1 – Al-Quran Al-Kareem Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 1

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

“Alhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alAmīn. Wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma-‘iyn.” Sûbhaneke lâ îlme lenâ illamâ âllemtena inneke ente’l âliymûl hakîm.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

O! Allah who is the most exalted of all. You are attributed with all perfect attributes and You are free and away from all the attributes that are imperfect. You are the One who created the creatures of this realm out of nothing and indeed it is You who gave mass to them. You are the One who administers the realms as the sole ruler. The command comes only from You. The divine creation is from You. The sovereignty Yours! Everything comes from You. Only the sins and using the blessing and the free-will (that You have bestowed upon us) for the evil purposes is from the rebellious people. O, my Allah! Enlighten my heart, with the lights of the Quran. Enlighten the hearts of all Ummah (Nation) of Muhammad, my Allah! Your book is the light; the never-fading light of Islam. The glorious Quran is Your book. It has no peers, and no comparables. Your religion is the true (haqq) religion, a unique religion. With this religion people of earth find life this is the light of the life-giver the existence of serenity itself; this is the life-style Islam introduced us. Allah has not accepted the other life-styles. Allah has chosen Islam as the correct life-style. My Allah! May You enlighten our hearts just like You have made Al-Quran Al-Karim bright, and luminous! Amīn! O Divine! I have made praising You a crown within my words. I have made mentioning You a journey to my heart. I have made Your book a wide and open road for me. I was not present, yet you made me. And you informed me of your presence. You have made my soul tremble with your compassion and love. I took refuge in Your mercy, and I came to Your door. I took refuge in Your guidance, and I came to your grace. Then I came to your forgiveness, when I failed as a servant. Do no daze me, make me tell the truth, have me hear Your joy, and teach me the truth. If you do not make me hear, then I cannot hear nor can I love; then make us love what You like and make us criticize what You dislike. May what You had us reach be our beloved. You have loved Your beloved, and made the universe love him. You have loved him, and you made him wear hil’at-i risalet (dress of the prophet). You have made him reach Al-Maqam Al-Mahmud (the praised state). You took him from Maqam Ibrahim (Station of Abraham) and made him reach Al-Maqam Al-Mahmud (the praised state). O divine! You made him the leader of all Islamic scholars. You made him the Last Prophet. You made him Muhammad Mustafa. May good wishes and prayers be upon him. May greetings and prayers be upon him and may all kinds of respect be upon him and his companions and followers, and his loved ones O, my Allah! Please, accept our prayers. Gafrallahu lehum velil mü’minine ve haşerahum meannebiyyine vesseddigîne veşşühedâi vessâlihîn âmîn, âmîn, âmîn.” “Allahummehşurnâ meallezine en amte aleyhim minen nebiyyîne vessiddîgîne veşşuhedâi vessâlihîn ve hasune ulâike rafîga”

O, Allah! May You render Al-Quran Al-Karim as an adjudicator over us! May You not admit us among those who abide by their nafs (self). May you not admit us among those who follow someone else’s heva (desire). O, Allah! Admit us among your servants who submit themselves to You with every fiber of their being. May You not admit us among those who manipulate Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim for their selfish desires! May you admit us among those who strictly abide by all Your rules and those who subject themselves to the sharīʿah (canonical law) of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.). May you not admit us among those who stir up their religion and those who rise doubt in other’s heads. May You protect us from the enormities of the dubious the deniers, the munafiq (hypocrite), the mushrikun (polytheists). We seek refuge in You from all those. O, Allah! It is You who introduced the sharīʿah (canonical law); You are the Law-Maker. May You shield the Ummah (Nation) of Muhammad .and all mankind from the evil doings of the mushrikun (polytheists) who stand against your laws by denying them and dictating other laws. O, Rabb (Lord)! Amīn. Save the Ummah (Nation) of Muhammad and the entire mankind from the destruction that shirk (polytheism) has caused to the mankind. Save us from the order of shirk (polytheism) the laws of shirk (polytheism), and the cruelties of shirk! O, Rabb (Lord)! Assist us in comprehending the reality at heart. Assist us in understanding and comprehending that the laws of universal gravitation and the automated movement in the universe is only due to Your command. O, Allah! Help the scientists of the world who engage in scientific research to understand your sovereignty well. Help the scientists of the world first so that they may subject themselves to the sharīʿah (canonical law) of Muhammad. O, Rabb (Lord)! Have the Ummah of Muhammad join the ranks of the heroes of the truth who perform jihad (struggle) on Your side. O Allah! It is You who manifests with Your rahmat (blessing) into the realm of man via the glorious Quran, blissful Islam, and in the person of Muhammad. It is You who manifests into the realms with Your rahmat (blessing). “O, the Rabb (Lord) of the worlds! The majestically composed verses of the Quran is a place where the scientific contexture and aesthetic contexture embraces one another and becomes one so that the laws work in order with a scientific contexture in our solar system, and in the galaxies. It is You who established this contexture; it is You who gave the command. It is You who created this order. It is You who manages this order. O, the Rabb (Lord) of the realms! O, Allah! Those who are unaware of the joy of truth are condemned to dreams. Please, O Allah! Have us experience the enjoyments of the truth in our souls, hearts, our physical and spiritual structure! Give us a taste of the enjoyments of the truth! O, Rabb (Lord)! Those who don’t know the truth are condemned to imitating it. O, Rabb (Lord)! Save the Ummah of Muhammad from imitating and convey us closer to researching things!” “O, Allah! Those who are unheard of the truth embrace this world, please introduce Yourself! Introduce Yourself with your hidayat (guidance), and Your grace. You have introduced all about your names and attributes via Islam but the ears have been deafened, they can’t hear and the eyes have been blinded, they can’t see anymore.

Time Stamp: 10:15

O, Rabb (Lord)! It seems it is impossible for the people to see the truth until your lights of hidayat (guidance) shines in the souls. Rahmat (blessing), mercy, and hidayat (guidance) is comes only from You.” “Those who don’t know the world give rein to misgiving. O, my Allah! Admit us among your servants who know this world, and the hereafter (ākhira) who embrace the truth who accept the mortals and mortals and not divinize them who embraces Islam. Admit us among the smart, faithful, muttaqi (pious), muhsin (benevolent) servants. Please, do not admit us into the those who give rein to misgiving! Don’t let us be people who enthuse themselves with someone without seeing him. True bravery, heroism, and true jihad (struggle) is being a servant under your command. This hidayat (guidance) comes only from you. O, Rabb (Lord)! You are the true beauty, the real beauty! You are the peerless beauty; it is You who creates these beauties. The ones who don’t see a true beauty are looking for it in paintings and pictures, they enthuse themselves over it. O, Rabb (Lord)! Don’t admit us among those imposters. The true beauty belongs only to You, admit us into those who see You. Those who can’t see ahead will deviate in the end. O, Rabb (Lord)! Admit us into those who see the truth. Those who don’t acknowledge the laws will deviate. Admit us into those who acknowledge Your laws. Those who don’t acknowledge the book will open their eyes in the Ruz-i Cezâ (Day of Judgement). Admit us into those who acknowledge Your book duly. Those who don’t understand the Quran get tangled around translations. Admit us into those who understand Al-Quran Al-Karim properly.” “O, Lord! Ilm (science), irfan (knowledge) and the entirety of all sustenance is from You. Allâhümme eğneni bil eyni ve zeyyinnî bil hılmi ve ekrimni bittakvâ ve cemminni bil âfiyeh. “O, Rabb (Lord) of the worlds! There are people who disrupt their religion, who are broken to pieces. Shield us from the enormities of those who disrupt their religion! Protect us from those whose religions are shattered. You command unity in your sharīʿah (canonical law) and in your commands You order unifying in the peerless order of Islam. In this day, mankind is mistaken and deviated into neglect; they are being torn to pieces. The hidayat (guidance) that will unify their hearts is with You. O, my Allah! Unite the hearts, for Your religion is one, and You are One. Unite the Ummah of Muhammad in your tawhid īmān (monotheistic faith)! Unite their powers, and their goals. In that union of Islam, the world will have peace and conciliation, and social justice. Please have the Islamic peace and the social justice of Islam reign over the world. O, my Allah! Unite the strength of the people, and unite their imān (beliefs). Unite the souls of the nation for national imān (belief)! It is You who can unite them, so please accept our prayers.” Amīn. “O, my Allah! We couldn’t translate Al-Quran Al-Karim into any other language thoroughly and we stand helplessly in the face of the task. Hence, bestow the ability of knowing the Quran to the mankind as you have explained it to Prophet Muhammad. For the Quran through which You have introduced Islam has been implemented by Prophet Muhammad. Then, ahl-e Sunnat wa’l-Jamaat came to this day by protecting it and they will protect it until the qiyāmah (Judgement Day).

