Turkish English Tafsir Lesson 188-191

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 188

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Dearest friends!

Friends, in the 179th verse of Surah al-Baqarah [2], just like we said in our previous lectures, Almighty Allah (c.c.) said the following.

The hodja is reciting the original text of the verse.

“There is life in retribution (qisas).”

That is, to protect life, and remove murder and violence. If you don’t destroy murder and violence, then you cannot protect life. That is why Almighty Allah says that there is life in retribution (qisas).

People have the right to live… Now, let us bear this in mind! The justice for taking a life is retribution (qisas). See, the balance and equality here is in retribution (qisas). Protecting the murderer and neglecting the rights of all the people who were killed by him is of no use other than feeding the murderer. That is why, just like it is with every other matter, Almighty Allah brought forth the real justice. See, in this case the murderer ends his life by his own choice, and when the heirs forgive him, the murderer returns to life as if he got resurrected, this is just like a scene of holy gift being given to him. See, the murderer understands that it is as if he got resurrected, but also knows that the sword of justice stands ready on his neck. What would have happened had the heirs not forgive him? Retaliation (qisas) would have been implemented, and the murderer would have experienced the real justice and pay with his life the way he murdered another human being unjustly. That’s why the justice of Islam is filled to brim with wisdom (hikmat). Janâb-i Haqq personally filled the contents of the justice of Islam. For they are Allah’s own justice, laws, and rules. You cannot find any of these properties in any of the man-made laws because it is impossible to find the attributes of Allah in us servants (qul). See, there is as much difference between the justice of Islam and the justice of others as there are differences between us servants (qul) and Allah (c.c.). That’s why mankind deceives himself. They have been feeding the murderers and grand thieves by adorning them and polishing them. Those who claim they are modern and they observe justice by feeding them should review their situations again.

Then again, the 32nd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5] says, “Whoever saves a life is as though he had resurrected all mankind.”

See, there is both justice and ihsan, let us have a look.

Now, the term ifrat means overstepping the bounds, and tafrit means to neglect and to lag behind. The religion of Islam abolished both ifrat and tafrit and ensured a full balance. That is why, if killing a person is like killing the entire mankind, then saving a life is like saving the lives of all mankind, says Al-Quran Al-Karim in the 32nd verse of Surah al-Maidah. That is why the religion of Islam brought forth full balance, for these are Allah’s own measures.

Time Stamp: 5:00

As for measure, they are the decrees (hukm) that Allah sends down, along with the true pedestals and the real or haqq laws. Don’t forget that! The measure, they are the decrees (hukm) that Allah sends down, along with the true pedestals and the real or haqq laws. Islam is nothing but Allah’s (c.c.) laws. Prophet Muhammad is the one who implemented them and announced them to mankind in the best possible way, explained them and settled them on earth. This is because Almighty Allah gave him this duty.

See, on that day those who do not judge by Torah… Well, there was Isa (Jesus) and the Bible before Prophet Muhammad (asw), and before him there was Musa (Moses) and the Torah. That said, there were the Scriptures before Musa (Moses) and the Torah, and there were 100 Scriptures.

Ten of those were sent to Adam (a.s.), fifty of them were sent to Seth (Şit), thirty of them were sent to Idris, and ten of them were sent to Ibrahim (a.s.). So, it means it was sent as a book; before Isa (Jesus), the Torah was given to Musa (Moses). See, those who did not judge by the decree of the Torah on that day did not fulfil the justice. See, they are those who don’t judge by the Torah and don’t accept Musa (Moses), bear this in mind! Had they accepted Musa (a.s.), and had they believed in the Torah, then they should have judged by the Torah. See, Janâb-i Haqq said those who don’t judge by the Torah are disbelievers (kāfir). Moreover, after that a new sharia (law) came that abrogated Judaism; and said that those who don’t accept Isa (Jesus) and the Bible and those who don’t judge by it on that day are disbelievers (kāfir) and wrongdoers (zalimun).

Dearest friends!

Janâb-i Haqq wants men to judge by Allah’s own laws in every era and every setting. This is Allah’s right, for that is Allah. Allah is the unique and all-able absolute ruler. All the worlds were created by Allah’s creation and laws, and it all operates with Allah’s laws. See, Janâb-i Haqq sent down to mankind the laws of Islam, and Allah’s Books. See, Janâb-i Haqq has renewed the sharia (law) personally in every era and every setting; and Janâb-i Haqq is the Law-Maker (Shari Ta’ala). Scriptures were sent to Nuh (Noah). Scriptures were also sent to Ibrahim (Abraham), and after him they were ruled with the Scriptures until Musa (Moses). However, the revelation became a book in the time of Musa (Moses), and the Torah was revealed. That said, the Psalms was revealed to Dawood, and after that the Injil was revealed to Isa (Jesus), and what did Janâb-i Haqq do after all of that? Allah renewed the past with Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad. These are all Allah Ta’ala’s own laws. See, Janâb-i Haqq renews the previous laws with the next set of laws. Allah has renewed the Torah with the Bible, and renewed the Bible and all of the previous ones with the Quran. See, the sharia (law) of Islam is the brand-new sharia (law) of Islam, and it is the sharia (law) of Allah. Allah has renewed the entire past with the sharia (law) of Islam.

Not acknowledging by heart, and to belittle, but what? What are those who overstep the provisions (hukm) even though they have believed? They are flagrant sinners (fāsiq). See, a man comes up and says he is a Muslim, and says that he accepts the religion and book of Allah Ta’ala and the provisions (hukm) of Islam.

Time Stamp: 10:00

If he does not fulfil Allah’s laws and commands even though he said that, then those who overstep the provision (hukm) are fāsiqūn. See, to not acknowledge by heart, and to not acknowledge the divine laws by heart, to not believe in them, and to belittle them is nothing but being a kāfir and a fāsiq.

Because, a person believes but does not do, this is a fāsiq. Another person does not believe and does not do it, he is a fāsiq and a kāfir.

Now, what happened when the Jews and the Christians did not acknowledge the decrees (hukm) of the Torah and the bible? They fell into disbelief (kufr), transgression (zulm), and they became fāsiq people.

This is because the following was said for the Torah and the Bible, “Those who don’t judge by what I have sent down are kāfir, zālim, and fāsiq.”

It is also like this in their belief, and this is written in their books. Al-Quran Al-Karim is the witness of the past. Al-Quran Al-Karim itself gives the news about this. Starting with the 44th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5]:

The hodja is reciting the 44th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

The hodja is reciting a part of the 50th verse of Surah al-Nur [24].

The hodja is reciting the word fāsiqūn in Arabic.

These were said in the verses, and the ones that are similar to these are also like this. They are disbelievers (kāfir) because they deny the divine decree (hukm) and belittle it. They are also wrongdoers (zālim) because they judge by other decrees (hukm). That said, they also flagrant sinners (fāsiq) because they overstepped the true judgement. See, the three qualities come together. Kufr, zulm, and fisq, these are attributes that add up. See, Almighty Allah Ta’ala personally explains the situations of those who don’t believe in Allah’s own laws and Allah. As it is like this: “O, Muhammad (asw)!” That is, “What are those who don’t accept you Muhammad, the Quran, and the decrees (hukm) that Allah has sent down to you?” See, as it is the situation with the Injil, and the Torah is also the same, Janâb-i Haqq says, “O, Muhammad!” “What is the situation of those who deny you, those who deny Al-Quran AL-Karim, and the decrees (hukm) that Allah has revealed to Prophet Muhammad?” Well, the answer to that question is obvious. You yourself should decide that, what is the answer to this? The answer is clear and obvious.

