Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 215

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Beloved friends!

On one hand, we should understand Islam right, and follow the line of Ahlus-Sunnah, be wary of ahlul bid’ah (deviant innovators), and on the other hand we should continue making discoveries in the universe, and these are all for the better good of humanity. These are good for every person, every believer, and every Muslim. These are good for humanity because the truths must be protected at all times, and truths and realities must always be presented to people, and people should protect themselves from wrongs. Some people are nourished by wrongs. See, everyone should be nourished by truths but some people are nourished by wrongs, and those who do that are trying to resurrect the wrongs. That is why Muslims should be sensitive with regards to matters that don’t suit Ahlus-Sunnah. There is an approach that reflects views of a multipartite and multi-coloured structure that include figures like Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim, Efganî, Abdul Resid Riza, eş-Şevkânî, el-Kannevcî, Şah Veliyyullah. What I will recommend about them is that their rights are our rights but among them there have been views that don’t suit Ahlus-Sunnah. Regarding their views that don’t suit Ahlus-Sunnah, we leave them to them. However, Ahlus-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah is not obliged to abide by their views that don’t suit Ahlus-Sunnah. That is why nobody should try to impose their own situation upon anyone. Everybody should search the truth and truths shall be lived. The way of Ahlus-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah is a firm way. Apart from it, the number of ways of ahlul bid’ah (deviant innovators) and dalalah (misguidance) is also numerous, but there are also right things among ahlul bid’ah (deviant innovators). No matter where it is, all truths are ours. As for the wrongs, especially the ones said in the name of religion such as the ones that Ahlus-Sunnah rejected which don’t suit the apparent (zahiri) or hidden (bâtini) meanings of the Quran; each of those wrongs belong to their owners, and with you cannot give legal opinion (fatwa) to anyone.

See, that is why Muslims should preserve unity, integrity, and brotherhood. Holy Quran and Holy Islam emphasises that a lot. If the unity of Islam becomes a unity of truth (haqq), faith (iman), and strength, then it is for the better good of the world. That way, peace is established on earth easily, and justice is implemented because Islam is nothing but peace, justice, right, reality, and divine justice. This peace is Islam itself from a to z. It is divine peace and divine laws, therefore divine justice. It is a divine mercy that loves all people. Islam, which is endless and boundless, is also love. Depriving people from it… Depriving people from Islam and blocking the way of mankind that leads to Islam is not for the benefit of mankind. Besides, as Al-Quran Al-Karim said, it is the greatest evil against mankind. We should not forget this!

Time Stamp: 5:00

For Islam calls all humanity to Allah. It calls to Allah’s beginningless (azali) and endless (abadi) mercy. Nobody should try to block this ever! Those who do should think about what will befall on them because each sin is like a bomb that shall explode in person’s brain. For example, polytheism (shirk) is a bomb that explodes. Disbelief (kufr) and cruelty (zulm) are bombs that explode, and you will be ruined. Polytheism upon polytheism, disbelief upon disbelief… It is like people have sat upon bombs upon bombs, and it is obvious they will explode. All sin and cruelty (zulm) are like that, some are set to explode a bit later. But, what did Janâb-i Haqq do in return of every sin? Janâb-i Haqq prepared its punishment. That is, you may commit many sins and think you got away with it, but they all are set to explode someday. They will explode, and polytheism, sin, and cruelty will ruin its owner. Don’t forget it!

The world, grave, and mahshar (gathering) is like that, don’t you ever forget it. These are expressions on the truth. Why would you revolt against Allah while there is bliss in obedience to Allah? Get your mind together!

See, a revered figure who calls people to unity says the following:

Is iman not one in our eyes?

Joy is one, pain is one, goal is one, heart is one,

Is it not with the Cherkes, the Laz, and the Turk?

Today’s unity is eternal with Arab and Kurd.

The heart that beats, is it not one in all… Undaunted!

Be sure, this front won’t shake if the universe fell apart.

See how it falls piece by piece, without tearing it…

The cunun-i beser that attacks to choke the huda.

How the doubt clashes with the light of truth,

The end becomes forgotten with şerare-i gayret.

What we see shall be gathered in the Mahshar.

Soon shall be saved this front…

Shall be saved…

It means, kıble-gâh-ı amalim shall not crumble down.

It means we are not dying.

Come, let us go friend!

Peace of mankind is in that unity. Islam is the mercy that embraces all humanity. Those who represent Islam in any other way are the ones who couldn’t get rid of the wrongs in their brains. Understand Islam well, and study it well! Discover it well, from a to z, without prejudice, without ulterior motive! Approach to Allah’s book and Allah’s sacred religion Islam sincerely, and then ask for guidance (hidayat) from Allah.

That is why the world is not even an atom compared to ten billion light years of physical universe. This is what has been discovered until today. The greatest earning is the pleasure (riza) of the Divine. He who earned it has earned everything. O, my dear friend! He who earns the pleasure (riza) of Allah has earned everything. How can you earn Allah’s pleasure (riza)? You can earn it by believing the way Allah said, “believe.” You may also do good deeds the way Allah said. See, Allah said Prophet Muhammad is an example for us. Islam and pleasure (riza) of Allah has been fully implemented and substantiated on earth. If you know and live Islam the way it foresaw, then Allah’s pleasure (riza) is there. He who earns Allah’s pleasure (riza) has earned everything. He who loses it has lost everything. Don’t say you haven’t heard.

Time Stamp: 10:58

Some people among Malikites and Rabis said, “Alcohol is spiritually necis (dirty).”

O Divine! Make me ‚arif billah (knower of Allah).

My heart is a light that shines in the divan of truth.

‚Arif billah rotates with love and divine muhabbat.

My heart is a light that shines in the divan of truth.

Dear friends,

Regardless of what anyone says, when we study Al-Quran Al-Karim we see that it calls certain things “necis – dirty.” So, if Al-Quran Al-Karim calls something necis (dirty), then it is necis (dirty) because Allah has said it. Now, when we look at it from here, Janâb-i Haqq made certain things haram (sinful). See, Allah forbade them to us servants (qul), and called them haram (sinful). Even if you discover five hundred harmful things about harams (sinful things), there will be more aspects that are harmful which you couldn’t discover. That is why you should at least have as much knowledge as Allah (never!) in order to obtain the full knowledge Allah brought forth, and as nobody can afford that you should follow Allah’s word. Know that what Allah calls haram (sinful) as haram (sinful), harmful as harmful, and halal (lawful) as lawful). Do not disturb the peace, you will lose. Don’t say anyone told you this, you will lose.

That said, Abu Hayyan and Al-Zamakhsharī are sceptical. They said the sincerity (ihlas) that is claimed is their own words. That is, Abu Hayyan and Al-Zamakhsharī drew attention to the situations those who wanted a table from Isa (Jesus) and said that a table should be sent down from the sky so pray to your Rabb (Lord). These are some of the greatest Islamic scholars (âlims), and they are grand figures in the Islamic world. They are also explorers of Al-Quran Al-Karim. That is why they said that. See, if the Disciples had no doubt, then they would not have put a burden on Isa (Jesus) like that. They would have seen the table in the universe, and would not have said, “Send down a separate table for us from the heavens,” they say.

