Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 268

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Beloved friends, let us continue our lectures on the meaning of life, its happiness, its enlightenment. Let us continue walking towards the way that extends to eternity, the well-lit path that leads to the Real (al-Haqq). Let us continue safely and blissfully on that path. As for the guarantee, indemnity, and content of that bliss; whatever is necessary is encompassed by the true prescription of life. See, the blissful prescription that prepares humans to eternity consists of light, peace. That is, we continue our life-giving lectures of Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam, which consist of nothing but Allah’s eternal mercy (rahmat).

Islam saves you from all danger. Gives you everything you ever hope. Gives you the happiness you sought. Gives you more in quantity and in beauty than you could ever imagine. Wonders upon wonders! All bounties (nimat) of life are presented to humanity at this Islamic table. These are Islamic life-lessons, lessons of life and light of Al-Quran Al-Karim. So, let us continue our lessons.

Naturally everything has an antonym such as right (haqq) and wrong (batil), beautiful and ugly, acceptable action and unacceptable action, belief (iman) and disbelief (kufr), the Shaitan (Devil) and the spiritual forces that stand against him; when we look at them, we see that doings are also like that. Iblīs (the Devil) and other shaitans (devils) are the source of evil doings. They make evil deeds fair-seeming. Shaitans (devils) inculcate people, and make him like evil doings without realizing.

So, shaitans (devils) will continue to inculcate you as long as you do not take this lightful and real lessons of Al-Quran Al-Karim, which are true lessons of life brought forth by Allah Ta’ala, from their original sources. You can’t not know whether the inculcations are good or evil.

Come brother! Let us teach these lessons of the life-giving light (nūr), and all lessons of Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim from beginning to end, let us be guided with it, and let us be equipped with that true knowledge. When we equip them and gain consciousness with them, it will be like wearing an armour made out of true knowledge, thus preventing the inculcations of the Shaitan (Devil) forever. They go as they come; they will be thrown out. Reality (haqiqa) shall deny the wrong (batil). That is why shaitans (devils) inculcate humans, and people like it, they work for it, and after liking and working for that evil deed they start earning it, and then what happens? Their free-will and freedom are not constrained, he earns and Allah creates. That is, evil is created if someone wants it; and good things are created for those who want good, and success is given to them. There is no help for evil; but Allah’s help is present in good deeds. Allah creates and helps you with it when you endeavour to do good deeds. Allah bestows upon you, treats you generously; and does not refrain from giving guidance, companionship, and generosity to you. Allah never refrains help and aid from you. Janâb-i Haqq bestows upon you in accordance with your sincerity, earnings, what you need, your ability and skill.

That is why, the deniers like what they do, and the Shaitan (Devil) makes it fair-seeming. He adorns the souls (nafs) because the reason that they like the doings of deniers is that they do not know the truth, or that they turned their back on truth, or that they are hostile towards the truth. That is because kāfirs like what they do, and they don’t escape darkness, or they don’t want to. Why though? That is, they have chosen manifold darkness over light, and it has been made fair-seeming to them. That is, because of it has been made fair-seeming to them, they see wrong (batil) instead of right (haqq), and thus disbelief (kufr) settles in the place of belief (iman); and from then on, all that is light seem dark to them, and all rights seems wrong. As for all wrongs, they seem right to them.

Disgrace upon disgrace! Ignorance upon ignorance! They go from failure to deeper failure. That is their state until they find guidance of the Quran, participate in the lessons of the life-giving light (nūr) of Islam, and be a recipient of Allah’s guidance. Flattering and polishing the apple is no lesson. Let us speak the truths, let us not flatter. This is not about flattering or polishing the apple. Islam is the embodiment of truth and reality. Why are you flattering? Why are you polishing the apple? Why do you go around its edge? Let us express the truth to each as other as it is. So, what happens when one find the guidance of Allah? Besides, this truth has been sent to call people to guidance and eternal happiness.

Allah has manifested eternal (azali wa abadi) mercy and blessing (rahmat) with Al-Quran Al-Karim upon people, manifested with Prophet Muhammad, manifested with Islam. So, if we spread (tabligh) this to people correctly, then they may accept it or not. However, if you flatter and polish the apple, we will be deceiving people, we will be playing fast and loose with it. Things will get out of hand. That is, we need to express the truth as much as you know it, to the extent of your power and ability without twisting it within the bounds of scholarly standards of the truth. We see these truths when we read the 108th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Deeds are made fair-seeming, and kāfir likes his doings. See, he likes disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), hypocrisy (nifaq), meaning he likes ascribing partners with Allah, he likes ascribing equals, he likes jahannam (hell) he likes haram. He sees halal and haram in reserve. Why? Because instead of faith (iman) and reality (haqiqa); disbelief (kufr) and misguidance (dalalah) became prominent in him. That is the point of the matter. The point of the matter is Islam and the Holy Quran. Islam, being the embodiment of this life-giving light (nūr) that sheds light, came to save all people. O people who are mistaken! Come! Do not deviate to the creatures of Allah by abandoning Allah. Do not deviate to idols, polytheism, partners, equals, or creatures! Allah has no equals, no partners, no comparables, why are you deviating to others? You need to know Al-Quran Al-Karim correctly also in order to know Allah Ta’ala correctly.

Mankind learned this lesson primarily from Prophet Muhammad, and our Islamic scholars (âlims), mujtahids, fortunate âlims of the way of Ahlus-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah, and those who dedicate their lives to scholarship (ilm), and the âlims and martyrs who gave their lives in this way have brought these holy entrustments to us. So, appreciate them.

“They cry out in the cold jahannam (hell).” Jahannam las many layers. That is what Al-Kashshaaf said in reference to the 128th verse, he said, “They cry out in the cold jahannam (hell). They wish to be sent to the blazing Fire because there is a cold jahannam (hell) as well, which can be comprehended via the cold we can measure in the world, there are cold layers of jahannam with respect to jahannam. And they cry out therein, that is one of the types of punishment. Then, they are brought to the fire jahannam (hell). That is of course, Al-Kashshaaf made this narration while discovering the 128th verse. Al-Zamakhsharī and Al-Kashshaaf narrated this.

As for deniers, today’s deniers and those who lived in our Prophet’s period and in older periods of time, now and the future, are possessors of a grave disbelief (kufr), they are vile heathens, inmates of the Shaitan (Devil). See, there are enemies of the truth in every era.

They do not acknowledge Allah. They do not acknowledge rights and remedies, nor justice, nor the Book, nor the Prophet. They are vile kāfirs, friends of the Shaitan (Devil), and enemies of the truth. See, the religion (din) of Islam came to save the entire humanity from their hands. If people follow Al-Quran Al-Karim wholeheartedly, and listen to it with all their heart’s ears, physical ears, eyes, all their senses, and their physical and spiritual powers, physical and spiritual abilities; if they endeavour to understand Al-Quran Al-Karim, then Allah will brighten their heart, and they will personally take an abundant share from these lessons of life-giving light (nūr).

Hodja recites the 43rd verse of Surah al-Fatir [35].

Let us see what Janâb-i Haqq says in the 43rd verse of Surah al-Fatir [35].

“And evil schemes beset only their authors.”

See, everyone who plots evil schemes, whoever plots evil schemes against humanity should know that they themselves will fall prey to those schemes, and they will be beset by the evil schemes they plotted.

The verse says, “And evil schemes beset only their authors.”

Allah makes their evil schemes beset themselves, and make them turn towards themselves. Know that well. Those who wish to destroy humanity, and produce ammunition and atom bombs in order to destroy this peace, tranquillity, justice, brotherhood, and those who kill people in masses should know that those atom bombs will explode over them in jahannam (hell) for eternity.

They shall explode over them in the world. Those bombs will explode in their spiritual worlds, over their heads, in their spiritual worlds.

Allah’s punishment over them shall seize them, and Allah will take retribution. That is why you should work for the better good of humanity! O tyrants! O devils’ friends! O enemies of the truth! Work for the better good of humanity!

Time Stamp: 15:23

Al-Quran Al-Karim came as a mercy (rahmat) upon humanity, and as the mentor of guidance, Prophet Muhammad came as the Universal Prophet of Mercy upon all the worlds. He came and stood against enemies of the truth (haqq), and against the friends of shaitan. He came to save humanity from its enemies. Allah sent Al-Quran Al-Karim. Allah sent Prophet Muhammad.