The one that abrogates distorted ones, that which cannot be distorted, the innocent, the muhaymin (المهيْمن). Do you see? The one that abrogates the distorted ones, that which cannot be distorted ever, and is innocent, and is muhaymin (المهيْمن). It has protected the authenticity of the past and the future, and it bears witness. What are those who do not judge by the glorious Quran? Now, everyone who listen to the Quran and know the Quran know the answer of this question. The Quran is acknowledger of truth (musadiq). The decrees that are not validated by Al-Quran Al-Karim are not valid. The decrees (hukm) of the Torah and the Bible are under record in the Quran. The decrees that are not validated by Al-Quran Al-Karim are not valid because Janâb-i Haqq has renewed the past with Al-Quran Al-Karim. Allah renews the books personally. Allah sends the Messengers personally. “The religion with Allah is only Islam.”

Time Stamp: 15:00

Allah has been sending Prophets and renewing the past up to this day, and what did Allah do with Prophet Muhammad at last? Allah renewed the entire past with the sharia (law) of Islam. That’s why the decrees (hukm) of the Torah and the Bible are recorded in the Quran. The decrees (hukm) that are not confirmed by Al-Quran Al-Karim are not valid. As for the things that Al-Quran Al-Karim confirms, whether about the past or the future, they are valid. See, Prophet Muhammad and the Quran has to confirm first, because Allah renewed the entire past with them, and brought forth the everlasting, last, divine, and brand-new sharia (law) of Islam, which is the divine order. Muhaymin (المهيْمن). Al-Quran Al-Karim is muhaymin (المهيْمن). What does it mean? It means, raqīb (watchful), hafiz (preserver), shahid (witness), safe, overseer, protector, that which is believed, and that which is a true witness of the past. Whose book is the Quran? Yes, it is Allah’s. Who renewed the past? Allah renewed the past via Muhammad and the Quran. That’s why Al-Quran Al-Karim preserves the past and protects the past. Al-Quran Al-Karim is raqīb (watchful). Al-Quran Al-Karim is also hafiz (preserver) because it holds the past in its memory. Al-Quran Al-Karim is the witness of the past. Al-Quran Al-Karim is reliable and is the overseer and protector of the past, along with Prophet Muhammad and Islam. See, Al-Quran Al-Karim is the book which is believed, and it is a true witness, and it checks the other books, along with Prophet Muhammad and Islam. Al-Quran Al-Karim knows their rights and wrongs, contains the documents of the past because it is a brand-new sharia (law), and also all documents regarding the future are in Al-Quran AL-Karim. They are all in Islam which Prophet Muhammad introduced.

“The only religion that is right (haqq) in the world and with Allah is the religion of Islam.”

See, the religion of Islam is also the religion of all Prophets. See, some people overstepped the bounds of Islam which is the religion that their Prophets brought, and the religion brought by every Prophet is none other than Islam. You see, the ones that do not suit Islam which every Prophet introduced are religions that were fabricated later and they are all false religions.

An open and public street and a clear way that encompasses all ways and sharīʿahs (laws) is only the religion of Islam. It is both the shirʿa (code), and the minhāj (way). See the 57th and 58th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5], whose meanings I gave earlier. We are now trying to further clarify things in order to discover them so that unknown things may be known, and unclear things may be clear. This is why our lecture continues with exegetical (tafsir) notes. Each and every one of these are discovery notes.

Now, in these verses of the Quran the words, shirʿa (code), and minhāj (way) are mentioned. Janâb-i Haqq says: “shirʿatan wa-minhājan.” Now, let us comprehend these well, what does shirʿa (code), and minhāj (way) mean? Sharia, shirʿa, or something like meshrea. It is the way that goes. The way that is brought forth by Allah is shirʿa and sharia, which are the special provisions (hukm) that Allah has offered, and this means religion. Therefore, the name of the religion and the sharia (law) that Shari Ta’ala brought forth is Islam. This is the sharia (law) of Islam.

Time Stamp 20:00

Sharia is that which shows the path. As for Shari (Law-Maker) that is Allah. The one who brought forth the sharia (law) and who renewed it is Almighty Allah, the Shari (Law-Maker), which means the one who brings forth the sharia (law). As for “ṣālike,” it means the one who joins the way. Now, those who follow this way are called ṣālik and ṣālih (righteous people). As for the word minhāj (way), it means an open and wide road, a distinct type of road. See, the religion of Islam is both shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) because it has renewed all of the sharīʿahs (laws) of the past. That is, both a sharia (law) and a minhāj (way). It is such an open and such a wide road that it is the peaceful road that will lead you to Janna (Paradise). It is the divine road that is walked with the divine laws.

Shirʿa (code) is the absolute sharia (law). There is also makārim al-sharī’ah; there are values of the sharia (law), and the contents of the sharia (law) are nothing but reality (haqiqa), and nothing but ma’rifa (knowledge), and nothing but the way that leads to Allah. It is the way that comes from Allah and leads to Allah. Makārim al-sharī’ah are the values of the sharia (law), and its contents are filled to the brim with wisdom (hikmat), bliss, happiness, and peace. It will lead one to the truly blissful ending. It leads to Janna (Paradise) and the Jamal (Beauty) of Allah.

That’s why, our dearest friends, there are things like tariqa (school), reality (haqiqa), and ma’rifa (knowledge) in the contents of the sharia (law), which we call makārim al-sharī’ah (values of the code), and these are the contents of Islam. It does not matter what you call them, they are all Islam and the sharia (law) of Islam. Besides, another name for sharia is not necessary anyway. The contents of Islam are filled to brim with sacred values and precious things. Islam came only for the bliss of mankind. Janâb-i Haqq has offered the laws and commands to us servants (qul) as it is a right of Allah, and Allah has been testing mankind on earth with it. The questions themselves are in Islam along with the answers, and you pass the test when you believe it and live it. And when you refuse, it does not matter if you only deny the belief (itiqad) or deeds (amal), you will fail the test. Those who deny the belief (itiqad) become disbelievers (kāfir), hypocrites (munafiq), and polytheists (mushrik). As for those who deny the deeds (amal), they become flagrant sinners (fāsiq), and fail the test. The first-degree losers of the test are the non-believers. Those who don’t believe in Allah and the principles of Allah are first-degree losers who love everything. As for the second-degree losers, they are those who believe but do not fulfil what the commands necessitate, meaning those who don’t have good deeds (amal-e-saleh). That is, those who don’t abstain from harams and sins. That is why sharia (law) comes first, and it includes all values. There is tariqa (school) and minhāj (way) in it. The sharia (law) is the beginning, and the minhāj (way) is its continuation. See, the glorious sharia (law) of Islam is the minhāj (way), and it will take you to Allah on that luminous way. Along the way there is the sharia (law) which consists of clear and true realities (haqiqa) that Almighty Allah brought forth. And minhāj (way) is the provisions (hukm) that further clarify that.

For example, the muhkam verses are clear verses. There are also mutashabih (unclear) verses of Al-quran Al-Karim which are explained by the muhkam (clear) verses.