That is why we pray Janâb-i Haqq to make the Islamic world and humanity become people of true faith (iman) who carry the sacred faith of Islam in their bosom, and make us people who turn the truth they believe into good deeds, good morals, love, and mercy, and make us people who work for the better good of humanity, who attain the pleasure (riza) of Allah, who arrive at wuslat – ultimate union. We have tried to make short but to the point discovery of the verses of Surah al-Maidah, and give notes regarding them.

Time Stamp: 15:00

Now, insha ‘Allah we will continue on our lecture in the following videos with the life-giving discovery notes and verses of Surah al-An’am [6]. May Janâb-i Haqq make us all drink from this fountain of life until we are full, make us find life, and make us enlighten by the life-giving light.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 216

On the 1st to 18th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Dear friends,

Our lectures on life-giving nūr (light) continue. The life giving nūr (light) itself is Al-Quran Al-Karim, and Islam. See, it is Almighty Allah who made it shine through Muhammad’s heart. That is why we are at Surah al-An’am [6] right now. This sacred surah has been sent down in Mecca Period, and it is a holy surah that incorporates 165 verses. We are at Surah al-An’am [6]. This surah, as narrated by Ibn-i Abbas, has been celebrated by 70 thousand angels. Such a festival, it was as if it was sent down with a ceremony. This surah was sent down to our Prophet with 50 thousand angels, Jibril (a.s.) had besieged the heavens with an army, and it is said that the sky was clouded with them.

It is said that this surah was revealed to our Prophet. That night, our Prophet gathered all the clerks and made them write. Now, this is said about the surah except for 6 verses. These verses are the 151st verse, 91st verse, 21st verse, 93rd verse, 114th verse, and also 20th verse; it is narrated that these were revealed later. But of course, there are narrators and narrations that suggest the 151st and 153rd verses were revealed in Madinah. Also, there are other views regarding the 98th verse and other qira’ats (recitation). See, there are different narrations from our qira’at imams with regards to the 92nd and 145th verses.

Moreover, the contents of this sacred surah have extinguished polytheism (shirk). It brought absolute evidence against polytheism (shirk), and it is one of the surahs that contains absolute proofs in the full sense of the world. That is why this surah, just like others surahs and verses, should be comprehended, understood, and brought to life with every fibre of our being. It should shine with the life-giving light for it is not possible for a person to find life without destroying polytheism (shirk), and removing wrongs from his spiritual and physical world. Islam equips a person with light (nūr), monotheism (tawhid), knowledge (ilm), wisdom (irfan), and sacred values regarding servants (qul). It detaches wrongs from you, and prepares you for a most blissful life.

Astaizu billah.

Let us see what our Rabb (Lord) says.

The hodja recites the 1st and 2nd verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Janâb-i Haqq says, “Thanks and praise.”

“Azali and abadi all sacred praises, all praises that have ever been uttered and will be uttered belong to Allah who created the heavens and the earth and made darkness and light.”

See, praise belongs to Allah who created heavens and earth, darkness and light. It is said that hamd-u-sena (thanks and praises) and all praise belongs to Allah entirely.

Time Stamp: 6:15

Even though it’s like that, the disbelievers still hold others equal to their Rabb (Lord). There is no other creator; can Allah who is ascribed with these sacred qualities/sifats have an equal? Allah is One. Allah does not have partners, overseers, equals, or viziers. Allah does not have comparables or equals. That is why Janâb-i Haqq is One in all qualities/sifats, all names, in terms of being the Creator, and everything else. All worlds are in Allah’s rulership. Allah is One, and has no partners, equals, overseer, helpers, or viziers.

“It is Allah who created you from clay and then decreed a term (ajal). The term (ajal) that is specified (Last Day) is with Allah, yet you doubt.”

Says, “ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ”. Can you doubt it? There is no doubt in the face of this holy omnipotence (qudrah).

The hodja recites the 3rd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Allah is One in the heavens and in the earth. Allah knows your secret and overt matters, and Allah truly knows what you earn.

The hodja recites the 4th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“No sign comes to them from the sign of their Rabb (Lord), but they are turning away from it.”

There are people whose brains and hearts have been charred, and deny every time an ayat (sign/verse) comes. May Allah not make us among them.

O servants (qul) of Allah who say they are human beings! Get your minds together! Understand this Al-Quran Al-Karim well, listen to it well; believe in it and abide by it according to its decree, or you will ruin yourselves!

Let us not ruin ourselves, we are all united. We are all servants (qul) of Allah. We are all children of Adam, let us not forget this! We are servants (qul) created by Allah; we should surrender to Allah. You will surrender to Allah when you surrender to every command of Al-Quran Al-Karim. Only then will you have surrendered to Allah. Otherwise, the Quran which is Allah’s own words are Allah’s own laws and utterances (kalam). Do not even have second thoughts about any of them, not even one of them. Don’t you ever deny not even one of them because denying them partially is equal to denying it as a whole. Your faith (iman) will go away, and it will be a pity. That is why we should run towards Allah’s mercy and blessing (rahmat) rather than wrath and punishment. Islam is nothing but Allah’s rahmat (mercy/blessing), forgiveness, and mercy. It is Allah’s beginningless (azali) and endless (abadi) bounties (lutf). Islam is the life-giving nūr (light), don’t forget this and be happy, find life, and be enlightened with it! See, the nūr (light) that luminates all eras, heavens, arsh (the ninth heaven) and beyond, souls and hearts is the nūr (light) of Islam and the Quran, which is the nūr (light) of Muhammad. That said, it is Almighty Allah who created all of it.

Time Stamp: 10:58

The hodja recites the 5th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“But they denied the truth when it came to them. But soon, news of what they used to mock at it will come to them.”

Every command of Allah Ta’ala is sacred. There is not a single command in Islam to mock. You cannot even find a single word or even a single dot that you can mock in Islam. Islam is divine and holy because it is an order that Allah established.

The hodja recites the 6th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Now, what does Almighty Rabb (Lord) says here? “Did they not see how many generations We destroyed before them? We had given means on earth that We did not give to you. We had sent abundant rains for them from the sky, and made rivers flow from underneath them but We destroyed them for their sins, and We created another generation after them,” says Janâb-i Haqq.

My dear friend, Janâb-i Haqq says the following next.

The hodja recites the 7th and 8th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Beloved friends!

Janâb-i Haqq says, “Even if We had sent down a written Scripture to you in parchment and they held it with their hands; those who disbelieved would have surely said, ‘This is nothing but plain magic.’.” “And they said, ‘Why has not been sent down to him an Angel?’ The matter would surely be decided had We sent down him an angel, and then they would not be granted any respite.

The hodja recites the 9th, 10th, and 11th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Had we made the Prophet an Angel, We would have still made him in the shape of a man, and We would have made them fall into the doubt they fell before.”

“Surely, the Prophets before you were mocked as well. Then those who mocked them were besieged by what they used to deride. Say, ‘Travel in the world and see how the end of the rejecters was.’.”