Beloved friends, that is why those who deny prophethood in the name of scholarship and science, and those who aspire to deniers, and those who say, “I should have been the Prophet,” are present in every era. Allah can’t be denied in the name of scholarship and science. Rather, these make you believe in Allah more, and worship Allah more. Knowledge (ilm) necessitates faith (iman), which necessitates serving Allah. See, Allah can’t be denied in the name of science, rather it should make you believe in Allah more. The achievements in technique and technology is due to Islam. These are achievements given to humanity by Allah, and all achievements are from Allah. All skills and abilities that we have are given by Allah. Our intellect (aql) has been given by Allah along with our spiritual structure, our physical structure; our inner structure have been given by Allah. It is Allah who bestows upon us beneficial achievements. Allah gives skill and ability.

“La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah al ‚ali al ‚adhim,” just take a look at the meaning behind this, and you will see that all power and ability in the universe belongs to Allah. Every makhluq (creature) has been created. The creatures have whatever the Creator has given. If the Creator takes them back, you and me will not have anything left. See, there are those who deny prophethood in the name of scholarship and science; they don’t accept the Prophet. There are those who don’t want to accept the Quran and the books of Allah in the name of scholarship and science. There are people who aspire to deniers, and those whom are deceived by deniers. Some say they wish they should have been the Prophet. Some wish to bring their idols to the fore. They wish to make their idols predominant over the Prophet, the Quran, and Allah. That is a different type of idolatry. Some divinize Naturism, others divinize Animism; they try to greaten their idols. Do you know what they are doing? They are divinizing the entire universe under the name of Naturism. Eternal rulership and sovereignty over all the worlds and the nature, along with omnipotence and power belongs to Allah Ta’ala. They are all in need of Allah. Allah is the Ruler. Allah’s sovereignty encompasses all the worlds, they under Allah’s rulership, they emerged by Allah’s creation. Everything is in a proper order, a divine order, a holy order by Allah’s creation and command; that is how they continue to exist and stand. That is why nobody should ever forget that whoever wishes to plot evil schemes against others or rain down bombs upon people, they will explode in their inner-world. Rather, work for the better good of humanity, not to their detriment. Do not work by denying either because one can’t deny Allah, this universe belongs to Allah.

Time Stamp: 20:20

People like Walid ibn al-Mughirah… Back then there were people like Walid ibn al-Mughirah. He used to tell our Prophet, “I should have been the Prophet,” and his entourage consisted of people who faltered him, the flatterers of that period in time. He used to say, “I am more deserving of prophethood than you.” That is, one needs faith (iman) to say, “Allah sends a Prophet. Everything Allah does is right.” However, this heathen, friend of the Shaitan (Devil) of that era called Walid ibn al-Mughirah, the enemy of the truth, the grand kāfir used to say those. He was a modern kāfir back then. He used to say to our Prophet, “I should have been the Prophet.” Allah has sent their souls to jahannam (hell). Do you know why these truths are being conveyed by Al-Quran Al-Karim, hadith-i sharifs, our beloved Prophet, prophetic biography, Islamic history, and worlds history that are written correctly. They narrate these so that mankind may derive lessons and take admonition. That is why Al-Quran Al-Karim gives all kinds of examples to those who listen and understand. Do you know why this man would object to our Prophet like that? He used to trust his wealth. He was saying that he is rich. And his entourage consisted of people who flattered rich people, these flatterers are present in every century. If evil could not muster support, then the world would have never been in the hands of evil ever; it would have been in the hands of good people. Mankind goes through interregnums and depressions from time to time because evil can muster support. That said, mankind finds comfort when good people find support, and even evil people and wrongdoers (zalimun) are saved from tyranny and/or tyrannising people.

Moreover, Abu Jahl used to say, “Either we receive revelation (wahy) too, or we will never accept your prophethood.” See, that is what Abu Jahl used to say. That is, he wants revelation (wahy). See, grand kāfirs such as him think that way. They have no faith (iman) at all, but their disbelief (kufr) is too big, they are grand kāfirs. They were the kāfirs of that era, and you can see this in Abu Jahl’s name. He used to progress in ignorance, he was the chief and pioneer of the ignorant. He used to say, “Either we receive revelation (wahy) too, or we will never accept your prophethood, nor will we accept the Book you brought, nor will we accept the religion of Islam that you brought, and we will not follow you.”

See, he cannot see the truth here, he cannot see Allah. He cannot see what Allah called the truth. He only sees his own ignorance, his own self, his conceit and disbelief (kufr). See, this is the outcome of seeing your own soul, disbelief (kufr), polytheism (shirk), hypocrisy (nifaq), and the material world without seeing the meaning behind it. See, seeing the creation without seeing the Creator (al-Khalq) makes people the greatest kāfirs of any given period. That is, Abu Jahl was also among the greatest kāfirs of his own period. Walid ibn al-Mughirah was also like that. They used to say, “How can we accept the superiority of the grandson of ‘Abd Manāf.”

Time Stamp: 24:55

You need to understand that superiority is not in tribes, nor in the East or the West, nor in the rich or the poor; rather it is in servitude to Allah, and doing what Allah says in the cause of truth and reality (haqq wa haqiqa), and attaining the pleasure (riza) of Allah. In the essence and soul of these, there is working for the better good of humanity. Things like faith (iman), good deeds (amal-e-saleh), and social justice necessitate working for the better good of all humanity. That is why those who see superiority in money, material, position, chair, racism, fascism or other -isms, or this and that, are those who are deceived. True superiority in a true faith (iman), serving Allah, and progressing in the way of doing what Allah calls true and real (haqq wa haqiqa).

This encompasses better good of humanity, justice, mercy, and love. This is an advancement that exclude evil. This is advancement in goodness and beautiful things, and superiority is with taqwa (piety). Now, what is taqwa (piety)? See, whoever worships Allah better has superiority. The standards of this are in the sharia (law) of Islam and the glorious Quran that have been sent down to Muhammad; these are standards of the sunnah, ijma, and qiyas. That is why, beloved friends, Abu Jahl used to see superiority in race, and he used to say, “How can we accept the superiority of the of ‘Abd Manāf.”

That is, he was seeking superiority in lineage and ancestry, but it is not in those. Our Prophet told this to his close relatives, “Don’t you ever come my way by bragging about the superiority of your own tribe and ancestry while others come to the gathering (mahshar) with good deeds.” He told his close relatives to come with their good deeds. Colours have no superiority over one another; black and white have no superiority over each other. Non-Arabs have no superiority over one another, and vice versa.

He says that superiority is in piety (taqwa). So, what do piety (taqwa) encompass? It encompasses faith (iman), good deeds (amal-e-saleh), knowledge (ilm), learning (irfan), and it also encompasses all scientific studies that are for the better good of humanity; and there is the blood of martyrs, and the knowledge (ilm) of Islamic scholars (âlims) here. It includes all that is for the better good and benefit of humanity, and it has no evil.

Piety (taqwa) is the name of a high-value equipped with good, and the whole of it is true servitude to Allah, and to live Islam from a to z. That is why our walis have explained the state of the heart, the state of the soul, the state of the body, the state of the organs with two terms, esoteric taqwa and exoteric taqwa. If you use all your forces in good work the way Allah has said, then you will attain taqwa (piety), and you will attain wara‘ (to abstain from doubtful things), you will attain zuhd (detachment), you will find reality (haqiqa), and the gates of ma’rifa (knowledge) will open. You will journey from discovery to discovery, and the number of discoveries and scientific studies will increase. Then, people will do their utmost for the prosperity of humanity. The mandatory provisions (amr hukm) of Islam are all beneficial. If a doctor removes cancerous section of an infected organ, then it is for treatment. Islam removes everything that harms humanity.

Time Stamp: 30:06

Allah makes peace predominant because Islam is faith (iman), good deeds (amal-e-saleh), justice, and peace. It is knowledge (ilm) and learning (irfan). See the 52nd verse of Surah al-Muddaththir [74], they used to want revelation (wahy) for themselves as well. That is, they both deny Allah, and object to the Prophet, and they disacknowledge the book that Allah has sent down, and they requested revelation (wahy) for themselves. This is an infidel’s mentality; they misuse the intellect (aql) Allah has given. Everyone has intellect (aql), and Allah has given abilities to everyone, physical and spiritual powers have been given but some people misuse them. Those who say we do not believe in any holy book in the name of scholarship and science, we call it nonsense, have all been destroyed. This is the norm in the history, and it is now. Those who say they will not believe in a holy book in the name of scholarship and science, and call it nonsense have all been destroyed. Azrail’s armies took them away. Where? From the grave to Allah’s greater court.