Time Stamp: 25:10

Now, the unknown and enclosed aspect of the sharia (law) is explained to you by its clear aspect. That is why Shari Ta’ala has explained the succinct texts to mankind via the Prophet. The sharia (law) is clear with the following essential sources which are the book, sunnah (customs), community consensus (ijmā al-ummah), and analogical reasoning of the jurists (qiyās-i fuqahā). Shirʿa (code) is the ancillaries (furū) of the religion that change as the times and settings change. As for minhāj (way), it is the unchangeable essence of the religion.

Now, what did Janâb-i Haqq do to the sharia (law) of Musa (Moses), with the new book that was sent to Isa (Jesus)? Janâb-i Haqq renewed it. See, the sharia (law) of Musa (Moses) was renewed with that of Isa (Jesus). That said, Musa (Moses) had renewed those that were before him by the leave of Allah. Later, the sharia (law) of Musa (Moses) was renewed by the Bible. After that, Allah renewed all previous ones with the Quran. Now, what changes as times and settings change is the ancillaries (furū) of the religion, and Allah personally changes and renews them. Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam… Islam is the last religion and the last sharia (law). It is brand-new and fresh, and it is the religion of all eras until the Last Day. This is why it came with sacred values that respond to all needs of all eras, and it came with sacred values that are even beyond all eras.

Know Islam correctly, and give duty to the mujtahids. Protect them in the chairs and positions they deserve, and unite all of the mujtahids in the world. Examine their licenses and see whether they are mujtahids based on scholarly fundamentals and scholarly proofs. See, after that the religion of Islam is ahead of all ages, and everything else besides it is outdated, that Islam went beyond ages, and that it will raise mankind above ʿarsh (the throne), and that it will reach mankind to the gardens above the seven layers of heavens… See all that by looking at the values it contains.

Value knowledge (ilm), value mujtahids, and value people of knowledge, and unite them. We are not talking about the phoneys who polish the apple for someone, or those who try to procure unearned income. We are not talking about the bel’ams who side with the Pharaoh against Musa. We are not talking about those who wanted to crucify Isa (Jesus) by spying. We are not talking about the spies among the twelve disciples who wanted to crucify Isa (Jesus).

Editor’s note: a bel’am person is he who has believed but is deceived by Satan later, and he has sold his religion for worldly gain, sold his prophet, and sold the believers. Value revered figures who have knowledge and license who know the sacred book Almighty Allah brought forth, along with the sunnah (customs) of the Prophet, and consensus (ijma), and analogy (qiyas); and unite them. After that you will see how real discoveries are made as time progresses, and the world will see that new decrees (hukm) that are fresh and brand-new are in Islam. However, if you push the mujtahids behind the curtain, and give license to non-competent people, and push back the competent ones, then non-competent phoneys will take over, and they will start bringing forth wrong ideas, and people will think those wrongs are Islam, and then a mentality that claims Islam is outdated will emerge.

Time Stamp: 30:00

They can’t see that their mindset is outdated either. Can the laws set by Allah Ta’ala (c.c.) be outdated? They are the newest of new, and highest of high. The whole ignorance here is due to not knowing Islam. This is also the cause of enmity of Islam, not knowing Islam. See, a person who is hostile towards Islam is as though he had burned his own house. Islam is nothing but bliss, and happiness of entire humanity. That said, it also protects the peace in the ecosystem in accordance with its purpose of creation. These are all dedicated to the bliss of all mankind because they were all created for man. This is what the Almighty Quran says. Minhāj (way) is the constant essence of the religion. The faiths or imans of Musa (Moses), Isa (Jesus), Ibrahim (Abraham) and Muhammad are same. The faiths or imans of all Prophets are the same, because the essentials of faith (iman) in Islam have always been the same from before the beginning (azal) and end (abad), they are unchangeable. Allah has always been one, and will always be one, and there is no god but Allah. See, believing in the angels of Allah is present in the fundamentals (amantu) of every Prophet. Also, believing in all books is present in the fundamentals (amantu) of every Prophet. Moreover, believing in the afterlife and resurrection after death are present in the fundamentals (amantu) of every Prophet, and these are all the same in every one of them.

See, the faith (iman) of Prophet Muhammad, Musa (Moses), and Isa (Jesus) is different. Those who portray this as something divided are those who deny some of the Prophets. In Islam, there is belief in all Prophets and all Holy Books. The faith (iman) of Islam is universal, and it encompasses the past and future, along with all humanity and all values. It denies fabrications, wrongs, and things that lead to polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), and corruption (nifaq). Do you know what happens when you divinize a servant (qul)? See, that would be slander against Isa (Jesus), slander against Musa (Moses), and slander against others, and in the end, slander against Allah. There is no god but Allah, but you try to divinize a person, and say Allah is two or three, and say “third person of a trinity,” and try to divinize this or that people. Do you know what happened then? They deviated from the minhāj (way). See, minhāj (way) is the unchangeable essentials of the religion. Minhāj (way) is the fundamentals or amantu of Islam. The faiths or imans of Adam and Muhammad, along with the faiths or imans of all Prophets and Muslims in between are the same. Allah Ta’ala did not sent separate fundamentals or amantu to Musa (Moses), Isa (Jesus), and Muhammad. This is as clear as the day. Yet, they don’t speak the truths, and that’s why they are not working for the better good of humanity. See, working for the better good of humanity is to speak the truth. Allah speaks the truth, and Al-Quran al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad are the document of the brand-new truths. Before them it was Isa (Jesus) and the Bible, and even before him it was Musa (Moses) and the Torah. Do you know who was it before them? There were the Scriptures, and Prophet Nuh (Noah). There were the Scriptures, and the truth was revealed through them. Friends, all Prophets up until Prophet Muhammad speak the truth, believe correctly, and don’t do wrong. The wrongdoing is with those who deviate from the way of the Prophets, those who distort the holy books, those who give them false meanings, those who ruin them, and those who sacrifice their sacred values for the sake of chair and position. That is where the problem lies. Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad are the witnesses of the past, and Al-Quran Al-Karim has no chance of being distorted forever with its real and haqq documents, but why? Because it is the last holy book.

Time Stamp: 35:07

The religion of Islam and the Quran are brand-new and fresh, and there is no chance of distorting them. Why? Al-Quran Al-Karim has been in the memory of hundreds and thousands of hafizes (memorizers) for centuries. Moreover, there are millions of copies of Al-Quran Al-Karim, and there is not even a single mistake in any of them. You cannot encounter this in any of the other holy books. For example, only one Injil has been sent down by Allah, but there are so many now and they don’t suit each other. See the Torah for example, so many things that do not suit a book that has been sent down by Allah. In it, there are slanders to the Prophets. There are slanders to Dawood and Suleiman. There are slanders to Shuʿayb and Lot. There is denial of many Prophets. How can this be in Allah’s book? The real and haqq Torah was saying the truth back then, but it was not preserved. The Injil was telling the truth, but it was not preserved. That is why Allah renewed them with Al-Quran Al-Karim. Had they preserved them… Well, Allah willed and renewed them as the time and era changed.