Time Stamp: 15:22

So, what did Janâb-i Haqq do to those who don’t accept Allah’s own laws and order? Allah warned them, and gave them an ultimatum. Said, “There have been so many people who denied Our laws, commands, books, and prophets. We destroyed them for their sins.” O, mankind! Those who live in the eras of Muhammad for 14 centuries. See, the last 14 centuries have been centuries of Muhammad. All eras until the Last Day are Muhammad’s eras. All nations are Muhammad’s people (ummah), they are his nations. All believers and non-believers, all humanity is people (ummah) of Muhammad. That is why Janâb-i Haqq says that everyone should get their heads straight! Says, “The disasters that visited the nations before you who were destroyed should not befall on you. Allah has sent Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad as bringer of good news (beşīr) and warner (nezīr). Allah sent glad tidings and also warned us of dangers. Allah warned about every matter. Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad will warn all humanity until the Last Day (Qiyamah), and also brings good news for those who are good with endless and boundless bounties (lutf) of Allah.

The hodja recites the 12th and 13th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Dear friends!

Janâb-i Haqq says, “Say, ‘To whom belongs what is in the heavens and in the earth?’ Say, ‘To Allah.’ Allah has decreed upon Allah’s Being (Nafs) to be Merciful.’ Surely, Allah will gather you on the Last Day (Qiyamah) about whose existence there is no doubt. Those who have put themselves in loss do not believe.’.”

Woe to those who do not believe!

“Whatever dwells in the night and the day belongs to Allah, who is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Who makes all creatures hear what they hear? Allah the All-Hearing has given us a sense of hearing. Allah, who is all-seeing of everything ever existed and will exist, gave us the ability to see, and gave us so many other things as well. Let us look and see what has been given to us. Just take a look. Let us look and see! Let us think!

Almighty Rabb (Lord) says the following next.

The hodja recites the 14th, 15th, and 16th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Beloved friend!

Almighty Rabb (Lord) says, “Say, ‘Should I take someone other than Allah as protector, the creator of heavens and the earth, who feeds and is not fed?’.”

O, My beloved Muhammad Mustafa! Say the following to them:

“Say, ‘I have been commanded to be the first one to submit to Allah, and not be among those who ascribe partners to Allah.’.”

O the Glorious Muhammad (asw)! Explain this Al-Quran Al-Karim well. O, people (ummah) of Muhammad!

“Say, ‘If I revolt against my Rabb (Lord), then I fear the punishment of a Mighty Day. Whoever is spared from punishment on that Day, Allah has been merciful to him, and this is the manifest salvation.”

My dear friend! Janâb-i Haqq says the following.

The hodja recites the 17th and 18th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

“If Allah touches you with an affliction, then nobody can remove it except Allah.”

Is there anybody else that can remove that loss from you? No, there is not.

“And if Allah touches you with good (khayr), then indeed Allah is All-Able. Allah is all-dominant over the servants (qul). Allah is the All-Wise, the All-Aware.” Allah is aware of everything.

–          The End        –

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 217

On the 19th to 24th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The hodja recites the 19th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Almighty Rabb (Lord) says the following. O My glorious beloved Muhammad! O those who know Al-Quran Al-Karim well! Tell people about the Quran and say, “What thing is greatest as a testimony?” “Say, ‘Allah is witness between me and you, and this Quran has been revealed to me that I may warn you with it and whomever it may reach after you.” So, who said all that? Janâb-i Haqq said it to Prophet Muhammad. “Do you truly bear witness that there are other gods with Allah?” “Say, ‘I do not bear witness to that.’ Say, ‘There is no god but Allah. Allah is but the One God. There is no god but Allah. I am indeed free of what you associate with Allah.’.”

Islamic faith (iman) is monotheism (tawhid iman), and it is a faith (iman) that is based on the unity of Allah. Allah is One in regards to everything about Allah. Don’t you ever think otherwise, for those who accept other gods are the evillest slanderers against Allah. There is no other god, all creatures are creations of Allah. They have been created by Allah, and they are all creatures (makhluq). The only al-Khalq (Creator) is Allah, and others are created beings (makhluq). Can there be a god from a creature (makhluq)?

The hodja recites the 20th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Those to whom we have given them the Book,” meaning the Jews and the Christians, “they recognize him,” the Prophet, meaning Prophet Muhammad, “as they recognize their own sons.”

But how did they know? It was written in the Torah, and in the Bible. Those books had informed of Prophet Muhammad. So, what is said here? It is said that they knew Prophet Muhammad as they knew their own sons.

“Those who have ruined themselves! They do not believe.”

And then they started denying the Muhammad whom Isa (Jesus) in the Bible and Musa (Moses) in the Torah have heralded. What does Allah say to them? Says, “Those who have ruined themselves!” Those who are at a loss. Says, “They do not believe.”

O humanity, don’t ruin yourself. Allah bears witness to the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad because Allah (c.c.) has sent him. Allah sent him as a mercy (rahmat) upon the universe. Why do you deprive yourself from this mercy (rahmat)? Why do you deny? See, when you deny the Quran and Prophet Muhammad, you deny the Torah and the Bible, along with Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses).

Time Stamp: 5:00

Why? Because Muhammad is written in the Bible and the Torah, and you knew him as you knew your own son. He was mentioned in the Torah. Why do you deny now? Don’t do that! You are ruining yourself.

Who says these? Almighty Allah says it. Says, “Those who ruin themselves do not believe.” They are at a loss.

That is why Janâb-i Haqq says:

The hodja recites the 21st verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie by denying Allah, or he who rejects the ayat (signs/verses) of Allah?” says Janâb-i Haqq. Allah has no sons, but you say Allah does. You divinize the servants (qul) of Allah. You slander Allah. You invent a lie against Allah. Allah says, “Renounce all that.” The biggest wrongdoers (zalimun) are those who do these.

“Indeed, the wrongdoers (zalimun) will not find salvation.”

That is, “يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ” – “There is no salvation for the zalimun, they will not find it.

The hodja recites the 22nd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

What does Almighty Rabb (Lord) say here?

Says, “That day We will gather them all to mahshar, and then We will say to those who associated partners with Allah, “Where are your partners whom you used to associate with Allah?”

You used to divinize others besides Allah. You used to worship them. Some of you claimed Allah is trifold. Some of you said Allah has a son. You used to worship various idols, or worship a valuable person by divinizing him, or build fabricated idols. Janâb-i Haqq will gather everyone in mahshar and ask, “Where are those whom you used to worship?” Everyone should get their head straight, and nobody should ruin himself. That is the point of the matter.

Janâb-i Haqq says the following.

The hodja recites a part of the 23rd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Then, there won’t be a plea for them except that they say, ‘We swear by our Allah, our Rabb (Lord) that we were not among the polytheists (mushrikun).’.” They will take false oaths.

The hodja recites a part of the 24rd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Look,” says Allah, “how they lied against themselves,” Janâb-i Haqq said, “The idols they fabricated were lost from them.”

See, everything is mortal, but Allah is eternal (baqī). Do not hold fast to mortals, rather hold fast to the eternal (baqī). Do not hold fast to creatures, hold fast to al-Khalq (Creator). Do not hold fast to the world, hold fast to the heavens. Do not hold fast to polytheism (shirk) or disbelief (kufr), hold fast to monotheism (tawhid iman) and Islam. Don’t hold fast to make-believe books, hold fast to the Quran and the cord of Allah that does not break. So, what is it?

The hodja recites the 256th verse of Surah al-Baqarah [2].

