of understanding.”
Time Stamp: 25:00
So, use your head. There are cosmological ayat (signs), so try to discover the laws of those ayat (signs). But do this by accepting Allah, and by believing. Do this by knowing that your strength, power, and ability comes from Allah. So, endeavour to discover the laws of nature by knowing you belong to Allah with everything you have.
See, our beloved Prophet recited these two verses, over and over again, and he cried until morning. He recited these two verses over and over again until morning and he cried, and if you contemplate on the contents of these verses then you’ll understand why he cried. You’ll understand why he cried if you see the current state of his people!
“Those who remember Allah standing, and sitting, and laying on their sides; and they do dhikr of Allah. They reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth as they should. They beseech, ‘O, our Rabb! You have not created this in vain. Glorious You are, save us from the torment of Fire.’.”
They see the holy qudrah/omnipotence when they observe the heavens, and when they observe the earth. They express they fail as servants, they confess their inability, they confess their ignorance, and they confess that they cannot fulfil their duty to the Holy One properly, and they start pleading.
“Our Rabb! You have disgraced whom you admit to the fire of Jahannam. For the wrongdoers (zalimun) there are no helpers.”
Now, about zulm, one may inflict cruelty upon himself, or he may inflict cruelty upon both himself and others. The former case with self-cruelty is limited to that person, but it is a completely different story when the cruelty that touches others, and we call it fawahish (shameful) and fuhsiya (immoral).
Therefore, doing injustice (zulm) to others is the kind that wrongdoers (zalimun) do. Those who do injustice (zulm) to themselves only ruin themselves but those who do injustice (zulm) to others aim at driving other people to their perishment.
See, the right and reality that said stop to both of these is Islam. Islam does not give passage to injustice (zulm). Islam does not want anything to happen to the humanity, and does not let anyone speak ill about them, and certainly does not favor injustice. Islam sides with fair and equal distribution of the divine mercy.
Allah is just, and Allah commands justice, and forbids injustice (zulm).
“Our Rabb! We heard a caller calling to the faith by saying ‘Believe in your Rabb,” so we have believed. Our Rabb! Forgive us for our sins, cover our bad deeds, and take us by Your side with Your servants who have reached You,” these are the abrār/righteous servants who implement the sharia (law).
Time Stamp: 30:00
“Our Rabb! Grant us what you promised to Your messengers, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Qiyamah. Indeed, You do not break Your promise.”
Now, let us see how Janâb-i Haqq replied to this plead. Please read carefully, for this plead is the plead of the servants of pure heart.
Janâb-i Haqq replied:
[30:38 – 31:17] The hodja is reciting the 195th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[31:17 – 31:23] The hodja is reciting the 196th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
[31:23 – 31:32] The hodja is reciting the 197th verse of Surah Ali ‘Imran [3].
See, Janâb-i Haqq gave these replies to their supplications. So, let us delve into the meanings of these answers by our Rabb’s grace.
“Then their Rabb responded to them: “Whether male or female, I will not waste deeds of any doer among you.”
Pay attention now!
“I will not waste deeds of any doer among you, whether male or female.”
So, no legitimate and beneficial deeds will go in vain. It is just that the good deeds (ameli salih) are done with iman/faith.
“You are from each other. Those who emigrated, and were driven out from their homes, and were harmed in My way, and those who fought and were killed… Surely, I will cover their sins, and I will surely admit them to Jannah with rivers flowing from underneath them. The best reward is from near Allah.”
Now, let us pay close attention here. Janâb-i Haqq said that we are from each other, but what does it mean? See, we are all servants (qul) of Allah, and children of Adam and Hawwa. So, is there a single righteous reason for division and segregation? Men are servants (qul) of Allah, and children of Adam and Hawwa, and there is only one religion, which is Islam. And Allah is One. So, why are you dividing humanity?
Islam is the religion of Allah, religion of all the Prophets, and all the Book revealed to them are of Islam. They are all Books that belong to the religion of Islam. The fundamentals (amantu) of Islam encompasses all of them. There is no segregation in Islam, rather it is in those who oppose to Islam, and deny Allah and deny the principles of Allah. See, there is no division or separation in Islam.