They are in the grave now. They were sent to their graves in order to answer in the grave; taken to realm of barzakh, and then they will be brought to the greater court. Who are we referring to? Well, this goes for every criminal who disbelieved.

Those who say they will not believe in any book in the name of scholarship and science, and call it nonsense have all been destroyed. The armies of Azrail (a.s.) took them away, and they will continue to take them away. They seized them until this day, they will seize those who live today, and those who will live tomorrow.

That is why we have scholarship (ilm), science, knowledge, and stem fields. We will either be united, or if we can’t, if some of us say they do not accept it, and there have been such people in the past; but they all have been destroyed. Whatever there is in the world in regards to science, stem fields, technique and technology are all graces (lutf) Allah has given; thank Allah more, and increase your faith (iman), increase your obedience. So, compete in piety (taqwa). Compete in knowledge (ilm) and learning (irfan). Let us obtain what is best in the world, and then let us go to janna (paradise).

Allah has prepared janna (paradise), and clearly stated who will be admitted to it in Al-Quran Al-Karim. Who do you think will prevail, Allah or the deniers? Allah has always prevailed, and what Allah says shall happen. There is no chance for any other possibility. It is utterly impossible for what others say to come true, that is out of the question.

Then again, Al-Qurtubi and Ibn-i Abbas, who are among our valuable Islamic scholars (âlims) have a narration that goes, “Allah brings good leaders upon a people with whom Allah is pleased, and if Allah’s wrath is on a people, then Allah will bring upon them evil things.”

We see that individuals, congregations, and nations should always form honest and steadfast societies. If nations and states are not formed according to the principles or truth and reality (haqq wa haqiqa), then evil people will take control. Then there is a punishment due to the transgressions of those nations and societies; and tyrants take the lead in those societies and inflict cruelty upon them. Allah is telling communities, individuals, congregations, and all nations that they should be honest and upright, be just, and then Allah will make just and honest leader take the lead in good systems.

Time Stamp: 35:13

We understand from this news that just rulers will not come for nations as they degenerate. Now, Ibn-i Abbas is among the greatest âlims among the sahabah. As for Al-Qurtubi, he was also among our valuable authors (mufassirs). Let me remind you that this news is about the peoples with whom Allah is pleased. That is, Janâb-i Haqq said, “If I am pleased with nations, then I will bring good leaders to them. I will bestow upon them good rulers and systems. And if My wrath is on a nation, then I will bring evil rulers upon them.” This is said by Janâb-i Haqq. This is what reflects upon us from a hadith-i qudsi. See, that is if Allah is not pleased with a system, a nation, a state, a society, a people, or peoples nations, and societies. If that is the case, then all humanity including every individual, congregation, society, nation, and state should turn and look at their inner selves, and evaluate their own inner status.

It is pointed out here that states will not be reformed unless individuals, communities, and nations reform themselves. If a society degenerates, then who will reign over that corrupted society? If that corrupted society has earned a punishment from Allah, then tyrants who oppress them reign over them. That is why there are obligations that fall upon every individual, every community, and every society. There are all obligatory duties. We are all obligated. We all should fulfil our obligations correctly, and work for the better good of humanity.

According to Ibn-i Kathīr, about some words mentioned between the 125th and 127th verses, he says that it is recited with a يَا (yā) without shaddah, with its sukūn. That is, the word “ḍayyiqan” in the 125th verse. In the recitations or qiraat of Abu Bakr, the word ḥarajan is recited with the kasra of rāʾ. Then again, according to Ibn-i Kathīr, the 18th word of the 125th verse is recited as yaṣṣadu with the sukūn of sād. These are the differences in recitations or qiraat, and there is benefit in mentioning these briefly. Those who know this kind of work will understand these because they know about it. As for those who don’t know, they will hear these as a side note here. Then again, according to Abu Bakr, the aforementioned word is recited, “yaṣṣaadu”.

The heart expands and fills with peace and joy through obedience and faith (iman). Beloved friends, what is important for a person is to have a true obedience and faith (iman) in his heart. See, it is said that by obedience and faith (iman) hearts expand and fill with peace and joy. That happens with faith (iman) and obeying Allah. So, people’s inner worlds are filled with peace by having faith (iman) and obeying Allah. That said, if there is no obedience and faith (iman) in people, then their inner worlds will be filled with such storms, such earthquakes, such stress, and such disturbance that they will experience depression at any given time. They become combative and unsettled, not happy. Why? The answer is out there in the open, he needs to have the faith (iman) that is brought forth by Allah through Islam and the Quran, and he needs to obey Allah. This is what is in the centre of these lessons.

Time Stamp: 40:15

These lessons bring forth the whole truth, faith (iman), teaching (irshad), and true obedience to Allah. The lessons of peace-giving light (nūr), and that is the name of our lessons, it is life-giving spirit (ruh). Another name of Al-Quran Al-Karim is spirit (ruh), and it is the life-giving book, and light (nūr). I am reminding you so that you may not forget. As for our Prophet (asw), he is a light (nūr) as well. See, Allah places this light (nūr) into the believer’s heart, and expands his heart with it, relieving it. See, these lights (nūr) of keen vision (firasat) settle in the heart. That is, the light (nūr) of the Quran, obedience, and piety (taqwa). See, piety (taqwa) in one’s heart is also a light (nūr). These are placed into the heart, by Allah’s grace (lutf). It is said that after that the heart relieves and expands.

We should earn this light (nūr), and there won’t be light in the heart without it. Its absence is nothing but manifold darkness and depression. Besides, if there is no faith (iman), then there is either disbelief (kufr), or polytheism (shirk), or hypocrisy (nifaq), or danger. The faith (iman) of Islam is an environment of trust, and salvation from all that, it is the embodiment of safety. That is a complete safety, and faith (iman) is the name of trusting in Allah. Besides, another name of Janâb-i Haqq is al-Muʾmin (The Granter of Security).

See, Allah turns the light of faith (iman) in the heart, which brings the servant (qul) to a complete environment of trust, and assures him completely because he who believes completely trusts Allah. That is, having complete trust in Allah is only present in those who have faith. That is why when the light of faith (iman) enters the heart, trust in Allah occurs, and Allah admits the servant (qul) into a complete environment of trust due to his faith (iman). From then on, he is in a complete safety and security due to his faith (iman). It is impossible for a person to be in an environment of trust without having this faith (iman) in his heart, and without fully trusting in Allah. The peace within is ensured and established with this faith (iman) and obedience.

Now, the following is a narration from our beloved Prophet.

Hodja recites a part of the original text of the hadith-i sharif.

He says, “It is a light (nūr) which Allah places into the believer’s heart.”

Hodja recites another part of the original text of the same hadith-i sharif.

“Allah expands his heart with it, and opens it.”

See, it is both expansion and opening of the heart with light (nūr). These were said by our beloved Prophet.

Dearest friends, these are narrations from trustworthy sources.

“They asked our Prophet, ‘What is its sign?’.”

They wanted to know apparent signs of this light (nūr).

Our Prophet said the following.

Hodja recites the original text of the hadith-i sharif.

Time Stamp: 45:15

Now, this is another one of our beloved Prophet’s lessons of light (nūr) that enlighten humanity. Sunnah is next to the Quran, and it also enlightens mankind. It ensures that people understand Al-Quran Al-Karim better. What does the narration say?

To wend your way towards… That is, to the afterlife (ākhira). To leave the world of illusion… So, what is the world of illusion? It is the world we live in, and we need to adhere to Allah and invest in the afterlife (ākhira), and work a lot, and work better than everyone in order not to be deceived by the world. The world is not a place of rest, rather you need to work hard and invest in the afterlife (ākhira) and janna (paradise) in the world. Every beneficial work, faith (iman), and obedience to Allah are investments to the afterlife (ākhira) and janna (paradise).

That is, he says, “To leave the world of illusion,” and adds, “to wend your way to abode of eternity.” And he says, “to prepare for death before it comes.” Don’t you know that you are going to die? Is it not more obvious than that sum of 2+2 is 4? Certainly, you are going to die, then you need to make preparations. “If this light (nūr) is present in your heart, then it is to get prepare for death before it comes to you,” he said.

Al-Alusi and Ibn-i Kathīr are among the sources of this news. Beloved friends, if this light (nūr) is present in your heart, then its signs should also be visible. Now, what are the preparations that are to be made before death. You need to have complete faith (iman), correct knowledge (ilm) learning (irfan); and you need to live in obedience to Allah. That is a goodness (khayr) and benefit that encompasses the better good of all humanity. See, you are filled to the brim with true love, with Allah’s love, and love Allah with every fibre of being. You’ll request nothing but Allah’s love, and then you’ll obey Allah with every fibre of your being, and your abilities.