Says, “Whoever denies taghuts (false gods) and believes in Allah has held fast to the firmest handle of Allah for which there is no breaking.” See, if one has held fast to handle that does not break, he shall go up and climb to the arsh (ninth heaven) and to Janna (Paradise). Also, if one lets it go, then he will go down to Jahannam (Hell) because he let go.

Time Stamp: 10:10

Do not do that! Do not ruin yourself, but the choice is yours. That is why lies will be revealed on the Last Day. Let’s say one has ascribed partners with Allah, and tells lies in order to cover his polytheism (shirk). These are methods of going down and down. Goes down and down towards the bottom of Jahannam (Hell). Lies upon lies, polytheism (shirk) upon polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr) upon disbelief (kufr), loss upon loss… Is that not a pity? There is a remedy, and you can do it right now. If you can breathe at the moment, then become a Muslim right now, and come to faith (iman). Islam here is Allah’s own personal order. That is Allah’s order. Al-Quran Al-Karim is Allah’s book, the Last Book. The one that renewed the past. The one that bears witness to the past, and incorporates all values of the future in itself. Muhammad is its last, greatest, and universal Prophet. Do you think you will be saved by denying Allah, denying the laws of Allah, and by making an idol of the setting you find yourself in? Woe to humanity who is deceived! How they are deceiving themselves!

Time Stamp: 12:40

–          The End        –

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 218

On the 25st to 32nd verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Dear friend,

Azrail (a.s.) will take your life away when your term comes to an end without looking at your rank, position, or office no matter which position or office you have. You may be the richest person in the world, or the most knowledgeable, or the most ignorant, or the poorest. You need to have faith (iman) and obedience to Allah. There is an order that Allah has found, its name is Islam. Lucky you if you have believed in all laws of Islam without omitting a single one, but neither your position, nor your office, nor your poverty, nor your richness, nor your knowledge (ilm), nor your ignorance will save you if you have denied.

So, every good work you do shall return back to you as fazilat if you faithfully work under the command of Allah and do good deeds (amal-e-saleh). You will be surrounded by fazilat, and holy values shall be yours, but everything you have will go in vain when you deny. Do not do that evil to yourself.

Janâb-i Haqq mercifully created all the universe, and calls everyone to the rahmat (mercy and blessing). Janâb-i Haqq calls everyone to eternal bounty (lutf) and table of mercy (rahmat). Says, “Do not be struck by My punishment and wrath. Do not go to Jahannam (Hell) while there is Janna (Paradise). Do not disbelieve while there is faith (iman). Monotheism (tawhid iman) is My unity, do not ascribe partners to Me. I have established my true order. It is Islam, accept it.”

Allah created the universe, founded it, and then founded a perfect Islamic order for mankind. See, all past Prophets are Islamic Prophets. The last Prophet is Prophet Muhammad and he renewed the past entirely. It is Allah Ta’ala who did this, for the Law-Maker renewed the sharia (law). The Law-Maker is Allah. Allah personally brings forth the religion, and nobody else can invent one.

The hodja recites the 25th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Almighty Rabb (Lord) says, “There are those who listen to you among them, but We have placed over their hearts coverings, and deafness inside their ears in order to block them from understanding. They will not believe in it even if they see every sign. When they come to you, they argue with you. And those disbelievers (kāfirs) say, ‘These are nothing but stories of the ancients.’.”

See, they call Allah’s laws and Islam stories and nonsense. Nonsense has covered their hearts, and there are coverings over their hearts as we see. Those coverings are their own disbelief (kufr), they have been placed over their hearts as coverings. Their own polytheism (shirk) has been placed before them as an obstacle into their inner worlds. That is why Janâb-i Haqq placed obstacles inside them, and thus they have no means to understand Al-Quran Al-Karim. Coverings have been placed over their hearts, and deafness inside their ears. What are these? Well, these are their own disbelief (kufr), their own polytheism (shirk), and their own earnings. See how their own earnings hinder themselves?

See, this prevents them from understanding the Quran. See, they want to come and listen in order to spy on the religion. It is not for believing, their interest in it is for spying on it. So, what does Allah do with their own disbelief (kufr) and polytheism (shirk)? Allah places them into their inner world, and then their own disbelief (kufr) prevents them from understanding the truth.

The hodja recites the 26th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“They forbid others from believing in the Quran.”

Do you see the situation? They don’t believe and prevent others from believing.

“And they keep away from it.”

“They do not destroy anyone except themselves.”

Why? They keep away from the Quran. Janâb-i Haqq says they ruin themselves like that but they are not aware. Allah knows the servants (qul) best. Won’t the Creator know the creature?

Janâb-i Haqq also says the following.

The hodja recites the 27th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“If you could see them when they are made to stand on the Fire, then they will say, ‘Oh! Would that we were sent back to the world, not deny the ayat (verses/signs) of our Rabb (Lord), and be among the believers (mu’minun).’.” says Janâb-i Haqq.

The infidels shall declare faith when they gather in mahshar, and they would wish they could turn back and be good Muslims, but it will be too late. There is no second coming to the world. You came to the world once, and Allah assigned you a lifetime. You should have used that lifetime well in this test field, but if you missed your chance, then you have ruined yourself!

Our Almighty Rabb (Lord) also says the following.

The hodja recites the 28th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

No, it is because what they used to conceal before became manifest to them. And if they were sent back certainly, they would return to do what they were forbidden, because they are liars.”

When a person’s inner world is distorted, even if he regrets it for one second that distortion in him is still there to convey him to wrong when he finds a comfortable place. May Allah not make anyone fall into that situation. O, Muslim! That is why you should place your forehead on sajdah day and night. Praise Allah. Say, “Do not make me fall into that situation.” Day and night, seek shelter in Allah from polytheism (shirk), disbelief (kufr), corruption (nifaq), defiance, and bad morals.

Our Prophet says the following:

The hodja recites the original text of the hadith-i sharif.

He said these to his Rabb, our Rabb, as if he was crying out. He was begging to his Rabb (Lord). He is an innocent Prophet. Even though his past and future is guaranteed, he served more than anyone, and he begged his Rabb (Lord) more than anyone.

Time Stamp: 10:05

He says, “Should I not be a thankful servant (qul) who thanks his Rabb (Lord),” to those who ask. “Should I not be among those who serve my Rabb (Lord),” he says. He humbly stands before Allah day and night. We see a Muhammad (asw) who stands in the presence of Allah at all times. See, he is an exemplary servant (qul). He is the leader of servants (qul). He is the only exemplary human being, and leader because he is a Prophet. He is the greatest Prophet. The entire mankind should follow the path he led which is sirat al-mustaqim (the straight path), and he calls all people to Janna (Paradise).

Dear friends!

These truths are greater than all truths. These are the most sacred truths. These truths that we narrate are more sacred than everything that is sacred. That is why you should apply to reason (aql). Submit your will, reason (aql), and all of your abilities to the way of Allah. Submit yourself to Allah. Allah gave us everything that we have. So, submit all of them to Allah. Use them in Allah’s way for the pleasure (riza) of Allah. Do not be deceived! Ask for help day and night!

The hodja recites the 29th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“They said, ‘There is no life other than the life of this world, and we will not be resurrected.’.”