Time Stamp: 15:08

Please, grant the ability to understanding Islam correctly like ahl-e Sunnat wa’l-Jamaat along with the ability to explain Al-Quran Al-Karim correctly. Please give this ability to the entire mankind foremost the ālims (muslim scholars) of the Ummah of Muhammad. O, Rabb (Lord)! Protect us from the enormities of the ignorant people. Protect us from those who speak ill of us, those who speak through their hat. O, Rabb (Lord)! Protect us from the systems which support the incorrect and the enormities of the butlers of such systems. Protect us from the false religious leaders who seem like theologists but are fed by the bātil (the wrong) systems. O, my Allah! The salvation of the entire mankind is with You! You have placed the truth into this world and the realms that shine through the bosom of Prophet Muhammad who is the manifestation of your rahmat (blessing). You have placed the truth into this world under the leadership of Muhammad whom You have sent as the prophet of rahmat (blessing). This truth which I am speaking of is Islam. This reality, is the teachings of Al-Quran Al-Karim. O, Rabb (Lord)! Please grant this to the entire mankind.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem  Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 2

A’uzhu billahi minash shaitanir rajim. Bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm. “Alhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alamin. Wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma-‘iyn.” “Rabbish rahli sadri, wa yassirli amri wah lul uqdatan min lisaani, yaf kahu kauli.”

Bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm.

“al-ḥamdu li-llāhi rabbi l-ʿālamīn ar-raḥmāni r-raḥīm, māliki yawmi d-dīn ʾiyyāka naʿbudu wa-ʾiyyāka nastaʿīn ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭa l-mustaqīm ṣirāṭa lladhīna ʾanʿamta ʿalayhim ghayri l-maghḍūbi ʿalayhim wa-lā ḍ-ḍāllīn.” Amīn, amīn, amīn.

Venerable, and esteemed listeners.

Needless to say, Al-Qur’an Al-Karim is the book of Allah, without debate. Islam is a religion introduced by Almighty Allah through his laws and the only religion in the presence of Allah is Islam. Indeed, with Allah religion is Islām. The religion of Islam consists entirely of goodness rahmat (blessing), hidayat (guidance) and nur (the light). Islam is fazeelat (virtue). The Islam is the name for salvation in both realms. The values of Islam is a life-giver. They are the values of Islam. Moreover, the correct life-style is the one that Islam had introduced. Therefore, „the contest in the goodness“ is actually a contest in fazeelat (virtue) in Islam. I mean, in Islam, fazeelat (virtue) is like a contest it is a contest in goodness. It is such a contest that people will always seek to rise in order to be in the front ranks. Such is a contest of the people who came from Allah, and will go back to Allah. Now, the first condition of being able to succeed in that contest is taqwā (piety). The religion of Islam is built around requesting taqwā (piety) from the Muslims. People rise in rank by means of taqwā (piety). People attain Allah’s consent through taqwā (piety). However, taqwā (piety) has preconditions as well one of which is uniting īmān (belief) and ‚ilm (knowledge). A person will achieve the greatest rank when īmān (belief) ‚ilm (knowledge) comes together in him. That makes the person a pilgrim in learning Allah’s consent. It also means that he has worked hard for his earnings. Imān (belief) and ‚ilm (knowledge) has to unite in order to attain the greatest rank. That is how one rises in the religion of Islam for Janâb-i Haqq says this in the 28th verse of Surah Al-Fatir: „ʾinnamā yakhshā llāha min ʿibādihi l-ʿulamā,“ commands Allah. “Only those fear Allah, from among Allah’s servants, who have knowledge [ālims].” Naturally, in this context first of the two wings that will convey us to Allah is love, and the second wing is fear. What is referred to by the word “fear” is, of course shielding ourselves from kufr (disbelief) shirk (polytheism), nifaq (hypocrisy), and revolting against Allah.

Time Stamp: 5:01

What is referred to by the word “love” is obeying to Allah and fulfilling each and every one of Allah’s commands. You see, there must be obedience, but there can’t be rebellion. Now, as you have seen, two wings of taqwā (piety) that will convey us to Allah appear here, one is fear, the other is love. You see, one of them is fear, and the other one is love. However, having īmān (belief) and ‚ilm (knowledge) is necessary before all that. This is what builds the taqwā (piety) which is where all the serenity in the world is comes from. Let’s see what Janâb-i Haqq commanded: „yā-ʾayyuhā lladhīna ʾāmanū dkhulū fī s-silmi kāffatan“ That is the 208th ayah al-karima (verse of qur’an) of Surah Al-Baqarah: “O believers! Enter into Islam [peace] wholeheartedly.” Now, in this case: O, those who believe! The believers have to build peace and agreement, justice, brotherhood and most importantly social order in between them; this is a must. Because, those who believe must ensure a complete peace, a peace of Islam in their spiritual worlds, hearts, families, selves, and in the public. That is what Allah wants, and it is Allah who suggests entering into peace (the Islam) wholeheartedly. After internal peace is achieved, one should aim at achieving world peace; the internal peace will reflect to outside. The peace in the ‚alam al-anfus (the spiritual realm) realm will reflect to the ‚alam al-afaq (the physical realm), ensuring the peace in the universe. In other words, the world peace will be ensured. Now, also when we look into Islam from this perspective it is clear that another name for “universal peace in the earth” is Islam. The address for achieving peace is Islam. There can’t be peace in the earth without Islam for in the earth the Islam is under the rule of Allah. Islam, is he implementation of Allah’s laws. As long as the laws of peace prevail in the souls and the hearts and as long as they reflect to the universe from the souls and the hearts the divine order will emerge as justice, peace, social stability and justice. That is why Islam is the order of Allah. Islam is unprecedented, it was before, and it is now. It will stay unprecedented eternally. For that reason, it is a must for the believers to ensure internal peace in their communities. They need to put Islam into practice in order to ensure peace in their communities. Islam is not an order that you can cast aside and prison it is the one and eternal order of the earth and the heavens, which is unique. I mean, it is the way of governing the universe and the world via Allah’s laws, and the balances that Allah established. This realm is the property of Allah. Is there a power in Allah’s property, who can say “I do not recognize Allah and his laws, or his order.”? If there is, then he should be ready for he’ll be struck by the justice of Allah. He should be ready for the punishment. That is why it is commanded in the ayah al-karima (verse of qur’an) that this peace should be ensured collectively. „ʾinna lladhīna farraqū dīnahum“ al-An’am/159.

Time Stamp: 10:04

Allah says the following: Never break your religion into pieces and don’t become one of those who has their religion broken into pieces. Ensure your unity and integrity, protect it; but don’t be broken into pieces. Don’t split up, don’t be broken into pieces. If you do, then after that point you’ll have no chance of protecting the unity, and the social peace. Beware of the divine message. Ensure the peace via the divine laws of Allah, and the order he manifested. Be one and whole in that order. The place that you’ll be together in one heart is the divine tawheed (monotheism) order. There is no other sovereignty in the realms other than the sovereignty of Allah. For that reason, the laws that will rule all realms must be Allah’s decrees. For it is not possible for us to implement another decree in place of Allah’s decrees. Just like it is not possible to place another divinity in the place of Allah. Allah has always been the only muqtadir (powerful) ruler, and will eternally be. Allah is described as comprehensive of all perfect attributes. Allah is free from imperfect attributes. Allah is One in Allah’s names and attributes and actions. Allah has no partners and no similars; nor Allah will ever have partners. Allah is wajib al – wūjūd (necessary existent). Allah’s existence is the necessity of the existence of Allah’s own power. All other makhluqat (creature) is of Allah’s creation they are Allah’s servants. The order in all realms, is the order Allah established. Billions of stars and galaxies in the universe is in perfect harmony they all move in their pre-designated orbits, but why do they do that? This is because, the creation comes from Allah, the command comes from Allah. ‘’Elâ lehül halgu vel emru tebârekallâhu Rabbül Âlemîn’’ Beware, Allah says! To Allah belongs the creation, and Allah’s is the command. That is Allah who is ta’ala (most exalted) and tabaraq (blessed) fayyaz (munificent). Allah is the Rabb (Lord) of all realms, Allah says. „Elâ lehül halgu vel emru tebârekallâhu Rabbül Âlemin.“ Do not forget this ayah al-karima (verse of qur’an) ever! Try to listen and understand all of the commands of Al-Quran Al-Karim with every fiber of your being! Al-Quran Al-Karim is the perpetual constitution of Allah. The eternal and perpetual constitution and the divine laws are present in Al-Quran Al-Karim. Al-Quran Al-Karim incorporates the entirety of all books and the sharīʿah (canonical laws) of the past, and all valid aspects. So, whatever the future ages, times and nations may need; and whatsoever may be the needs of all ages and all nations; Al-Quran Al-Karim has incorporated all that into its structure. Therefore, Al-Quran Al-Karim is the law, order and the constitution of all ages. It is the sharīʿah (canonical law), constitution and law of all nations. Holding another law or another sharīʿah (canon law) instead of the laws of Allah’s order is not recognizing Allah and Allah’s laws. Which is the worst evil thing one can commit against humanity. As for science, there can’t be science by denying Allah. Science is basically, Allah’s creation of the development and advancement abilities in Allah’s servant.