That is why we should take a good look at what minhāj (way) is, it is the unchangeable essentials of the religion. As for shirʿa (code), it is the branches and varieties of it. The special provisions (hukm) that were sent in the past to the Prophets of every nation are called sharīʿahs (laws). Janâb-i Haqq has renewed what is old when new provisions (hukm) are sent to the Prophets. Sharia (law) is the new and special provisions (hukm) that are sent down to every Prophet. Janâb-i Haqq renews the sharia (law) of the previous Prophet with the next Prophet. In the provisions (hukm) that each and every Prophet brought, the changeless fundamentals of faith are called minhāj (way). There have not been any changes in the fundamentals of faith of any Prophet. Do you think Janâb-i Haqq would say that there was one god before but now there are two gods? Never! Never in ever!

That is why the fundamentals of faith do not change. Allah’s holy attributes (sifāt) do not change. Allah’s personal, inherent, and actual attributes (sifāt) do not change. Allah is one in Allah’s being, all doings (af’al), and everything. Allah is attributed with perfect attributes (sifāt). Allah is beginningless (azali) and endless (abadi), and one in every aspect. Allah has no partners, no overseers, no equals; never had and never will. Allah is no father. Allah has no children. Allah is unlike the creatures. Allah has servants (qul), and creatures. When Allah says, “kun – كُن – be” then, “fa-yakūn – فَيَكُونُ – and it happens.” Allah knows every method of creating. That is why the 13th verse of al-Shu’ara [26] goes, “Give messengership also to Aaron.” What did Musa (a.s.) do? Janâb-i Haqq gave Aaron (a.s.) to him as a helper. Moreover, truths are also being announced in the 285th verse of Surah al-Baqarah. Then again, the truth is being shouted out in the 253rd verse of Surah al-Baqarah. In our previous lectures I had tried to neatly narrate these to you. An appropriate shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) were given to various peoples so that they may not follow their sensual desires. An appropriate shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) were given to various peoples so that they may not follow their sensual desires. See, the shirʿa (code) of the ummah was the Torah from Musa to Isa. The shirʿa (code) of the ummah was the Bible from Isa to Muhammad. After that, the shirʿa (code) of the entire humanity, entire world, and all nations has been in Al-Quran Al-Karim.

Time Stamp: 40:25

There is a universal minhāj (way) in which all shirʿa (code) unite and merge into. See, Allah brought forth the sirat al-mustaqim (the straight path), which is the universal minhāj (way), and all shirʿa (code) are united in it. So, this is the concept of shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) in the Quran. See, Al-Quran Al-Karim, the religion of Islam, and Prophet Muhammad have incorporated the essence of every sharia (law) and every book) into their structures. Islam itself is the right and haqq way that rules and guides every nation. Islam is the universal sharia (law) and minhāj (way) that embraces all people and djinn. The sharia (law) and minhāj (way) of Islam have embraced entire humanity.

If a real unity is desired in the world, then what should you do about this embracement of Islam? Well, you should participate and not stand against it. Islam came to embrace you. Islamic sharia (law) and minhāj (way) came to embrace all humanity. Yet, the disbelievers ran from this mercy. Islam is the abode of mercy, and the address of being blissful forever. The life-giving values came to embrace you, and came to give you eternal and blissful life. See, the life-giving values are the brand-new sharia (law) and minhāj (way) of Islam.

Yes, dearest friends!

The 165th verse of Surah al-An’am says: “It is Allah who has made you successors on the earth.” What does Almighty Allah say? Says, “I have made you successors on earth.” See, Allah says that mankind has been made successors on the earth. So, what is the duty of successors, mankind? It is to be bound to the command of Allah Ta’ala, and to accept Allah’s rulership.

Allah is our Rabb. Allah is our Rabb who is ar-Raḥmān, ar-Raḥīm, al-Mālik, and al-Quddūs. Allah is the unique and absolute ruler of the Ruz-i Cezâ (the Last Day). Allah is the sole and absolute ruler of all the worlds. We need to submit to Allah and believe wholeheartedly, and enter into Allah’s command. See, when the entire humanity accepts their Rabb’s sovereignty, there will be peace, tranquillity, unity, coalescence, brotherhood, and all types of good and sweet things in the world, we will see them emerge. We are telling you, and we are endeavouring to spread it. We don’t have any authority to force people to believe. Besides, faith that is adopted by force is not a real faith, you have to accept it with pleasure. Can a person believe in Allah Ta’ala by force? Besides, everything about you belongs to Allah, and you need to be under Allah’s command with pleasure, and be a servant (qul) to Allah. See, the way that leads to eternal freedom, being a real servant (qul), and being a sultan of the true realm passes through this faith (iman) and submission to Allah, not serving people slavishly. The provision (hukm) is not according to everyone’s desires and whim. It is necessary (wajib) that it be according to the shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) that Allah has sent down. That is, this is absolutely necessary and obligatory (fard). It is an absolute obligation (fard).

Time Stamp: 45:00

See, this is because Allah personally sent down the shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way). They are Allah’s provisions (hukm). They were sent to people in various times through selection (istıfâ), shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) was sent to them. That said, the one that is sent last is the sharia (law) of all of the previous ones. What is it? Well, the last one to come is the sharia (law) of all of them. Meaning, it is the sharia (law) of all the previous ones. See, the last one to come is Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim, which is Allah’s shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way). Therefore, as the last sharia (law) is Islam, then the Jews and the Christians have to accept Islam, and this is to their benefit. Only then will they have believed in the Bible and the Torah. If they don’t accept Islam, then they will not have believed in Musa, Isa, the Bible, or the Torah. Why? Because they know Muhammad in the Torah better than they know their own sons, and Isa (Jesus) was giving good news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad. As for Musa (Moses), he was giving the news of Prophet Muhammad’s coming to his people, and the Torah was giving the news. Now, if you accept only certain parts of the Torah and the Bible and neglect the rest, will you have believed in them? If you accept certain commands of Musa (Moses) and deny some of them, will you believe in Musa (Moses)? Will you have believed in Isa (Jesus) by doing that? Will you have believed in the Bible?

Therefore, acknowledging Islam and the Quran is to the benefit of those who do. In case it is not accepted, that is up to everyone to decide, and they will absolutely receive a receipt. That is either in Ruz-i Cezâ (the Last Day), or in the world, or in the grave, or in the great gathering (mahshar).

For the last shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) of Allah is Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad. Allah brought forth the shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way), and it is brand-new. Moreover, you cannot say that you accept one of Allah’s books and deny the others, just like you cannot say you acknowledge one of the Prophets and deny the rest. All commands of Allah are holy. The previous sharīʿahs (laws) are also our sharīʿahs (laws) on the condition that they pass the validation of Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad. However, they must be validated and confirmed by Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad because Allah has renewed the past with Muhammad and the Quran. In order for a document of the past to be valid it must be validated by Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad (asw). That’s why we must not neglect this truth under any circumstance. If the Quran confirms it, and Prophet Muhammad confirms it, then the previous sharīʿahs (laws) are valid for us too. Besides, there are things that Islam has renewed and abrogated, and those what it did not. See the Torah for example, about the verse of retribution (qisas). Says that you should not kill people unjustly, the same verse is present in Al-Quran Al-Karim. Many admonitions of Allah are present in the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran. So, it means that whatever there are in the past that Muhammad and the Quran confirms are all present in Islam today. They are all valid in the sharia (law) of Islam. That’s why we should understand the past according to the expression of the Quran and the statement of Prophet Muhammad.