Besides, Islam is a universal religion, and Prophet Muhammad is a universal Prophet. He is not a Prophet sent for a town, a state, or a nation. He is the Prophet of all the worlds and all humanity. Islam is universal, and this is why we should explain Al-Quran Al-Karim to the world correctly, and we should know it correctly, and Allah’s mercy (rahmat) has encompassed all humanity.
Time Stamp: 35:02
Islam is the all-encompassing mercy of Allah, and Muhammad is the Prophet of Mercy sent to all the worlds. Almighty Allah personally said it.
The hodja is reciting the 107th verse of Surah al-Anbiya [21].
“We did not send you but as a mercy to all the worlds,” said Allah.
Then why are they dividing and separating people? They are cheating humanity off their rights, and they are not making equal distribution. The humanity is only doing the bidding of their selves, their Iblīs, their taghuts (i.e. false gods), and their idols. Do what Allah says, for Allah created you. Surrender to Allah, and obey Allah’s Prophet, and submit to the principles he brought.
The Quran is the Book of life-giving Allah, so listen to it and understand it well. Properly narrate and read it to all people from seven to seventy including your entire progeny; and live it well so that you may find life, that you may find true life!
Don’t say you want to just go and live your life, rather live the life-giving and peerless life-style of Allah Ta’ala, which is Islam, so that you may find life. Besides, what life is there except the life-style of Islam? Is there another life-giver besides Allah? Is it possible to live in the wrong way, and look for right in the wrongs?
No matter how much you wish to blow off some steam outside Islam, and no matter how much you try to go and enjoy life and party, it will only increase your stress, and you may think that you are reducing stress by doing all that. So, go ahead and dance all you want, party all you want, jump around and deny the reality. It does not matter how much you hop around and party by disacknowledging the Real (al-Haqq), it will only increase your stress.
Believe, your faith shall shine through your heart like the sun, there is a bliss in your heart, a light. Let that light of bliss shine. Let the divine love fill your heart to the brim. See, that divine love is an ocean and you are like a fish in it, or rather a drop of water, so feed from this love. See, if you are a drop of water in an endless ocean, then that drop is nourished by the endless ocean.
Do you see that drop of water, nourished by that love? See, Islam is the mercy of Allah. It is the manifestation of divine love, the manifestation of divine mercy; and it is the manifestation of the justice and mercy of Allah.
So, enter Islam, for Islam is love and mercy of Allah from. So, feed from this ocean that is love, but do this by loving Allah, and certainly not by denying Allah’s seas and oceans. For if you deny the ocean, and you are just a drop in it – then you’ll splash to the side and dry away, or a creature will come and drink you, and you’ll fall into the belly of that creature.
You are a single drop, and you were created out of a fluid that is not even as large as a drop, and Allah gave you dignity, and honoured you with Islam, and sent down the divine values in order to increase your honor, and wants to admit you into the Janna (Paradise), and on top of that wants to show you His (Allah’s) Jamal (Beauty).
You are mortal, and Allah wants to give you an immortal life. So, use your minds. O, humanity! We are all children of Adam, and I am begging you the way I beg my brother! Almighty Allah begs the servants (qul), saying: “Do not do this My servant. Says, My punishment is severe, and My mercy is all-encompassing. If you deny Me, My principles, My laws, My book, and its verses, then My punishment is severe. I have justice, and Islam is My mercy, should you believe wholeheartedly. I have encompassed all the worlds with My mercy, so come to My mercy, come to Islam, and come to Quran,” says Allah. Will you not come? Then, it is your decision. But if you do come, then you will be nourished by the ocean of divine love and be happy forever.

Do not say you weren’t told. Those who do not explain the Quran in the correct way will be wearing gag-bits made of fire. Allah’s curse has been upon them, and will continue to be upon them, for Allah’s Books cannot be concealed. The truths should be discovered correctly, and exegeted correctly, and conveyed correctly, and then those who believe may believe, and those who don’t may not, it is up to each person to decide. We do not impose at all, rather we have love and we are bidding the truth; and bidding truth is a command of Allah to us, so we are obliged to bid.
Everyone is obliged to do what they can afford, and no matter where right knowledge resides, what is right and real cannot be withheld, concealed, or distorted. Islam is a complete truth, and wrongs belong to the servants (qul), they belong to us. As for the rights, they belong to Islam.