That is, you serve, obey, and worship Allah by following Allah’s commands and standards. See, you can prepare for death by being a complete Muslim and living an Islamic life-style because Islam came for the better good of all humanity. Islam is a manifestation of Allah’s mercy (rahmat), through which Allah embraces all humanity. It is Allah’s manifestation of mercy (rahmat). No matter what beauty you seek, you may find it in Islam, Al-Quran Al-Karim, and Prophet Muhammad.

You will find whatever beauty you are looking for, along with every answer regarding life. You will find whatever you are looking for in the name of happiness. Whatever you are looking for in the name of protecting yourself from harm, you will find it. Islam, which is brought forth by Allah is actually embodiment of preventative medicine. It protects you from every wrong, every ignorance, every haram and sin; it protects you from every harmful thing, and equips you with all that is beneficial. This is Islam. And it leads you to the happy ending, by your own free-will, without forcing you. Besides, unless you do these with your own free-will with pleasure, then nobody is considered to be a Muslim. Everyone shall acknowledge these values with their own free-will, and do them willingly. Faith (iman) and serving Allah do not happen when someone forces you. Islam is the way of freedom that came from Allah.

Time Stamp: 50:00

Islam is the true way of freedom that leads to Allah, and the guarantor of this freedom is only Allah Ta’ala. The Creator who created humans as free beings is also the guarantor of said freedom. Nobody can guarantee this freedom other than the Creator. The things you call freedom are like small beads compared to gold when put next to the freedom that Islam brings forth. Those are like plastic beads. And even this comparison does not represent the truth completely. Even this expression does not reflect the truth completely because examples are not the same of the original. The verse says the faith (iman) of Islam makes them feel uneasy like climbing into the sky. See, for some people accepting Islam feels harder than climbing into the sky. Why? Because there is kufr in him and it does not get out, thus iman can’t get in.

His shaitan does not let go, and he does not want to leave his shaitan, nor does he give up the desires and wants of the soul (nafs). Thus, he became a prisoner of his own soul (nafs) and the Iblīs (the Devil), and started calling rights wrong. One can’t expect them to come to the right path unless Allah’s guidance reaches them. See, people can only come to the right path, or find the truth if Allah guides them.

The people who disacknowledge the reality feel uneasy, depressed, stressed, say ugh, may tolerate for some time only to get stuck, and they bog down. They seek salvation in calamity. They are under invasion of filth of disbelief (kufr). Whereas Islam has always been the name of eternal peace. It has always been the embodiment and name of peace, bliss, and brotherhood. You see, Es-Salaam, where it is safe from every fear. That is, Dar es-Salaam, the abode of peace. See, Islam is the abode of peace.

Islam itself is salam (peace), and the place it is practiced is Dar es-Salaam. However, Dar es-Salaam is called Dar al-Islam in the world, and it is called Dar es-Salaam in the janna (paradise).

O brother, come! Islam is Dar es-Salaam, Dar al-Islam. Muslims are in Dar al-Islam, and they shall move to Dar es-Salaam. That is, they will move from the worldly paradise of Islam, to the Dar es-Salaam in the other world; they will enter peaceful janna (paradise), blissful janna (paradise). See, Islam is the world’s paradise, and the paradise of the other world.

In this world it is called Dar al-Islam, and in there it is called Dar es-Salaam. Then again, the word salam means peace, happiness, and salvation, without there being any danger, without there being anything going wrong. It is to find a matured peace and salvation, which is Islam, under the condition that it incorporates utter peace and happiness.

It is peace and safety inside and outside, and we are talking about those whom Allah has rightly guided or will rightly guide. As for those whom are not guided by Allah, neither the Prophet, nor anyone else can have an effect on them. But what is the benefit of announcing (tabligh) these? These benefit those whom Allah will rightly guide, who will accept the guidance.

Time Stamp: 55:15

Allah’s guidance reaches those who will accept the truth right away. That is, as long as you use the abilities Allah gave you to accept the guidance, and use your will in the way of truth, use it in the way of Al-Quran Al-Karim. See, then Allah’s guidance will reach you.

Allah says, “I am the possessor of servants (qul).” Janâb-i Haqq says, “I am Allah.” Allah Ta’ala (c.c.) says, “I am the possessor of all servants (qul). That is, “I am their Rabb (Lord). Do not insult, repent to Me, so that I may make them merciful.”

Now, as you know, these are being said to the nations whom are oppressed by tyrants. Then again, according to this news and books about philosophy, narrated by figures like Fakhr al-Din al-Razi and Malik Deenar, Janâb-i Haqq says, “The hearts of the rulers are in My hands.”

See, “The hearts of the rulers are in My hands, and I make them merciful over those who obey Me. As for whoever rebels against Me, I make them punish.”

That is, neither individuals, nor communities, nor states, nor systems in the world can be reformed without obedience to Allah. You are to obey Allah. See, in the spirit (ruh) of this news there is obedience and faith (iman). What do you see when you read Al-Quran Al-Karim from beginning to end? You see a true obedience and faith (iman) to Allah. That is a necessity of all mandatory provisions (amr hukm) of Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim. So, what emerges in the end? A blissful way of life emerges along with eternal bliss, and Allah’s light (nūr) shines upon you, and that light (nūr) encompasses you.

Now, about secret shaitan communities, pay attention to them. It is said that secret shaitan communities led many astray. Says, “O shaitan communities! You have led many people astray. You have dehumanized them with plots, schemes, and lies; you have shown them the path to lust. You portrayed wrongs as rights to them.” Who is being addressed here? That is, the shaitans and their communities which are the bane of mankind’s life, which bleed mankind dry, which are obstacles before peace, which are the killers of this era. All organizations that work for the detriment of humanity, be it legal or illegal, are being addressed here. Says, “Work for the better good of humanity.”

Says, “O secret shaitan communities, you have led many astray, dehumanized them with your plots, schemes, and lies, and you have shown them the path to lust. You wanted to block the way of faith (iman), truth (haqq), justice and peace; you wanted to destroy social justice.”

They are being addressed, but so are those who support them from mankind and who help them. See, there are also servants of them who help them, and they are incapable of doing anything without them. You see, those servants who serve them slavishly are the ones who keep these shaitans, tyrants, and false idols. Ajal musammā – specified term – is for everyone including the tyrants, the just, the believers, and non-believers. So, what has Allah assigned to both Muslims and non-Muslims?

Time Stamp: 1:00:10

Allah has given everyone a lifetime, a term (ajal). Life ends and death comes. See, ajal musammā is the specified term. We see this truth when we look at the 2nd verse of Surah al-An’am [6]. Then again, the exception in the 128th verse is solely for certain times; and at certain times some are taken from the Fire and thrown into the cold jahannam, but they will return to the Fire again. So, what does the narration of Al-Zamakhsharī in Al-Kashshaaf say.

Says, “There are such criminals that divine justice has manifested to them, and they have been thrown into jahannam. They are conveyed from the jahannam of cold to the jahannam of fire, and vice versa. This is one of the types of punishment according to the crime.”

Please, recite the following prayer (dua) often.

Hodja recites the original text of the prayer (dua) below.

“O Allah! Save us from jahannam, the fire! Protect us, and admit us into Your janna (paradise) with good people.”

See, the prayer (dua) says, “Admit us into Your janna (paradise) with Your good servants (qul).”

They acknowledge (ikrar) that they are societies who used to commit the same crime, and deserve the same punishment. Pay attention! They acknowledge (ikrar) that they are societies who used to commit the same crime, and deserve the same punishment.

The criminals in this world help each other, and they continue to commit the same crime. They will be punished due to the same crime, tomorrow on the Last Day. They will get the punishment they deserve. Divine justice is manifested, and Allah takes revenge. Allah does not inflict cruelty, but punishes those who deserve it.