Time Stamp: 15:07

For that reason, turn, and have a look at the universe. The earth is spinning at a rate of about 1,040 mph (1,670 km/h) in its own axis. Today, the fastest bullet travels at about 1,118 mph (1,800 km/h). You can understand how fast it travels despite the colossal dimension of the earth. You see, it is Allah who allows it to travel at that speed. It is Allah who made it such, and Allah who has created it in that way. It is Allah who created and organized this system in the way we see it. Janâb-i Haqq created it such, Allah gave the command precisely and the realms are moving by abiding Allah’s command. The earths orbital speed around the sun is approximately sixty times of a bullet it is about 67,000 mph (107,000 km/h). Just have a look. What is the power and the force that moves the earth in such speeds? You see, the order comes from Allah, the power comes from Allah and the creation is Allah’s creation. The order Allah established is Allah’s order. In the universe, the speed increases as the systems increase in size. For example, the orbiting speed of our solar system around the milky way galaxy is about 820.000 km/h. The milky way galaxy, incorporating two hundred billion stars travels in the space at approximately 950.000 km/h. Take all that into consideration, and have a look at the order we have today. It is not that hard to see that the power that created this realm has infinite power. When īmān (belief) ‚ilm (knowledge) comes together and when you recognize Allah well and abide by his command; the world will become peaceful. The peace, brotherhood, social justice and a peaceful order will all be formed in the world. When the time comes when people will leave Allah and Allah’s laws when love of Allah will be replaced with other affections that fills the hearts of the people when other things will replace Allah’s place in the hearts and the souls. The heart is the location of īmān (belief) which should brim with the love and fear of Allah. The entirety of heart is the place of īmān (belief). The heart must brim with īmān (belief), the love of Allah, and irfan (knowledge). You heart will brim with the splendors of tawhid (monotheism). However, if love of this world or some other affection takes Allah’s place in your heart and the love of Allah disappears what we call vehim (misgiving) enters in one’s heart. It is Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu ‚alayhi wa-sallam) who says that. Vehim (misgiving) enters in one’s heart, and what happens then? In the beginning weakness will occur the person can no longer protect the religion of the Ummah of Muhammad. When he can’t protect his religion, the enemy will descend upon him. There are spiritual enemies, and there are physical enemies. The spiritual enemies are within the person they are your self and the iblīs (devil). And with the basic intellect entering into the iblīs’ (devil) service the nafs (self), the iblīs’ (devil) and the basic intellect will form a hypothetical advisory council.

Time Stamp: 20:11

Now, when a fatwā (religious decree) is given by that council the Shaykh al-Islām of the person who issues fatāwā (religious decrees) becomes himself, and his iblīs’ (devil). What enters into their service is his basic intellect. At first, one’s heart will be occupied by worldly love. Then, the enemy will invade or siege the ummah (the nation). Yet, as long as the tawhid īmān (monotheistic faith) along with a unity of īmān (belief) and ‚ilm (knowledge) merges in the heart and Islam is practiced, the haqq (the truth) will prevail and the bātil (the wrong) will be defeated. The truth will be triumphant perpetually; that is muqaddar (destiny). The bātil (the wrong) will always be defeated; that is also muqaddar (destiny). However, who will become triumphant if the followers of the haqq (the truth) don’t protect it? In that event, the bātil (the wrong) will be triumphant. So, who will leave the field to the wrong (batil) things. Those who leave the field to the wrong (batil) beliefs will achieve success only when the subjects of the haqq (truth) leave their duties. If the bātil (the wrong) becomes triumphant, the world will be in agony. That is a nightmarish agony that descends upon the humanity. For that reason, the serenity of the humanity, their true life-giver and Allah’s true order is Islam. Islam must dominate the souls, hearts, minds, and brains. Then ‚ilm (knowledge) and īmān (faith) will take their place in your advisory council. The Qur’an has to be there, the experts of īmān (belief) and ‚ilm (knowledge) has to be there in the advisory council that resides deep inside the hearts and souls, thus good results will be achieved. The doors of ijtihad (independent reasoning) are open until the qiyāmah (judgement day). You must recognize the haqq (the truth) and perform ijtihad in the direction of the haqq (the truth). That is why this has to be left to the experts of the subject. Those who perform ijtihad in the world. Some of them take inspiration (or satanic whispers, waswasa) from their selves, and their ideologies while the other take inspiration from the truth, and the true knowledge. The source for true ‚ilm, and true knowledge is divine revelation, in other words, Al-Qur’an Al-Karim. Almighty Allah had introduced Islam to the world by incorporating all values of the past and the future and embodying them in the person of Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu ‚alayhi wa-sallam). Islam is entirely of the manifestation of Allah’s blessing in the realm of humanity. Living without Islam means closing your eyes to Allah’s blessing and escaping from the rahmat (blessing). Eating and drinking from Allah’s sustenance, living in Allah’s property and saying you do not recognize Islam means you don’t recognize the laws of Allah. It is like saying, “I don’t recognize any of the prophets.” It is like saying, “I don’t recognize any of the books.” For all books are incorporated in Al-Quran Al-Karim. The just cause, which has been conveyed by all prophets are in Al-Quran Al-Karim. In the earth, only Islam has descended as a religion and it was introduced by Allah. Thus, all of the prophets are the prophets of Islam. They are like a chain of prophets, and the last link is Prophet Muhammad (saw), who is the final prophet.

Time Stamp: 25:00

No other prophets will come after him and no other books will be sent after Al-Quran Al-Karim. For all these seas and rivers (of lore) is in the sharīʿah (canonical law) of Islam. The past sharīʿah (canonical laws) of Islam are within Islam. Age-proof and perpetual innovations and reforms rest within the contents of the Qur’an and Islam. The sharīʿah (canonical law) that is introduced by Prophet Muhammad (saw) has renewed all that is old. Islam is the most up to date of all that is new. Islam is ages ahead of our time. Prophet Muhammad (saw) became the last prophet of Islam that was introduced by Janâb-i Haqq, as a new, and final order. The rasul’s (messengers) came with their own sharīʿah (canonical laws) in the past. Then the nábis (prophets) came to support the rasuls and implement the canonical laws they have brought. For that reason, at first one must know what haqq (the truth) is and what bātil (the wrong), which is contrary of haqq is without determining and diagnosing what these are the mankind will neither find benefit nor salvation. The humanity should have known who is the savior by now. That is why Islam calls the humanity to the haqq (the truth). The treasure filled with modern sciences and ideas in the glorious Qur’an. The Qur’an is the immortality itself, until the qiyāmah (judgement day). The true unpaired lifestyle, is the lifestyle that is introduced by Islam. For those who don’t accept this divine lifestyle, and look for other lives. They are implementing the recipe for advancement in reverse. The lives of those who don’t use this recipe will be in vegetative state. Or rather, those who choose a lifestyle outside they will be living like animals or living as if they are in a vegetative state. Moreover, there is something even worse than that which will drop you even lower, which is lowering in rank. And that is lowering the rank of a person. Islam is a glorious and honorable lifestyle that was introduced for rising the people to Allah Ta’ala Allah’s consent, and to Illiyin (the highest place in jannah) for it is the lifestyle introduced by Allah (c.c.). That is the lifestyle that Allah introduced us. This is a lifestyle that enhances the fitrat (innate nature) that Allah created with Islam. Janâb-i Haqq created the fitrat, or the innate nature of the people and especially the entire universe perfectly. However, Allah created all realms for people. Allah created the humans with a true innate nature .and tied the ascend of that innate nature to the lifestyle of Islam. So, if you invert the recipe before using it if you use the recipe that will drop you lower rather than using the recipe of the Rabb (Lord) which will ascend you then you’ll be doing a favor neither to yourself nor to humanity. The sound of endless life is resonating in the universe the haqq (the truth) is calling us yet the people try to escape all the time, yet in the end they surrender. Now, some people say, “I won’t implement the lifestyle of Islam. Who are they? Those who don’t utter it properly, but live a lifestyle contrary to Islam are saying this either with a state of kâlî or a state of hâli. I mean, they show it via their lifestyles.