Time Stamp: 50:00

We should understand the past according to the expression of the Quran and the statement of Prophet Muhammad. If we want to understand the past, which we should, we have to look at the expression of Al-Quran Al-Karim and the statement of Prophet Muhammad.

See, Janâb-i Haqq has gathered all sharīʿahs (laws) in Islam that is minhāj (way), bear this in mind! Another meaning of minhāj (way) is that the entire past and all sharīʿahs (laws) have been gathered into Islamic minhāj (way) by Janâb-i Haqq, bear this in mind!

Now, what does Janâb-i Haqq say?

The hodja is reciting a part of the 48th verse of Surah al-Baqarah.

Says that there is something that confirms what they had in front of them, and as a witness to them there is a Quran, and the statements of Prophet Muhammad. See, we have to think that those who don’t accept the minhāj (way) of Islam have committed such a terrible crime. Tomorrow, they will go to the grand gathering (mahshar), and what will they say to Almighty Allah?

Will they say, “We did not accept the Quran. We denied Muhammad. We denied the shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way). We did not follow the way of Isa (Jesus) either. We also did not follow the way of the Bible or the Torah, and we changed them and interpreted them at our whim, and after that there was neither Isa (Jesus) or his sharia (law); and neither the sharia (law) of Musa (Moses) was around. We have also denied Muhammad’s, which was the brand-new and fresh. So, what will you say in the gathering (mahshar)? See, the receipt is obvious…

Now, in the 61st verse of Surah al-Nahl, Janâb-i Haqq does not give punishment right away for people’s transgressions (zulm). See, had Janâb-i Haqq given the punishment for people right away, for example given the punishment of the criminals right away, then there would not be anyone left in the world. Rather, Allah has set a clock for the end of the specified term (ajal), and set everything. When your term (ajal) comes to an end the soldiers of Allah will take you and transport you. See, the armies of Azrail (a.s.) will come and take you. Your specified term is set, and everything is set. If the punishment for someone who committed a sin was given right away, then there won’t be any living soul on earth. Everyone is given a respite and a time for the test. We are in the test saloon, and as you know every test has a duration. See, Janâb-i Haqq gave everyone this duration of test, and duration of life for a complete trial.

See, right after that duration which equals to the end of your life, your hour of ajal was placed. Azrail (a.s.) will take you with his armies and bring you to Allah. Be prepared for that. But of course, I am telling these to myself, and we are listening while I say these to myself because if not, then I would not have done my duty as a brother, and I would be a rebel against Allah because Janâb-i Haqq commands us to spread the truth to one another.

That said, a decree and a state is in need. The provisions (hukm) and the state are very important, and it is much needed. It is absolutely necessary that the judges judge by the book. This necessity (wajib) is an absolute obligation. It is an obligation of every crime that is about to be promoted. They are the ones who will be struck by the greatest punishment if and when they don’t judge by the people justly. Otherwise, they may wait for disasters. Yes, disasters may bring many troubles and mafias.

Time Stamp: 55:00

Their bombs of transgression (zulm) shall implode in them. There is transgression (zulm) where there is no justice. See, transgression (zulm) ruins people, but ruins the wrongdoer (zalim) first. It is an obligation upon everyone to judge justly, foremost the judges.

Now, what is justice? The things that Allah called justice is justice. The best decree (hukm) is the decree (hukm) of Allah, and to judge by it. As for disbelievers (ahlul kufr), those who have distorted hearts, they consider the decree (hukm) of a transgressor (zalimun) better, and claim Allah’s decree (hukm) is outdated. See, Allah is not modern, rather your mentality is outdated. Every command of Allah is holy, best, and most just. See, disbelief (kufr), ignorance, and corruption got them sentenced to punishment. Do you know how the nations that are punished? They have been punished due to disbelief (kufr), ignorance, and corruption. The shirʿa (code) and minhāj (way) of Islam is the desired sharia (law) this is the way for everyone. Now, the Jews and the Christians who don’t accept it along with others who did not even accept their religion and sharia (law). Al-Quran Al-Karim narrated this. See, the vastness of the obligation of the community of Islam has been shown. The ummah (people) of Islam are under obligation with a complete obligation: They have to narrate the values of Almighty Allah to humanity correctly, unbiased, unadulterated divine laws, and the verses of Al-Quran AL-Karim, along with the sunnah (customs) ijma (consensus) and qiyas (analogy) correctly. Who? The ummah (nation) of Islam, and the ummah of Muhammad (asw).

That is why you should go and check the 36th verse of Surah al-Ibrahim [14]. “Whoever follows me is me.” Who says that? Ibrahim (a.s.) said that whoever stands against, then you are most forgiving and most merciful. That is, Ibrahim (a.s.) wants Allah’s mercy and grace. Then again, in the 118th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5], Isa (a.s.) says: “O, my Allah! If you punish them, they are surely your servants (qul), and if you forgive them, then you have grandeur (izzat) wisdom (hikmat).” Do you know what Prophet Muhammad said? See, our Master (asw) had recited these verses and raised his hand: “My Allah!” He started supplicating to Janâb-i Haqq by continuously saying, “my ummah!” After that Jibril (a.s.) came and our Prophet started crying. He cried by saying, “my ummah! my ummah.” For he knew that there are as many people on the wrong path as there are on the right path. See, he also knew that mankind was going wrong. He knew that humanity has been so wrong and will be wrong. That is why he recited these verses. These are verses of Al-Quran Al-Karim.

Time Stamp: 1:00:00

The documents from the past, witnessing of the past… Al-Quran Al-Karim is the witness of the past. Al-Quran Al-Karim knows Ibrahim (Abraham) better than anyone. Al-Quran Al-Karim knows about the previous Prophets and their tribes, and what they did to those Prophets better than anyone. You see, Allah placed these before Prophet Muhammad with Al-Quran Al-Karim because Allah is All-Knowing. Allah documented the witnessing of the past and the documents of the future with Islam. The title deeds of the past and the future are in Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam. That is why our Prophet had recited these verses and raised his hands for Allah.

“My Allah!” he said and added, “My people… My people…” he was sobbing and crying when Jibril (a.s.) arrived. “Almighty Allah shall please you with regards to your people, we will not upset you.” Janâb-i Haqq said, “We will please you.” “My Beloved! O, Muhammad! We will not upset you,” but who said this? Janâb-i Haqq said it, and Jibril (a.s.) bore the news.

Now, let us have a look. In these verses of the Quran, Janâb-i Haqq informed us about many holy decrees (hukm) and holy commands with regards to past, today, and future. Allah brought forth life-giving values so that us servants (qul) may find life and be happy.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 189

On the 51st to 64th verses of Surah Al-Maidah [5].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Our lesson continues with the 51st verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

The hodja is reciting the 51st and 52nd verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Almighty Rabb said the following in these verses of the Quran.

“O, you who believe,” said Allah. “Do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are allies of each other. And whoever among you takes them as allies, indeed he becomes one of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide a wrongdoing lot to the straight path.”

“You see those in whose hearts there is a disease, they hasten to them saying, “We fear lest a disaster befalls us.” It is hoped that Allah will bring about a conquest or command from near Allah, and they will be regretful for what they concealed in themselves.”

Dearest friend!