See, infidelity begins right there by saying that there is no life other than the life of this world. Woe to those who say people are not resurrected when they die! Their eyes are blind, ears are deaf, and their hearts and brains do not work at all. Why? The manifest document of the fact that this world and ourselves have been created from nothing. This document is already the document of the fact that we will be resurrected when we die. We have been created by Janâb-i Haqq from nothing. Nothing is hard for Allah. In our eyes resurrecting people when they die is easier work. Besides, everything that exists has been created from nothing. What has been created is the document of resurrection. They are manifest documents of the great gathering (mahshar). Can a faithful person say otherwise? O Allah! Do not make us among those who fall into that situation! O Rabb (Lord)! Bestow upon those who cannot narrate Al-Quran Al-Karim correctly the ability to do so! Make those who don’t listen listen. Make those who follow the pathway towards hell find and follow the pathway to paradise. Give monotheism (tawhid iman) to those who swim in polytheism (shirk). O Allah! These people are your servants (qul), bestow upon them monotheism (tawhid), true faith (iman), good deeds (amal-e-saleh), the lightful Islam, the life-giving Quran. Make them among Your servants (qul) who go towards you under the leadership of Muhammad.

The hodja partly recites the 50th verse of Surah Qaf.

Make us among the servants (qul) who flee to You. My Allah! Make those who narrate the religion not based on the primary (asl-i) sources such as the Quran, Sunnah, ijma-i ummah (consensus) etc., narrate it to people based on true and primary (asl-i) sources. Do not make us among the people who waste those minutes, those hours, those days, months, years, and their whole lives! O Rabb (Lord)! Guide them to the truth. O Allah! Guide them to sirat al-mustaqim (the straight path). They are all your servants (qul).

Time Stamp: 15:25

O, mankind! Allah has loved you so much, and created you in Rahmati Rahman. Created you in this mercy! Why don’t you take pity on yourself and accept Allah? You don’t accept Islam which is the laws and commands of Allah, rather you go towards Allah’s wrath and punishment. O my brother! Why don’t you take pity on yourself? We are children of Adam, and in terms of being human we are all brothers, but Allah wants real brotherhood in faith (iman). Says, “إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ” – “Only the faithful are brothers.” See, all people are servants (qul) of Allah but Allah does not accept those who don’t accept Allah. Allah does not accept those who don’t accept Islam. See, if you deny Allah, then Allah denies you as well. Allah calls those who believe servants (qul). So, what will happen to us if our faith (iman) is lost? Should we not beg Allah day and night? Allah gave the soul, the body, and founded this universe for us and furnished it as well. Also, prepared the Janna (Paradise), and the immortal life, and shined the life-giving light (nūr). Islam is the life-giving light (nūr) that shines through hearts and souls. So, my brother, use your reason (aql). O the priests of the word! O the judges of the world! O the rulers of the world! O the top-brass of the world! O the generals and marshals of the word! O those who live in the realm of the lords! Just think for a second! Azrail (a.s.) will not distinguish between rich and poor, and he will come to you and take your life and bring it to Allah. There is no doubt about it. Allah’s greatest servant (qul) is Prophet Muhammad, and Azrail (a.s.) took his life as well. Allah invited him, and he passed away. He walked towards the praised station (al-maqam al-mahmud) and the highest place in paradise (a’la-yı illiyyin). Muhammad has experienced that as well as Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses).

“Every living thing will experience death and answer to Allah.”

That said, you can’t enter Janna (Paradise) by rejecting Allah. You have been created from a single drop of liquid. What did Janâb-i Haqq do with you? Turned you first into a clot of blood, and then to a little bit of flesh, and then gave you a skeleton, and blew a soul into you. Then, turned you into a kid and then a teenager while you were just a baby; and then turned you from a teenager to an adult. You became old, and your term (ajal) has ended. Your spirit left your body, and your body lies there empty. If they don’t bury you for a while, it will stink and it will scare off everyone. Do you really deny the Creator even in this situation? Do you really rise against the Creator though you are this powerless?

Time Stamp: 20:00

Who gave you the intellect (aql) and ability, scientific studies, discoveries, karamat and istidraj? Who gave you the ability while you fill your shoulder mark with rank? Did Allah give them to you so that you may deny?

O, the rulers of the world! O, states people of the world! O, those who manage the states! Rule with justice! Do not be cruel to people! Do not consume the rights of the orphans and the poor, and don’t let anyone exploit them. Azrail (a.s.) will come and take your life, and bring you to Allah. Don’t say you haven’t heard.

Janâb-i Haqq also commanded the following.

The hodja recites the 30th and 31st verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Dear friends!

Janâb-i Haqq said the following in these verses: “If you could see when they will be made to stand before their Rabb (Lord). Their Rabb (Lord) will say to them, ‘Is this not the truth?’ They will say, ‘We swear by our Rabb (Lord) that it is the truth.’.”

See, they would call it nonsense in the world but they say it is real while they are there. Why? Because they have seen the truth.

“Their Rabb (Lord) will say to them, ‘Then taste the punishment because you used to deny.’.”

Is there a way out? No, there is no way out for the disbeliever. So, believe in Allah and obey. Do not revolt. Do not be a polytheist. Do not be a disbeliever. Do not ever deny. Stay away from corruption (nifaq), and become an honest and sincere Muslim.

“Indeed, those who deny the meeting with Allah have incurred loss. When the Hour befalls them suddenly, they said, “Alas for us, for the wrongs we did in the world,” while they will bear their sins on their backs. Indeed, evil is the sin they bear!

The hodja recites the 32nd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“The life of the world is nothing but play and diversion, and the abode of afterlife (ākhira) is better for those who are wary of Allah. Then, will you not reason?”

Friends, Almighty Rabb (Lord) says that to us servants (qul), and tells us to use our minds. Come, use your mind and stop disuniting people for Allah is One. There is not a second religion in the world. There is only one religion. Look, there are so many segregations, separatism, and deviations in the world. There is only one religion, and the religion that all Prophets brought is Islam. Allah has been renewing the sharia laws from the eras of the past to this day. In the end, Allah has renewed it entirely with Muhammad and the sharia (law) of Islam. You see, the Quran, Sunnah, ijma (consensus), qiyas (analogy), asl-i (primary) and far’i (secondary) sources are intact and out there, and nobody can distort Al-Quran Al-Karim by any chance.

Time Stamp: 25:00

Nobody can distort Islam; they will only ruin themselves. A person will distort himself if he misunderstands the Quran. A person will distort himself and others if he narrates it wrong, but Islam will not be affected. So, don’t ruin yourself my brother, and don’t distort anyone else. Understand it right, and become a person who upgrades himself, and helps others upgrade themselves.

The following is a prayer (dua) of our Prophet. Besides, the life of our Prophet is filled to brim with prayers (duas).

“O Allah,” he says, “Make us among the rightly guided people who help others find guidance (hidayat). Do not make us among the misguided who deviate. Do not make us among those who deviate and make others deviate as well.” “O Allah,” he says, “Make us among those who love what You love, who criticize what You criticize…” He says so many other things as well, he continues to pray because his entire life is nothing but prayer (dua) and servitude. His entire life, inside and outside, is faith (iman), good deeds (amal-e-saleh), the real and best morals (akhlaq), a complete justice, and a complete mercy. He is the love that embraces the universe in the literal sense.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 219

On the 33rd to 36th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The hodja recites the 33rd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Indeed, we know what they say grieves you,” said Janâb-i Haqq to the Beloved Muhammad. Allah said, “Those impertinent people! We surely know what they say grieves you, and indeed they do not deny you, but those wrongdoers (zalimun) deny the ayat (signs/verses) of Allah.”