Time Stamp: 30:00

So, what will happen then? Is there anyone who managed to escape Azrâil ‚alaihissalâm’s order? No, there isn’t. Is it Allah who created this life? Yes, it is Allah. Is it Allah who created death? Yes, it is. Is there anyone who can escape Azrâil ‚alaihissalâm’s order? No, there isn’t. You see, you say that you don’t want to implement the lifestyle of Islam but Allah says that He doesn’t accept any other religion other than Islam. Therefore, if you knowingly use the wrong recipe for your fitrat (innate nature) that which Allah created if you don’t listen to Allah, if you don’t listen to the Qur’an if you don’t listen to Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (saw) if you don’t listen to the ālim mujtahids (Islamic scholars) who have comprehended this case well and if you go for what you think you know .then tomorrow Azrâil ‚alaihissalâm will certainly siege with his armies. And he will certainly carry you into the presence of Allah. So, with whose belief system and laws will you come into the presence of Allah? Considering Allah doesn’t accept other religions and belief systems other Islam with which belief system and system will you come into the presence of Allah? Azrâil ‚alaihissalâm will carry you into the presence of Allah regardless of your approval. Death is muqaddar (destiny). Come brother, come to your senses! If you believe, and if you choose Islam as your lifestyle and if you implement it into your life then the salvation and the joy of this will be yours. If you burn in hell, that will make me sad but I’ll not be able to do anything. Right now, I am doing what I am able to do. I am saying: Islam is the haqq (the truth). Islam is the reality, and it is the only religion. Islam is the order Allah created. Listen to the laws of Allah, and implement them and live the lifestyle of Islam. The greatest and best favor I can do for you is conveying the haqq (the truth) to you. For Allah created people and gave them free-will. Each and every person is given willpower. The power of will belongs to us. However, the greater will belongs to Allah. The wills of people are like stars around the greater will. If the wills of people connect themselves to the greater will then they will be honored by Allah’s everlasting blessing, favor, and generosity. That is what we wish for. Come, and don’t be struck with the justice of Allah while you can be rewarded by Allah’s infinite blessing, grace and generosity. For his justice is robust. For the price of kufr (disbelief) is, on all accounts, hell. The price for shirk (polytheism), nifaq (hypocrisy), cruelty being a fāsiq (venial sinner), being a faajir (sinner by action) is on all accounts, hell. That is how the divine justice is manifested. Allah does not return from Allah’s promise. Allah conveys Allah’s promises, the religion and the laws in Al-Qur’an Al-Karim, from start to finish. Allah does not break any promise. Allah will bestow favor and generosity to those who believe. Allah will grant infinite bounties to them, while implementing Allah’s justice to those who are in disbelief (kufr). Allah is free and away from cruelty. For that reason, come brother. The sounds of eternal life is resonating through the universe that sound is the sound of the Qur’an, Muhammad, and the haqq (the truth). I mean, simply it is the sound of Islam. It’s laws and rules are the sharīʿah (canonical laws). The truth is calling you. Yet the people try to escape all the time only to get captured by the armies Azrâil ‚alaihissalâm.

Time Stamp: 35:02

The armies of the world will surrender to the armies of Azrâil. The generals of the world will surrender to the armies of Azrâil. The kings and rulers will surrender to the armies of Azrâil. Those rulers, generals, statesmen, and bureaucrats, those rich tycoons and those who cheat the poor people of their rights and those who are poor but deviate along with those who are rich but go astray all of them will be brought into the grand court. To the grand court, which is in the presence of Allah. Come brother! If you believe that this universe is created out of nothing if you believe that the order and regularity of this universe is built by Allah if you believe that Allah created man perfectly… Janâb-i Haqq says that Allah has created the earth and the heavens for mankind. Janâb-i Haqq says that Allah has created man so that they would know Allah enter into Allah’s service, and be a servant to Allah. Come to your line of duty. Your duty is to know Allah, enter into Allah’s service and obey Allah, but not revolt against Allah. The need for understanding Al-Quran Al-Karim is mandatory. You need to understand the contents of Al-Quran Al-Karim in order to understand the truths. For that reason, the entire world should understand Al-Quran Al-Karim and they should listen to those who know it and understand it. Those who know and understand it should convey this message to the world. If they don’t, then they are committing the greatest evil against mankind. The greatest favor is using all of your power and resources in the way of conveying the voice of the haqq (the truth) to the people. The greatest favor is to be able to convey the truth that the Rabb (Lord) introduced. Haven’t hundreds of thousands of martyrs shed blood so that Al-Qur’an Al-Karim could prevail? They became martyrs for the good of mankind and also, haven’t hundreds and thousands of ālims (Islamic scholars) shed tears? The world has two classes of people who are the most beneficial they are the martyrs and the ālims (Islamic scholars). The ālims (Islamic scholars) have conquered the hearts and the spiritual realms of people through their ‚ilm (knowledge). The ālims have shed so many tears by devoting all their lives for the salvation of mankind from shirk (polytheism), kufr (disbelief), nifaq (hypocrisy), cruelty fāsiq (venial sinner) and fājir (sinner by action) intentions. And the martyrs have stood against all those who attack the haqq (the truth), who seek to destroy it. The martyrs have stood against those tyrants and despots who rob the orphans of their own rights, the enemies of the social justice all those tyrants. Our martyrs have endeavored to open the way to real freedom and the guarantor of the true freedom is Allah Ta’ala. The order of freedom is Islam itself. There is one order that is free from a to izzard, it is Islam. For Islam is the way to freedom. Janâb-i Haqq is the guarantor of this way to freedom. You should become subjected to Allah, then you’ll live freely in all realms. This is the condition of being free. Being subjected to Allah but being completely independent and free from anyone else. Do you think that you’ll be free without knowing Allah who is the guarantor of freedom who is the owner of all life, who is the life-giver?

Time Stamp: 40:00

For that reason, the mankind owes a lot to our martyrs and ālims (Islamic scholar). Al-Quran Al-Karim unquestioningly is the book of Allah, as you know. However, the contents are not the words of a prophet, angel, man, nor jinn. Al-Quran Al-Karim is kalamullah, it is the speech of Allah, for it is Allah’s book. For that reason, venerable friends! The surahs and ayahs (verses) in Al-Quran Al-Karim have descended in order to find the greatest civilization in the world. Al-Quran Al-Karim stayed original as the day it was revealed it has been protected, and it will be protected eternally. The Quran is the last book therefore what happened to the Bible and the Torah will not happen to Al-Quran Al-Karim. But why? Because, it is the last book. It incorporates the Bible, the Torah, and the Psalm. The Qur’an wiped the verdicts of those book regarding the past times and places and incorporated their valid verdicts into its structure. Al-Quran Al-Karim is the mū’min (believer) and muhaymin (guardian) of all past books and prophets. The Quran took them under its protection so no one can slander Īsā (Jesus) or Mūsā (Moses). The religion of Īsā (Jesus) and Mūsā (Moses) is Islam. The religion of Abraham, and the religion of Nūh (Noah) is also Islam. The religion of Dawud (David), Sulaiman (Solomon) Zakariya (Zachariah) have always been Islam. The religion always came as one, for Allah is one. Janâb-i Haqq have sent nabīs (prophets) and rasūls (messengers) when the need has arisen in a certain time or place. Adam is a prophet as well; he is the first man he was sent down from the heaven onto the earth. Adam is a Muslim, and a Prophet. Idris, Nūh (Noah), Seth, Salih these are the prophets of Islam one after the other they are assigned to serve in the religion of Islam. The only religion is Islam which started with Adam continued with the other prophets and reached its peak point with Prophet Muhammad (saw). Islam will continue to be until the qiyāmah (judgement day) thus Al-Quran Al-Karim is the last book of Islam which revealed to Muhammad with innovative and brand-new laws. There are those who acknowledge this those who don’t would be doing a favor to themselves if they acknowledge as well. If they don’t wish to acknowledge, then o woe to them. For Al-Quran Al-Karim is such an original order it was revealed with such an exalted meaning and is such a miracle that it has encompassed all ages, nations, and states. It incorporated all nations, all ages all values, and much more into its structure. For that reason, the religion and the sharīʿah (canonical law) of all ages is Islam. The sharīʿah (canonical law) of all nations, and their religion is Islam. It has to be Islam. Allah is One, it is Allah who established this order. It is Allah (c.c.) who gave this role to Prophet Muhammad. The greatest universal prophet is Prophet Muhammad (saw) who was sent as a rahmat (blessing) upon the realms. Thus and so, he is the final prophet. Whether the nations of the world believe or not they are of The Ummah (Nation) of Muhammad.