Then again, those who say, “Allah has not sent down anything,” in the 9th verse of Surah al-Mulk [67], and those who deny the Book and the Messenger, who have said, “وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيْءٍ” should Know that the price of denying this Book and the Messenger is to stay in jahannam (hell) forever and ever. Don’t you ever deny a single work or even a single dot of the Book. Try to fulfil every command of the Quran. But don’t you ever, and I am admonishing and warning you, and this is because I feel sorry for you; this is why I am pointing these out. Don’t you ever deny any command of Islam. Don’t you call something haram halal, and fulfil the commands of Allah to the extent of your ability. Denial and doing good deeds to the extent of your ability are different things. For one thing, no excuses are accepted in regards to faith (iman). To deny a part of Islam and accept the other parts is not faith (iman), rather it is complete disbelief. This is loud and clear in Al-Quran Al-Karim. You can’t deny any Prophet, nor can you deny and Holy Book. You cannot drive a wedge between the Prophets and Allah, nor can you follow a separate path by following only Islam, only Allah, or only the Prophet.

Time Stamp: 1:05:00

We have to believe what Allah says, because it is truth and reality (haqq wa haqiqa), we should believe it. We should affirm (tasdiq) it with our hearts, and recite it cognize (ikrar) it with our tongues. Besides, faith (iman) is a prerequisite here, and there is no faith (iman) without these. That said, there is no faith (iman) if there is doubt. There is no faith (iman) if there is denial and refutation.

People may become sinners, but they are never excused for denial. People may do mistakes, but faith (iman) does not accept mistake. There may be mistakes in deeds, and you may repent and ask for forgiveness, but woe to you if you die faithless.

So, believe right, and repent for your sins, and live as a Muslim without harming your faith (iman) in any way, and die a Muslim. Now, please pay attention! Rasul-us al-Thaqalayn, and Imam al-Haramayn; the Prophet of both mankind and the jinn is Prophet Muhammad (asw). See, Muhammad is all people’s Prophet. He is the Prophet of all humanity. He is also the Prophet of the realm of the jinn. Do not forget that. There are particular aspects of Muhammad’s prophethood that separates him from the prophethood of other Prophets. One of those aspects is that Hz. Muhammad is the Universal Prophet, and he is the Prophet of all peoples until the Hour. The amantu (fundamentals) of Islam is universal, in encompasses all Prophets and all Holy Books. That is why those who deny Islam will have denied the Prophet, and they will have denied Allah as well. Pay attention! Do not forget that the amantu (fundamentals) of Islam is true and universal, and that the amantu of all Prophets is the amantu of Islam. Now, in a narration (riwayat) that comes from Bukhari Sharif:

Hodja recites the original text of the said hadith-i sharif. Now, what is said here? “He is the master of all humanity, including Arabs and non-Arabs, and both the worlds of humans and the jinn.” See, he is both master and the Prophet of all nations including Arabs and non-Arabs. That is why we should acknowledge and obey Allah. The idolaters used to say, “Idols are poor, and Allah is rich.” See, they would bring food to their idols, and dogs would come and eat the food they placed before the idols, and then the dogs would lift up their legs and befoul them. See, people who do not serve Allah are partly like that. Why? Now, those who disbelieve in Allah, who disbelieve in Hz. Muhammad’s prophethood, and that Al-Quran Al-Karim and the divine laws and order of Islam are right and real, and those who place others in their place is either the same of that, or close to that. Though they may be many difference; the idols may be different for example. However, no matter to whom they are worshipping besides Allah, they are idolaters one by one. Some worship a black ox, some worship a white one. Others worship cows, and some worship lions, some worship his horse, some worship his dog. Some people worship their ancestry, and others worship Allah knows what. In the end, no matter whom he worships other than Allah, he ruins himself because it is polytheism (shirk).

Time Stamp: 1:10:08

Believers do not seek any judge besides Allah, nor do they acknowledge any provision (hukm) except that of Allah. Therefore, they should spend according to the divine law. That is, the affairs of believers should be according to the commands, rulership, provisions (hukm), and standards of Allah. He should abide by those when earning and spending. Believers should implement their faith in their affairs. Now that you have believed in the truths, you have to prove it in your affairs, morals, and with your justice; an you need to protect your Islamic mark in regards to your actions without becoming a polytheist (mushrik) or a flagrant sinner (fāsiq).

Those who are under obligation to stay under the rulership of polytheists and follow and participate in their provisions and actions cannot stay away from being dragged to polytheism (shirk) in regards to belief and actions. So, showing consent to them in regards to actions brings about polytheism in regards to doings. As for showing consent to polytheism (shirk) with your heart, it brings about polytheism in regards to belief. See, this is the article that reads the souls of today’s world.

Open the best and most respected ʿIlm al-Kalām books, aqidah books, and tafsirs and study them. We have given the meanings of the 136th to 140th verses of Surah al-An’am [6], we have finished them as well, and now we are giving discovery notes about them. See the discovery notes about the 136th to 140th verses of Surah al-An’am [6], and see our respected tafsirs such as the Tafsir of Elmalılı. Then, go ahead and read these verses of Surah al-An’am [6], and see what they say. Now, pay attention! Those who stay under the sovereignty of polytheists (mushrikun)… Pay attention to this part and understand well. And those who are obliged to follow and participate in their provisions and actions cannot stay away from being carried away to polytheism (shirk) in regards to belief and deeds. Showing consent in regards to your actions bring about polytheism in regards to action, but showing consent to polytheism (shirk) by your heart brings about polytheism in regards to belief. If you accept a polytheistic order and believe in it, then you fall into polytheism in terms of belief. It is also said that when you accept their doings, you fall into polytheism in terms of action. I wanted to summarise it a little bit. Now, these are discovery notes one by one. You should memorize that admonition and evaluate your belief and doings in order for you to live in a setting where you are amid them without falling into polytheism. Do not deceive yourself by thinking you are a Muslim if you live in polytheism (shirk). Rather, live as a Muslim, as a believer, and shield yourself from polytheism (shirk), and protect yourself from the polytheistic orders. Protect your belief and your doings. Try to protect and enlighten your lineage, nation, state, and all people of the world.

Time Stamp: 1:15:00

May humanity be saved from polytheism (shirk), may Allah protect them from it. May Janâb-i Haqq make all humanity successful in staying away from polytheism (shirk), hypocrisy (nifaq), objection, bad morals, and wrongdoings (zulm). May Janâb-i Haqq make all humanity successful in attaining good deeds (amal-e-saleh), good morals, and being filled to the brim with justice and love. That is why those who are obliged to live under the sovereignty of polytheists and follow and participate in their provisions cannot stay away from being dragged to polytheism (shirk) in regards to belief and doings. Showing consent by your actions brings about action related polytheism (amali shirk), and showing consent by your heart brings about belief related polytheism (itiqadi shirk). See the 121st verse of Surah al-An’am [6]. Be careful because there is an admonition. Be cautious because if you obey them, you will certainly be among polytheists. Whatever polytheistic provisions encumber are worthless expense because polytheism has no justice, rather it has wrongdoing (zulm). Therefore, whatever polytheistic provisions placed on you, then they are all worthless expenses and worthless spending. That is why we say Islam is a complete justice, and it commands earning properly in the way of Allah, and spending in the way of Allah. See, you cannot spend your wealth and properties in the way of polytheism, and you cannot strengthen polytheism, nor can you support it. First practical result of monotheism or tawhid is a practical economy that makes you spend only for Allah. See, there is practical economy as well, what is it? Well, if you are making every expense only for Allah, then yours is a practical economy. If you are not doing it all for Allah, then it is not practical economy, rather it is that which you spend for the sake of polytheism. That is a worthless expense, which is extravagancy. It is the cause of social depressions, miseries and crisis’ that tumble down and ruin society, and misery. See, what you earn for the sake of devils is utter waste. That is called a polytheistic order. Just observe the world for a second, why are some nations in misery? Because there is extravagancy in the world, there is improper consumption, improper spending, and improper stockpiles. They are not being used for the better good of humanity. These are present therein. However, this improper consumption is not present in the social justice that Islam brought forth, rather there is social justice, mercy, love, justice. There will be justice, and as there is no improper consumption or extravagancy, all nations of the world are will be at ease. Islam will not leave anyone hungry because it is Prophet Muhammad who has said, “He who sleeps with a full stomach while his neighbour sleeps hungry is not from among us.” He is the Prophet of humanity and Islam. As for what is earned for the sake of devils, it will go away. That is the tyrannical order that polytheism brought forth. They oppressed and insulted women by not giving them no rights except participating in dead animals.