Muslims are friendly towards everyone. However, Janâb-i Haqq informs about those who are not friendly towards Islam and Muslims. Tells us to know them, have a look! The religion of Islam has been embracing all nations for 14 centuries, and it has been protecting their lives as if they are its own to this day. Islam and Muslims are friends of all humanity. However, there are those who are not friendly towards Islam and Muslims. See, Allah informs us about them. Allah says that if you befriend those who are not friendly towards you, then they will not become your friends but you will become one of them. Pay close attention to that! Almighty Allah speaks the truth, but not everyone understands the truth. Look, if everyone understood the truth, such a situation would not have arisen.

The hodja is reciting the 53rd and 54th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Almighty Rabb says: “O, you who believe! Are they those who swore by Allah with solemn oaths that they are with you? All of their deeds became worthless, and they became the losers.”

Why? Because what’s in them does not suit what they show.

“O, you who believe! Whoever turns back from his religion among you should know that Allah will soon bring a people whom Allah loves, and they love Allah – humble towards the believers, honourable and stern towards the disbelievers; striving in the way of Allah, and not fearing from the blame of any critic. That is the grace (lutf) of Allah, gives to whom Allah wills. Allah is All-Bounteous, and All-Knowing.”

Time Stamp: 5:00

“Your only ally is Allah,” don’t forget this!

Says, “إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللّهُ”. It means: “Your only ally is Almighty Allah.” Says, “وَرَسُولُهُ” – “and Allah’s Messenger Prophet Muhammad.” Says, “وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ” – “and the believers.” Says, “الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاَةَ” – “and those who believe perform their namāz (prayer) sincerely and with pleasure. Says, “وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ” – “and they give their zakat (poor-dues).” Says, “وَهُمْ رَاكِعُونَ” – “and they are those who do rukū, bow down to Allah.”

The believers are those who rise against tyranny (zulm), who rise against the tyrants of the world, and those who bow down to Allah.

“Whoever takes Allah, the Messenger, and the believers as an ally should know well that those who side with Allah shall be the victorious.

Pay attention!

The hodja is reciting the 56th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Those who shall be victorious are those who take Allah as an ally, those who take the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad Mustafa as an ally, and those who take the believers as an ally. They are those who are on Allah’s side, and they are the victorious.

The hodja is reciting the 57th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Janâb-i Haqq says: “O, you who believe! Do not take those who take your religion in ridicule and play, from among those who were given the book before you, and the faithless, as friends.”

See, the religion is the laws of Allah. Can you befriend those who take this in ridicule and play?

“If you truly believe, then fear Allah as due.”

Protect yourselves from the punishment of Allah, and be wary.

Now, Janâb-i Mawla said:

The hodja is reciting the 58th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

What did Janâb-i Haqq say here?

“When you call to namāz (prayer), they take it in ridicule and fun. That is because they are people who don’t use their aql (reason).”

See, whoever takes namāz (prayer), or āzan (call to prayer) in ridicule are those who are foolish, and that is the completely backward mentality.

The hodja is reciting the 59th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Janâb-i Haqq says the following in this verse of the Quran.

“Say, ‘O, People of the Book! Do you not like us because we believe in Allah, and what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down before us? Yet most of you are astray.”

Janâb-i Haqq addresses the Jews and the Christians here. Says that the Muslims believe in all previous Books and Prophets. Says, “Is this why you resent the Muslims? Is this why you don’t like them?” Allah warns them, and reminds them of the true faith (iman).

Moreover, Janâb-i Haqq said the following.

Time Stamp: 10:00

The hodja is reciting the 60th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let us see what is said in the 60th verse.

“Say, ‘Shall I inform you of something worse than that as a requital from Allah? Those whom Allah has cursed, and those who incurred Allah’s wrath, turned some of them into apes and pigs, and worshipers of the Shaitan. Their situation is worse, and they are more astray from the straight path of Allah.”

You see, our dearest friends!

There are such crimes that lead to more trouble than anticipated. Some have been visited by Allah’s curse, and some were turned into apes, some were turned into swine, and some started worshippers of the Shaitan. Denying the Real (al-Haqq) means purchasing various disasters. One will go from disaster to disaster, and cannot save himself from being an ape or swine, and from there they gradually go down towards the Shaitan. This degradation is called daraka, which means demotion and it goes downwards.

So, what causes these? Not listening to, disbelieving, and denying Allah’s commands and laws causes these. Islam is not our laws. Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam are the laws and rules that Allah brought forth. It is not like you are denying an Arab or a Turk by denying it. You are denying Allah and the Messenger. You are not denying the East or the West. You do not worship the East, the West, or something else! Rather, you worship Almighty Allah. Allah the One has sent down the Quran, and gave the duty to Prophet Muhammad. So, get your head together.

The hodja is reciting the 61st verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Now, let’s see what Janâb-i Haqq said in the 61st verse.

“When they come to you, they say, ‘We have believed. However, they entered among you as disbelievers (kāfir), and went out as disbelievers (kāfir).”

Allah knows best people’s hearts, and the hypocrites, and the polytheists, and whatever is in every heart.

“Allah knows best what they concealed.”

Says , “آمَنَّا وَصَدَّقْنَ” – “There cannot be anything that Allah doesn’t know.”

That is why dearest friends! Janâb-i Haqq said the following.

The hodja is reciting the 62nd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Says, “And you see many of them hastening into the sin, and the enmity, and eating the haram.”

Do you see? They are racing in committing sin, enmity, and eating the haram.

“Surely, evil is what they were doing.”

Janâb-i Haqq has said these things.

The hodja is reciting the 63rd and 64th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Time Stamp: 15:10

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says here: “Why don’t the true godly people and religious scholars forbid them from saying something sinful and eating something haram? Surely, evil is what they used to do.”

Janâb-i Haqq calls godly people and religious scholars to the duty, and tells them to forbid mankind from evil.

“The Jews said, ‘The hand of Allah is too tight.’.” Never! “And chained their hands, and they have been cursed for what they said. No! These words, sacred words, belong to Allah, for Allah says these.

“Rather, Allah’s hands are wide open, and gives how Allah wills. Surely what has been sent down from your Rabb to you increases their rebellion and disbelief (kufr). We have cast among them an enmity and hatred till the Last Day. Whenever they kindled the fire of the war, it was extinguished by Allah. They strive on the earth, spreading corruption. Indeed, Allah does not love the corrupters.”

You see, Allah reads the souls and narrates them to people. Allah has narrated the soul of the Jew. Al-Quran Al-Karim reads to you the souls that rise against the Torah, rise against Musa (Moses), rise against Isa (Jesus) and the Bible, that don’t listen to the Quran and deny it. That is, Almighty Allah explains them to you. Don’t you ever become like them! Or you will also be turned into apes and swine, and you’ll start worshipping the Shaitan, your own soul (nafs), or something else and you will not even be aware. That is why Almighty Allah warns you through the Glorious Quran.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 190

On the 65th to 67th verses of Surah Al-Maidah [5].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Sacred verses of our Almighty Rabb continue to give life, and we continue to narrate them to you.

Dearest friends!

The hodja is reciting the 65th and 66th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says in these verses of the Quran.

“Had the People of the Book believed and feared Allah duly, then surely We would have covered their evil-doings, and surely We would have admitted them to gardens whose bounty (nimat) is plenty.”

O, the Jew and the Christian! Allah calls you to Janna (Paradise), and says, “Become a Muslim and come.”