See, you reject the ayat (signs/verses) when you deny Muhammad, and rejecting the ayat (signs/verses) is the same as denying Allah. If you deny something that belongs to Allah, then it is equal to denying Allah. See, Allah has sent Prophet Muhammad, and Allah has sent down the Quran. If you deny any of them, then it is equal to denying Allah. Don’t deceive yourself.

The hodja recites the 34th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

“And surely, Prophets were denied before you.” See, they denied the previous Prophets as well. The state of this denial mentality has always been the same and will be the same. “But they patiently bore being denied and tormented until Our help came to them.” See, it is said here that the previous Prophets were patient against the torments the deniers inflicted upon them. “There is no one who can alter the words of Allah, and verily a part of the news of the Prophets have come to you.”

Now, what does Janâb-i Haqq say to Prophet Muhammad? Says, “We have informed you of a part of the news regarding the past Prophets.” See, Al-Quran Al-Karim narrates the past. Janâb-i Haqq narrated the past to Prophet Muhammad first, with Al-Quran Al-Karim. And now, Janâb-i Haqq narrates the past to the entire universe with the Quran.

Janâb-i Haqq said the following next.

The hodja recites the 35th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Janâb-i Haqq says, “If their aversion is difficult for you, then seek a tunnel in the earth or a ladder into the heavens so that you bring them a miracle (sign), if you are able to. If Allah had willed, Allah surely would have gathered them on hidayat (guidance). So, do not be among the ignorant.”

That is, don’t feel bad because the faithless don’t come to faith, said Janâb-i Haqq. This way, Allah consoled him, and this was also a warning. A complete warning.

The hodja recites the 36th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says: “Only those who listen accept the invitation. As for the dead, Allah will resurrect them, and then to Allah they will be returned.”

Time Stamp: 4:55

That is, if a person’s heart has died and he can’t hear the Quran anymore, and his soul is dead and full of disbelief (kufr), then there is no chance to make him hear the truth. Hidayat (guidance) must reach him first.

Allah says, “Allah will resurrect them, and then to Allah they will be returned.” Allah does not give hidayat (guidance) to those who don’t want it because Allah has left people free. Let say a man chose disbelief (kufr), misguidance (dalalah), polytheism (shirk), and he does not want guidance (hidayat). Janâb-i Haqq left him free. Had Allah made people Muslim compulsorily, then Allah would not have created Jahannam (Hell). That is why divine justice will manifest at the end of freedom. The requital of disbelief (kufr) is Jahannam (Hell), and the reward of faith (iman) and good deeds (amal-e-saleh) is Janna (Paradise). Disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), corruption (nifaq), and evil deeds have no place in Janna (Paradise) as a necessity of justice, and their abode is Jahannam (Hell). This is how divine justice has manifested, and the laws inform us about this. That is, the laws of Allah.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 220

On the 37th to 39th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The hodja recites the 37th, 38th, and 39th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Almighty Rabb [Lord] says, “They say, ‘A miracle (sign) should be sent down to him from his Rabb [Lord], right?’ Say, ‘Allah is indeed able (qadīr) to send down a miracle (sign), but most of them don’t know.’.”

“There isn’t an animal that walks on the earth nor a bird that flies with its two wings that is not a community (ummah) like you. We have not omitted anything in the Book. Then, they will be gathered in the presence of their Rabb (Lord).”

“Those who deny our ayat (signs/verses) are deaf and mute in the darkness. Allah leads astray whomever Allah wills, and whomever Allah wills Allah places him on a straight path,” and guides him.

Surely, it is Allah who knows best whom to lead astray into misguidance (dalalah) and whom to guide. Allah is free and away from cruelty (zulm) and injustice. Allah does not torment anyone, and is not unfair to anyone. Allah gives whatever people themselves have deserved.

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 221

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Dearest audience,

We have given you the core meanings of the first verses of Surah al-An’am. We have mentioned short discovery notes on these verses. Our lectures continue as we mention certain life-giving notes, discoveries, and discovery notes.

It is said according to a narration that comes from Ibn-i Abbas that all of Surah al-An’am was sent down on a single night. He says 70.000 angels, pay attention. They celebrated the coming of this surah. Jibril (a.s.) had 50.000 angels by his side, and it is said that they brought it to Prophet Muhammad. Then, our Prophet called all of the clerks and they wrote it all on that night. He says this except for six verses. The narrators are our honest and authentic narrators. The shaitans had gathered for this surah, and it is said that they never gathered this much for any surah. Jibril (a.s.), with 50.000 under his command, brought the surah by celebrating it as if there was a festival, and our Prophet says, “They placed it on my chest as if they poured water into a pool. This is such a treat for you.” That is, Al-Quran Al-Karim came for all humanity. When our Prophet addresses us, he addresses all humanity. The believers have won this fazilat (truth), and disbelievers deprived themselves from it. Our beloved Prophet says this is such a treat for us that this surah in the Quran will not let you deviate ever. It is said that the so-called proofs brought by polytheists were cancelled in this verse, but they still did not convert. This is said with regards to Al-Quran Al-Karim as well as Surah al-An’am. Suyuti is present in the sources of this narration.

“The angels had covered the sky; our Prophet was praising Allah.”

There is Muhammad ibn Munkedir and Ibn Kathīr are also present in the sources of the narration.

Then again, in the 3rd and 6th verses of Surah al-Maidah [5], our Almighty Rabb (Lord), Almighty Allah said that the blessing (nimat) upon us is complete. The blessing (nimat) of Islam upon us has been completed. Worldly and otherworldly blessings (nimat) are complete, and duty befell on us now. So, let us try to complete our duties as servants (qul). Let us try to do our duties as servants (qul) perfectly. Everything about us is flawed, but Allah accepts our efforts when we do them as best as we can. That is because Allah does not offer to us anything that we cannot bear, and gracefully accepts our efforts. Says, “This servant (qul) of Mine has used his ability.”

Dear friend!

Do you know what is said after abdast (partial ablution), ghusl (full ablution), tayammum, and namāz (prayer) in the 6th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

The hodja partly recites the 6th verse of Surah al-Maidah [5].

Says, “desires to purify you.”

Islam purifies a person inside and outside. The faith (iman) and nūr (light) of Islam purifies and brightens you. It purifies you outside and inside, and the people’s, believer’s, and Muslim’s inside shine with nūr (light) of tawhid (monotheism).