Time Stamp: 1:20:16

That is, the polytheistic order in Mecca. The pre-Islamic rulership back then which based on polytheism (shirk), the ignorant rulership would not regard women as humans and they used to throw women into pits alive. Let alone being beneficiaries, they couldn’t even get a share from legacy, and they would participate in dead animals, meaning they eat carrion together. They had no rights or remedies apart from that. They were given no rights. As for Islam, it has announced the universal declaration of human rights to the world 14 to 15 centuries before today, and humanity has been embraced with divine mercy. The humanity has been encompassed with divine justice, and knowledge (ilm) and learning (irfan). As for those who do not live in the bounds of this truth today, they have either comprehended the truth and justice Allah brought forth late, and they couldn’t still comprehend some of it. Otherwise, the world would have advanced a lot more, and true justice and social justice would have been established in the world, and the entire would have been brothers. There would have been peace in the entire world. If that hasn’t happened, then it is because the unjust and the tyrants who object to Allah and Islam. It is because of polytheism (shirk).

That is why beloved friends, she associated the bequests given to only male offspring with jahiliyyah customs, and recited this verse. See, she associated the bequests given to only male offspring with jahiliyyah customs, and recited this verse. That is, our mother Hz. Aisha. The religion of Islam has given best rights to both women and men, and Allah has made the divine distribution. There are no flaws in Allah’s distribution. Flaws are only in the mindsets that do not understand that distribution correctly. See, there are still flaws in the heads that do not get Allah’s distribution and the divine justice of Islam right. Those who consider Islam flawed are inadequate minds. There are no shortcoming in Allah, and Islam is of divine origin. According to a narration of Al-Suyuti, this verse has the same meaning with the hadith-i sharif that says, “you will be governed by what you are” have the same meaning. That is, the 129th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Hodja recites a part of the 129th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

See, pay attention to this! What we see here is, all humanity and every individual should have a look at themselves first. Excellent communities, nations, and states will come about when every individual obeys Allah. O mankind in the world! Allah has given individual freedom in the world to all people. So, obey Allah with your individual freedom and free-will. Only then will individuals get better, and communities will get better. Excellent and noble nations will arise, and all humanity will gain virtue in the world. Then, a just order will emerge in the world. The just order where social justice and social peace is predominant in the world is the order that Almighty Allah has brought forth. That is, Allah’s laws and Allah’s order. That is, the laws in the cosmos and nature; divine and written laws. See, there are written signs (ayat), and cosmological signs (ayat). Janâb-i Haqq has been offering this justice to all humanity. Ensure peace in the world, and ensure social justice, but their foundation must be faith (iman) and obedience to Allah.

–          The End        –

Al-Quran Al-Kareem – Tafsir (Exegesis) Lesson 269

On the 141st to 153rd verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

I seek shelter in Allah from the rejected Satan. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Hodja recites the 141st and 142nd verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Almighty Rabb (Lord) says the following in these verses of the Quran: “It is Allah who created gardens trellised and without trellises, and the date palm, and crops of diverse produce, olives and pomegranates, in a similar and dissimilar fashion.”

See whatever there is, Allah is its creator. The Creator of these blessings is also Allah.

“Eat of its fruit when it bears fruit, give its due (zakat, sadaqah, tithe) on the day of its harvest; but do not be extravagant because Allah does not love the ones who are extravagant.”

So, give to charity; seek the poor, the wretched, and the orphans and give them willingly, and don’t you ever be stingy to them.

“Allah also created various cattle, some carry load, and some for making a bed using its wool. Eat of the sustenance (rizq) Allah has provided you, and do not follow the Shaitan’s footsteps (do not go after him). Indeed, he is an open enemy to you.

See, Janâb-i Haqq is saying, “لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ”.

Hodja recites the 143rd and 144th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

Janâb-i Haqq says, “Eight pairs – two of the sheep, and two of the goats. Say, ‘Is it the two males Allah has made haram, or the two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females? Inform me with knowledge if you are truthful.”

“And two of the camels, and two of the cows. Say, ‘Is it the two males Allah has made haram, or the two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females? Were you witnesses when Allah enjoined this upon you?” That is, were they with Allah? “So, who can be a greater wrongdoer (zalimun) than he who fabricates a lie against Allah to mislead people without any knowledge? Indeed, Allah does not guide that wrongdoing lot to the right path.”

Time Stamp: 5:00

These verses respond to the polytheists, because they used to call things halal and haram randomly, based on nonsense, these verses respond to their claims and deny all that is non-Islamic.

Hodja recites the 145th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Janâb-i Haqq says the following in this verse of the Quran: “Say, ‘I do not find in what has been revealed (wahy) to me that has been made haram for someone eating what you call haram; except carrion, blood, or the flesh of swine – and that is indeed unclean. And if an animal is slaughtered for anyone other than Allah, it is haram. But whoever is compelled; without violating someone’s right or transgressing the bounds of exigency (may eat of these only an amount that will keep them alive), indeed your Rabb (Lord) is Oft-Forgiving, Merciful.

Beloved friends!

Hodja recites the 146th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Janâb-i Haqq says the following in this holy verse: “We forbade every animal with claws to the Jews, and of the cows and the sheep We forbade to them their fat except what is borne by their backs or the entrails or what is attached to the bones.” Janâb-i Haqq says that about the Jews. “We punished them with that for their rebellion. And indeed, We surely are truthful,” says Janâb-i Haqq. Allah always speaks the truth.

Beloved friends!

Hodja recites the 147th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

This verse of the Quran says, “But if they deny you (that is Prophet Muhammad (asw)), say, ‘Your Rabb (Lord) is the possessor of vast mercy, but your Rabb’s punishment will not be averted from the guilty lot.’.”

Allah knows whom to have mercy on with said vast mercy, and whom to punish with a severe punishment. That is why it is said that Allah’s punishment will not be averted from the guilty lot. See, nobody can avert that.

If they could, why didn’t they avert the tsunamis? Why didn’t they avert the 1999 İzmit earthquake, Hurricane Katrina or Hurricane Rita? See, lightnings come from the sky, let them block it if they can. Azrail is coming, let them block him if they can! Is there such a brave fellow? See, one can’t stand against Allah. O humanity! Know Allah well. Know Allah via the truths Allah brought forth, with Islam and the Quran.

Janâb-i Haqq says the following.

Hodja recites the 148th verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Time Stamp: 10:10

Let’s see what Almighty Rabb (Lord) says, “Those who associate partners with Allah will say, ‘If Allah had willed, neither us nor our forefathers would have associated partners with Allah, nor would we have made anything haram. Those who had denied before them had said likewise.”

This is infidel’s excuses, polytheist’s excuses, and they are not valid excuses.

“Those who were before them had said likewise and in the end, they tasted Our punishment. Say, ‘Do you have a knowledge, then produce it for us? You do not follow anything but the assumption, and you do nothing but spout nonsense,” says Janâb-i Haqq.

Allah gave freedom to everyone, gave people will and intellect (aql). Allah presented these truths and commands through the Messenger and the Book. Allah presented them before people’s free-will. You used your will in the way of polytheism (shirk); why didn’t you use it in the way of faith (iman) and obedience to Allah? Why did you misuse your freedom? Why did you misuse your free-will? Why did not you not use the abilities given by Allah in faith (iman) and obedience to Allah? Do you think Janâb-i Haqq will not ask these questions to you? The others believed, why didn’t you?

That is why beloved friends, Janâb-i Haqq says the following after announcing this truth.

Hodja recites the 149th and 150th verses of Surah al-An’am [6].

“Say, ‘The conclusive argument belongs to Allah.”

See, that is Islam, Al-Quran Al-Karim, and Prophet Muhamad… All conclusive arguments that shall witness the past are in Islam, the Quran, and Muhammad Mustafa (saw).

“And if Allah had willed, surely Allah would have guided you all to the right path.”

But Allah does not use force. Allah does not make anyone believe by force because had Allah did that, then it would not be a test and there would be no freedom. Besides, becoming a Muslim under compulsion is not accepted by Allah.

So, what does Janâb-i Haqq say next?

“Say, ‘Bring forward your witnesses who testify that Allah prohibited this.”

Allah is asking to those who call things haram randomly, “What will you say when We say bring forward your proofs?”

“If they witness, then do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who denied Our signs, and those who do not believe in the afterlife. Do not side with them, don’t you ever approve them and follow them, while they set up equals with their Rabb (Lord).”

That is, they are polytheists who got stuck in polytheism. They did not know Allah as is due, nor did they acknowledge Allah’s provisions (hukm), nor did they acknowledge the Book sent down by Allah, nor the Messenger. They did not acknowledge the sharia (law) brought forth by Shari Ta’ala (Law-Maker) through the Messenger. That is why Janâb-i Haqq says you should never follow their desires.