Says that had they believed and protected themselves as due, but from what? That is, from polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), corruption (nifaq), and other types of evil. Had they implemented the Torah and the Injil, and what was sent down to them from their Rabb, then surely, they would have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet. That said, there is a moderate community among them, but many of them – evil is what they do!” That is what Janâb-i Haqq said.

See, our life-giving lesson with the life-giving Al-Quran Al-Karim continues.

Dearest friends!

The hodja is reciting the 67th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq said here.

O, glorious Messenger! O, Prophet Muhammad! Alaihissalatu wassalam!

“O, Messenger! Spread what has been revealed to you from your Rabb!”

That is, explain Islam and the Quran to the world thoroughly.

“If you don’t do, then you will not have fulfilled your duty of prophethood.”

That is, you would not have fulfilled the duty Allah gave to you.

“Allah will protect you from the people.”

You see, there is a great news here.

It is stated that from then on Muhammad is under complete protection of Allah.

“Indeed, Allah does not guide disbelieving people to the straight path.”

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 191

On the 51st to 61st and 68th to 75th verses of Surah Al-Maidah [5].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The hodja is reciting the 51st and 52nd verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“O, believers! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies.” You Muslims are friends of the entire universe, but there are those who are not friendly towards you, know this, “they are allies of each other.”

“Whoever among you takes them as allies becomes one of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing (zalimun) lot to the straight path.”

You see those in whose hearts is a disease, they hasten to them by saying, ‘We fear that a disaster may strike us.’ But perhaps Allah will bring a conquest or a command (work) from Allah, so that they may be regretful for what they had concealed.

Those with a disease in their hearts enter among those who are enemies of Islam, and become friends with forces that are against Islam through many excuses. Yet they are not allies of Islam, but Muslims are allies of the entire universe and all people. That said, Al-Quran Al-Karim warns us about those who are not friendly.

The hodja is reciting the 53rd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Now, this verse of the Quran says: “O, you who believe! Are these those who swore by Allah a solemn oath that they were with you? All their deeds have gone in vain, and they have become among the losers.”

Janâb-i Haqq said the following as well.

The hodja is reciting the 54th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“O, you who believe! Whoever turns back among you from his religion,” well the only religion, and the real or haqq religion is the religion of Islam. “Whoever turns back from it should now that soon a people will be brought by Allah whom Allah loves, and they love Allah. They are humble towards the believers and honourable and stern towards the disbelievers (kāfir). They strive in the way of Allah, and don’t fear the blame of any critic. This is a grace (lutf) of Allah, and gives it to whom Allah wills. Allah is indeed bounteous, and all-knowing.”

You see, dearest friends! Almighty Rabb speaks the truths.

The hodja is reciting the 55th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Time Stamp: 5:10

Janâb-i Haqq said, “Your only ally is Allah, the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad), and the believers who perform their namāz (prayer), give their zakat (poor-dues), and bow down (rukū).

You see, Janâb-i Haqq informs us about the real ally. The real ally is Allah, the Messenger, and the true believers.

The hodja is reciting the 56th and 57th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Janâb-i Haqq says the following in these verses: “Whoever takes Allah, the Messenger of Allah, and the believers as an ally – (should know well that), the party of Allah will be victorious.”

You see, these are the people who are on Allah’s side. Those who are not on Allah’s side are on the side of polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), and the Iblis.

“O, you who believe! Do not take those who take your religion in ridicule and fun, from those who are given the Book from before you, and the disbelievers (kāfir), as allies. If you truly believe, then fear Allah duly.”

See, Janâb-i Haqq announces the truths here as well.

The hodja is reciting the 58th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].,

“When you call them for the namāz (prayer), they take it in ridicule and fun. This is because they are a people who don’t use their aql (reason).”

Can one make fun of Allah’s command, or belittle it? Whoever does that oversteps the bounds of the religion and faith.

That said, Janâb-i Haqq says:

The hodja is reciting the 59th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“Say, ‘O, People of the Book! Do you not like us because we only believe in Allah, what was sent down to us, and what was sent down before us? Yet many of you have gone astray from the way.”

Janâb-i Haqq instructed him to say that to them.

Janâb-i Haqq also said the following.

The hodja is reciting the 60th and 61st verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says in this verse of the Quran.

“Say, ‘Shall I inform you of something worse than these as a requital from Allah? Those whom Allah has cursed and those who incurred Allah’s wrath, and those whom Allah turned into apes and swine, and worshippers of shaitan. Their position is much worse, and they are more astray from the straight path.”

“When they come to you, they say, ‘We have believed.’ Whereas they entered as disbelievers (kāfirs), and went out as disbelievers (kāfirs). Allah knows best what they conceal.”

Time Stamp: 10:27

You see, our dearest friends!

Al-Quran Al-Karim has been explaining all truths in length and breath. That’s why we need to comprehend it very well and find life. We need to find the truth, shield ourselves from the wrongs, and after that find the real life.

The hodja is reciting the 68th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let’s see what Janâb-i Haqq said in this verse of the Quran.

“Say, ‘O, People of the Book! You are not on anything until you observe the Torah, the Bible, and what was sent down to you from your Rabb.”

You see, Janâb-i Haqq calls to the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran.

“Surely, what was sent down to you will increase the rebellion and denial of many.”

Allah said that to Prophet Muhammad.

O, the glorious Prophet! What was sent down to you will increase the rebellion and denial of many of them.

Says, “So, do not grieve over the disbelieving people.”

See, Allah had said that to Musa (a.s.), “Don’t grieve for these flagrant sinners (fāsiq),” said Allah.

“Indeed, those who believed and those whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day among the Jews, the Sabians, and the Christians, and if they do good deeds, then there is no fear for them, and they will not grieve.

You see, Janâb-i Haqq shows the truth here as well.

Janâb-i Haqq says the following next.

The hodja is reciting the 69th and 70th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Janâb-i Haqq said the following in this verse of the Quran.

“Certainly, We took a covenant from Bani Isra’il, and we sent Messengers to them. Whenever a Messenger brought them something their souls did not desire, some of them denied and some of them killed.”

See, Al-Quran Al-Karim narrates you the souls that betrayed the Torah, betrayed Musa (Moses), murdered Prophets; narrates you the soul of the Jew. It does not talk about those who believed in the Torah, Musa (Moses), and other Prophets. It does not talk about the Jews who became true Muslims. Rather it talks about the Jews who massacred the Prophets. See, the same mentality that wanted to kill Prophet Muhammad has been shedding blood ever since.

Janâb-i Haqq said the following.

The hodja is reciting the 71th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Time Stamp: 15:05

Janâb-i Haqq says the following in this verse of the Quran.

“They thought that there won’t be a fitna (trial) for them, so they became blind and deaf. Then, Allah accepted their repentance, but many of them still became blind and deaf. Allah sees what they do.”

Dearest friends!

Janâb-i Haqq gives a respite, and then strikes in such a way that the person finds himself in Jahannam (Hell).

The hodja is reciting the 72nd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Janâb-i Haqq said the following in the 72nd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

“Certainly,” and Allah swears here, and says, “those who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Maryam,’ have become disbelievers (kāfirs).”

Says, “they have disbelievers (kāfirs),” to those who say, ‘Son of Maryam, Isa (Jesus) is Allah,’ and those who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Maryam. Who said it? Allah Ta’ala said it in this verse of the Quran.