Time Stamp: 45:01

Those who believe will see the rewards of their belief and those who don’t will get the rewards of their disbelief. The reward will be in favor of some, and to the detriment of the others. You see, Al-Quran Al-Karim was weaved by Allah (c.c.) it is composed and put together by Allah (c.c.). Al-Quran Al-Karim is the work of Allah. For that reason, it is the greatest unprecedented miracle. Each word, and each sentence, and each ayah (verse) and each surah of it is a great miracle. For they are the kalam (speech) of Allah. For the speech of Allah has not been disrupted, nor it will ever be disrupted. The contents of it has been polished to be a mirror to one another. The ayahs (verses) are mirrors to one another they shine through the hearts, through the utterances through this ‚alam al-afaq (the physical realm) and in through this ‚alam al-anfus (the spiritual realm). It is only the disbelievers who are missing this out, they are ruining themselves. In terms of events Al-Quran Al-Karim is like it is just send down today. It responds to all ages with brand-new replies for it incorporates all ages in its structure. The ages of time are like the flowers that blossom inside Al-Quran Al-Karim. Each age is like a new page in the book. The ages of time are tightly rolled up inside Al-Qur’an Al-Karim. You see, Al-Quran Al-Karim came as a book of literature in order to respond to the needs of all ages of time. And thus it became the final book. For it is the book of all ages. It is the divine speech; it is the speech of Allah. This is because it has never been disrupted and will never be disrupted; for it is the speech of Allah. Al-Quran Al-Karim consists of ayahs (verses) and surahs. So, what does surah mean? The dictionary says that it means: “High rank, the walls that surround a city, or a high civilization. The surahs are certain sections of Al-Quran Al-Karim that incorporates at least three ayahs (verses). The word “surah” also means higher-civilization. Therefore, if you wish to establish a unique civilization in the world then be sure to establish the civilization of Quran in the world. In that event, the world will become a heaven and the lifestyle that Allah chose will be lived by all people. The surahs are similar to planets. The ayahs (verses) are similar to the stars. The heavens and the earth take their luminousness from the splendorous lights of Al-Quran Al-Karim. The true civilization for heavens and the earth can only be established via Al-Quran Al-Karim. Do not forget this! The surahs are like the planets. If you take a glance, you’ll see that they are similar to the planets. The ayahs (verses) are like stars. The illumination of the earth and the heavens comes with Al-Quran Al-Karim. The civilization within the earth, and over the heavens can only be founded with Al-Quran Al-Karim. Those who demonize the Islamic order, Islamic laws and the Islamic sharīʿah (canonical law) of Islam are those who seek to exploit the world. They are completely unaware of social justice, and true freedom. Ayah (verse); is the name for the sections of the Quran each statement is called as an ayah (verse). . Al-Quran Al-Karim is divided by its letters these are called as, “fāsila (the end of a verse)”. The ayahs (verses) consist of one or a few sentences. The separation of the verses are subject to the implementation of our Prophet. These are not tied to knowledge and comprehension of ours these are tied to reports and narrations.

Time Stamp: 50:02

I mean, these are divine matters. The prophet understands and explains Al-Quran Al-Karim. The sahabah have protected the divine command that the prophet understood and the mujtahids (muslim scholars) have kept it safe up to this day. The way of Ahl-e Sunnat wa’l-Jamaat became established and took root. Moreover, the understanding of true Islam has been protected from ahlul bid’ah (evil innovators) and heresy. The peak of a clear sign is called as an ayah (sign) you can think of a mosque as a miracle, and the minaret can be the verse (sign) because you can see it from afar. For example, the sun is called as the ayah (sign) of the day and the moon is called the ayah (sign) of the night thus miracles are called as ayah (signs). The signs that are clear and open are called as ayah. Al-Quran Al-Karim is an unprecedented miracle and its ayahs (verses) and surahs are also miracles for they are of divine speech. Al-Quran Al-Karim was put together in the time of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and in the time of Prophet Uthman it was duplicated. The new copies were sent to capital cities such as Mecca Madīnah, Yemen, Bahrain, Damascus, Kufa, and Basra. And they kept the original book, and called as it, “imam”. As for tafsīr (interpretation) and tawil (allegorical interpretation) the word tafsīr derives from the root “fesir” and it is of the measure of “tef’il”. It means, to discover and thoroughly reveal something and to interpret the hidden and covered word. They investigate the hidden meanings under four sections. Hafi (hidden, covered), müşkil (hard to understand) mücmel (can’t clearly understand what is intended), and mutashabihat (ambiguous). The Law-Maker explains what is mücmel in other words, explanation of Al-Quran Al-Karim is only made by Allah. Allah has explained it. And then our Prophet has conveyed this explanation. And this understanding is conveyed to the sahabah (companions) and then to the Tābi’ūn, and then established in ahlus sunnah. Thus, the explanations of Allah came to this day by being protected by the way of ahlus sunnah. Therefore, the mücmel is explained by the Law-Maker. This is also tied to a narration and the narration must be linked to our Prophet and the sahabah (companions). In other words, Allah and the Messenger explains that is what we call tafsīr (interpretation). To begin with, tafsīr (interpretation) in terms of fiqh (jurisprudence) and law is introduced like that. Both fiqh (jurisprudence) and law came to this day through protecting what Allah (c.c.) revealed and what the rasul (messenger) conveyed. The importance of ahlus sunnah is this. Ahlus sunnah conveys the articulation, meaning, provisions and the subsidiary details of Al-Quran Al-Karim. Ahlu sunnah also covers literary aspects such as tawjeed (rules for the correct pronunciation) grammar, nahil, meani (pl. of meaning) and beyan (expressing expressions that are different). It covers many other sciences as well. The fact that Al-Quran Al-Karim’s text is Arabic proves the importance of the verses. The names such as Al-Dhikr, and Al-kitab Al-Mubeen are names related with both esoteric (meaning) and the exoteric (the literal text) aspects. Moreover, names such as Furqan (criterion), Huda (guidance) An-Nūr (the light), and Ruh (spirit) are considered in terms of their esoteric (meaning) aspects not by their exoteric (the literal text) aspects. For that reason, there is an esoteric aspect of Al-Quran Al-Karim and there is an exoteric aspect. The esoteric (meaning) aspect requires a divine description beyond the exoteric (the literal text) aspect.

Time Stamp: 55:04

For that reason it is clear that knowing Arabic is not enough for Muslims and ālims (muslim scholars) because words such as Furqan (criterion) Huda (guidance), An-Nūr (the light) and Ruh (spirit) are deeply intertwined in esoteric (meaning) aspect thus Arabic is not enough to interpret them they will only be revealed through Allah’s and the Messenger’s definitions. The word tawil (allegorical interpretation) comes from the root, “Awl” which means, “tool, device”. It is the interpretation of wisdom, which prefers one of the possible meanings. The nass (canonical texts) are interpreted through their apparent meanings. And tawil (allegorical interpretation) is a science for criterion for distinguish between true and false. Moreover, tafsīr and tawil are synonyms. Tafsīr’s basics are these: An ayah (verse) can be interpreted via another ayah (verse). An ayah (verse) can be interpreted via al-Hadith al-Sharif. Likewise, an ayah (verse) can be interpreted through the descriptions of the sahabah (companions), and the Tābi’ūn. In addition, it can also be interpreted through Arabic and sharʿī sciences. However, one must have capability and competency in sciences in order to suggest a tafsīr (interpretation) for Al-Quran Al-Karim’s sciences. One must know about the exoteric (the literal text) as well as the narrations (hadiths, reports etc.). May Janâb-i Haqq help us understand the Quran and the Ummah of Muhammad. A’uzhu billahi minash shaitanir rajim. Bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm. “Alhamdulillahi rabbil ‘alamin. Wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma-‘iyn.” We’re about to start our third lesson. May Janâb-i Haqq treat the Nation of Muhammad and the entire realm of mankind with Allah’s blessing, and generosity. We’re humbly asking from Janâb-i Haqq to grant the hidayat (guidance) of Islam to all. Let’s start our lesson by conveying some words of Prophet Muhammad (saw) regarding the fazilat (superiority) of Al-Quran Al-Karim. We can’t finish the subject of the fazilat (superiority) of Al-Quran Al-Karim by talking it is like a sea of fazilat. For Allah’s (c.c.) rahmat (blessing) is manifested to the worlds via Qur’an, and Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad (asw) said: “Certainly, in the days to come conflicts will arise like the shrapnels of night. The salvation lies within Al-Quran Al-Karim. In the Quran, there are news from your predecessors and successors there are provisions regarding you. The Quran distinguishes between the truth and the lies for it is a divine word. Those who abandon it will be struck by Allah and they will fall into deviation. For the Quran is the steady rope and the glaring light of Allah (c.c.) it is a book filled to brim with wisdom. The Qur’an is the seerat al-mustaqim (straight path). It won’t deviate the selves won’t disrupt visions the ālims (muslim scholars) can’t be saturated with it the muttaqi (pious) won’t get tired of it. Those who know its sciences will make progress those who abide by it will obtain thawāb (reward). Those who rule by Allah’s commands will implement justice. Those who comply with it firmly will find the way to the true path. Those who seek the ‚ilm (knowledge) of the past and the future should study Al-Quran Al-Karim in depth and understand its contents.