Time Stamp: 5:15

Their heart and spiritual worlds have been encompassed by a complete nūr (light) of tawhid (monotheism). Says, “To purify your inner world and outer world,” – “وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ”. Says, “To complete My blessing on you.” Says, “It is hoped that you will be thankful (shukr).” So, what is shukr? One should truly believe, know Islam well, obey, worship, and fulfil the necessity of divine commands, and not revolt. That is shukr or thankfulness. One may be thankful to Allah by having true faith (iman) and good deeds (amal-e-saleh). Saying things like, “Thanks to you o Rabb (Lord),” is only momentary thankfulness of the tongue. You will have thanked (shukr) Allah when you fully know and fully live Islam with your soul, heart, and every fibre of your being. You will be thankful (shukr) when you use the power and abilities that were given to you in the way of Allah, otherwise only your tongue will say thanks. Where is your heart? Where is your soul? Where is the thankfulness of your body? A servant (qul) will not have thanked (shukr) Allah without declaring faith (iman). A servant (qul) will not have thanked (shukr) Allah without doing good deeds (amal-e-saleh). Besides, the bare minimum of thankfulness (shukr) is true faith (iman), and good deeds (amal-e-saleh), and not revolting. See, only then you are in the way of thankfulness (shukr). Janâb-i Haqq has completed the blessings of the world and the blessings of the afterlife (ākhira). Janâb-i Haqq completed the blessings of the afterlife (ākhira) completely, and wants to admit you into the Janna (Paradise). The Janna (Paradise) is complete, but you should enter it because Janâb-i Haqq wants to bestow upon you the eternal bounties (nimat). This glorious surah encompasses the progress of advancement and attaining perfection. Do you want to attain perfection (kamal)? Then pay attention to Al-Quran Al-Karim. Pay attention to this surah! Do you want to upgrade yourself and follow the progress to perfection? Then pay attention to this surah and Al-Quran Al-Karim. Understand and comprehend Islam well! Every end is a beginning, don’t forget it. Every end is but a beginning! Do not forget. The Creator is dominant over what has been created, the Kingdom (Mulk), and sovereignty. Allah is ever-existent, and there is not even a single atom or planet in the heavens and in the earth that Allah does not possess. Allah is predominant over everything because Allah is the absolute ruler. Allah’s omnipotence (qudrah) reaches everywhere, and encompasses everywhere. Allah’s ilm (knowledge) reaches everywhere. Allah has encompassed everything with Allah’s ilm (knowledge), and ruler everything. Allah is ruler of everything inside and outside. Allah is the possessor of such an omnipotence (qudrah). Allah is All-Knowing, and All-Encompassing though ilm (knowledge). Allah encompasses whom Allah wills with mercy (rahmat), and encompasses whom Allah wills with wrath and anger. Get your mind together! “الْحَمْدُ للّهِ” is present in the beginning of five surahs. Pay attention to this as well. One of these holy surahs is Surah al-Fatihah, another one is Surah al-Kahf, another is Surah Saba, and another is Surah al-Fatir.

Time Stamp: 10:00

Pay attention! Hamd – praise. All praises, all sacred praises belong to Allah. There is not even an ounce of goodness or value in what Allah has not praised. Be a servant (qul) whom Allah praises. Allah praises Muhammad in the Quran. Therefore, what is his name? Another name of Muhammad is Ahmad, and another is Hamid, and another is Mahmud, and another is Muhammad Mustafa. Allah personally gave that name for he is servant (qul) whom Allah praised. The praised station (al-maqam al-mahmud) is the highest place in paradise, and the centre of the ninth heaven (arsh-i âlâ) is Muhammad’s station. That said, Allah is free and away from time and space, and Allah has encompassed the ninth heaven (arsh) as well. There is nowhere in the eternity in the past (azal) and eternity in the future (abad) that Allah’s rulership is not predominant. Allah is the ruler of everything. That is why the attributes of to Create (Khalq) (خلق) and to Make (جعل), belong to Allah with regards to being the Creator. Taqwin (genesis), taqdir (decree), qadar (fate), tasfiyah (to purify), are of Allah’s creation, just like Allah created the heavens and the earth. As for, “jaeal – جعل” which means “to make,” it is relative and secondary or half. See, “jaeal – جعل” means “to make,” it is a subordinate indirect creation such as the creation of light and dark. That said, all of these belong to Allah.

Now, let us take a look. What does hilkat (creation) mean? It means creation. So, what is fitrat (innate nature)? The innate nature that is placed in creation is called fitrat. So, hilkat is creation and fitrat is the innate nature of the creation. Therefore, fitrah (innate nature) is present in hilkat (creation). So, you should comprehend these well. Your fitrah (innate nature) is Islam.

Allah has placed the fitrah (innate nature) of Islam into your hilkat (creation) as your nature while creating you. Those who distorted it later have distorted it themselves. Those who couldn’t develop and upgrade their innate nature (fitrah) with Islam have distorted their own fitrah (innate nature). They converted it to disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), and corruption (nifaq), and they ruined themselves.

True non-existence is at first zulumāt (darknesses), which is before the angels. See, nūr (light) is a singular noun but zulumāt (darknesses) is plural.

Now, about monotheism (tawhid), please pay attention now! Husn-u-tekabul – a good acceptance.

Now, disbelief (kufr) is actually not fundamental (asl-i), but faith (iman) was fundamental (asl-i). People themselves fabricated and earned disbelief (kufr) where there was faith (iman). But, knowledge (ilm) was fundamental (asl-i). People themselves chose ignorance. That is, those who did. Goodness (khayr) was fundamental (asl-i). It is Allah’s mercy and blessing (rahmat), and love was fundamental (asl-i). Joy was fundamental (asl-i). See, joy was fundamental (asl-i) but people invented malice themselves. Do you see what happened when people deviated from what is fundamental (asl-i)? They were suffocated and destroyed in the evil that they fabricated and earned themselves. They invented disbelief (kufr). They invented ignorance. They invented evil. People themselves invented and earned whatever there is in the name of sorrow and sadness, and these are not fundamental (asl-i) concepts.

Time Stamp: 15:00

They were secondary. People left what is fundamental (asl-i) and started chasing an evil secondary gain. See, the brought disbelief (kufr) against belief (iman), ignorance against knowledge, evil against good, sadness and sorrow against happiness. Those who distort their faith (iman), the Quran in their hearts, and the true creation and innate nature that Almighty Allah created, and those who don’t implement the prescription Allah gave us so that we may upgrade it, and those who don’t advance themselves with Islam started chasing an evil gain. Those who left belief (iman) got stuck in disbelief (kufr). Those who left sciences (ilm) of Islam got stuck in ignorance. Islam is nothing but good (khayr), and those who left it got stuck in evil. Islam is nothing but happiness, bliss, and love. But they got stuck in sorrow and hate. Did they not ruin themselves?

They ruined themselves badly. Now, there is an opportunity for those who live in the world. What is it? It is to be equipped with these fundamental (asl-i) and holy values that Almighty Allah brought forth, and be a Muslim. But of course, become a good Muslim. You can’t simple be a fake Muslim. You can’t look like a Muslim but live otherwise. You need to be a Muslim inside and outside. The Quran should be in and around you. You need to have the morals of Muhammad and the Quran inside and outside. You need to have mercy inside and outside. You need to be filled to the brim with love inside and outside, which is Islam. It is more beautiful than what I narrate, because I can only tell this much. The certain signs that break the back of wrongs (batil), and documents have come. Get your mind together by Al-Quran Al-Karim and Surah al-An’am [6], the remedy is manifest. Almighty Allah made mercy an obligation upon Allah. Allah manifested this mercy (rahmat) upon all the words with Islam, Prophet Muhammad, and the Quran. This is among the greatest blessings (lutf) of Allah. Islam is among the greatest blessings (lutf). It is the manifestation of Allah’s grace (lutf). Mecaz-i mutearef. Well-known metaphor.