This is why Almighty Allah says, “Do not let the movement of the kāfirs around the world deceive you.” This is what Almighty Allah said.
Let’s hear the original text.
[41:39 – 41:51] The hodja is reciting an excerpt from the 197th verse of Surah Ali Imran [3].
“Do not let the movement of the kāfirs around the world, and the luxurious lives they build deceive you! These are temporary enjoyments, trivial, and momentary, and past the grave they will not be of any use, other than trouble.
See, without iman, the grave and the great gathering (mahshar) is worse, and they are nothing but eternal frustration. So, do not be deceived by the movement of the kāfirs around the world at all! Their luxurious lives, abundant wealth, and gaudiness deceive you! Do not be deceived by their polish!
Rather see faith (iman), and good deeds (amel-i salih)! See, there is benefit, and eternal salvation here in faith (iman), and Islam. Therefore, if they are deprived of faith (iman) and Islam, and if they do not accept the Real (al-Haqq), and if they deny the ayat (signs/verses) of the Real (al-Haqq), and if they the Quran, and if they the Holy Book, and if they the principles of Allah, and if they deny the Prophet whom Allah sent upon all the worlds as a mercy, then do not let what they have deceive you, for they are temporary and momentary things!
“Then their abode is Jahannam (Hell) forever.”
“This is a little enjoyment,” said Janâb-i Haqq.
Allah says: مَتَاعُ الدَّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ – a little enjoyment.
So, bear this in mind!
This world is nothing but a little enjoyment. Just look at your life, you’ll discover this with ease if you are a man of understanding. So, go through your life, your childhood, your adulthood, and see the days you lived in perfect health and those you did not, and consider the days and the nights, and the hours you have slept, and the hours you have worked!
See, how many years you have left in the world that are useful? This is why the world is a matter of time, and because the world is a matter of time, the Muslims need to work hard. For they need to earn good deeds, and work as long as they can for the benefit of humanity, and please Allah.
Besides, the principles of work along with its rules and measures have been defined in Islam; Allah defined them. So, start your work with your knowledge (ilm), gnosis (irfan), and faith (iman), and work as hard as you can, because the hardworking people invest in the next life; and they see the world as a job site near the afterlife, and they work hard. See, he who does that is a Muslim.
Time Stamp: 45:00
See, there is a short life, a short term, so work as hard as you can in this brief period so that you may earn many sawābs (rewards) and remove the sins, but how? Abandon the harams and sins and continue to repent and ask for forgiveness, and do all the obligatory (fard), necessary (wajib), and sunnah deeds, and if something is haram and sin then stay away from it, and also stay away from the things you doubt so that you may complete your taqwa – piety. See, this is called Wara‘. See, Wara‘ is to stay away from even doubted things, for the religion of Islam bids what is right and wards off what is harmful. Islam is a religion of knowledge (ilm), gnosis (irfan), and science. There is nothing random in Islam, everything is a divine measure, knowledge (ilm), and gnosis (irfan). An aspect of Islam is above and beyond science and nature, which is the Holy Book, Book of Allah, and the divine revelation (wahy-i ilahi). Al-Quran Al-Karim has been manifested to us from the beginningless (azali) and endless (abadi) knowledge (ilm) of Allah. There is another aspect, which is the scientific results we obtain using the means given to us. So, there is also the scientific studies that people obtain.
The science that brings forth helpful things is an indispensable value of Islam. See, it is Islam. So, whoever brings forth something helpful, then it is Islam, and this very act is in Islam. So, clearly this is from Islam.
Let me explain this, wherever there is something beneficial, right, and beautiful, then it is Islam; wherever there is a harm whether personal or social, then it is not from Islam. That is why we say: O, Muslims! Work hard!
You are under the rulership of the Real (al-Haqq), and work by obeying Allah under the sovereignty of Allah, and do not ever bow down to taghuts (i.e. false gods) or idols because it is said that this world is nothing but a little enjoyment, and then their abode is Jahannam (Hell). See, Allah says the abode of the deniers is such a wretched resting place.
Some people work for Jahannam. The deniers in the world work hard, but what are they working towards? They are working towards Jahannam, but why? This is because they deny. They deny the principles of Allah, they deny the Book, they deny the Prophet, and they deny the laws and ayat (signs/verses) of Allah.