Time Stamp: 1:00:10

One will receive at least ten thawāb (reward) for each letter. Al-Quran Al-Karim is the preeminent those who seek higher things will be diminishing what Allah kept high. The greatest intercessor is Al-Quran Al-Karim. In Hereafter Al-Quran Al-Karim will intercede for those who believe in it those who seek it, and those who act upon it. The greatest intercessor is it neither a prophet nor an angel can surpass it when it comes to intercession. Those who believe in it, and carry Al-Quran Al-Karim in their hearts by having a grasp of its knowledge, are those who attain the greatest rank. They are the ones who attain great ranks. A house without a copy of the Quran is worthless. Those who are halfhearted while reading it will receive only two thawāb (reward). Those who read it wholeheartedly are with the honorable envoy angels. The places in which Al-Quan Al-Karim is recited will shine and angels descend down there. Our beloved Prophet (salla Allahu ‚alayhi wa-sallam) .while performing the farewell sermon he said, „embrace Al-Quran Al-Karim“; in his last will. Who recites the Quran best? When asked, our beloved Prophet (salla Allahu ‚alayhi wa-sallam) said: “It is whosoever believes that he fears Allah (c.c.) while reciting it.” In his words, he pointed towards the importance of īmān (belief) ikhlas (sincerity) and obeying to Allah (c.c.). This also reveals that those who recite the Qur’an like a parrot without believing and abiding by it do not get their share of the knowledge inside it. “We did not send down to you the Qur’an that you should be miserable but only as an admonition to him who fears [his Rabb]. That is what Allah said in the 2nd and the 3rd verses of the Surah Ta Ha. Venerable friends! The first surah of Al-Quran Al-Karim is Al-Fatihah. The meaning of it is, “The Opening [to the Qur’an and the straight way to Allah.” It was sent down to Prophet Muhammad’s heart from under the ninth heaven, from a treasure. Al-Fatihah is a Makkī surah (revealed in Mecca). For that reason, it is referred to as the mother of Al-Quran Al-Karim. Its names are, Fatiḥat al-kitab (the opener of the Book), Surat al-Hamd Surat al-Hamd, Surat-ul-dua, Saba-ul-Masani Surat-ul-shukra, Um-ul-quran, Um-ul-kitab Surat-ul-wafiyah, Surat-ul-kanz (treasure), Surah-ul-Kāfiyah Ash-Shukr, Ash-Shifā. It is a cure for physiological disorders. For Al-Quran Al-Karim is a downright cure for the believers. And the matter of instruction. This surah of Al-Quran Al-Karim is also the surah that teaches the believers to how wish from Allah and what to wish from Allah. The condition of asking something is knowing and acknowledging the haqq (truth). You must know the haqq (truth). You must acknowledge and recognize your haqq (truth). You see, one needs ‚ilm (knowledge) and good deeds, and he has to feel the need. Now, the conditions for asking something from the Rabb (Lord) starts with acknowledging the Rabb (Lord) doing good deeds, and feeling the need.

Time Stamp: 1:05:02

You should also adopt a certain manner like praising and honoring Allah. You should praise the Rabb (Lord) by speaking to Allah about Allah’s grandness, and almightiness. The manner of asking from the Rabb (Lord) continues as such the must is knowing and acknowledging the Rabb (Lord) doing good deeds, and feeling the need. One must know that he is eternally in need of Allah (c.c.). And Allah is the sole owner of being praised. All praise and glory is exclusive to Allah (c.c.). If so, then you will praise Allah by presenting what Allah is to Allah. You should also be sure about what to wish for the way to bounties start with Basmala al-Sharif, Fatihah al-Sharif Kalimat al-Tawhid, and the first five ayahs (verses) of Surah Al-Alaq which starts with the word, “read”. The 3rd and 4th verses of Surah Al-Alaq is about reading and writing with the pen. If you listen closely, just have a look at the first revelations: Basmala al-Sharif, Fatihah al-Sharif, Kalimat al-Tawhid and the first five ayahs (verses) of Surah Al-Alaq  which includes the part about reading and writing with the pen. It says, these are the first verses that were sent down. Islam is an unprecedented faculty of the world whose lessons are sent down from the ninth heaven to the earth. I mean, it is a divine faculty. Those who study here are the students of this divine faculty. And this studentship lasts until the grave. Imān (belief) and obedience to Allah, and worship is until the grave. There are seven verses in the Fatihah its sections are definite in its contents. These are also important matters, which must be heard from the Prophet. These matters can’t be designated with our minds for one can’t subtract a single letter from the Quran or add a single letter to it. In Allah’s speech, there is a special mixture of exoteric and esoteric along with a special praise!” Now, listen closely. “In Allah’s words, there is a special mixture of exoteric and esoteric along with a praise!” The Quan is laconical, heavenly, supermundane and it is even superior then the universe. It is supermundane, therefore in its presence humans and the djinn are helpless. In the presence of Qur’an the realms of man and the djinn are helpless along with all creation. Though they may have the same meaning the translations are not counted as the Quran you can’t recite translations while performing namāz (prayer). You must recite the original Al-Quran Al-Karim while performing namāz (prayer). For a word in Al-Quran Al-Karim has lots of meanings. For that reason, when you translate it you may not be able to transfer the meaning of that word thoroughly. Thus and so the translations you will recite are not counted as Quran as long as you don’t recite the original. The translations have no chance of matching the true meaning of Quran. Therefore one must recite Al-Quran Al-Karim’s original text  while performing namāz (prayer). For reciting the original text of Al-Quran Al-Karim is finding and understanding your self (nafs). Everyone should make an effort to understand Al-Quran Al-Karim like ālims (muslim scholars) understood it they should ask what they don’t know to those who know. It is a fard (obligation) to ask what you don’t know (regarding religion) to those who know, this is an obligation.

Time Stamp: 1:10:04

Knowing his or her religion is a fard (obligation) to both male and female believers; and knowing the fundamentals of the religion. For that reason, the actual meaning of the word “ب ba” in the basmala means, “to glue”. The “ger” preposition has meanings such as “to mix, to glue, to wish for assistance and solidarity to consolidate, and to swear. The mufassirs point towards solidarity and wishing for assistance. The word, “اسم ism” in the basmala means sublimity and it is derived from the word, “السمو es-Sumuv”. It also means, ‚to seal‘. Thus, what is explained in the basmala is that the greatest honour, sublimity infinite grandness, and infinite power belongs to Allah. The basmala means asking for assistance from Allah’s blessing. So it means seeking refuge in Allah. It means, being together with Allah’s rahmat (blessing) and assistance. These are understood from the interpretation of the basmala. Causality is the law of all ‚ilms (sciences). Give it some thought. For one thing, the basmala is, „seeking refuge in Allah the Almighty“. The servant’s hope for refuge in his Rabb (Lord). The basmala is, „hoping and asking for assistance from the rahmat (blessing) of Allah“. It is a wish for, „achieving solidarity through his assistance and rahmat (blessing)“. For that reason you should feel this meaning in the depths of your heart while reciting the basmala next time. The connection and proportion of the causative and the cause is permanent. The existence works based on the principles of reality. The existence works based on the principles of reality. These manifestation of Allah’s person (zat), attributes, and works. Moreover, the manifestation of Allah’s names are within those as well. From Allah’s name, you can reach to Allah’s actions and works from Allah’s works you can reach to the attributes through Allah’s attributes you can reach to Allah’s person (zat). Thus, you can attain Allah’s consent. Al-Quran Al-Karim introduces Almighty Allah through the manifestations of Allah’s name it says, “Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim,” which is manifestation of three names these are, Allah, Rahman and Rahim (c.c.). Allah’s name manifests itself in the depths of the hearts which is a secret that dates back to our creation. Allah’s names are revealed by Allah. They are conveyed via wahiy (revelation). Primarily, one must know that the names that haven’t been conveyed through wahiy (revelation) can’t be names. Also, such names can’t be accepted when they contradict with the glory of Allah. Allah’s names in the Quran are the names our Prophet has conveyed. In other words, Allah’s known and factual names are the ones that are introduced through the religion of Islam. You should look into Allah’s works, for example, the universe. Through the manifestations of Allah’s attributes we’ll struggle for the manifestations of Allah’s person (zat). The winds of ultimate union will blow and salutations to nafs al-muṭmaʾinnah (serene self) will come. „yā-ʾayyatuhā n-nafsu l-muṭmaʾinna“ ”İrjiʿī ʾilā rabbiki rāḍiyatan marḍiyyatan fa-dkhulī fī ʿibādī, wa-dkhulī jannatī. “O Soul at peace!