Beloved friends, we see that Al-Quran Al-Karim has been shedding light, enlightening the universe with the reality, announcing the truth. Everyone should unite their intellect (aql) with Al-Quran Al-Karim and Islam, find life and enlighten with the life-giving light (nūr), because Al-Quran Al-Karim is spirit (ruh), it gives life; it is light (nūr), it enlightens.

Time Stamp: 15:30

After saying these in the aforementioned verses of the Quran, our Almighty Rabb (Lord) continues in the next verses. We are now at the 151st verse of Surah al-An’am [6]. Insha ‘Allah, we continue to present Al-Quran Al-Karim to you from the beginning in order, we continue to present you the lessons of this life-giving light (nūr) of the Quran, and discovery notes on it, and the eternal prescription of bliss that Islam brought forth along with all its knowledge (ilm). These are the lessons of the life-giving light (nūr), one can’t live without them. You need to live by them, be happy by them, and equip yourself with them and go to the presence of Allah with them. Don’t you ever go to the presence of Allah in any other way! Go with the Quran, Islam, and be subject to Muhammad, follow his path; and attain the pleasure (riza) of Allah. Don’t you do it any other way, it will be a pity! Allah is One, and truths that Allah brought forth are out there in the Quran. Muhammad is the last and greatest Messenger of Allah. Is it wise to abandon all that? Who do you think you are leaving when you abandon these values?

You are leaving Allah. You are leaving Allah’s commands. You lose everything for eternity when you abandon Allah, and you buy jahannam (hell). So, get your mind straight! These are lessons of the light of a complete reality or haqiqa. Objective, unmixed, pure; these lessons of the life-giving light (nūr) continue by only siding with Allah, the Messenger, and the quran. We are neither someone’s subcontractors nor anyone’s orbiters, nor do we flatter anyone, polish the apple for anyone. We are not polishing the apple for anyone here, and we cannot be.

May Allah save them also, and destine them to be honest and upright, and destine them to accept and spread this truth and reality (haqq wa haqiqa) of Islam by only siding with Allah, Islam, the Messenger, and the Quran. Islam and the Quran can’t be expounded or known under someone’s monopoly. So, what is the cause of lack of order and confusion? Everyone has taken someone under his monopoly; and the number of people who spread crooked and unrealistic information for the sake of unearned income. We have no word against the truthful, and we appreciate the truthful ones. Every truth is with us, and we are with them as long as we are truthful. That is, truthful ones are with each other, and our faiths (imans) are with each other.

As for disbelief (kufr), wrongdoing (zulm), and ignorance; they are also with each other. That is why the members of the truth are all with each other. O the world! O humanity! Come, let us unite in truth and reality (haqq wa haqiqa). All truths have united in Islam, we should also unite in these truths. Allah is One, why should we two? Why should we be five, or a hundred thousand? Allah is One, and aren’t we servants (qul) of Allah? Let us be united.

Lastly, the sharia (law) of Islam that Allah has renewed is manifest, truths are out in the open. The fact that Islam embraces all humanity is manifest. Why should we be two or five? Why should we get divided? Why should we be hostile where there is peace, justice, truth, brotherhood, and friendship? There is no reason for that.

Time Stamp: 20:25

Don’t be mistaken, those who bring about hostility are imposing their own disbelief (kufr) and polytheism (shirk), they are procuring unearned income, exploiting humanity. Go and see the chairs and positions of those who do not side with this unity, and see by whom they are funded. Around them you will see many good people who have been deceived people who are devoted to them, and they procure unearned income through them. You will also see the tricksters who procure unearned income with them.

Come, let their games be ruined. Islam embraces all humanity with Al-Quran Al-Karim and Prophet Muhammad. Allah embraces all servants (qul) with mercy through Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran. Let us not run away from this mercy, and be one. Let us be united, and save the world from this fight, brawl, hostility, and bloodshed. Let us make Allah’s social justice, brotherhood predominant. Allah has created the universe with love. So, let us make this love predominant.

You will see love encompassing the universe when there is true faith (iman), knowledge (ilm), and learning (irfan) in the world. That is, love is the essence of life, the eye of the heart. Islam is the name of being filled to the brim with that love. This love is not fabricated, nor is it imitation. It is the love of Allah. There are no bounds of the love of Allah. When you are filled to the brim with the love of Allah that encompasses all eternity, and when you love Allah wholeheartedly, and when Allah loves you, people (makhluqat) will not see anything but goodness and beauty in you. What you can give to humanity is love, beauty, truth, justice, and beneficial services. Islam is such a divine capital; it is the divine order.

Still some people direct their guns and cannons to Islam. They ostracize others in their own way, and they are shooting them over and over again. How long will you be shooting? The life of the person whom you shot, faithful ones, will be taken away by Azrail to janna (paradise). As for you, you will become a killer; and where will Azrail take you when you give your life to him? Do you think Azrail (a.s.)’s armies will not take you and all killers away? Don’t you think he will move to a place you deserved? Do you think you will not give your life? Do you think you will not die while killing others? Can’t Azrail enter your ivory towers? Can’t Azrail (a.s.) come to your palaces?

Does he not take the lives of those who live there? Do you think Azrail (a.s.) says, “They live in ivory towers! So, they are rich! They are bigwigs! This position and chair belongs to these people. So, I should not take their lives.” Come brother, don’t be mistaken. You, me, and everyone have been created from a droplet. We are all servants (qul) of Allah. Let us not look down on each other. Let us not shed blood. Let us not be unjust. Allah says, “I will surely take revenge on the unjust.” Allah will take revenge on you. O the unjust, the killers and murderers of this era! O the vilest terrorists of the era! Allah will bring you to book, and take revenge.

Azrail’s armies are breathing down on your next, waiting for your time to run out. They are waiting for your term (ajal) to end in order to take your life. The armies of Azrail are breathing down on your neck. You only see your own army. Abu Bakr had also come to Badr with a powerful army. There was a handful of Muslim soldiers with Muhammad, about 300 people. They had no weapons, only had 8 or 9 swords or something. That is, they did not even have swords. See, Islam came to universe for peace, truth, and justice. What did Abu Jahl and his men do? They faced Prophet Muhammad with a powerful army in Badr. What happened? Allah’s armies descended from the heavens; angels arrived. Allah has armies of war, armies of mercy, and armies of punishment. Do you think they disappear when you deny them? Let’s say you don’t believe and neglect it all. You say the Sun doesn’t exist when you shut your eyes. Is it like that though? Allah’s armies encompass all eternity (azal wa abad). Allah’s omnipotence (qudrah) encompasses all eternity (azal wa abad). If you see your own armies and not see the armies of Allah, then those armies will take you away tomorrow. They will take you and your armies away to the place you will go. You know that nobody has the chance to oppose Allah’s armies. You may not have belief (iman), but use your intellect (aql). If you have belief (iman), use it as well, and use your intellect (aql), and renounce this killing, tyranny, and exploitation.

Try to ensure peace in the world. See, Al-Quran Al-Karim has brought peace, justice, and brotherhood to the world. That is why people are servants (qul) of Allah Ta’ala. Be one. Be united. Love, be respected, and appreciate one another. All people are valuable, but those who object to the Real (al-Haqq) are the ones who destroy their own value.

They go down where they could go up. Is it not a pity? Every human is valuable. You are killing people in masses, renounce that! You are inventing terror, renounce that! You are feeding terror, renounce that! There is no such thing as, “Your terrorist, mine terrorist.”

Microbes make sick whoever it attaches, and ruins that organ. That is why if peace and tranquillity is ensured in the world, and justice is implemented, then there will be no such thing as terror. See, the population of the world is about 8 billion. Think about the percentage of worldly bounty that the 8 billion get. Then, see those who devour the rights of billions of people by holding 80% of the world’s bounty. As for global peace, do you think it is possible through global exploitation? Can there be peace through injustice? That can only happen with justice and a just distribution. Now about the distribution of income in the world… Allah’s mercy and blessing (rahmat) is vast, so what should we do? We should make the distribution correctly. We should not exploit, nor should we consume anyone’s rights. That said, we should establish justice regarding those whose rights are taken, and give their rights back to them. Islam commands that.

Hodja recites the 151st verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Time Stamp: 30:34

Almighty Rabb (Lord) is telling us the holy laws and holy commands in these holy verses.