“Whereas the Messiah,” which is Isa (Jesus), had said them, “O, Children of Israel! Worship Allah, who is my Rabb and your Rabb. Whoever associates partners to Allah, then indeed Allah has made Janna (Paradise) haram to them, and his abode will be the Fire. And there aren’t any helpers for the wrongdoers.”

See, what did those who call Isa (Jesus) as Allah do? They did the opposite of what Isa (Jesus) said. Those who say Isa (Jesus) is the son of Allah did the opposite of what Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), the Bible, and the Torah said, and they became disbelievers (kāfirs), and polytheists (mushrikun).

“The third of the trinity.”

Those who say Allah is three have done the opposite of what Isa (a.s.) said. In the end, Almighty Allah clearly states that those who call Isa (Jesus) Allah are disbelievers (kāfirs). That is not the way of Isa. Isa had said that he was a servant (qul) of Allah. He had said,” Allah is my Rabb, and your Rabb,” to the Children of Israel. Said, “We shall all be servants (qul) of Allah, and worship Allah.”

Such a pity that some of them went the opposite way to ifrat (too much). And what did others do? They wanted to murder Isa. You see, some of them worshipped Isa by calling him Allah, while the others want to kill Isa. They were both people of Israel.

Dearest friends!

What befalls us is to be able to convey the utterances (kalam) of Almighty Allah correctly.

The hodja is reciting a part of the 73rd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

What did Janâb-i Haqq say in this verse of the Quran?

Said that those who say third of the trinity have become disbelievers (kāfirs). Janâb-i Haqq said that by swearing upon it. Allah is not a third person of a trinity. Allah is not of three parts. Allah is not the third person of a trinity, rather Allah is One.

The hodja is reciting a part of the 73rd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

There is no god but Allah. Allah is the god who is One. There is only Allah who is One, there aren’t any other gods.

The hodja is reciting a part of the 73rd verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Let’s see what Janâb-i Haqq says in the 73rd verse.

“Those who said, ‘Allah is the third person of a trinity,’ has certainly become disbelievers (kāfirs).”

See, they also became disbelievers (kāfirs).

“There is no god except the One God. If they don’t desist from what they are saying, surely a painful punishment will afflict those who disbelieved among them.”

See, the situation about the Christians and the Jews is clear.

Dearest friends!

This is what they said to their own Prophet. Do you see how they betrayed their own Book? They did the opposite of what their Prophet said. This is obvious as they deny Prophet Muhammad and Al-Quran Al-Karim. But of course, we are addressing those who disbelieve. There is also a countless number of people who became Muslims and found guidance.

Janâb-i Haqq clearly states that a painful punishment will afflict them, that Janna (Paradise) is made haram for them, and that they will enter the Jahannam (Hell). It is necessary to desist from polytheism (shirk). It is necessary to acknowledge the unity of Allah, the prophethood of Isa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), Muhammad, and all other Prophets, along with Al-Quran Al-Karim, the Bible, the Torah, and all holy books. That said, it is necessary to abide by the sharia (law) of Islam which renewed all of them.

After announcing that, Janâb-i Haqq also says the following.

The hodja is reciting the 74th and 75th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Do you see how Al-Quran Al-Karim protects Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses), and how it shields them? Do you see how it shields our mother, Maryam? What is said here?

The hodja is reciting the 75th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Janâb-i Haqq says the following in these verses of the Quran.

“Do the still not turn in repentance to Allah and seek Allah’s forgiveness? Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Allah calls all Christians and Jews to the unity of Allah, prophethood of Muhammad, and prophethood of Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses). Allah calls to Allah’s unity. Al-Quran Al-Karim bears witness to the past, and calls to the reality (haqiqa).

“The Messiah,” which is Isa (a.s.), “is but a Messenger. There have passed other Messengers before him as well. His mother was a truthful woman.”

See, our mother, Maryam, was not an unchaste woman like the Jews and Israelites claimed. Our mother, Maryam was a truly chaste woman. And she is Batool. That is, Maryam is Batool. Therefore, she is a truly chaste and honourable woman.

“They both used to eat food.”

See, it is said that her Isa (a.s.) and his mother would eat and drink, because they are servants (qul). The servants (qul) of Allah eat and drink. Isa (a.s.) was a kid, what would he do? He would wet himself, because he was a human being like other humans, the only difference is that he was a Messenger.

Also, he is fatherless just like Adam (a.s.), but Adam (a.s.) had no father and no mother. Allah creates as Allah wills. Allah says, “be – kun (كن),” and “it happens – fa yakun (فَيَكُونُ).” Whatever Allah wills to create is created when Allah says “be – kun (كن).”

Allah is the creator, and knows all types of creation.

Have a look at this universe, various live and inanimate creatures were created. As the creator knew all methods of creation, the creator created various living creatures as males and females. Created all of these, the entire universe, and everything from nothing.

Isa (Jesus) is one of the servants (qul) of Allah who was created. He was an honourable and valuable servant (qul), a Prophet. He was just like the other Prophets. He came to give good news of Prophet Muhammad. That’s why Prophet Muhammad is the prayer (dua) of Ibrahim (a.s.), dream of his mother, and he is the Prophet whom Isa (a.s.) heralded. That is, he is the good news brought by Isa (Jesus).

So, if you believe in Isa (Jesus), and what Isa (Jesus) brought, then Isa had heralded Prophet Muhammad, and the Bible gave the good news. If you truly believe in Isa (Jesus), then you will not deny Prophet Muhammad and Al-Quran Al-Karim. If you believe in the Bible correctly, then there is no way or possibility that you will deny Prophet Muhammad. See, those who knew the true Bible knew Prophet Muhammad as they knew their own sons. If you give right meanings to the Bible and if you are able to read the real and undistorted Bible, then the truths are out there in it.

Allah had sent down a single Bible, not many. They chose four Bibles among many, and they forced people to accept it by imposition. Where is the Bible that was sent down by Allah? See, it is in Al-Quran Al-Karim. The real Torah is also in Al-Quran Al-Karim because Al-Quran Al-Karim renewed the past, and it bears witness to the past. The Quran is Allah’s Book. Does it know the past? Yes, it knows. Does it know the future? Yes, it knows. So, the past and the future have been placed into Al-Quran al-Karim, along with the proofs of the future. Whether you believe or not, we are obliged to speak the truths! We don’t have any endeavour to force people to believe. We shall only speak the truth. This is our obligation, and the duty that Allah gave us. We are all servants (qul) of Allah, and we try to help each other as best as we can. We are obliged to say the truth, for now we are living on earth, but tomorrow we will all be in our graves, and then we will stand up and go to Allah, and we will answer to Allah. We shall stand up from our graves and to go the gathering (mahshar). We will be brought to the book in the Greater court. Should we not prepare in the best possible way for the Greater Court where we will be brought to the book? Should we not live the truth, and believe in the truth? Should we not have a true faith (iman), and be realistic?

If you claim nobody can kill you or create you, then prepare your guns and missiles and stand against Azrail (a.s.)? Moreover, if you have brave armies, then bring them as well, and let them come and save you, which is not possible.

So, get your head together! One can’t stand against Allah. Let us know Isa, Musa, Muhammad, and all truths correctly, which is the point.

Now, we shall continue to explain you these life-giving life lessons on these verses of the Quran and explanatory discovery notes regarding them, along with narrations (riwayat) and their comprehension (dirayat). May Janâb-i Haqq make us all find life.