Time Stamp: 1:15:03

Return to your Rabb (Lord), well-pleased and pleasing [to Allah]. And enter among My [righteous] servants and enter My Paradise,” says the Rabb (Lord). In the 28-30th verses of the Surah al-Fajr. Let’s surrender to our Rabb (Lord). Let us know Islam well and embrace Allah by following Allah’s rules via Islam and Quran. By obeying Allah, one will achieve the consent of Allah and reach to the ultimate union. Nonetheless, tawhid (monotheism) has to be foremost; that is a must. Allah (c.c.) is wajib al-wūjūd (necessary existent). Allah congregates all perfect attributes. Allah’s attributes are within the veil of eternity, just like their owner. You see, the veil here is the veil of kibriyā (grandeur). One must acknowledge Allah’s infinite might and power and admire Allah for Allah is unique grand, infinite, and almighty. Allah is immense and without boundaries. Almightiness, and grandeur lies with Allah. The name of Allah is a special name it didn’t derive from another word. Kalimat al- Tawheed (Word of Divine Unity), or the name of Allah can’t be translated into another language because the equivalent of the word, “Allah,” does not reside in the languages in the world. Its equivalent is not in the languages of the world. The word, “lah” means “god” in Arabic. In Turkish, the closest word is “mabut” or “ilah” which means “deity, divinity, god”. In Syriac, the word “laha” is used which means “god”. The jewish and the Nazarene use these. In Hebrew, they use the word, “Gıll” in the meaning of Allah but its meaning is not equal. The French use the word “dieu” for “male divinity”. They believe in the incarnation of Īsā (Jesus) which is not what Īsā (Jesus) himself believed. This is not the tawhid (monotheism) belief in the Bible or in the Torah these people have deviated from the true faith, and got stuck in shirk (polytheism). The word, “Gott” means “god” in German,” and there is the English version but none of these are the equivalent of the name of Allah. For that reason: There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is Allah’s messenger. The aforesaid prayer is the true core of īmān (belief). Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam is hidden in those words. The īmān (belief) of all prophets are hidden in those words. The tawhid (monotheism) belief that is brought by the holy writs are there. Nevertheless, no one has the right to misguide or deceive the mankind. No one can say Allah is two, or three; for Allah is One. “Ar-Rahman” is an attribute of Allah (c.c.) it is a personal (zati) attribute. It is a sifat-al galiba, which means “a superior attribute”. It is a unique name that is used only for Allah. It means, affluent in rahmat (blessing) and grace. It means rahmat (blessing) is limitless, has no boundaries. Ar-Rahman (The Most Gracious) is one of the names of Allah. It is al-sifāt al-musabbeh, thus it is exclusive for Allah. Allah always wishes what is good, and gives endless bounties that is an eternal rahmat (blessing), which is universal. In other words, the rahmat (blessing) of Ar-Rahman (The Most Gracious) is universal. The entire creation is a work of this rahmat (blessing). One can’t think of a creature that lacks a trace of rahmat (blessing). Absolute hope is an eternal favor. Don’t forget this. Absolute hope is an eternal favor.

Time Stamp: 1:20:04

For that reason, when you hear the name of Rahmet al-Rahmān when you hear the name of Allah the Most Merciful know that this universe is created with the manifestation of that name. The lexical meaning of the name Ar-Rahim (c.c.) means rahmat (blessing and beneficence) is continuous denotes the idea of constant repetition. Allah is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. This is an attribute of Allah, not a proper name, denotes action. “Allah, ar-Rahman and ar-Rahim,” these are the first manifestations of seeing the beauty of Allah (c.c.). Just stop for one moment, and look into these names, look into the creation. The ar-Rahman is a key to eternity, and ar-Rahim is a key to immortality. Because, “wa-kāna bi-l-muʾminīna raḥīma,” this is from the 43rd ayah (verse) of Surah al-Ahzab. It can be translated as, “and Allah is most merciful to the faithful.” May Allah bestow forgiveness upon the believers! Therefore, attaining the bounty and the reward in the end of accomplishing the test by working is due to rahimiyyah (compassion) thus you can see the manifestation of the Rahmat-i Rahim. Now, listen closely! Attaining the bounty and the reward in the end of accomplishing the test by working means attaining the privilege of Rahmat-i Rahim’s manifestation. It means being safe and away from all evil. Thus, you should recite the auzu basmala by seeking refuge from all evil. In order to feel the force that contains everything, recite the basmala. For the endless power and infinite ability of Allah is in it. They belong to the Allah who you seek refuge in, addressing Allah as Rahmat-i Rahim. All power derives from Allah, all ability resides within Allah. You should recite the true basmala in order to experience the perpetual force that holds everything together. You should recite the Quran, and believe in your Rabb (Lord) wholeheartedly and truly submit yourself to your Rabb (Lord). The naturists have divinized the nature; they really are destitute. Allah has established the order in the nature. The nature is ordonnance of Allah. The nature is under the command of Allah. It is created in proportion and measure. The nature is of creation. However, the naturists have divinized the nature hence they worship the nature. It does not matter whether they are aware of their actions, they are truly destitute. Al-Quran Al-Karim is of particular concern to all sciences and arts in terms of exoteric and esoteric, order and layout. You’ll find all sciences in the Quran. You’ll find their source, and their core. The word, “nahl’ ” has a lexical meaning of rhetoric. The word, “fasahat” means fluency and pellucidity. The matter of beyân has a style similar to rhetoric, due to its flow meaning, concept, content, requisition, expression, agency requirement, openness and closedness, essence .perceptibility, insinuation, adumbration, implication, logic philosophy, and mysticism. That is a way of using the language, so are you hoping something? The intention here is that these are similar to the science of beyân. These intentions concern the science of beyân. The word fasahat means pellucidity and elocution.

Words fill into the hearts in a sweet, fluent, smooth and measured, astounding, easy to understand versatile, artful, coherent manner. The manner of the words are balanced the speaker is a master in the language conveys in a laconic manner, contains much meanings. It is not an imitation. It contains wondrous beauties, aesthetic, and delicacy. These are all concerns of the science of fasahat (pellucidity). The soul of tafsir (exegesis) wends its way to the eternity in perfect harmony and accord in terms of mind, logic, pleasure, and intuition. You see, we should aspire after drinking profusely from the ocean of meaning we should drink from its life-giving waters. For the common people, the text must denote the meaning this is important for them. However, the ālims (muslim scholars) look into the logical and rational aspect of it. The litterateurs, and the aestheticians, and the aphorists look into the congruency to pleasure, intuition, fitrah (innate nature). You can’t find these features precisely in the translations. The word, ’sibak‘ is a figure of speech. Surah al-Fatihah is like an explanation of the rahmat (blessing) in the basmala. Now, listen closely. Surah al-Fatihah is like an explanation of the meanings in the basmala it is like an appreciation. The basmala consists of seven words the preposition, “ba” means contiguity or the close proximity and link between one thing and the other. However, in the past our existence our actions were hidden. There was Allah (c.c.), but we were not existent. When the basmala is recited, the contiguity formed and al-Fatiha as our acknowledgement of Allah (c.c.) gave way to our coming into existence. Rahman (The Most Gracious) and Rahim (The Most Merciful) is manifesting Himself thus introducing Himself to us. Allah wished to create us, and did create us. That is what Allah wished. Allah created the worlds for us. Allah established the heavens and the earth. Allah prepared the Janna (Paradise) for us. And if you ask, “where did the Jahannam (Hell) come from?” The answer to that would be this: The hell wouldn’t have been created had the mankind hadn’t act ungrateful to the Creator. Had they hadn’t got stuck into kufr (disbelief) shirk (polytheism), nifaq (hypocrisy) and cruelty and had the mankind hadn’t prepared their own hell the Hell wouldn’t have been created. Because, what Allah wished for was to make Allah known. Allah meant to overwhelm the servants with eternal bounties. However, the mankind didn’t acknowledge their Rabb (Lord) and became ungrateful, they resisted and in return, as a necessity out of justice, Jahannam (Hell) was created. The Janâb-i Haqq introduces Allah to us by saying, “ʾiyyāka naʿbudu – You [alone] do we worship,” we subject ourselves to Allah, and sign an eternal unfading, never-ending, social and lawful contract. Those who recite al-Fatihah should be mindful! When the eyes that are created have opened into all this rahmat (blessing) and when the mind acknowledges its Rabb (Lord) and find itself in an endless rahmat (blessing) we all said, “ʾiyyāka naʿbudu – You [alone] do we worship,”. The entire mankind said that one day. „a-lastu bi-rabbikum – Am I not your Lord?“ In the qālū balā (covenant), the entire mankind born or yet to be born have said: “Yes indeed! We bear witness.” You see with each recitation of al-Fatihah we say, “ʾiyyāka naʿbudu – You [alone] do we worship,” thus renewing the covenant.