“Say, ‘Come, I will recite what your Rabb (Lord) has made haram to you. That do not associate anything with Allah.” Allah has no partners, no equals, no comparables. Allah has servants (qul) and creatures. Don’t you ever associate anything with Allah. Do not associate partners with Allah because Allah has no comparables, there is nothing like Allah. “Be good to parents.” See, parents are not looked after in the world, except some. Think about the parents whose children do not visit even on holidays, who brought humanity to this state? Who drove a wedge between children and their parents? Who destroyed good morals? Who rotted mankind, left parents without their children? Who made parents and their children rebel? Who made husbands and wives fight? See the causes of that. What does Janâb-i Haqq say? Says, “Be good to parents.” Do you know how your parents raised you? They fed you and dressed you without feeding or dressing themselves! They never got tired, they had to compromise their sleep. They compromised their rest. To feed you, to shelter you, to look after you; so that you may not be sick, so that you may eat, drink, and be happy. Your parents did every possible favor to you. O ungrateful man! Why aren’t you looking after your parents? You casted them away to nursing homes, and they shout shouting, “my baby” by looking out the window. They are shouting, “When will my baby come and visit me?” Nursing homes are a place of unrest and despair. Can a son or daughter who takes care of their parents cast them away to a nursing home? Haven’t they took care of you, raised you? Who made people like this? O materialists! O those who deny the soul (ruh), who rotted mankind! What right do you have to snatch away people’s good morals, mercy, and love! See what you turned mankind into! In the end, people are migrating from one country to another, wishing they were dead. They want death. They want to die. Who made people like this? See, there is misery within the faithless. Who put a wedge between the servant (qul) and their Rabb (Lord)? Who broke the bonds of faith (iman)? Are you seeking peace in the world after turning people into slaves of material and lust by driving them away from Allah and their parents? Do not do that! Let go of this evil, and turn back to reality.

Janâb-i Haqq is saying that you should be good to parents, and do not kill your children out of poverty. See, Allah says, “Do not kill your children out of poverty.” Says, “وَلَا تَقْتُلُٓوا اَوْلَادَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ اِمْلَاقٍ” The world is filled with mercy (rahmat), blessings (lutf), and generosity (karam) of Allah; there are endless and boundless bounties. However, those who procure unearned income by exploiting humanity do not make the distribution correctly.

Time Stamp: 35:08

The equitable distribution is not reflected upon masses because mankind is being exploited. The powers in the world, those who possess power, they shall especially endeavour to establish justice. You shall unite for that. You need to form a powerful organisation and cooperation for that purpose! For justice, not for exploitation. Only then will you and mankind be happy.

Janâb-i Haqq says, “Do not kill your children out of poverty.” So many humans are being killed. The number of abortions is beyond comprehension. See what happened to the world. In pre-Islamic times which is called jahiliyyah period, people would bury their daughters alive in the Arabian Desert. What are they doing today? Live foetuses are being killed via abortion. What are those who kill children via abortion, who kill their children alive are doing? For what purpose are they using the foetuses? See, they wish to do something with it, and they are trying to use the foetuses in order to stay young. That much insult and cruelty upon mankind is too much! No child can be killed! No lives can be taken! The most honourable creature is human! The heavens and the earth have been created for serving mankind! You are obligated to preserve the heavens and the earth and all creatures, and use them properly. However, this is under the condition that you protect mankind and use all of it for the benefit of mankind.

Janâb-i Haqq says, “We provide for you and for them.” Allah provides, but people are not ensuring justice in Allah’s distribution. Allah says, “be just.” What are people doing in order to establish this justice? One side piles up the goods while the other sides is hungry, exploited. People are being killed for the sake of money. Countries are being invaded, and illegal organisations are being funded. They are inventing and supporting terror. The reason for that is divine justice has not been manifested to the earth yet. “Do not even draw to evil things – be they open or secret.”

The religion (din) of Islam is also the holiest religion (din) of high-morals. It has prohibited all evil, be it open or secret. The verse says, “And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden to be killed except by legal right.” That is like killing all humanity in Islam. You cannot take any life unjustly, except that it is by divine justice.

“Whoever kills a person unjustly is as though he has killed the whole of humankind. “And whoever saves the life of a person is as if he has saved the life of the whole of humankind.” These quotes belong to a verse in Al-Quran Al-Karim. They belong to Allah. You will answer to Allah for your actions if you are mercilessly killing people! You are killing people unjustly without distinguishing women and children, without making a distinction between guilty and innocent. Where is justice? The crime belongs only to the criminal, nobody else is to blame, it belongs to the one who committed it.

Hodja recites the 18th verse of Surah Fatir [35].

“And no bearer of burdens shall bear another’s burden.” Everyone carries his own burden.

Time Stamp: 40:08

That is why Islam came to save everyone. Allah is merciful on everyone, and calls to rahmat. Those who disobey are left out of the rahmat, and get struck by Allah’s wrath, which is a pity. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden to be killed, this is what Allah has commanded you, so perhaps you will be mindful.

Hodja recites the 152nd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Let us see what our Almighty Rabb (Lord) says here.

Says, “Do not come near the wealth of the orphan,” – “وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ”.

Do not consume the wealth of the orphan, do not consume the rights of mankind! Those who consume the wealth of the orphan exploit and consume the whole humanity. Janâb-i Haqq says, “You may approach the wealth orphan with best possible conduct (i.e., intending improvement) until they reach maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice.”

Islam is but a religion of justice. It is a religion of utter mercy, utter love. It is an utterly heroic religion of jihad. The religion of Islam is a complete heroism against the unjust and the tyrants who disacknowledge this justice. That is why you should give full measure and weight in justice. Do not consume someone’s right even slightly. Do not violate it even as much as a single wheat kernel. There are narrations from the ranks of mujtahids that say 700 namāzs will be removed from you for a rightful due equal to a single wheat kernel, and be given to its rightful owner, and those namāzs are the ones that are performed with congregation (jama’ah) which have been accepted by Allah. So, even if it is only as much as a single wheat kernel, do not consume anyone’s rights. “And give full measure and weight in justice,” says Janâb-i Haqq. Otherwise, 700 namāzs will be removed from you, and that is if you have it. If you don’t, then you will be burdened with the sins of the rightful owner which equal to that, and your punishment will increase, and you will go bankrupt. You will lose everything, and  there will be frustration for you in the world, grave, and gathering (mahshar). The right owners will take everything you had. There won’t be anything left for you.

Stay away from flatterers, apple polishers, and those who herald fake and crooked things. Hear the truth of the glorious Quran from the lightful Islam. See, these are the lessons of the life-giving light (nūr). There is no truth without speaking and experiencing the truth and reality. You can’t be saved from flatterers otherwise. What flatterers narrate in the name of religion will not save you or me. See the truth and reality (haqq wa haqiqa), and study the life lessons well. See, Islam is the embodiment of this life-giving light (nūr). Our lectures are lessons of the life-giving light (nūr), and the life-giving spirit (ruh). Al-Quran Al-Karim is also a spirit (ruh).

Janâb-i Haqq says, “We do not burden any soul except to its capacity.”

Time Stamp: 45:01

Everyone have been burdened except to their capacity. Islam makes life easier, not harder. Islam eliminates hardship. Everyone has been burdened to the extent of their capacityof. Islam has not brought any burden that exceeds anyone’s capacity. “And when you speak, then be just, even if it is a near relative.” Don’t do wrong because it is your relative, friend, wife, son, mother, or father. Even if it is your close ones, be just, keep your promise to Allah. Muslims are obliged to be honest and truthful no matter who he is. They are obliged to be just, and this goes for every Muslim. Allah has commanded these to you, so that you may take admonition and think.”

Beloved friends, we see that Janâb-i Haqq ended the verse by saying, “وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُون”. And then said the following.

Astaizu billah.

Hodja recites the 153rd verse of Surah al-An’am [6].

Janâb-i Haqq says, “And this is my straight path.” Islam and Al-Quran Al-Karim are Allah’s own straight path. They came from Allah, and they are the only right path that goes to Allah. All truths are therein. All that is real is therein. Because the reality or haqiqa therein encompasses all humanity, and all the worlds along with past and future. That is why Allah says, “This is my straight path, so follow it.” That is be true Muslims, and live Islamic lives. Says, “وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِ” – “And do not follow other paths which will separate you from Allah’s path.”

Do not deviate! Get your mind straight!

Says, “ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ” – “This is what Allah has enjoined upon you, so that you may be safe from Allah’s punishment.”

Islam is but a command and bequest from Allah to us servants (qul). What Allah enjoins upon people, and Allah’s admonition is conclusive. That is why you should get your mind straight! I am telling this so that we may all listen as I tell these to my soul (nafs), which is another obligation that befalls us.