Almighty Allah bears witness in every matter. Allah bears witness to the trueness of Islam, that Prophethood of Muhammad is true, that Al-Quran Al-Karim is Allah’s true Book. Allah personally bears witness. It does not matter whether or not others witness. The witnessing of others only benefits themselves. The faiths (imans) of those who recite the kalima shahada, and those who have true faith (iman) and those who witness will save themselves. They will have accepted and confessed the truth. This witnessing is a necessity of faith (iman), but even if all the universe denies, isn’t Allah’s witnessing enough? Islam will not be hurt even if all universe denied. That said, Allah will not gain anything if the entire universe declared faith (iman). People themselves earn or lose when they believe or disbelieve.

The hodja recites a part of the 286th verse of Surah al-Baqarah [2].

That is why dear friends, let us exercise our cognizance. Cognizance is the light of cognizance, and ability to see and cognize. The total of all of them is a physical and spiritual light. See, a real cognizant should understand Al-Quran Al-Karim well.

Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim is complete physical and spiritual nūr (light) for mankind. It is the life-giving nūr (light). Now let’s have a look at the concepts of subjective and objective. Everything about Islam is true (haqiqa). Subjective and objective aspects of Islam in spiritual and physical world is true (haqiqa). For example, you have a spiritual world. Your soul is a truth (haqiqa). Your intellect (aql) is a truth (haqiqa). Whatever there is regarding the Unseen (ghaib) that Al-Quran Al-Karim brought forth are truths (haqiqa). The existence of this universe is a truth (haqiqa), and the meaning inside the universe is also a truth (haqiqa). The truth (haqiqa) of Holy Omnipotence (Qudrah) is truer than all of it. Those who don’t understand this truth divinize creatures. For example, Yazdân God of good), and Ahriman (God of evil). Those who worship creatures by naming them as God of light have been so wrong.

See, some people worship the light, but it is Allah who created it. Allah created darkness as well. They worship something called God of evil, thus they worship evil. They also worship something else called God of good, and they even gave them names. They call them Yazdân (God of good), and Ahriman (God of evil). They divinized light and dark, and they worship it.

Those are nothing but disbelief (kufr) one by one. You can’t worship a creature for Allah is One. Can you worship a creature while there is the Creator? No matter which of them you worship, they are all creatures. He who worships a creature is in disbelief (kufr) and polytheism (shirk). That is nothing but utter impudence. Don’t you feel embarrassed in the face of Allah while worshipping creatures? Janâb-i Haqq personally created that creature, and you abandon the Creator. No matter how valuable of a servant (qul) you are, and no matter who you are, you cannot worship a creature. That is polytheism (shirk) and idolatry, and it has no other meaning. It makes you deaf and blind. Can anyone give you anything if they are sealed? Now, you are worshipping a creature, and Allah gave you an ear. Is there someone who can give you a third ear if Allah made you deaf? No, there is not. Allah gave you two eyes, is there anyone who can give you a third one if Allah makes you blind? No, there is not. So, if Allah seals them, is there anyone who can unseal them? Allah created your soul, and let’s say it has been sealed, is there anyone who can create another? No, there is not. Is there anyone who can create a fly? No, there is not. Is there anyone who can create an ant? No, there is not. Then, why are you worshipping a creature? Do not do that, renounce! Get to know Allah, the al-Khalq (Creator). Those who don’t accept Allah are worshippers of creatures. No other expression is needed. Meet with Allah! You need to get to know Muhammad and the Quran in order to meet Allah (c.c.). Get to know Muhammad Mustafa (asw) well so that he may introduce you with Allah.

Get to know Al-Quran Al-Karim well, for it is Allah’s Book. Let it introduce Allah to you, and then you won’t worship creatures. O mankind! Allah created you as successors (caliphs), created you from clay. Clay, plants, animals, foods, and generations of people created from a drop of liquid, pay attention! You were nothing, and then you were created. How were you created? Some of our mufassirs such as Fakhr al-Din al-Razi says, “Humans were created from sperm and menstruation blood. And blood was created from foods. There are two types of foods, animals and plants. Shape and character, soul and body, organ and systems etc. These do not come into existence by themselves, it is Allah who created them from nothing. Also, it is Almighty Allah who personally created the reproductive system,” and he says the truth.

That is why generations cannot be spontaneous and without a reason; also, they cannot come to existence by themselves. That is, they cannot come to existence later by themselves, that is wrong (batil). That is, nothing can come into existence by itself without the Creator. The al-Khalq (Creator) has created the fundamentals (asl) of every creature from nothing. That is, Allah. Also, it is Allah who created the reproductive systems of those creatures. That is why nothing can come to existence by itself spontaneously, without there being a reason. So, pay attention to this! Whichever creature you see, get to know al-Khalq (Creator) first. Remember the Creator well!

Then again, Imam Razi says that this verse was revealed all at once, and 70.000 angels had bid farewell to it. There are signs in it about monotheism (tawhid), justice, prophethood, and afterlife (ākhira). He also says that this verse fights with wrongs (batil). This is said in reference to Surah al-An’am.

Besides, we have started from the beginning of Al-Quran Al-Karim and came to Surah al-An’am. The life-giving nūr (light) continues to shed light, enlighten, and make you blissful for eternity. Al-Quran Al-Karim calls to the life-giving nūr (light). That is, it calls to Allah.

Think about the first man, and the creation of the first sperm. Study the scientific theories by analysing them. Scientific theories base it on a single cell. It has been weaved with art, with relatively small, round or long cells. Think about the small particles that were pulled out from Adam’s loins! All humans are descended from Adam and Eve. Allah created the first man from nothing. Do you see this situation that you can observe with a microscope? A cell is born from a cell, and it is nourished by it. Air, water, etc. And then, a live body emerges.

Pay attention! A cell is born out of a cell, and it is nourished too since there is air, water, and others are in it. This way a live body arises. These are the witnesses of the al-Hakim (All-Wise) and Holy Omnipotence (Qudrah). The Holy Omnipotence (Qudrah) has created it. These creatures witness the Holy Omnipotence (Qudrah). The universe and every living thing are witnesses and signs of Allah’s omnipotence (qudrah). Do not forget. Do not be mistaken. Some may try to deceive you, do not be deceived!

That said, according to a narration from Ibn-i Abbas, this Surah was revealed as a whole. It is said that 70.000 angels were around it and they were glorifying it loudly. See, the angels had bid farewell to this Surah loudly by glorifying it. It is also said that Jibril (a.s.) brought it with 50.000 angels. That said, our beloved Prophet, Muhammad Mustafa says that it was placed into his chest as if water was being poured into a pool.

Moreover, scientists suggest life and vitality can be traced back to seed. For example, Pastor. That is, it is a family, a lineage. Cells are created later. Organic chemistry and histology brought forth plenty of knowledge in this matter. There is a great deal of knowledge. Goes to divine wisdom with selection or law of istıfâ.

Insha ‘Allah, our lectures will continue as lessons of the life-giving nūr (light) with discovery notes. May Janâb-i Haqq make us among the servants (qul) who find life and be happy forever, whose insides and outsides are nūr (light). May Allah admit us into the group of servants (qul) whose every word and deed is haqq (right) and nūr (light). May Allah destined us to be with Prophets, siddiqs (trustworthy people), martyrs, and salehs (pious people).