We sign an eternal, unfading, never-ending social and lawful covenant by reciting al-Fatihah. “wa-ʾiyyāka nastaʿīn, – to You [alone] do we turn for help”. We say that voluntarily, by saying ‚ihdina (guide us) we recite the Fatihah. What do we say? We say ‚ihdina (guide us), which reveals our desires. Al-Fatihah teaches us what we should desire as well. We desire the Sirat al-Mustaqim (the straight path). We ask for inaam (gift, reward), and we ask for perfection. Münamün aleyhim we desire the path of those who attained rahmat (blessing), and perfection. We don’t wish the path of those who got struct by Allah’s wrath and those who have deviated. The phraseology of the words, or their purpose is to teach we can find a clue of this in the first revelation. The first ayah (verse) came down in the ikra (first revelation). The basmala is introduced by ikra (first revelation) and al-Fatihah is introduced by basmala and Al-Quran Al-Karim is introduced by al-Fatihah. The ikra (first revelation) means, “-to read”. One should read it himself, and have others read it too. In other words, what is referred by ikra is “reading the contents of Al-Quran Al-Karim, and having others read it too.” The meaning contains not only reading but both reading it, and having other people read it. The ‚ilm (knowledge) and īmān (belief) are being infused into us. We were hidden in the basmala for the eternity. We were not present before Allah physically but we were in the presence of Allah. Then, we appeared before Allah, with ‚ilm (knowledge) and īmān (belief). The servant, considers Allah (c.c.) as an overseer who is ready and who is overlooking both in the seen and the unseen realm. Allah (c.c.) is eternally ready, and overlooking. Right now, and also in the eternity, Allah watches over us all the time. For Allah is free from time and space. The servant submits the state he is in, and what he needs by saying, “ʾiyyāka nastaʿīn – You [alone] do we turn for help.” The method of teaching is the way of infusion and inculcation. One can see the laconic of the Quran here. Al-Fatihah is the explanation of Alhamdulillah. It is a unique kalām (utterance). The basmala is a crown, Al-Quran Al-Karim is a body, and al-Fatihah is a head. Alhamdulillah is the face, the blessing, the guidance and the pupils of the eyes. The world is the exterior, and the afterlife is the interior. Being a servant, is the language of asking for assistance whereas īmān (belief) is the soul. The face is the face of Prophet Muhammad (saw) the body is he manifestation of Allah with Allah’s wahiy (revelation). The body is the manifestation of Allah’s rahmat (blessing). Who conveys it is Prophet Muhammad. The soul of Al-Quran Al-Karim is read as people read and utter it. When a person recites kalima shadada (declaration of faith), the soul rears up. Kalima shadada (declaration of faith) is şuhūd-i milli (witnessing by the nation). In other words, each recitation of ashadu which means, “I bear witness that…”, is a witnessing. Thus, in the end the ashadus became nashadus which means, “We bear witness that…” Therefore, after Prophet Muhammad (saw) said the word “ashadu” the angels and the companions uttered as well thus the ashadu became nashadu. We started saying this collectively thus all singular expressions turned into collective expressions. In other words, the union of īmān (belief), the union of shahada the union of Islam banded together.

You see, al-Fatihah contains all of the eternal balances of life. Listen closely! All of the balances of life, that are everlasting reside in al-Fatihah al-Sharif. Surah al-Fatihah is the melting pot of all secrets. Surah al-Fatihah is the qanun kull (universal rule) that holds all secrets. It contains the fundamental principles; it placed the equation of assets on record. For that reason, invaluable friends! You should recite, and understand al-Fatihah al-Sharif. You should enter the seas of the Quran through that opening. The following segment is about hadith qudsi (sacred hadith). Janâb-i Haqq says Allah has divided Surah al-Fatihah into two pieces one for Allah’s servant and the other for Allah. Janâb-i Haqq says that Allah will grant what Allah’s servant wishes. Janâb-i Haqq says that when the servant recites until ‘māliki yawmi d-dīn which is the 4th verse of al-Fatihah the servant will have glorified, exalted, and praised Allah. Janâb-i Haqq says that when Allah’s servant recites until ‘nastaʿīn this becomes a matter between Allah and Allah’s servant. In the end, Janâb-i Haqq says that the rest of it belongs to the servant and whatever the servant will have a right to wish whatever he wants. Thus, we can consider this as a manifestation of Allah’s blessing. From then on, the Rabb (Lord) will grant the inaam (gift, reward) necessary and the guidance which are crucial in finding seerat al-mustaqim (straight path). So, after all this, you should bow only to Allah. We see a canon of balance and justice in the universe. These balances and these laws we can see all of the laws and balances of this universe in the Quran. The ayahs (verses) of Al-Quran Al-Karim are recited in the universe. The Quran is being recited in the universe. The entire universe recites at-Tahiyyat (testimony of faith) and al-Fatihah; the universe recites the Quran. The balances and laws of the universe all reside within the Quran. The entirety of all laws of balance in the universe are in Al-Quran Al-Karim. For that reason, Janâb-i Haqq introduced a law of balance. The entirety of the ummah (nation) as the subjects and as the khalifs of Allah must be in unanimity. In other words, the entire ummah (nation) must abide by Allah’s command they must say labbayk (at your service) and abide by Allah’s command. “ʾiyyāka naʿbudu – You [alone] do we worship,” this is what al-Fatihah gives voice to. Us! The entire ummah (nation), the entire believers! We will only worship to You! Will those who utter these words via his soul and consciousness ever worship a human? Will they ever worship someone other than Allah? Will they acknowledge and another ruler other than Allah? The sovereignty belongs to Allah eternally. The absolute ruler is Allah al-Ta’ala. You see, in this verse, “ʾiyyāka naʿbudu – You [alone] do we worship there is a covenant between the servant and Allah. The ummah (nation) have a collective covenant. In the past eternity, this covenant was made in Qalu Bala. Those who refuse to acknowledge Islam are those who return from their promise that they made in Qalu Bala in a place called the realm of spirits. Analysis, tawil (interpretation), assay, commendations along with the facts about praising Allah, to praise Allah to praise and be praised, and mahmudiyat. In all types, varieties, qualities, all praise and glory belongs to Allah only. For thanks and praises are a right of Allah, it is a property of Allah. With praise we respect the owner of the goodness. Allah is the Creator who created all realms with Allah’s rahmat (blessing) so by all means Allah holds the right to be praised and glorified.

Time Stamp: 1:40:07

This includes all goodness that came or is yet to come. The believers express gratitude in return of the bounties the praise that comes from the heart is due to sincere respect. There is a sincere connection, and friendship. The word, “madih” means “to praise out of turn”. A hadith of our Prophet (asw) from Ibni Hibban has the following meaning: “Disregard the words of the flatteres.” However, rightful praise has its place in Islam but you won’t find flattery or adulation. The owner of true praise is Allah al-Ta’ala. The one who brings the sustenance deserves a thank but the true praise belongs to the One who sends the sustenance. However, the one who brings it should be thanked as well. The praise is not due to flattery, but due to sincerity; it must be for Allah. Another name for the ummah (nation) is ‘hammadun’ which our Prophet (saw) has seen in the miʿraj (night journey). Now, who are the ‘hammadun’? They are those who praise Allah a lot. They are those who praise Allah with their well-known praises. They praise Allah as much as their strength allows them. Those who praise Allah with the divine words Allah introduced and with the Quran and the names of Allah. People who do good deeds and do kindness deserve praise but they are only praised for Allah. They are not to be praised like Allah. May Janâb-i Haqq admit us among the servants who praise Allah righteously.