They also work hard, but what are they working towards? They are working towards Jahannam (Hell); is this not a pity? This is the end of denial, and Janâb-i Haqq gives the returns of whatever people earn. Do you think you will be rewarded with Janna when you acquire kufr? The return of disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), and being rebellious to Allah, is Jahannam (Hell), which is a necessity of the justice of Allah.
Al-Quran Al-Karim itself says this, therefore it is not possible for me to say something contrary to the Quran, right? If I say, or if I’ve said, then I repent and ask for forgiveness thousands of times, and I refrain right away.
[198] “But for those who truly fear their Rabb, there are gardens (jannah) under which rivers flow.”
With that said, what is the sign or proof of fearing Allah and loving Allah? This sign is to submit to every command of Allah.
Some say they love Allah, but they do not listen to the commands, and they do not fulfil the commands, and they do not obey, and they still say they love Allah, so what is this?
Time Stamp: 50:00
This is fraud, and you can only deceive yourself, for no one can deceive Allah. You cannot deceive others too, meaning you only deceive yourself. Some naive or ignorant people may have believed you at that time.
Prove that you love Allah by obeying Allah. Run away from harams and sins, and prove that you are obeying Allah. Some rebel against Allah, and say they love Allah and they fear Allah. Even the carrion eating crows will not believe it! See, those crows may eat carrion and swallow all the germs whole, and hit their beak to soil, thinking it has cleaned itself. It is its innate nature (fitrah), but you cannot say you are faithful as you slowly drink from disbelief. Is that even possible?
In the 198th verse it is said that they will abide in Janna (Paradise) forever. They will be accommodated near Allah. They are at the feast of Allah, which is an endless table of happiness, and they are forever at the table of never-ending mercy of Allah.
For the righteous, the bounties that are near Allah are better. The worldly bounties are surely good, but there are better things in the afterlife. Besides, Jannah (Paradise) is indescribably holy, and that is why we should strive for the better. There is death in this world, there is old age, there is sickness, and there is misery, but the religion of Islam prepares this worldly life for the immortal life in which there is no sickness; this is what Islam is preparing us for. Islam prepares us for a life without old age. Islam prepares us for an immortal life, which is this Janna (Paradise).
Actually, Islam is the Janna of the world, but the current situation remains for the mankind cannot comprehend and implement Islam properly.
“There are such people among the People of the Book that they believe in Allah, and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them – by humbly bowing down to Allah.”
You see, they are the true People of the Book. They are those who read Bible correctly, who read Torah correctly, who have believed in Quran, and believed in the Prophethood of Muhammad (asw). It is said in the verse that there are such people among the People of the Book that they believe in Allah, they believe in what was revealed to you, which is Al-Quran Al-Karim, and what was revealed to them. So, what was revealed to them? Torah, Bible, Psalm, and the Scriptures were revealed to them, and they believe them too, by humbly bowing down to Allah. Bear this in mind. Only the people who believe in these truths are among the real People of the Book, and they are the real Christians and Jews. They believe in Allah by being humbly submissive.
“They do not exchange with the verses of Allah with a little price. They do not sell the verses of Allah. Their reward is with Allah. Indeed, Allah is swift in taking the account.”
O, you who believe! Be steadfast, and persevere against your enemies, be on constant watch, and truly fear Allah, so that you may find salvation.
May Janâb-i Haqq make us among the servants (qul) who attain salvation, and be happy; make us among those whose worldly life is paradise, and those whose grave and afterlife is paradise, and who attain the Divine Beauty (Jamal-i Ilahi).

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 110
I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most Merciful.
[3:198] “But there are gardens (jannah) for those who are duly fear their Rabb (Lord). They will abide therein eternally, and they will be hosted near Allah. What is with Allah is better for the righteous.”
[3:199] “Surely, there are people among the People of the Book who believe in Allah, believe in what was sent down to you and in what was sent down to them by being humbly submissive to Allah. They do not exchange with the ayat (sings/verses) of Allah for a little price. And their reward is near Allah. Verily, Allah is swift in taking the account.”
[3:200] “O, you who believe! Be patient, and show persistence against your enemies, and take turns in guard duty, and fear Allah, so that you may attain salvation.”
